A site-specific performance is a genre and a phenomenon that has recently emerged as a recent paradigm of performing arts: a communality. It involves the performativity of the audience and has various phenomena of contemporary performing art. This study aims to figure out methods of performativity. "Lost Missing and Forgotten," which is a collaboration from Finland and Korea created in 2012 and "Trailer," which is held in Copenhagen Denmark in 2010 by Kitt Johnson. Three principles of performativity which have borrowed as critical tools for this study are role reversal, community building, and contact, which based on "The Aesthetics of Performativity," written by Erika Fischer-Lichte in 2017. The study results show that performativity in the vertical structure and horizontal structure of site-specific performance can act as an environmental factor through the audience's body. Additionally, it turned out that role reversal principle was transformation audience to a creator; community building principle led to an interest in neighbors. Lastly, the contact principle was one of the methods to watch the performance.

In this paper, I focus on the performativity thesis introduced and developed by Science and Technology Studies (STS) scholars such as Callon, MacKenzie, etc. since the mid 1990s. The performativity thesis was discussed in economic sociology by STS scholars has been pervaded to other research areas including general economics, accounting, finance and so on. The main idea of the thesis is that economic theories perform, shape, and format economy rather than just describe economy. I show that the thesis is based on the traditional STS ideas such as performativity derived from Merton's self-fulfilling prophecy and the actor-network theory. Although the thesis has been criticised by various researchers from both inside and outside STS, it has provided meaningful implications for understanding economic phenomenon from a viewpoint of STS. Furthermore, reflexive researches for performativity of STS theories can be discussed in the next stage.

This paper aims to examine the performativity of street politics through Suffragette. The movie exposes the bloody violence of Britain government and shows the militant suffragettes and their resistance against it. It also deals with history and 'story'of labor class suffragettes for political rights. The paper shows how the movie is re-born as an indexical art and the street politics makes the plural performativity. Most of all, it reads the difference between the government's violence wielded as a power to suppress the suffragettes and bring them to their knees, and the suffragettes's violence having the resistant and emancipated revolution. We can realize that the suffragettes used the mode of visibility to expose its incompetence and make their emancipated violence into the indexical force. And we can see the variations of street politics from the acts of Davison, Maud, and Violet.

This study is to make a framework of newly interpretating the dynamic change of regional or local landscape rapidly occurred after the establishment of the nation state and capitalistic system. The basic concepts of making an interpretative framework are power, subjectivity, and performativity. The framework of closely interrelating the three concepts developed in the near future will be applied to the interpretation of variety of (de)centralized landscapes in regions or locals. A centralized political power under the nation state has destroyed or marginalized the historically developed landscapes, traditional culture, and subjects' values in regions or locals by the political implementation of the nation state, the establishment of national identity, a centralized economic development, and so on. The landscapes produced by the political power of the nation state can take a role as a cause of conflicts in regions or locals in terms of a historical perspective. Landscapes are being made by various subjects, and the produced landscapes also positively or negatively will influence the emotion, cognition, and behavior of the subjects particularly in a performative perspective. The dynamics interrelation between subjects and landscapes has been disguised or marginalized by reason/rationality, totality/collectivity, the separation between reason and emotion mainly made by modernism, the nation state, a capitalistic system. The interrelation between landscapes and subjects is especially emphasized on people's resistibility and creativity. Lastly, landscape is not a concept given as a priori or (re)presented objectively. It is not also a material or an object independently existed from a subject's emotion and cognition. It should be interpreted through a performative relation with subjects. Performativity will take an active role of combining the materiality of landscape, power, and subjectivity. It is also important to understand the active role of landscapes.

On the website r/NYYankees, a sub-forum ("subreddit") of Reddit is devoted to the Major League Baseball team New York Yankees, with its predominantly male users showing their appreciation for baseball heroes by expressing erotic desires towards the players. When a player performs well, the subreddit is filled with admiration of desires to become the player's intimate lover-explicitly expressed by "male" fans. This paper explains the phenomenon of young male fans' desire for the now-lost model of traditional masculinity of domination and control, displayed in the context of baseball players' dominant performances. The discrepancy between a fan's non-homosexual real-world self and his homoerotic language on the subreddit is explained using the "performative fandom" theory, developed by Osborne and Coombs borrowing Butler's notion of performativity. This paper suggests how this desire for traditional masculinity serves as recognition to the collapse of masculinity in the modern American society.

The music videos of BTS go beyond the limit of media promoting music and shows their meaning in various ways and complete the visual message of music through fashion style. BTS' fashion style in the music videos shows a change in symbolic representation of the genre of each album and song, of which gender images are changing aligned with the music messages of BTS. The purpose of this study was to derive gender images of fashion style in BTS music videos and to interpret their meaning based on Judith Butler's theory that performativity creates discourse through iterative process. It is conducted as a research method, an analytical study was conducted in parallel with literature studies and empirical case analysis. The scope of the study was limited to 301 costumes that appeared in 21 official music videos from debut single album '2Cool 4 Skool' released in 2013 to the mini album 'Map of the Soul: Persona' released in 2019. As a result of the analysis, the controversial fashion style, challenging fashion style, boyish fashion style, hybrid fashion style, the playful fashion style were revealed. The conclusion of studying the gender image of BTS, interpreted by this analysis using Judith Butler's theory, is as follows. The gender image of BTS is the traditional image that identifies with the dominant gender discourse, the resistive gender image that intentionally distances mainstream culture, the eclectic image parodying the gender of the opposing term, and the deconstructive image that transcends the dominant gender discourse.

A visual novel, a type of digital content combining novel and game, was designed as hypermedia which includes various media, for instance, image, sound, and video. The narrative of visual novel contains multimedia elements and highlights multi-scenario structures based on hypertext. Prior to creating visual novel scenario, a writer should thoroughly consider two main points. First of all, the scenario should cover the multimedia features of visual novel. Secondly, the scenario should be structured as a multi-scenario providing with performativity to players for interaction with readers. This study examines the influence of changes in platforms on visual novel scenario adjusted to mobile environment. It would provide an opportunity to understand how storytelling changes and adapts to rapid transformation of digital media contents.

The most prominent phenomenon in performing arts in recent is the social sharing of art products. As a result of the city's reinterpretation of each local government, production of performances, activation of performances outside the theater, and performances performed in streets and specific spaces and public spaces deviate from traditional theater-based performance forms through social communication and expansion. Also, it is seen as an effort to expand the delinquency of the act. Furthermore, it can be said that this proves the publicity of contemporary performing arts. I will research the audience and learners through the Opera Estate festival, a recent exhibition in the Balsano del Grappa, Italy, which is based on the site-specific performance form that has been actively conducted several years ago.

Among Filipino entertainers in Japan, trans women (transgender women) or transpinay (Filipino trans woman) entertainers remain understudied compared to cisgender women. Though the number of entertainers has declined, transpinay entertainers remain relevant as transgender issues continue to be salient globally. This study explains the gendered experiences of the transpinay migrants, particularly in entertainment work and their relationships, which are different from cisgender Filipino women entertainers' experiences. Using grounded theory and drawing on concepts of performativity in interactions to analyze the narratives of transpinay entertainers, I delve into how transpinay entertainers negotiate their gender and migrant identities as they establish professional and personal relationships. Moreover, the transpinays' entertainment work is a significant contributing factor to their sense of belonging in Japan, as they form relationships with colleagues, clients, and partners who support them and, thereby, sustain their lifestyles as trans women. The transpinay entertainers' flows of migration between Japan and the Philippines reveal that they embrace various aspects of social remittances and use them to their advantage to create and enhance their transpinay identity in Japan. By examining the transpinays' migrant experiences, this study aims to elucidate the gendered experiences of transpinay entertainers, which involve significant negotiations in their migration pathways notably different from cisgender Filipino women entertainers, reveal resilience.

This study was conducted to identify the factors related between clinical health management and laparoscopy-aided gastrectomy patients. Data were surveyed using interview and questionnaires by 201 patients who visited the surgical department of a general hospital which was located in Metropolitan area from January 16 to February 16, 2012. As a result of study, first, the degree of performativity was significantly positively correlated with efficiency(r=0.24, p<.01). Secondly, the explanatory power of the model in clinical health management was to 42.7% by selected variables. Thirdly, multiple regression analysis results showed that efficiency was investigated the most influential and significant factor to affect the degree of health management practices with 0.25(p=.02). In conclusion, in order to improve the health management level of laparoscopy-aided gastrectomy patients, it needs to develop and apply a comprehensive education program including the personal characteristics of performativity, self-achievement, and perceived barriers.
