  • Recently, polymer mortar has been developed not only more improving the performance of modified mortar with polymer, but also protecting and repairing materials of structures, especially in marine environment because of their excellent performance to improve compressive strength, flexural strength, and adhesive strength. however, in fact, these rehabilitation techniques in marine environment, which consist of removing delaminated areas of concrete, cleaning affected steel and patching with polymer mortar, have proven to be ineffective for marine structures. Also, repairs are often repeated every several years. Therefore, it is neccessary to research performance evalution of chloride ion penetration of polymar mortar for section restoration.

운전자의 가속타입이 MPI 가솔린엔진의 과도성능에 미치는 영향 (Effect on Transient Performance of Driver's Acceleration Type in MPI Gasoline Engine)

  • To provide the appropriate direction for development of transient control in a gasoline engine, transient performance analysis and evalution under four accelerating types based on typical driver's acceleration type were implemented by experimental study. In order to evaluate the characteristics of transient performance quanititatively, the concept and method by transient response specifications were introduced. Several performance parameters in terms of engine speed(RPM), manifold absolute pressure(MAP), fuel injection duration($\DeltatI_{nj}$) and air excess ratio($\lambda$) were emasured simultaneously during the four types of the throttle valve opening with the step motor controlled by PC. The result showed that transient response specifications in terms of delay time, rising time and settling time characterized the transient performance for four acceleration types quantitatively. Intensified acceleration type was most economical and linear acceleration type revealed the best emission performance.

  • At present, European railways in U.K., Sweden, and Belgium have taken serious efforts to improve railway services by implementing a service evaluation system. Not only do they measure the service-related performance of a railway system, but also operate an incentive system according to the results of service-related performance. This performance evaluation system can be also used to provide basic data for other policies such as fares, subsidies and track user charges etc. After the restructuring process of Korean national railways, therefore, although it is expected to face many difficulties in the future, it is desirable to implement a performance evaluation system for securing the long-term growth of Korean railway industry.

  • A fuzzy logic controller (FLC) has been widely used for many applications in recent years. But the relationship between control performance and design parameters has not been handled explicity in the conventional theory of fuzzy logic control. In this paper, based on the similarity between an FLC and a variable structure control (VSC) theory, a performance evaluation of an FLC, which gives quantitative accounts on the relationship is presented. The validity of the analysis is verified through extensive computer simulations.

원전 습분분리재열기 튜브 번들 교체를 위한 열전달 고찰 (Heat Transfer Study to Replace a Tube Bundle of Moisture Separator Reheater at Nuclear Power Plant)

  • The plugging rate of reheater tubes of Wolsung unit 1 nuclear power plant has been increased by corrosion and erosion since 1990. As the dimensions of the new first stage reheater bundle tubes which were supplied by Hanjung company to replace were different from old one, numerical calculations are carried out for flow and heat transfer in the reheater bundle tubes of the N.P.P. Numerical calculations consists of thermal performance, drain line pressure drop, flow change by pressure drop of line, stress analysis of finned tubes and analysis of flow induced vibration. Computational analysis using heat transfer research institute program is adopted to verify the results of the numerical calculations. It contains the evalution of performance in the system with view to location of the new reheater bundle and it shows the differences between the numerical calculation results and heat transfer research institute program output.

유연 관절 매니퓰레이터의 자기 구성 퍼지 제어 (Self-Organizing Fuzzy Control of a Flexible Joint Manipulator)

  • The position control of flexible joint manipulator is investigated by applying the self-organizing fuzzy logic controller (SOC) proposed by Procyk and Mamdani. The SOC is a heuristic rule-based controller and a further extension of an ordinary fuzzy controller, which has a hierachy structrue which consists of an algorithm being identical to a fuzzy controller at the lower ollp and a learning algorithm accomodating the performance evalution and rule modification function at the upper ollp. This form of control can be used in those complex systems which have been too difficult to control or which in the past have had to rely on the experience of a human operator. Even though the significant dynamic coupling of the motors and links on the flexible joint manipulator, the performance of command-following is good by applying the proposed SOC.

  • 최근의 철근콘크리트 교량의 부식과 노후화에 대한 관심이 많다. 콘크리트 안의 부식되어진 철근은 교량구조의 안전뿐만 아니라 철근콘크리트 부재의 휨강도에도 영향을 준다. 기존의 성능평가를 고려한 철근콘크리트속의 부식율 및 휨강도 특성 경제성 분석은 명확하지 많았다. 본 연구의 목적은 철근의 부식감소에 따라서 철근콘크리트 교량의 저항강도기능과 생애주기비용을 연구하고자 한다 따라서 현재의 부식 및 휨강도 산출공식을 제시하고 부식된 철근 콘크리트 교량의 잔여수명을 정확히 평가하고자 한다.

  • 강구조 초고층건축물의 실용성을 높이기 위하여 내화성능이 우수하며 일반적인 합성보와 비교하여 층고절감이 가능하며 평면의 자유로운 변경과 공장생산에 의한 시공 품질관리가 가능한 새로운 공법개발이 시급하다고 판단된다. 따라서 기존 슬림플로어시스템의 문제점을 보완시킨 반슬림플로어를 적용한 합성보의 구조성능실험을 하였고, 이에 콘크리트와의 일체성 확보 및 휨에 대한 구조적 성능 등에 관한 연구를 수행하였다. 본 연구는 반슬림플로어시스템을 적용한 합성보의 휨거동을 평가하기 위한 것이다. 실험은 슬래브지지보의 구 조형식, 슬래브두께, 개구부의 설치 여부, 전단연결재의 유무를 변수로 하여 총 5개의 반슬림합성보에 대한 단순지지 휨실험을 수행하였다. 실험 결과 모든 실험체가 연성적인 거동을 보였다.

  • 2002년 Chopra에 의해서 Modal Pushover Analysis가 소개된 이후로, 성능기반내진설계법은 믿을수 있는, 새로운 형식의 내진설계법으로 관심을 받고 있다. 이 방법은 건축물 설계에 적용하는 연구는 많이 진행되었으나, 교량구조물의 경우, 1차모드가 지배적이지 않은 구조물의 특성상 이용에 제약이 있었다. 본 논문은 이런상황을 고려하여, 사장교에 성능기반내진설계법을 제안, 사용성에 대하여 작성하였다.
