병원행정직 간호사의 특성에 관한 탐색적 연구 - 성격, 직무만족, 업무적합성 인식을 중심으로 - (An Exploratory Study on the Characteristics of Nurse Administrators - Focused on Personality, Job Satisfaction and Work Appropriateness -)

  • Objective: This study was performed to find out the characteristics of nurse administrators and the relationships among their personality types, administrative work appropriateness and job satisfaction. Methods: Participants were 112 nurse administrators who had worked for more than 1 year in a hospital administrative position in Seoul and Gyeonggi area. Data were collected form April 14 to Jun 17, 2016, using questionnaires. For the analysis, SPSS WIN 20.0 program was used. Results: Personality types are related to job satisfaction and administrative work appropriateness. Among big-5 personality types, the neurotic level is negatively related to job satisfaction. However, extroversion is positively related. For the appropriateness of administrative work, the way of transfer and working department show no significant relations but age shows significant relation. The influence of age needs further study. Conclusion: The personalty types are related to nurse administratorsʼ job satisfaction and administrative work appropriateness.

몽골 여성 소비자의 명품 소비가치 세분화와 브랜드 개성 및 구매행동에 관한 연구 (Luxury value-based segmentation, brand personality, and purchase behavior of Mongolian female consumers)

  • The current study aimed to segment Mongolian female consumers based on luxury consumption values and to compare lifestyle, demographic characteristics, purchase behavior, and perceived brand personality among the segments. The survey was administered to consumers who had purchased luxury products in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. A total of 184 surveys were used for data analysis. Exploratory factor analysis revealed five luxury values: quality value, hedonic value, conspicuous value, social value, and unique value. Using the five luxury values, clustering analysis was conducted, showing that there were four distinct segments: passive shoppers, showoffs, rational value groups, and hedonists. ANOVAs and chi-square analyses revealed that these four segments differed in consumption values, demographic characteristics, lifestyle dimensions (including appearance consciousness, leisure orientation, life enjoyment, and achievement orientation), and purchase behavior (including purchase frequency, price of products purchased, and product selection criteria). Moreover, value segments showed differences in five dimensions of luxury brand personality: sincerity, professionalism/attractiveness, excitement, materialism, and sophistication. The results suggest that consumption values serve as a significant basis for segmentation. Furthermore, the current study indicates that value segments can be described as consumers' perceived brand personality. The study concludes with a discussion of the results, theoretical and practical implications, and limitations.

대학생의 개인적 특성이 직업기초능력 향상에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Influence of Individual Characteristics of College Students on the Improvement of Basic Skills)

  • 본 연구는 대학생의 개인적 특성이 직업기초능력 향상에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 연구결과 조사대상자는 대학생을 대상으로 총 73명을 분석하였다. 첫째, 대학생의 개인적 특성이 자기개발능력에 미치는 영향은 p<.001 유의수준에서 외향적성격(.423)이 자기개발능력에 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 내성적성격(p<.05, ${\beta}=.268$)과 외향적성격(p<.001, ${\beta}=5.862$)이 정보능력에 유의한 영향을 미쳤으며 $R^2=.389$로 38.9%의 설명력을 나타내고 있다. 셋째, 개인적 특성이 대인관계 능력에는 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치지 못했다. 넷째, 개인적 특성이 자기개발능력에 자기개발능력과 외향적성격(.144), 자기개발능력과 정보능력(.201), 자기개발능력과 내성적 성격(.120)이 p<.01 유의수준에서 유의한 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 개인적 특성별 직업기초능력 진단을 통하여 상위집단과 하위집단간 직업기초능력에 미치는 영향을 조사함으로써 직업기초능력 향상에 영향을 미치는 효과가 있음을 확인하고 그 효과성을 검증한 데 연구의 의의가 있다.

직무스트레스 관리를 통한 조선업 현장관리자의 작업능력 향상 방안에 관한 연구 (A Plan for Improving Shipbuilding Industry Foreman's Work Ability by Managing the Job Stress)

  • Recently, personal characteristics of organizational members arc regarded as an important factor that affects performance of organization. In addition, job stress is attributed to one of main factors that result in poor work ability and high turnover rate. In this study, job stress, work ability and DISC personality types were surveyed targeting 292 of foreman in shipbuilding company. The relationships between job stress and personal characteristics including personality types and correlation between job stress and work ability were analyzed based on the result of survey. As a result of statistical analysis, there were six statistically significant relationships between job stress and age, job tenure, work type, hobbies, exercise, personality types. On the other hand, there was a statistically significant relationship between work ability and exercise. Furthermore, negative correlation between job stress and work ability were found. In accordance with these analysis, this study presented how to improve work ability by managing job stress items and personal characteristics that affect the stress and the stress level.

한의대생의 심리 특성 연구 - 벡 우울증 척도, 한국판 미네소타 다면적 인성 검사-2를 중심으로 (Psychological Characteristics of Korean Medicine Students with Focus on the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory-2 and the Beck Depression Inventory)

  • Objectives The purpose of this research is to study the Psychological Characteristics of Korean Medical Students focusing on the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory-2 and the Beck Depression Inventory.Methods The survey was conducted on 101 Korean Medicine Students to investigate psychological characteristics focusing on the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory-2 and the Beck Depression Inventory.Results 29.7% of students scored more than 10 points in the Beck Depression Inventory. Students with depression according to the Beck Depression Inventory showed the higher scores in the Pd, Si, RC4, WRK, FAM, Mt and MDS scales as compared to the students without depression tendencies (p<.05). Students with depression according to the Beck Depression Inventory showed the higher scores in the Pt, RC7, ANX, A and PK scales as compared to the students without depressive tendencies (p<.05).Conclusions Students with depressive tendencies seem to have more difficulty adjusting socially compared to students without depressive tendencies. In addition, students with depressive tendencies will likely have other psychological problems compared to the students without depressive tendencies.

원형탈모증 환자의 정서상태와 성격특성에 관한 임상적 연구 (Clinical Study of Emotional State and Personality Characteristics in Patients with Alopecia Aerata)

  • Objectives: This study was aimed to investigate the emotional state and personality characteristics of alopecia aerata patient and to determine whether these characteristics are similar with those of neurotic patient. Methods : 20 alopecia aerata patients, 20 neurotic patients, and 20 normal healthy controls were studied. Beck Depression Inventory(BDI), State and Trait Anxiety Inventory(STAI) and Korean standardized edition of Catell's 16 Personality factors Questionnaire(16PF) were used for assessment. Results: 1) Total score of BDI was higher in neurosis group than alopecia aerata group and normal control group(p<0.05). Inspire of statistical non-significance, total score of in alopecia aerata group was higher than normal control group. 2) Total scores of state anxiety and trait anxiety in alopecia aerata and neurosis group were significantly higher than normal control group(p<0.001). 3) In first-stratum source traits of 16PF, normal control group was significantly higher than alopecia aerata group and neurosis group in B-factor(intelligence) and C-factor(ego-strength)(p<0.05). Alopecia aerata group and neurosis group were significantly higher than normal control group in O-factor(guilt-proneness) and $Q_4-factor(tension,\;anxiety)$(p<0.001). 4) In second-stratum source traits of 16PF, alopecia aerata group and neurosis group were significantly higher than normal control group in ANX-factor(anxiety)(p<0.05). Conclusions : These results suggest that emotional state and personality characterstics of patients with alopecia aerata are a distinguishable different to compare with normal control, and are very similar with those of neurotic patients. The authors propose that psychiatric management in patient with alopecia aerata will be more benificial.

살인으로 기소된 여성과 비폭력 범죄로 기소된 여성의 정서 특성 비교 : 미네소타 다면적 인성검사-2를 중심으로 (A Comparison of Emotional Characteristics of Women Charged with Homicide or Non-violent Crimes : Focused on Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory-2)

  • Objective : This study aims to identify personality characteristics in female homicide offenders by using the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory-2 (MMPI-2) test. Methods : This study retrospectively analyzed the mental appraisals and MMPI-2 scores of 54 women charged with homicide and 67 women charged with non-violent crimes, who were referred to National Forensic Hospital in Gongju city for psychiatric evaluation between January 2012 and March 2016. Results : Women charged with homicide scored significantly higher on Hs (p=0.018), D (p<0.001), Hy (p=0.002) and Pt (p=0.004) than the women charged with non-violent crimes. The women charged with homicide may have developed the following characteristics: hypochondriasis, depression, hysteria and psychasthenia. In multiple regression analyses, a final regression model including age of crime onset and depression was significant, explaining 16.5% of the variance in homicides committed by females. Conclusion : These findings suggest that personality characteristics in the female homicide offenders might be different compared to the non-violent crime offenders.

가정과교육에서의 창의.인성 수업 모델 개발 - '옷차림과 자기 표현' 단원을 중심으로 - (The Development Teaching Models for Creativity and Personality Education in Home Economics Education - Focusing on the Unit 'Clothing and self-expression'-)

  • 본 연구는 가정과교육의 정체성과 본질을 바탕으로 가정교과에서의 창의 인성 교육의 특징과 요소를 탐색하여 도출하고, 가정교과의 창의 인성 수업 모델을 개발하는데 목적이 있다. 먼저 문헌 고찰을 통해 가정과교육에서의 창의성과 인성 교육의 전제와 특징을 탐색하고, 가정과교육에서의 창의 인성 교육요소를 18개 도출하였다. 이를 바탕으로 가정과교육에서 창의 인성 교육의 전제와 특징, 창의 인성 교육 요소를 발현하기에 적합한 가정과의 창의 인성 수업 모델로서 실천적 문제해결학습 모형, 창의적 문제해결학습 모형, 탐구학습 모형, 역할놀이(체험학습) 모형을 '옷차림과 자기 표현' 단원에서 개발하여 제시하였다. 본 연구는 창의 인성 교육이 가정과교육의 본질과 부합되는 개념임을 확인하고, 가정과에서의 창의 인성 수업의 기초를 마련한데 의의가 있다. 앞으로 가정과에서의 창의 인성 교육에 대한 철학적 논의의 활성화, 가정과교육에서의 창의 인성 교육 요소에 대한 다양한 검증, 다양한 창의 인성 수업모델 제시, 창의 인성 수업 후 학생들의 변화를 살피는 연구가 필요하다.

Type D 성격 유형에 따른 간호사의 공감 피로, 소진, 공감 만족 및 직무 스트레스 (Effects of Type D Personality on Compassion Fatigue, Burnout, Compassion Satisfaction, and Job Stress in Clinical Nurses)

  • Purpose: This study was done to identify the effects of Type D personality on compassion fatigue, burnout, compassion satisfaction, and job stress in clinical nurses. Methods: A descriptive cross-sectional design was used. Data were collected from a convenience sample of 172 clinical nurses working in two tertiary hospitals. The structured questionnaires included Type D personality scale, compassion fatigue, burnout, compassion satisfaction, and job stress scales. Results: About 79.7% of participants were classified as Type D personality group. The Type D personality was not related to general characteristics of clinical nurses. The Type D personality group showed statistically significant higher compassion fatigue, burnout, and job stress and lower compassion satisfaction compared to the non-Type D personality group. In addition, compassion fatigue and burnout were positively correlated with job stress and compassion fatigue was positively correlated with burnout. However, compassion satisfaction was negatively correlated with burnout. Conclusion: As the prevalence of Type D personality is high in clinical nurses, it is necessary to assess stress-related personality. In addition, management for the nurse with Type D personality is required to alleviate compassion fatigue, burnout, and job stress and to improve compassion satisfaction.

집단요인이 GDSS활용의 효과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (The Impact of Croup Member Characteristics on the Use of GDSS)

  • While one main stream of research in GDSS (Group Decision Support System) is to investigate how GDSS affects decision-making performances of groups according to task types, support features, meeting facilitation modes and meeting environments. little study h3s been done about how group characteristics affect group decision processes and outcomes depending upon GDSS is provided or not. So far, most GDSS research has considered group characteristics (e.g. personality homogeneity) as given and did not include it as control variables in experiments. Therefore, the objective of this study is to investigate how members of two different groups perceive the use of GDSS in group meetings through lab experiments. The two groups are homogeneous and heterogeneous groups in terms of members' personality mix. This research found that the effect of GDSS is a function of groups' personality homogeneity in regards of the satisfaction on decision process and the communication thoroughness. The support of GDSS and the group homogeneity are proved to influence participant's perception about some dependent variables such as satisfaction on decision process.
