치과내원환자의 치과감염관리에 대한 인식 및 요구도에 관한 연구 (A study on the perception and needs about dental infection control of the dental patients)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to provide a satisfactory and reliable dental care service for the patients and to establish a plan to raise the perception about dental infection control. Methods: The perception of infection control in the dental clinic of the patients was examined who visited to dental clinics, over 20 years old and living in Seoul and Gyeonggi province since December 2016. The questionnaire was used as the survey tool, and 274 questions in the questionnaire were analyzed. Results: Results of examined factors affecting the perception of dental infection control in dental clinics show that the perception of infection control in dental clinics is affected by the degree of university graduates (p<0.05), full-time workers (p<0.01), housewives (p<0.001), and oral health concerns (p<0.05), the perception of infection control of dental medical personnel (p<0.001) in order. Conclusions: Dental medical personnels must thoroughly wash their hands, wear uniforms, wear personal protective equipment, and thoroughly clean and disinfect the interior of a dental clinic.

어린이집 보육교사의 배식관리 및 식사지도에 대한 중요도-수행도 분석 (Analysis of the Importance-Performance Related service management and feeding practices of teachers at mealtime in childcare centers)

  • 본 연구에서는 보육교사의 배식관리 및 식사지도에 대한 중요도와 수행도를 파악하기 위하여 서울시 금천구의 어린이집에 근무하고 있는 보육교사 179명을 대상으로 2013년 12월에 설문조사를 실시하였다. 응답한 어린이집의 유형은 가정 어린이집 (39.7%), 민간 어린이집 (31.8%), 국공립 어린이집 (28.5%) 순으로 많았다. 요인분석 결과, 보육교사가 수행하는 배식관리 및 식사지도는 '개인 위생관리 (요인 1)', '식사지도 (요인 2)', '식재료 위생관리 (요인 3)', '맞춤형 배식 서비스 (요인 4)'의 총 4개의 요인, 11개의 항목으로 추출되었다. 보육교사는 '배식 시 위생모를 착용한다', '배식 시 일회용 장갑을 착용한다' 등의 요인 1 (개인위생관리)과 관련한 항목에 대한 중요도를 가장 낮게 인지하고 있었으며 수행도도 가장 낮았다, 반면 '영유아의 연령을 고려하여 음식을 잘라서 배식한다', '영유아의 연령별로 1인 분량을 달리하여 배식한다'의 요인 4 (맞춤형 배식서비스)와 관련된 항목에 대한 중요도를 가장 높게 인지하고 있었고 수행도도 가장 높았다. 중요도-수행도 분석 결과, 중요도와 수행도가 모두 높은 1사분면에는 '영유아의 식습관을 격려하고 칭찬한다', '식사 전 후 감사인사를 한다', '영유아와 함께 앉아 식사한다' 및 '영유아의 연령을 고려하여 음식을 잘라서 배식한다'의 4개 항목이 포함되어 있었다. 이에 비해 중요도와 수행도가 모두 낮은 3사분면에는 '배식 시 위생모를 착용한다', '배식 시 일회용 장갑을 사용한다', '배식 시 배식용 앞치마를 착용한다', '영유아의 연령별로 1인 분량을 달리하여 배식한다'의 4개 항목이 포함되어 있었다. 중요도는 낮다고 인지하고 있으나 수행도는 높은 4사분면에는 '조리 완료 후 2시간 이내에 배식한다', '먹다 남은 우유 (분유)를 바로 버린다', '식사 중 영유아의 이름을 부르며 대화한다'가 포함되어 있었다. 본 연구결과, 전반적으로 보육교사는 배식과 관련한 정부 지침에 대해 중요하다고 인식하고 있었으며 현장에서 이를 수행하고 있는 것으로 파악되었다. 그러나 보육교사는 배식 시의 개인 위생관리 및 식재료 위생관리에 대해서는 중요하다고 인지하는 정도가 맞춤형 배식 서비스에 비해 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 특히 개인 위생관리는 중요도뿐만 아니라 수행도도 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 이에 보육교사를 대상으로 개인 위생관리의 중요성에 대한 교육이 실시 되어야 하며, 특히 배식 시의 위생적인 복장 착용에 대한 주제로 한 교육이 필요할 것으로 생각된다. 또한 보육교사가 이를 실천할 수 있는 어린이집의 급식 환경 마련이 필요할 것으로 생각된다. 이를 위해 정부 및 관련 기관에서는 보육교사를 대상으로 한 위생교육을 지속적으로 제공하고 교육 이론을 현장에 적용할 수 있도록 환경을 조성해야 한다.

치과의원의 감염방지 실태 및 치위생과 학생의 B형 간염 예방현황 (Investigation of infection control in the private dental clinics and prevention of hepatitis B virus infection among the dental hygiene students)

  • Objectives: Dental personnels have high chances of exposure to various infections during many dental procedures. This study was performed to investigate the state of infection control in the private dental clinics and prevention state of hepatitis B virus infection among the dental hygiene students in Kwanju city, Korea. Methods: Questionnaires were obtained from 94 dental hygiene students who participated in dental practice in private dental clinics for more than five weeks. Results: 83.9% of dentists and 17.2% of dental hygienists routinely used the mask for treating all patients, 32.3% of dentists and 6.5% of dental hygienists routinely used the rubber gloves. The use of protective eyeware was much lower in each group. Disinfectant was used in 52.7% for sanitization of dental instruments before cleansing. The prevalence of HBsAg and anti-HBs were 3.8% and 67.1% respectively, 52.7% of dental hygiene students had history of accidental needle stick. Conclusion: Routine use of personal barrier techniques by dental personnels should be emphasized. Dental hygiene students were not properly immunized against hepatitis B virus and had high incidence of accidental needle stick. It is necessary to establish specific regulations or recommendations for cross infection control in dental practice and to performed scheduled vaccination program for hepatitis B virus for dental hygiene students.

Kano모델 기반의 인터넷 개인방송 서비스 만족도 영향요인 고찰 (Exploring the Factors Affecting Viewer Satisfaction on Internet Personal Broadcasting Based on the Kano Model)

  • This study aims to explore the Internet personal broadcasting quality factors that influence viewer satisfaction and dissatisfaction based on the motivation-hygiene theory. Specifically, the quality factors that affect viewer satisfaction of Internet personal broadcasting are derived from the perspectives of extrinsic (contents usefulness and media usability), intrinsic (emotional/cognitive/behavioral enjoyment and creator characteristics), and social motivation (visibility, subjective norm, image, sociality). The data of 200 respondents was used to analyze the relative impact of satisfaction and dissatisfaction with the Kano model, which assumes that viewer satisfaction at both functional and emotional levels varies over quality attributes. In the empirical analysis, the quality factors were classified into attractive, one-dimensional, must-be, and indifferent quality. In addition, it was found that the customer satisfaction coefficient was high in the order of uniqueness, differentiation, and visibility. On the other hand, as a result of applying the dissatisfaction coefficient, it was identified in the order of donation, content reliability, and creator responsiveness.

국내 주요 5성급 호텔의 위생실태 조사와 ATP 결과의 상관분석 평가 연구 (Correlation Analysis of Inspection Results and ATP Bioluminescence Assay for Verification of Hygiene Status at 5 Star Hotels in Korea)

  • 외식산업의 급속한 성장과 함께 호텔을 비롯한 외식업체에서는 식품안전 요구 및 위생에 대한 중요성 이 증가하고 있다. 이에 현장에서 위생상태를 판단할 수 있는 신속하고 실용적인 모니터링기법이 요구된다. 본 연구는 국내5성급 호텔 5군데를 대상으로 개인위생(작업자의 손), 조리기구(칼, 도마, 식품보관용기, 슬라이스 머신 칼날, 제빙기 스쿱), 시설·설비(냉장고 손잡이, 작업대, 싱크대), 고객 접점항목(뷔페용 집게)에 대한 위생관리 실태를 조사하였고 그에 대한 검증법인 ATP 값의 상관관계를 도출하고자 하였다. 5개 호텔의 위생관리 실태조사 결과, 다른 검사 항목보다 상대적으로 조리기구 및 개인위생 결과가 비교적 위생적으로 관리되고 있었으며(조리기구 92.2%, 개인위생 91.4%, 시설·설비 76.19%, 고객 접점항목 88.6%)으로 시설·설비는 비교적 미흡한 것으로 나타났다. ATP검사 결과, 조리 기구(51±45 RLU/25 ㎠)는 시설·설비(167±123 RLU/25 ㎠)보다 비교적 위생적으로 잘 관리되었다. 위생실태 조사 결과 점수와 ATP 값의 상관성 분석을 실시한 결과, 각 호텔 별 작업자 손, 조리기구, 시설·설비의 대부분 음의 상관관계를 가지며 높은 상관성(-0.64 - -0.89)을 보였다. 또한 이번 연구에서 각 검사 항목의 평소 상태의 ATP 값(1020±1254 RLU/25 ㎠)에 비해 세척 후 ATP 값(92±67 RLU/25 ㎠)이 현저히 감소되어 세척의 유효성을 확인하는 도구로 적합성을 확인할 수 있었다. 호텔을 비롯한 외식업체에서 수행하는 주관적인 위생실태조사와 ATP 검사법을 병행한다면, 실시간으로 보이지 않는 오염물질의 객관적인 수치화를 통해 식품사고 발생을 예방하기 위한 효과적인 모니터링 방법이 될 것으로 사료된다.

일부지역 치위생과 학생들의 학사학위 취득을 위한 학점은행제 요구도 조사 (A study on the needs of dental hygiene students in a region for the credit bank system for a bachelor's degree)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the needs of dental hygiene students at a lifelong education center of a three-year-course college for a credit bank system. The subjects in this study were 200 dental hygiene students at a college located in J, which offered courses of a credit bank system. A survey was conducted from May 19 to 23, 2008, to gather data on the acquisition of a bachelor's degree and the credit bank system, and the answer sheets from 184 respondents(92%) were collected. After the collected data were analyzed with SPSS/WIN 12.0 program, the following findings were given: 1. In regard to an intention of taking a bachelor's degree, the largest number of the students investigated(74.5%) intended to do that if they had any chance. As for the reason, 55.6% wanted to get the degree in pursuit of their own personal development. 2. Concerning how to win a bachelor's degree, the largest group that accounted for 63.0% preferred the credit bank systems of college lifelong education centers. 41.8% got interested in the credit bank system mainly because their acquaintances informed them of it. It shows that colleges should reinforce publicity activities if they want to offer the credit bank system. 3. The quality of educational programs and cost had an impact on the choice of an educational institution when they planned to get a bachelor's degree from the credit bank system. Therefore excellent educational programs should be provided, and the government should provide learners with economic help and fund educational institutions. 4. As to comparison of a regular college and the credit bank system as a way to get a bachelor's degree, that was considered to be helpful for finding a job(a mean of 3.39) and for the development of sociability(3.22). That was also deemed to be of use for the improvement of practical job performance, to win public recognition and to be helpful for being well-cultivated, though not many students had those opinions. They took a different view according to academic year(p<.05). 5. Regarding the expected effects of getting a degree from the credit bank system, the greatest group expected it to step up their personal development(3.85). The second largest group expected it to boost job efficacy(3.30), and the students whose academic year was higher had a better opinion. 6. As for future directions for the credit bank system, the largest group put emphasis on the improvement of social perception through intensive P.R. and the enhancement of the qualifications of professors and lecturers(4.02). These opinions were more stressed by the juniors than by the sophomores and seniors, and academic year made a significant difference to their views(p<.05).

치과위생사의 이직결정에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구 (The study on determinants for changing employment positions among dental hygienists)

  • Purpose: This study sought to identify factors associated with dental hygienists' decisions to leave one dental office and commence practice in another. In addition to, the reasons dental hygienists stay in the profession were investigated. Demographic descriptors, including education level, marital status and age, and employment setting were also examined. Methods: Currently practicing dental hygienists in Korea were surveyed from March to May 2003. Data were collected through a questionnaire. The survey collected information concerning the 461 respondents' personal characteristics and reasons associated with changing positions and staying. Data were analyzed using frequency distributions, independent t-tests and chi-square analyses. All statistical analyses were conducted using the Statistical Package for Social Scientists(SPSS v.10, Chicago, Illinois). Results: The primary reasons for taking up another employment were found to be better offer, inadequate salary and personal conflict with dentist. Secondary reasons stated for changing their job revealed additional factors including inadequate salary, better offer, and lack of benefits. The primary influence in deciding to remaining in the practice of dental hygiene was self-development. Family responsibility, safe environment and professional collaboration were also important factors in deciding to remain in workforce. Conclusion: The position changes of dental hygienists are primarily influenced by better offer. Inadequate salary and conflict with dentist were also important factors in deciding to change employment positions. The findings suggest that dental hygienists who remain in the workforce are positively influenced mainly by self-development. Employers of dental hygienists should be aware of these factors in employing process. If more hygienists could remain longer in their positions, the manpower situation would be affected positively.

치과의원에 근무하는 일부 치과위생사의 우울수준에 관한 연구 (A study on the degree of depression in dental hygienists)

  • Objectives : The degree of depression in dental hygienist was analyzed to reveal the various factors related to them. Methods : The self-administered questionnaires were filled out from 202 dental hygienist in Daejeon City. The survey items included subjects' socio-demographic and job-related characteristics, health-related behaviors, depression. Chi-Square analysis and Pearson's correlation coefficient was put into survey results, in which a degree of depression was dependent variable and others were independent variable. Results : 1. The distribution for depression degree has shown the rate as 80.2% in normal range group and 19.8% in depression group. 2. As for depression, long working hours(p=0.042), poor sense satisfaction in work(p=0.000), not fit to the job(p=0.003), low personal relation with peer works or supervisors(p=0.039), without alcohol drinking(p=0.048), poor subjective condition of health(p=0.000) than their respective counterparts. 3. Concerning correlation between depression and various factors, poor sense satisfaction in work(r=-0.332, p=0.000), not fit to the job(r=-0.353, p=0.000), low personal relation with peer works or supervisors(r=-0.215, p=0.002), without alcohol drinking(r=-0183, p=0.009), poor subjective condition of health(r=-0.333, p=0.000). Conclusions : These results showed that depression state could be influenced by various factors, which include socio-demographic, job-related characteristics and health-related behaviors. Therefore, in order to reduce depression state of dental hygienists, development and application of programs to manage and research for them are required to be revitalized as well as socio-demographic and job-related characteristics and health-related behaviors.

서울지역 학교급식 위생관리 수행수준 평가 (Assessment of Food Safety Management Performance for School Food Service in the Seoul Area)

  • Effective and systematic sanitation management programs are necessary to prevent foodborne disease outbreaks in school foodservice operations. The purpose of this study was to identify the elements to improve in order to ensure the safety of school food service by evaluating sanitation management practices implemented under HACCP-based programs. The survey was designed to assess the level of hygiene practices of school food service by using an inspection checklist of food hygiene and safety. Fifty-four school foodservice establishments considered as poor sanitation practice groups from two year inspections by Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education were surveyed from September to December in 2005. Inspection checklists consisted of seven categories with 50 checkpoints; facilities and equipment management, personal hygiene, ingredient control, process control, environmental sanitation management, HACCP system and safety management. Surveyed schools scored $68.0{\pm}12.42$ points out of 100 on average. The average score (% of compliance) of each field was 10.7/20 (53.3%) for facilities and equipment management, 7.4/11 (67.2%) for personal hygiene, 7.4/11 (74.1%) for ingredient control, 22.4/32 (69.8%) for process control, 8.9/12 (73.8%) for environmental sanitation management, 4.2/7 (59.7%) for HACCP systems management, and 7.2/8 (89.7%) for safety management, respectively. The field to be improved first was the sanitation control of facilities and equipment. The elements to improve this category were unprofessional consultation for kitchen layout, improper compartment of the kitchen area, lacks of pest control, inadequate water supply, poor ventilation system, and insufficient hand-washing facilities. To elevate the overall performance level of sanitation management, prerequisite programs prior to HACCP plan implementation should be stressed on the school officials, specifically principals, for the integration of the system.

치과위생사의 자기효능감과 직무만족이 조직몰입과 이직의도에 미치는 영향 (The effect of self-efficacy and job satisfaction of Dental Hygienists' on the organizational commitment and turnover intention)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study is to identify relationships between turnover intention and variable factors among dental hygienists. Methods : Each factor of validity and reliability were investigated using factor analysis and Cronbach's ${\alpha}$. The hypothesis of the data was proven and analyzed using the pearson correlation, regression analysis, and analysis of variance (ANOVA). Results : The independent variables were based on self-efficacy, the dependent variables were based on job satisfaction. The results of the regression analysis were that self-efficacy is as high as job satisfaction. Independent variables based on self-efficacy and job satisfaction. The dependent variable is organizational commitment multiple regression analysis was used. The results showed that self-efficacy and job satisfaction are as high as organizational commitment. Independent variables based on organizational commitment. The dependent variable is the turnover-intention. Simple regression analysis showed that organizational commitment is as low as turnover-intention. Self-efficacy, job satisfaction and organizational commitment are different depending on individual traits and personal characteristics. Self-efficacy has been shown to have a positive relationship with job experiences, public work and turnover intention. Organizational commitment is also related with job experiences. However, there was no significant difference between job satisfaction, turnover intention and personal characteristics. Conclusions : According to the factor analysis of turnover intention, self-efficacy, job satisfaction, organizational commitment and turnover intention were correlated to each other. Self-efficacy, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment has a negative association with turnover intention.
