  • The TCMI(Three-Compartment Model for iodine) computer code has been developed, which is based on the three-compartment model and the respiratory model recommended in ICRP publication 54. This code is able to evaluate the thyroid burden, dose equivalent, committed dose equivalent and urinary excretion rate as time-dependent functions from the input data: working time and the radioiodine concentration in air. Using the TCMI code, the time-dependent thyroid burdens, the thyroid doses and the urinary excretion rates were calculated for three specific exposure patterns : acute, chronic and periodic. Applicability as an internal dose evaluation method has been assessed by comparing the results with some operational experiences. Simple equations and tables are provided to be used in the evaluation of the thyroid burden and the resulting doses for given I-131 concentration in air and the working time.

  • PST stands for the Premium Sales Tool for Product Consulting is customized product catalog system. In other words, the product classification categories of content for consulting and sales to customers by providing useful information for the maximization of an overall system. These problems with mobility and flexibility of updating the solution to integrate mobile with mobile devices, but high-performance high-resolutions era content data continuously, but still it is difficult to handle. In this paper, to solve this problem, depending on the user's gesture by allowing periodic allocation and release of a problem for load generation enhanced by improving the PST system has been designed and implemented. Implementation was a result of the test the performance of the system, that PA system that has been provided by the traditional DA system show the allocation and the average 78% of the rate of decrease the load is released in the frequency of page, CPU utilization was reduced an average 72% I was confirmed.

  • In this paper, we present a hardware architecture and a sofrware architecture for cimputer based teleconferencing systems. And also we analyse stream adtivation mechanisms for them form the viewpoint of delay. MuX that is a multimedia I/O server provides various processing elements for data I/O, synchronization, interleaving and mixing. We describe methods to build teleconferencing systems with the elements and compares the technique using master click with the techniquie using self clock. In the plase of dta input.the technique using self click is berrer than the technique using master clock. When we generate interleved stream from audio and video stream and activate channel objects by periodic audio stream as activation clock, dealy from imput audio stream to imterleved stream is reduced but delay for video stream is not reduced as much as in the case of audio stream.

  • For content-based audio retrieval which is one of main functions in audio service, the techniques for extracting fingerprints from the audio source, storing and indexing them in a database are widely used. However, if the fingerprints of new audio sources are continually inserted into the database, there is a problem that space efficiency as well as audio retrieval performance are gradually deteriorated. Therefore, there is a need for techniques to support efficient expansion of audio database without periodic reorganization of the database that would increase the system operation cost. In this paper, we design a content-based audio retrieval system that solves this problem by using MapReduce and NoSQL database in a cluster computing environment based on the Shazam's fingerprinting algorithm, and evaluate its performance through a detailed set of experiments using real world audio data.

  • This paper presents a novel mobile measurement system with multi antennas which enable mobile measurement as well as fixed measurement with telescope mast. Proposed system installed 4 omni directional antennas for the space diversity process and one directional log periodic antenna for the simultaneous conventional fixed measurement. Whole antenna systems are connected to the custom DTV channel analyzers with Ethernet networks respectively and processed by the main controller to calculate real time average receive levels. To prove the performance of proposed system, the typical receive models are categorized as 3 area types - open area, building area and house area, and then intensive field tests were performed through mobile and fixed measurement phases. With these measurement data, the relationships between mobile and fixed measurement are analyzed, and the concept of compensation factor is proposed to assume the average receive level of signal. The field test is fulfilled as a co-work with public broadcasters and the proposed system is applied to the intensive coverage measurement projects for metropolitan areas by the korean government agencies.

  • This study was attempted to identify the differences of mental health and media use according to the addiction of communication media. Data collection was surveyed using interview and questionnaires by 250 subjects from March 12 to May 13, 2012. The results were as follows : First, with regard to mobile phone use time for communication in the use of over 2 hrs, subjects replied that addictive group was significantly higher than non-addictive group($X^2$=8.51, p=.00). Secondly, in case often depression, the risk ratio of addictive group was significantly higher 4.0 times than non-addictive group(OR=4.0, 95%, Cl=2.4-36.9). In conclusion, in order to prevent the addictive use of communication media, it is needed to make various environment such as sound life rhythm maintenance, systemic and periodic education.

  • In this paper, a system for real-time or periodic measurement and analysis of RF parameters such as forward transmit power and pilot power in CDMA base station systems is proposed. Such RF characteristic parameter measurement can be prevented from system fault and used to achieve optimal service quality and maximum investment return through cell coverage expansion, subscriber capacity increase and so on. For forward power measurement, the local oscillator frequency for the detector is varied so that the transmit power for all channels can be measured. The channel power measurement can be used to analyze the variation in transmit power for changes in voice traffic. By comparing to forward $E_c/I_o$, the pilot channel power can be deducted, which can be used to determine uy degradation in transmit section modules such as the high dover amplifier. Since an accurate analysis of carefully measured data using the CDMA level detector must be made, the system is designed so that measurement errors due to changes in crest factor with modulation method can be overcome.

  • The periodic safety review of operational nuclear power plants requires that the plants should keep a well organized environmental monitoring program. The past records of environment monitoring data were analyzed. and the tritium concentrations of the samples in the surface and ground water around Kori site were measured. It was shown that the tritium concentrations around the Kori site were slightly higher than that of natural background. The change of background tritium concentration was estimated through a numerical modeling. Two different versions of 7 compartments model - the world and the northern hemisphere - defined in NCRP-62 were modeled for the global tritium cycling. The numerical solution of the model was obtained using a computer program, AMBER. The four cases of tritium source-terms into the atmosphere were considered. The results showed that the tritium concentration in the surface soil water was higher than that in sea water or surface stream water. Also, it was shown that the tritium produced by the interaction between cosmic rays and the gases were the major source of tritium, and the tritium produced by nuclear weapon test decreased considerably.

  • This paper presents, a deinterlacing method by improving the Direction-Oriented Interpolation (DOI) technique. The technique is considered to be a very strong tool for intrafield-based deinterlacing. However, DOI has some problems such as long processing time, wrong edge detection in periodic pattern. To remedy this problem, we replace the full search in DOI by a two-step search to reduce processing time and introduces two additional processes to improve image quality. In the proposed method, the spatial direction vectors (SDVs) misread data are reconsidered to prevent them utilizing in the next interpolation step, resulting in an accurate deinterlacing method. We conduct experiments with ISO experimental images to compare the proposed method with the existing methods including line evarage (LA), edge-based line averaging (ELA), DOI, selective deinterlacing algorithm (SDA). Experimental results show the proposed method gives better performance in objective and subjective quality than existing deinterlacing methods.

  • Objective: This study examined the changes in the clustering of metabolic syndrome, and examined the distribution of a combination of clustering. Methods: The study was performed with the data from the same 1,900 people who had a medical checkup at a health clinic twice from 2009 to 2013. The subjects were divided into two groups of metabolic syndrome and non-metabolic syndrome (normal group) and examined according to the periodic changes. The related factors were examined with a cohort study. Results: The order affecting the prevalence of metabolic syndrome by the combination of metabolic syndrome constituent factors was two combinations (TG+HDL), three combinations (WC+TG+HDL), and four combination (WC+TG+HDL+BP). Conclusions: To manage these factors, public health programs will be needed and the methods to prevent metabolic syndrome should be promoted. In addition, more study on the risk factors of metabolic syndrome will be needed.
