  • In this paper, we suggest Location Recognition System using Sensor Network; it distinguishes locations. Furthermore, this paper proposes Intelligent Navigation System which presents the proper route for the user. INS evaluates the user's preference, tendency and environmental state using Sensor Network Module and current driving information. This system also uses Soft-computing method to learn and infer the person’s preference and tendency. This paper defines Intelligent Assistance Module (IAM) which is a connector in between a user and a robot; it is portable. All in all, we created a basic intelligent robot, Location Recognition System, and Environment Sensor Modules; we verified the proposed algorithm through computer simulations.

The Effect of Personal trait on Perceived Value and Recommendation Intention : Focus on one-person media contents (개인성향에 따른 1인 미디어 콘텐츠의 가치 지각 및 추천의도에 미치는 영향)

  • As the popularity of single-person media content increases, We investigated the causal relationship between perceived value and intention to recommend to others. Individuality was studied on the tendency to sensation seeking and novelty seeking, which is a tendency to take boredom sensitive to monotonous and repetitive daily routines, and novelty seeking refers to new information and stimuli. The hypothesis was that high sensation seeking and high novelty seeking would perceived emotional value, epistemic value, and economic value for a single person 's media content. Hypothesis testing was performed using multiple regression analysis using SPSS21. As a result of the hypothesis test, The novelty seeking has a positive effect on emotional value, epistemic value, and economic value. Users who want to explore and enjoy new things could perceived the emotional value of having fun, fun, and sadness through single-person content, perceived a epistemic value and enjoy new information and situations as a tool to recognize new stimuli and know what they didn't know. And it could be seen that users perceive the economic value that they can enjoy at low cost or free service. The sensation seeking has a significant effect on epistemic value, but it did not affect emotional value and economic value significantly. Those who have a high tendency to sensation seeking can perceive curiosity about one-person media contents, so that they can perceive epistemic value. However, those who feel that they have not significant influence on economic value and emotional value can easily understand that expecting one's content does not feel bored by paying for a low cost or free service.

  • Based on the third-person effect hypothesis, this study conducted a nation-wide online survey to assess how Korean voters perceived the mass media's effect on the candidates' image and voting behavior during the 17th presidential election. The research results showed that the voters tended to perceive that the mass media such as newspaper, television and the Internet had a greater effect on others than on themselves with regards to the formation of the three candidates' images. The third-person effect on the voting behavior was also revealed differently in terms of the medium according to age and political tendency of the voters. For instance, the younger and liberal voters were likely to see newspaper as having a greater influence on other voters' choice of candidate, while the older voters saw TV as having a greater effect on other voters. The conservative tendency did not affect the perception of the voters at all. Another noteworthy result was that personal characteristics of the candidates' images such as appearances and communication skills did not affect the voters' behaviors in the election process.

  • Clothes are a kind of silent language that tells someone who has in wear and has great influence on person perception and impression formation. Present paper aims, therefore, to investigate the tendency of its study to offer information that my assist future studies. Doctorial dissertations, master\`s theses and journal articles related with clothing and textiles in domestic are categorized according to period and subject. Analysed results are as follows: First, as for the periodic vicissitude, the number of study on impression formation was before 1990, but tend to increase in 1990\`s. Second, as for the subject, while the studies focused on impression formation wearer on the first half of 1990\`s, they were segmented and presented wearer\`s form and appearance in detail ; computer simulation was also made use of in various papers. In conclusion, impression formation seems to become a rather important subject for further study.

Distribution of Personal Income on Donating Behavior: Application of Theory of Planned Behaviors

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explain the application of TPB and personal happiness on donation behavior and willingness to donate. Research design, data, and methodology: The population of this research is people in Indonesia who have a tendency in its culture to donate. The sample size used was 245 people with a purposive sampling method. The analysis technique used is Path Analysis using SEM-PLS. Result: The results show that the subjective norm had appositive and significant effect on attitude to donate; subjective norm has appositive and significant effect on the donation behavior. Personal happiness has a positive and significant effect on attitude to donate, and personal happiness also has a positive and significant effect on the donation behavior, and the donation behavior has a positive and significant effect on the attitude to donate. Conclusions: Being a responsible person to other people's conditions, as you see other people needing help, you will feel that you have the power to help them. you are often helping people in need, which concludes you are a compassionate person.

  • The purpose of this study were : 1) to examine the apparel product purchasing tendency of PC communication and internet users in home shopping 2) to analyze the difference of apparel product purchasing tendency accordint to consumer factors. The data was administered to 160 subjects who had communicated the PC communication and internet. And the data was collected from May through August in 1998. SPSS package was used for analysis and the following methods such as Means Percentage Frequencies Factor analysis Crosstabulation analysis t-test and one-way ANOVA, The results of this study were as follows : 1) The users of PC communication and internet were young and high-education level and a metropolitan area dwellers. They received a purchase offer through catalog PC communication and internet cable TV and paid out credit card Experience to purchasing apparel product of home shopping was very low but intention to purchasing was relative high. item that consumer wanted to buy using home shopping were casual clothing and fashion goods which were not important to fit and without regard to style. 2) Between purchasing apparel product of home shopping and mainly consideration factors were shown to have the significant differences according to age residential quarters whether or not marriage. income level. A metropolitan area dwellers the low-age unmarried and the low-income groups thought much of convenience shopping time and effort's saving. A person of the higher-income and the married thought much of the facility of an exchange or returned goods. A region dwellers were to purchase a speciality product or gift goods. 3) Between purchasing apparel product of home shopping and satisfaction degree were shown to have significant differences according to sex whether or not marriage education level an occupation. The woman than the man was satisfied with the benefit of the shopping time and effort's saving. And the unmarried than the married was satisfied with the benefit of the home shopping's convenience. The higher-education level than the lower-education level was satisfied with the quality guarantee of the product.

Mental Health, Stress, Coping Ability, and Coping Strategies among College Students (대학생의 정신건강수준과 스트레스, 대처능력 및 대처방식)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between mental health status, stress, coping ability, and coping strategies of college students. Methods: The questionnaires were handed out to 162 college students in the Gyeonggi province. Data was collected using the Symptom Checklist-90-Revised (SCL-90-R) scale of the 90 items, the 'Person in the Rain' drawing test, and the 20-item coping strategies questions. Results: 17.3% of the respondents were belonged to the groups of abnormal or abnormal tendency in the mental health status according to the Global Severity Index (GSI) scores. The clinical/border groups were more commonly used in the 'emotion-focused' coping strategies compared to the normal group. This difference was also statistically significant. Both coping resource and coping ability were significantly associated with the mental health status. Conclusions: These findings suggest that future intervention for effective coping strategies should be carefully designed to promote better mental health among college students. It is also important to detect problematic and weak student's behaviors in the early stages.

  • In this study, using the raw data of the 7th Food Consumption Behavior Survey(2019), compare and analyze what factors affect the food delivery service and take-out food expenditure of single-person and multi-person households. It was found that women(especially women in single-person households), have a high tendency to pursue safety preference versus price. In the future, Korea's population structure is expected to steadily increase single-person household and elderly households, and women's participation in economic activities is expected to continue to increase. In addition, the food delivery market has more than doubled compared to the previous year in 12 cities and provinces out of 17 cities and provinces nationwide with Covid-19, especially in the non-capital area, making it has become a universal service nationwide. Therefore, the growing home meal replacement market needs marketing strategies to secure and emphasize food safety.

A Study on the Effects to the Communication Capability and the Accommodation of other person's Perspective for the Self Understanding, the Self Accommodation and the Self Communication -Centered on the University Students in Gungji-do and Seoul- (자기이해, 자기수용, 자기표현이 타인관점수용과 의사소통역량에 미치는 영향 연구 -서울, 경기도의 한국 대학생을 중심으로-)

  • The purpose of this study intends that the contemporary university students would understand the importance and relationship of the Self-Expression as its appropriateness, the Self-Understanding and the Self-Accommodation as it is, and that it would conducive to enhance their Communication Capability and Accommodation to other's perspective on the base of these understandings. In accordance with the analyses of questioners and statistics as a methodology of this study, the tendency of the factors effective to the enhancement for the Communication Capability and the Accommodation to other's perspective will be found out and the meaning of the Self-Expression, the Self-Accommodation and the Self-Understanding will be analyzed by the standpoint of the enhancement of the Self-Competency. The result of this study reveals that a high distributed group for the Definitization of the Self-Conception is to have more the Self-Expression and the Self-Accommodation. As an enlightenment from this study, the Self-Expression and the Self-Accommodation shall have a mutual reliance and be influenced to the Accommodation of Other Person's Perspective. In case of the high distribution of the Self-Accommodation, where there is the both of the low distribution of the Self-Expression and the Self-Accommodation, the Accommodation of Other Person's Perspective is high. However, if there is the higher of the Self-Expression and the Self-Accommodation, there influences the better enhancement of the Communication-Capability, and there no effect to their mutual reliance. This study enlightens when it becomes at the stage of the Self-Accommodation, a respectable listening from others makes to accommodate other as it is and when it is wanted to raise the Communication Capability, it is required to improve the capability through the Self-Expression together with the Self-Accommodation.

Voice and Image: A Pilot Study (음성과 인상의 관계규명을 위한 실험적 연구)

  • When we hear someone's voice, even without having met the person before, we usually make up a certain mental image of the person. This study aims at investigating the relationship between the voice and the image information carried within the voice. Does the mental picture created by the voice closely reflect the real image and if not, is it related with the real image at all\ulcorner To answer the first question, a perception experiment was carried out. Speech samples reading a short sentence from 8 males and 8 females were recorded and pictures of subjects were also taken. Ajou University students were asked to participate in the experiment to match the voice with the corresponding picture. Participants in the experiment correctly match 1 female voice and 4 male voices with their corresponding pictures. However, it is interesting to note that even in cases of mismatch, the results show that there is a very strong tendency. In other words, even though participants falsely match a certain voice with a certain picture, majority of them chose the same picture for the voice. It is the case for all mismatches. It seems that voice does give the listener a certain impression about physical characteristics even if it might not be always correct. By showing that there is a clear relationship between voice and image, this study provides a starting point for further research on voice characteristics: what characteristics of the voice carry the relevant information\ulcorner This kind of study will contribute toward the understanding of the affective domain of human voice and toward the speech technology.
