게임 개인 방송의 부가적 정보 서비스 구현 (An implementation of additional information service for game personal broadcasting)

  • 최근 스마트폰의 사용이 보편화 되고 주요 소비층이 밀레니엄 세대가 됨에 따라 개인 방송이 큰 이슈로 떠오르고 있다. 개인 방송 서비스 중 최근 큰 인기를 끌고 있으며 많은 사용자를 확보하고 있는 것이 게임 방송 분야이다. 게임 방송을 진행하는 브로드캐스터는 스트리밍 영상과 채팅을 통해 시청자와 실시간으로 소통하며 방송을 진행한다. 하지만 시청자는 브로드캐스터의 목소리와 화면에만 의존할 뿐 다른 추가적인 정보 서비스를 제공받기에는 한계가 있다. 이에 본 논문은 OBS를 이용한 HTML5 기반, JQuery 웹소켓 프로토콜을 통해 개인 방송 플랫폼을 제작하였고 Socket.IO를 사용하여 실시간 채팅 서비스를 추가하였다. 방송을 송출하는 방송 진행자가 입력하는 키 값을 스트리밍 영상에 오버레이할 수 있게 됨으로써 시청자에게 게임 진행 정보를 전달할 수 있고 시청자는 이를 통해 방송 진행자의 게임 스킬을 습득할 수 있으며 몰입감을 높일 수 있는 서비스를 개발하였다.

  • PPCP (pharmaceuticals and personal care products) is known as micropollutant that is released from wastewater treatment plant. Research represents that these contaminants have increased in the last 10 years. This study tries to make four different trickling filter systems using plastic fiber media to remove PPCP such as acetaminophen, ibuprofen, caffeine. The results of the experiment that compares the process efficiencies of four different systems (A, B, C and D) using HBC media show that almost all the reactor has around 95% removal efficiency. Slope type HBC reactor has twice higher efficiency rather than submerged type reactor to remove PPCP in water system. In 8 hours, 89% of acetaminophen, ibuprofen, caffeine are removed in slope type reactor while 39% of them in submerged type.

  • The salient features of UWB(Ultra WideBand) networks such as high-rate communications, low interference with other radio systems, and low power consumption bring many benefits to users, thus enabling several new applications such as wireless universal serial bus (WUSB) for connecting personal computers (PCs) to their peripherals and the consumer-electronics (CE) in people's living rooms. Because the size of multimedia data frame, WiMedia device must transmit the fragment of MSDU. However, when the fragment of MSDU is lost, WiMedia device maintains active mode for the time to complete the transmission MSDU, and there is a problem that unnecessary power consumption occurs. Therefore we propose new power management scheme to reduce unnecessary power consumption of WiMedia devices in the case that the fragment is lost.

인터넷 이용과 프라이버시 역설에 대한 세대별 차이 연구 (A Study on Generational Differences in the Internet Use and Privacy Paradox)

  • With regard to the diffusion of mobile Internet service and generational differences for Internet use, this study aims to explore the relationship between the Internet activities and privacy concern based on the media dependency theory. Using the Korea Media Panel data produced by KISDI in 2018, this study analysed 8,988 nation-wide samples to test the difference of Internet use in personal privacy concern among generations. The results of the study showed that there was statistically significant difference for privacy concern among generations. This study has an implication to reveal the phenomenon of 'privacy paradox' by showing that SNS use negatively influenced users' privacy concern.

Why do We Share Information? Explaining Information Sharing Behavior through a New Conceptual Model between Sharer to Receiver within SNS

  • Social networking services (SNS) is an indispensable method in order to obtain information of the Internet participants. The study identified three variables of social media communication, sharing culture, and online trust in terms of social capital theory (SCT) and reviewed intention& behavior variables in terms of theory of planned behavior (TPB). The data were collected from 330 samples of SNS user, and were involved, and the research model uses AMOS to make confirmatory factor analysis. The findings confirmed our hypothesis that social media communication, sharing culture, and online trust affect individuals' behaviors to sharing information. This study emphasizes that not only social media communication but also sharing culture to SNS can stimulate information sharing. while previous research has predominately focused on personal cognition or social network, the study examines the integrated influence of communication, culture and trust on information sharing in SNS. In sum, by explicating the unique role of social capital, this paper aims at contributing to the continued development and success of SNS in general.

  • The media environment is rapidly evolving to be tailored to viewers using personal mobile devices in accordance with technological evolution and changes in social structures. Broadcast media technology is also advancing to enable new services, including data casting, in various reception environments beyond the existing fixed environment and one-way audio/video content services. In addition, technologies to increase the transmission capacity to accommodate next-generation large-capacity media content as well as communication network utilization and convergence technologies are being developed to facilitate interactive services and expand the broadcasting coverage. We discuss the current status and future prospects in broadcasting technology for terrestrial and mobile communication systems and analyze broadcasting technology elements for upcoming media environments relying on generative artificial intelligence.

중국의 1인 게임 방송의 선호 유형 분석 - 배틀그라운드 1인 게임 방송을 중심으로 (An Analysis of the Preference Type of Internet Personal Game Broadcasting in China - focused on Player-Unknown's Battlegrounds Streaming)

  • 본 논문에서는 중국의 인터넷 1인 게임 방송의 유형을 분류하고, 중국 시청자의 1인 게임 방송에 대한 선호 유형을 살펴보았다. 팔로워 수를 기준으로, 팔로우 10만 명을 돌파한 상위권 100명의 크리에이터의 배틀그라운드 1인 게임방송을 대상으로 게임방송의 목적과 특징 요소인 게임플레이, 오락성, 시청자 참여정도를 기준으로 유형을 분류하였다. 그 결과 중국의 인터넷 1인 게임 방송의 유형은 프로게이머형(Progamer Type), 협동플레이형(Cooperative Playing Type), 스토리텔링형(Storytelling Type), 상호오락형(Reciprocal Entertainment Type)으로 분류되었다. 분석 대상인 배틀그라운드 1인 게임 방송에서 가장 높은 비율을 차지하고 있는 방송 유형은 38%의 비율을 나타낸 프로게이머형이다. 다음은 스토리텔링형이 25%를, 협동플레이형과 상호오락형이 각각 19%와 18%의 비율을 나타내었다. 상대적으로 실시간 시청자와의 소통이 낮은 유형인 프로게이머형과 스토리텔링형이 63%로 높은 비율을 차지하였는데, 이러한 결과가 의미하는 바는 보여주기 중심의 방송 매체의 특징이 1인 게임 방송의 제작과 기획에 영향을 주었기 때문이라고 해석된다. 그러나 게임과 1인 게임방송의 플랫폼이 갖는 상호소통적 특징은 점차 기존의 게임 방송 매체의 제작 관습에 변화를 줄 것으로 예측할 수 있다.

The Impact of the Audience's Continuance Intention Towards the Vlog: Focusing on Intimacy, Media Synchronicity and Authenticity

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the impacts of the audience and vlog creator's self-disclosure, media synchronicity (immediacy of feedback, variety of symbol set), as well as content authenticity on the intimacy between the vlogger and the audience and continuance intention of the audience. The participants of the online survey were young Chinese females, instructed to practice their routine of watching vlog and the fixed vlog channels. By the interpersonal process of intimacy model and media synchronicity theory, the results of the structural equation modeling revealed that self-disclosure (audience's disclosure) and partner responsiveness (vlogger's disclosure) form the experience of intimacy in interactions. Also, the quick immediacy of feedback, rich symbol set, and content authenticity positively impacted intimacy development. Meanwhile, intimacy enables the audience to form a continuous viewing behavior. We expect the results of this study will provide more insight into the relationship between the audience and the producer in online video content. In terms of the personal media influencers and MCN companies, this study is also suggests strategic implications.

중앙행정기관의 소셜미디어 아카이브 도입 방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Introduction of a Social Media Archive to the Central Government)

  • 소셜미디어는 개인적 영역과 공적인 영역에서 다양하게 활용되고 있으며 시대의 문화와 역사를 증거하는 기록으로서의 가치를 지니고 있다. 최근 소셜미디어가 국내외 기관의 정보서비스 영역과 공적인 커뮤니케이션 통로로 활용되고 있고 소셜미디어 기록물의 획득 및 아카이브 사례들이 발표되고 있다. 본 연구는 소셜미디어가 가지는 가치를 조명하고 해외 기관의 아카이브 사례를 분석한 후 중앙행정기관의 기록관리 사각지대에 있는 소셜미디어 기록을 획득하여 아카이브는 방안을 제시하였다.

패션관여도에 따른 TV미디어 스타 동조성과 정보원 연구 (A Study on the TV media star conformity and Information source by the Types of fashion involvement)

  • The purposes of this study were to categorize the fashion involvement of male and female college students in their twenties and to investigate the relationship of the types of fashion involvement to the conformity to TV media stars and information source. The data were analyzed by factor analysis, one-way ANOVA, Duncan test, cluster analysis, cross-tabulation analysis. The results of this study are as follows; 1. Fashion involvement was categorized into four factors; pleasure, fashionableness, symbolism, and availability. The conformity to TV media stars was categorized into fashion conformity, star imitation, interests in TV programs, and interests in stars. Information source was divided into mass media, product information, and personal information. 2. There were significant differences in the conformity to media stars and information source by the different types of fashion involvement. 3. The results for the correlation between the conformity to TV media stars and information source showed that there were significant correlations with all of the factors.
