This research intended to analyse the perception level of seafarers in order to propose enhancement of health management for seafarers and improvement of marine telemedicine assistance system. To this end, questionnaire survey was conducted for 422 seafarers in relation to current status of utilizing Emergency Medical Advice by radio(EMAR). By trading area, experience of benefiting EMAR by coastal seafarers was higher than that of ocean-going seafarers. By kinds of ships the rate of utilizing EMAR by fisherman was higher than that of seafarers of merchant ships. The level of satisfaction on the EMAR was 14.9% and regarded to be very low while the answering rate of necessity and urgency toward introducing marine telemedicine assistance system for the future through utilizing telemedicine equipment what is called U-helath including motion pictures information was very high. The answering rate of willingness to provide their personal health information positively when introducing marine telemedicine system was very high(97.4%). It is thus necessary to permit marine telemedicine service system, establish service model of marine telemedicine through conducting demonstration projects, promote marine telemedicine actively at the level of government, etc.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify factors influencing job satisfaction among nurses working in college health centers in order to enhance their role functions and to increase their work capabilities. Method: In this study a cross-sectional survey was used to collect data from 106 nurses working in college health centers. Collected data were analyzed using frequency, Pearson correlation coefficients, independent t-test, one-way ANOVA and multiple regression with the SPSS 20.0. Results: Mean scores for self-efficacy, job stress and job satisfaction for the participants were 3.86 (5-point scale), 2.51 (5-point scale) and 3.37 (5-point scale) respectively. There was a negative correlation between self-efficacy and job satisfaction (r=-.653, p<.001). Factors influencing job satisfaction were job stress (${\beta}$=-.58, p=<.001), level of perception among the nurses that they were contributing to the health promotion of students (${\beta}$=-.21, p=.005) and marital status (${\beta}$=.17, p=.029). These 3 elements accounted for 47.7% of the variance in job satisfaction. Conclusions: The results indicate that reduction in job stress and increase in the perception that nurses are contributing to the promotion of students' health are important to reinforce the role function of nurses and to increase their work capabilities.

Data was collected using a structured questionnaire from July to August, 2013. Results: Perceived body type, weight control, and eating habits were significantly different in two regions. Children's eating habits were significantly different by their perception of health status and body type. Their mother's parenting attitude toward eating habits was significantly different by children's weight control and mother's and children's perception of body type. Parenting attitude toward eating habits was not different between two regions by their mothers. eating habits and parenting attitude toward eating habits were significantly correlated. Conclusions: Health provider should consider regional difference when designing health promotion program for elementary students. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of being aware of the physical and psychosocial environment of the school on subjective feeling of happiness in Korean middle and high school students. Methods: The data of "Health and lifestyle Survey (2019)" conducted by the National Youth Policy Institute were analyzed after receiving approval though the website. A total of 5,311 middle and high school students were included in the analysis. Descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, pearson correlation, and multiple regression analysis were executed using SAS 9.4. Results: The mean score of subjective feeling of happiness was 6.92±0.56 out of 10. From the univariate analysis, the more positive the perception of the physical school environment was, such as classrooms, restrooms, exercise facilities, catering facilities, health facilities, other school facilities and school uniform, the higher the subjective feeling of happiness was (p for all <.001). In addition, the psychosocial environment of the school was significantly related to the happiness of adolescents (p<.001). After controlling for gender, school level, school grade, socio-economic status, and stress, positive perception of classrooms (B=0.04, p<.001), catering facilities (B=0.01, p=.021), health facilities (B=0.08, p<.001), and the psychosocial environment of the school (B=0.18, p<.001) was significantly associated with happiness of the students. Conclusion: Positive perception of the school environment was found to increase happiness in adolescents. Therefore, efforts should be made to make classrooms, catering facilities, and health facilities a pleasant space as well as to create a school atmosphere that values health.
Objectives: This study consisted of a literature review on oral health among people with disabilities, and to present the factors that should be considered in developing an oral health program for people with disabilities. Methods: The key words 'people with disabilities' and 'oral health' were searched in 4 Korean academic journals and 5 online search engines and a total of 635 papers were identified. Duplicate papers were removed, and the literature selection criteria were applied to the remaining papers. Finally, a total of 45 papers were used in the review. Results: First, people with disabilities were the most common research subjects, followed by dental students, dental hygiene students, dentists, dental hygienist and guardians and special education teachers. Second, the most frequently studied research topic was dental examination, followed by oral health behavior and behavior of using dental clinics. Third, research purposes included the status of oral health, the quality of oral health, dental treatment, the use of oral health service, and oral hygiene behavior and perception. Fourth, the most frequently discussed policy task was expansion of research subjects, followed by oral hygiene and policy development. Conclusions: To enhance the oral health of people with disabilities who have difficulty in keeping their teeth clean and healthy on their own, development of an oral hygiene training program is required not only for people with disabilities, but also for guardians and teachers. It is equally important to examine oral health behavior that could potentially affect the status of oral health and create a more accurate and systematic oral hygiene method. In addition, the government, together with various other research institutes, should conduct an oral health survey of a representative sample of people with disabilities to determine oral health status and facilitate improvements to oral hygiene programs.
Purpose - This study aims to explore women's beauty industry market and growth development by identifying the main factors of women's perception of skin health care. Research design, data, and methodology - The survey was conducted on women aged 20 to 60 living in Seoul. For the statistical analysis, frequency analysis, t-test and one-way ANOVA were conducted, and significant differences in p<0.05 were tested through the multiple range test of the Scheffe. The factor analysis was conducted to verify the validity of questions, and the reliability was determined by the coefficient of Cronbach's α. Results - The lower the age, the higher the perception of the skin, and women pay a higher price for skin health as a provisional customer. 'Acne care' was the most common skin condition (32.8%), 'life style' (79.8%) was the most important part of skin care. Final education was the highest level of skin care for women with a professional background (M=3.41) (F=4.028, p<.05). The results were as follows : 1) The distributions of SPHS was 58.4% of healthy group. 41.6% of unhealthy group. 2) For the difference of SPHS by stress, the high level stress group was more included in healthy group(p<0.05). 3. For the difference of SPHS by health behavior. the higher score of health behavior group was more included in healthy group. There was statistically significant difference of SPHS in physical exercise, but not in smoking, drinking, sleeping and body mass index. 4.
