대학생의 정서지능이 개인작인신념에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Emotional Intelligence on Undergraduate Students' Personal Agency Beliefs)

  • 본 연구는 대학생의 정서지능이 개인작인신념에 미치는 영향을 분석하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 수도권 소재 대학생 446명을 대상으로 정서지능과 개인작인신념에 대한 측정도구를 기준으로 설문조사 하여 빈도분석, t-test, 일원배치분산분석(One-Way ANOVA), 상관분석, 선형회귀분석 등을 수행하였다. 연구결과 성별에 따라 정서지능의 정서조절, 개인작인신념의 능력신념에서 유의미한 차이가 드러났다. 학교 수준에 따라 정서지능의 타인정서지각과 개인작인신념의 능력신념에서 유의미한 차이가 검증되었으며 종교유무에 따라 정서지능의 타인정서지각, 정서활용에서, 개인작인신념의 능력신념에서 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 또한 정서지능과 개인작인신념간의 상관이 높게 드러났다. 정서지능의 타인정서지각, 정서활용, 정서조절이 개인작인신념의 두 하위요인인 능력신념과 맥락신념 모두에 유의미한 영향을 미쳤으며 능력신념에는 47%, 맥락신념에 22%의 설명력을 보였다. 따라서 대학생의 진로발달에 맞는 진로선택의 과제를 잘 수행하기 위해 대학생의 정서지능과 개인작인신념을 높이는 다양한 동기향상 프로그램이 요구된다.

미국 예비 유아교사의 문화다양성 경험과 신념 및 문화반응적 교수효능감간의 관계 : 문화다양성 신념의 매개효과와 교사교육 단계간 다집단 분석 (The Relations among the Experiences and Beliefs of Cultural Diversity, and the Culturally Responsive Teaching Efficacy of American Early Childhood Preservice Teachers : Mediating Effect of the Beliefs and Multi-group Analysis of Teacher Education Stages)

  • 본 연구는 미국의 예비 유아교사를 대상으로 문화다양성 경험, 문화다양성 신념 및 문화반응적 교수효능감간의 구조적 관계를 분석하고 문화다양성 신념의 매개효과를 확인하며, 그러한 관계가 교사교육의 단계에 따라 차이가 있는지를 분석하는데 연구목적을 두었다. 연구대상은 미국 남서부 5개 대학의 K학년 교사 양성과정에 재학 중인 예비 유아교사 273명이었다. 문화다양성 경험은 Schroeder(2008), 문화다양성 신념은 Pohan과 Aguilar(2001), 문화반응적 교수효능감은 Siwatu(2007)의 연구에서 사용된 일부 문항들로써 측정되었다. 구조방정식모형분석을 한 결과, 직접효과로서 문화다양성 경험이 많을수록, 직업 신념 수준이 높을수록 문화반응적 교수효능감이 높아지고, 긍정적인 문화다양성의 경험이 많을수록 개인 신념의 수준이 높아지며, 개인 신념의 수준이 높을수록 직업 신념의 수준이 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 문화다양성 경험은 개인 신념을 매개로 직업 신념에 간접 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 다중집단분석 결과, 교사교육 단계에 따라서는 직업 신념과 교수효능감간 경로계수가 유의한 차이를 보였다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 예비 유아교사를 위한 교사교육에서의 방안들을 제언하였다.

대학생의 낭만적 신념이 결혼 동기에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Romantic Beliefs on Motivation of Marriage Among College Students)

  • This experiment was conducted in order to examine what consists of romantic beliefs of college students, the overall tendency of the beliefs and motivation of marriage, the differences in the belief and motivation of marriage, and the influence of the beliefs toward it. A survey method was used and 394 students participated in this study. The major results of this study were as follows: First of all, there are four components in students' romantic beliefs, which are almighty love, destined love, hopes for romantic love, and only one & true love. Second of all, the students somewhat showed high level of romantic beliefs. This resulted due to the high level of romantic love but low level of only one & true love. Moreover, their motivations toward marriage which consists of intimacy and economic needs, were seen as the most important values in determining marriage. However, marriage due to social impact and the needs for personal growth were found to be placed in the lowest. Thirdly, male students in particular, showed higher beliefs in almighty love and destined love. The students of religion reported higher beliefs in destined love and only one & true love. Moreover, students who have a partner also showed higher beliefs in almighty love and only one & true love. On the other hand, for motivation of marriage, students showed higher inclination to choose for the desire for large families and children as their motivations, particularly for males. Students in the lower age group also showed higher inclination to choose for intimacy and economic needs as their motivations. Finally, according to the result of the hierarchical regression analysis, the higher the students' beliefs for destined love and the lower it is for hopes for romantic love, predicted higher possibility for the social impact and the needs for personal growth as their motivation of marriage. Moreover, the higher the belief for destined love and hopes for romantic love, the higher it is of their inclination to consider intimacy and economic needs for their motivation of marriage. Lastly, the higher it is for the students' belief toward almighty love, the higher it is for one to marry with a consideration and desire for large families with children.

초등학교 교사의 자기주도 학습력과 과학 교수 효능감 및 기타 배경 변인들의 관계 (Relationships among Self-Directed Learning Ability, Science Teaching Efficacy Beliefs, and Other Background Variables of Elementary School Teachers)

  • In this study, the relationships among self-directed learning ability, science teaching efficacy beliefs (personal science teaching efficacy and science teaching outcome expectation), life satisfaction, job satisfaction, and other background variables of elementary school teachers were investigated. A survey was administered to 234 teachers from 25 elementary schools in Jeonju. It was found that self-directed learning ability of the teachers was significantly correlated with their personal science teaching efficacy, science teaching outcome expectation, life satisfaction, job satisfaction, and age. A stepwise multiple regression analysis revealed that personal science teaching efficacy, life satisfaction, science teaching outcome expectation, and age were the significant predictors on their self-directed learning ability.

친환경 아웃도어 웨어 제품 구매의도 결정요인 : 가치-신념-규범 이론을 중심으로 (Determinants of Eco-friendly Outdoor Wear Products Purchase Intention : Exploring Value-Belief-Norm Theory)

  • This study aims to investigate determinants that included personal values, pro-environmental beliefs, and proenvironmental norms for enhancing consumers' purchase intention of eco-friendly outdoor wear exploring Stern(2000)’s the value-belief-norm theory. A survey was conducted with females and males between the ages of 20 and 60 who have experienced buying outdoor wear products. A total of 300 responses were analyzed by descriptive analysis, factor analysis, a reliability test, an independent samples t-test, and regression analysis. The results of this study were as follows: 1) The results of exploratory factor analysis and reliability test on the personal value clearly showed factorial structures including the social power, ecologic value, openness, equality, and altruistic value. 2) There are significant differences in personal value sub-dimensions, pro-environmental beliefs, pro-environmental norm, and purchase intention of eco-friendly outdoor wear products according to respondents' gender and age. 3) Personal values, but not social power, affect pro-environmental beliefs; in turn, pro-environmental beliefs affect pro-environmental norms, which then affects purchase intentions of eco-friendly outdoor wear. The findings support the conclusion that there is significant causality among personal value such as ecologic, openness, equality, and altruistic, pro-environmental belief, and pro-environmental norm. This study suggests pragmatic implications to understand outdoor wear consumers' socio-psychological and demographic factors and to augment purchase intentions of eco-friendly outdoor wear products.

Rasch 모형을 활용한 수학 교수 효능감 측정 도구의 심리측정적 특성 분석 및 수정: 개인 효능감 요인을 중심으로 (A Psychometric Analysis and Revision of the Mathematics Teaching Efficacy Beliefs Instrument Using the Rasch Model: Focusing on Personal Teaching Efficacy)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 수학 교수 효능감 측정 도구(MTEBI)의 심리측정적 특성을 탐색하고 한국 초등 교사들에게 사용할 수 있게 측정 도구를 수정하는 것이다. 문헌 연구를 바탕으로 MTEBI 중 개인 효능감 요인만을 분석하였다. 299명의 초등 교사들의 설문자료를 Rasch 모형을 이용하여 일차원성 가정, 응답범주 적절성, 문항 난이도 적절성, 분리지수와 신뢰도 측면에서 분석하였다. 분석 결과 5점 범주로 된 13개 문항은 심리측정적 측면에서 몇 가지 문제가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서, 후속 분석에서 5점 범주 대신 4점 범주로 수정하였으며 5개의 문항을 삭제한 후 8문항을 사용해 심리측정적 특성을 재분석하였다. 그 결과, 수정된 측정 도구는 초등 교사들의 수학 교수에 대한 개인효능감을 타당성 있게 측정하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 제한점과 제언을 추가 논의하였다.

A Comparison of Chinese Secondary School Mathematics In- and Pre-service teachers' beliefs about Mathematics, Mathematics Teaching and Learning

  • A comparison of mathematics teachers' personal beliefs between in- and pre-service teachers for Chinese secondary schools (grades 7-12) about mathematics theories, teaching and learning has been studied. In-service teachers' beliefs are close to constructivist's aspect and pre-service teachers' beliefs are close to absolutist's views. Based on the results, we give some suggestions to both teacher education and in-service teachers' training.

대학생의 진로결정몰입과 전공만족의 관계에서 개인작인신념의 효과 (Effect of the Personal Agency Beliefs in the Relationship between the Commitment to a Career Choice and Major Satisfaction of College Student)

  • 본 연구는 대학생의 전공만족과 진로결정몰입에 있어 개인작인신념이 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 검증하고자 하였다. 연구를 수행하기 위해 서울, 경기 인천, 강원, 충청, 경상 지역에 소재한 4년제 국 공립 대학교 재학생 총 626명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 자료처리는 SPSSWIN19.0 프로그램을 이용하여 빈도분석, 신뢰도측정, 일원배치분산분석, 상관분석, 선형회귀분석, 조절적 중다회귀분석, 매개회귀분석 등을 실시하였다. 분석결과 전공에 대한 만족 수준이 높을수록 진로결정몰입 수준이 높은 것으로 나타났으며 전공만족도와 진로결정몰입의 관계에 있어 개인작인신념이 부분매개 또는 완전매개를 하는 것으로 나타났다.

  • This study investigated the effect of the 'Chemistry in everyday life' course for 234 pre-service elementary teachers on their beliefs regarding science teaching efficacy and the nature of science. This study also examined the effect of this particular course by their field (natural science, humanities & social science, and fine arts). The results show that after the semester the pre-service teachers' science teaching efficacy beliefs were enhanced. In particular, their personal science teaching efficacy beliefs were improved across all fields. However, their beliefs regarding the nature of science remained largely unchanged. This study discussed the implications surrounding science courses for pre-service teachers.

의과대학/의학전문대학원 학생들의 학습에 대한 신념 (Medical Students' General Beliefs about Their Learning)

  • Learning in medical school is usually regarded as a very specialized type of learning compared to that of other academic disciplines. Medical students might have general beliefs about their own learning. Beliefs about learning have a critical effect on learning behavior. There are several factors that affect medical students' learning behavior: epistemological beliefs, learning styles, learning strategies, and learning beliefs. Several studies have addressed epistemological beliefs, learning styles, and learning strategies in medical education. There are, however, few studies that have reported on medical students' beliefs about learning. The purpose of this study was to determine what learning beliefs medical students have, what the causes of these beliefs are, and how medical educators teach students who have such beliefs. In this study, the five learning beliefs are assumed and we considered how these beliefs can affect students' learning behaviors. They include: 1) medical students are expected to learn a large amount of information in a short time. 2) memorization is more important than understanding to survive in medical schools. 3) learning is a competition and work is independent, rather than collaborative. 4) reading textbooks is a heavy burden in medical education. 5) the most effective teaching and learning method is the lecture. These learning beliefs might be the results of various hidden curricula, shared experiences of the former and the present students as a group, and personal experience. Some learning beliefs may negatively affect students' learning. In conclusion, the implications of medical students' learning beliefs are significant and indicate that students and educators can benefit from opportunities that make students' beliefs about learning more conscious.
