인문계·실업계 고등학생의 식사에 대한 인식과 영양지식 비교 (Comparison of the Perception of Meals and Nutrition Knowledge in General and Vocational High Schools)

  • 본 연구는 서울지역 인문계와 실업계 고등학교에 재학 중인 남녀 548명을 대상으로 아침식사, 단독식사 및 가족식사에 대한 실태와 영양지식을 비교 조사하였으며 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 조사대상자의 어머니 교육정도는 대부분 고졸과 대졸이었고(p<0.001), 실업계 학생이 인문계 학생보다 어머니의 직장이 있는 경우가 많았다(p<0.01). 가족형태는 부모님과 형제와 함께 살고 있는 학생이 인문계 75.4%, 실업계 73.9%로 조사되었다. 아침식사 횟수의 조사에서 아침식사를 '거의 매일 먹는다'로 응답한 경우 인문계 67.6%, 실업계 45.3%, '먹지 않음'으로 응답한 경우는 인문계 7.0%, 실업계 15.6%로 나타났고(p<0.001), 인문계 학생이 실업계 학생보다 아침식사의 횟수가 많음을 알 수 있었다. 단독식사를 하는 이유로 '내가 바빠서'라고 응답한 경우가 44.0%로 가장 많았고(p<0.001), 단독식사의 주식의 형태로 '밥과 반찬'으로 식사한다는 조사가 53.1%로 나타났다(p<0.05). 단독식사할 때 식사시간의 규칙성에서 '불규칙하다'는 응답(34.9%)에서 실업계 학생이 인문계 학생보다 높게 나타났다(p<0.001). 식사속도는 대체로 빠른 편이었고, 단독식사 할 때 좋지 않은 식습관 중에 가장 문제가 되는 것으로 '불규칙한 식사시간', '편식' 및 '인스턴트식품 섭취'의 순으로 조사되었다(p<0.01). 가족식사의 인식 조사에서 '함께 사는 가족이 모두 모여 식사하는 것이 가족식사'라고 생각한다는 응답(70.6%)이 가장 많았고(p<0.05), 가족식사의 유무는 인문계 학생이 실업계 학생보다 11.8% 더 많이 가족식사를 갖고 있다고 생각하였다(p<0.01). 가족식사의 횟수를 '일주일에 1~2회 한다'는 응답이 173명(31.6%), 가족식사의 좋은 점으로 '가족 분위기가 좋아질 수 있다'는 응답(35.4%)이 가장 많았다(p<0.05). 가족식사를 하는 날로 '주말 또는 공휴일'이 50% 이상으로 우리나라 고등학생들은 평일에는 학교와 학원수업으로 바빠서 상대적으로 온 가족이 시간적 여유가 있는 주말 또는 공휴일에 가족과 함께 식사를 하게 되는 경우가 많음을 보여주었다. 가족식사의 태도, 환경 및 참여도에 대한 동의 정도를 측정한 결과, 가족식사의 태도의 평가에서는 대체적으로 실업계에 비해 인문계가 모두 동의하는 정도가 높게 나타났으며, 가족식사 횟수에 따른 가족식사의 태도, 환경 및 참여도에 대한 동의 정도를 측정한 결과, 가족식사의 태도에 대한 동의 정도는 모든 평가에서 가족식사의 횟수가 많은 집단에서 높은 것으로 조사되었다. 영양지식에 대해 분석한 결과, 열량에 대한 항목에서 가장 높은 점수를 보인 항목은 '체중을 줄이기 위해서는 식사 조절보다 운동이 효과적이다'(인문계 0.65, 실업계 0.61)이었고, 영양소에 관련하여 가장 높은 점수를 보인 항목은 '다양한 영양소를 가진 식사가 좋은 식사이다'(인문계 0.85, 실업계 0.80)이었다. 영양소의 급원식품 및 기타 항목에서 '등푸른 생선은 고도의 불포화지방산이 풍부한 좋은 지방공급원이다'의 항목에서 가장 낮은 점수를 보였다(인문계 0.51, 실업계 0.47). 영양지식 점수 '상', '중' 및 '하'에 따른 가족식사의 태도, 환경 및 참여도에 대한 동의 정도는 영양지식 점수 '상'인 집단에서 가족식사의 동의 정도가 높은 것으로 조사되었다. 이상의 결과에서 대부분의 청소년들은 아침식사를 하는 것으로 조사되었으며, 인문계 학생이 실업계 학생보다 아침식사의 횟수가 많음을 알 수 있었다. 인문계 학생들은 학습 및 학원시간 등으로 본인 바쁜 이유로, 실업계 학생들은 불규칙한 생활습관에 따른 식사시간의 불규칙으로 인해서 단독식사를 하고 있었다. 단독식사 시 좋지 않은 식습관으로 인문계 학생들은 방과 후 자율학습 및 학원수강 등으로 집 밖에서 식사를 많이 하게 되므로 패스트푸드나 인스턴트식품을 자주 먹는다는 것으로 조사되었다. 그리고 인문계 학생들이 실업계 학생들보다 가족식사에 대한 동의 정도가 높게 나타났으며, 대부분 가족식사의 횟수가 많은 집단과 영양지식 점수가 '상'인 집단에서 가족식사에 대한 동의 정도는 높았다. 따라서 인문계와 실업계 청소년들 모두에게 매일 반복되는 식사의 중요성과 온 가족이 모여서 하는 가족식사가 개별적으로 하는 단독식사보다 식사환경에 긍정적인 영향을 준다는 것을 인식시킬 필요가 있으며 지속적인 영양교육을 통해 식생활 개선 노력이 요구된다.

경남지역 일부 산업간호사의 보건관리 업무 및 관련요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on Health Care Activities of Some Industrial Nurses and their Related Factors in Kyungnam Area)

  • The purpose of this study was to assess the performance of the role and function of some industrial nurses and to characterize the factors affecting the performance of their activities. Thus the results could be used to suggest the direction in the performance of industrials nurses' activities effectively. During a period from January 10 to March 31, 1994, the data were collected from 87 industrial nurses, who were working as health managers in the plants, in Ulsan city and the vicinity in Kyungnam province, using a structured questionnaire. The results were as follows : 1. The general characteristics of industrial nurses in this study were 82.8% being 30 years old or less, 60.9%, being not married, and 93.1% having eduction levels above junior college. 2. With respect to general work conditions, 94.3% were working in a separate room provided for health care division, 40.2% working under the safety and health department, and 98.9% working as common-level staffs. And 60.9% were working less than 44 hours a week, 70.1% had work experiences less than 5 years, and 50.6% had annual incomes ranging 10 to 14 million wons. 3. As work conditions related to health care activities, 49.4% performed the activities not related to health care as always or occasionally, and 87.4% answered that occupational physicians were appointed in their plant and among them, however, only 6.9% worked on full-time basis and 52.8% perform little activities as occupational physicians. For a decision related to health care activity, 69.0% discussed the problems with the supervisors, and 19.5% made decisions by themselves. 4. As for attitude and perception to their activities as health managers, 66.7% moderately recognized the importance of health manager in the workplace, with 63.2% being satisfied their wages and treatment from the company, 57.5% being satisfied with their job positions and 51.7% having positive attitudes as being health managers. 5. The degree of performance at least in one of health related activities were very high in activities such as general medical care(100%), general health examination(98.0%) and specific health examination(100%), and relatively high in health education(72%), new employee health examination(60.9%), document handling(79.3%) and activity for work environment(70.1%). However, the performance rate was very low in preparing protective equipment (20.8%). 6. The levels of activities related to health care were significantly high when making decisions by themselves, when occupational physicians not being full-time, and when satisfying their job positions, and, on the other hand, significantly decreased as work hours increased. 7. In addition to some kinds of periodic education asked by all of the nurses, 89.7% wanted a specialized licensing system for industrial nurse, and 97.4% wanted to apply for the license test. As a conclusion, it is suggested that industrial nurses should be given more authority and placed in more self-controlled system to perform health care and other activities more efficiently, and the role and function of the occupational physician should be clearly distinguished from that of the industrial nurse as a health manager to avoid an unnecessary overlapping.

데이터마이닝을 이용한 유치치아우식증 관련요인 분석 (Effect of Mothers' Oral Health Knowledge and Behaviour on Dental Caries in Their Preschool Children)

  • In order to investigate correlation between mother's dental ca re for her children and their dental caries, this study was conducted wi th the dental examination record of 365 children who showed the same number of questionnaires with those examined for dental conditions and questionnaires written by mothers among children between three and six years of age and their mothers in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi province in June 2004 to estimate frequency and percentage of general properties of subjects and mother's oral health care behaviors for her children by research items, to carry out cross-tabulation analysis and correlation analysis following Chi-square distribution for the presence of dental caries in deciduous teeth and oral health care behaviors, and to use decision tree analysis among data mining techniques for those factors associated with the presence of dental caries in deciduous teeth, and drew the following conclusions. 1. For mother's oral health care behaviors and attitudes for her children, 225 mothers(61.6%) confirmed their children's teeth-brushing; 278(76.2%) used no fluorine; and 286(78.6%) observed their children's teeth, 322 mothers(88.2%) instructed their children in teeth-brushing while 268 (73.4%) provided dental care, 232 mothers(63.7%) treated their children's cavity; 290(79.4%) believed that their children had good dental conditions; and 294(80.5%) answered that they began to provide their children with dental care in deciduous teeth. 2. As for the presence of dental caries in deciduous teeth and dental health care behaviors, there were statistically significant differences in employment, confirmation after teeth-brushing, teeth observation, instruction in time for teeth-brushing, use of fluorine, cavity treatment, time for dental care, and perception of dental conditions(p<0.05). 3. As for correlation between dental caries in deciduous teeth and oral health care behaviors, mothers who worked, who believed that their children didn't have good dental condition, and who thought that it was necessary to begin to provide dental care in permanent teeth were found to get their children to suffer from dental caries in deciduous teeth. Besides, those who failed to confirm teeth-brushing, who used no fluorine, and who failed to observe teeth and gave no instruction in time for teeth-brushing were shown to get their children to suffer from dental caries in deciduous teeth. 4. Variables to determine the presence of dental caries in deciduous teeth were classified by cavity treatment, mother's employment, time for dental care, and observation of children's teeth. The first node to determine the presence of dental caries in deciduous teeth was found to be cavity treatment; the next criteria for classification after cavity treatment were shown to be mother's employment and time for dental care. In case of children with no cavity, they were found to be mother's employment and teeth observation.

외식프랜차이즈 기업의 평판이 신뢰와 충성도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Franchise Firm's Reputation on Trust and Loyalty)

  • Purpose - Recently, the food service franchise market is experiencing rapid growth and competition is intensifying. Therefore, consumer choice has expanded, and reputation management has become important as a strategy for survival of corporations. Based on previous studies, this research proposed the theoretical framework about the structural relationships among reputation, trust(cognitive trust, affective trust), and loyalty. Research design, data, and methodology - This study examined the structural relationship between reputation, trust, and loyalty from the customer's perspective. Based on comprehensive validation procedures across nine food service Franchise firm types, This study found support for a five-dimensional scale with the following dimensions: Customer Orientation, Employer Brand, Reliable and Financially Strong Company, Product and Service Quality, and Social and Environmental Responsibility. In order to verify the research purposes, research model and hypotheses were developed. The data were collected from 227 food service franchise consumers through online survey. The data was analyzed with SPSS 24.0 and Amos 23.0 statistical program. Result - The results of the study are as follows. First, customer orientation, reliable·financially strong company and product·service quality have significant impact on corporate cognitive trust. And employer brand, product/service quality and social·environmental responsibility have significant impact on corporate affective trust. Second, cognitive trust and affective trust have significant impacts on consumer loyalty. Conclusions - The implications of this study are following as: From the theoretical perspective, this study considers trust as two dimensions such as cognitive and affective, not a single dimension, and identify what dimensions of franchise firms affect consumers' reputation perception and in turn lead cognitive and affective trust, and loyalty. This study also provides several managerial implications. In the franchise market where competition is intensifying, it is very important to analyze the attitudes of consumers in order to gain an advantage in competition with other competitors. In this study, it is meaningful that the study was conducted on consumers who have experience using a restaurant franchise company. Also, reputation is necessary to pay attention to the company because it is an important variable that strengthens with customer through confidence in food service franchise business, and leads loyalty and consumer consumption. Therefore, marketers should develop marketing strategies considering various reputation factors.

남·북 관계에 대한 1020세대들의 이야기 (The Study on the Perception of the 10th to 20th Generation on the South and North Korea Relations)

  • 본 연구는 1020세대들의 남북관계에 대한 생각을 탐색하여 미래 남북관계를 위한 국내 교육 정책에 대한 개선점을 찾고 현재 통일교육 및 남북관계에 대한 시사점을 제공하고자 한다. 본 연구의 대상자 표집은 10대와 20대를 구분하여 공개모집하였다. 이후 눈덩이 표집을 거쳐 각 10대 집단 6명, 20대 집단 8 명 총 14명을 선정하여 각 집단별로 3회에 걸쳐 초점집단면접을 실시하였다. 결과는 다음과 같았다. 첫 번째, 남북관계에 대한 본 연구 참여자들은 3가지 관점인 '민족주의적 관점', '실용주의적 관점', '이념·체제 주의적 관점'을 보고하였다. 두 번째, 남·북 관계에 대한 정서 및 태도는 어떠한가에 대하여 부정과 긍정 둘 다 나타났다. 그러나 긍정 정서 및 태도는 주로 미디어의 영향으로 나타난 것이었으며, 부정정서와 태도는 반복적이고 강요적 교육에 의해서 영향을 받았다. 본 연구 참여자들은 1회기 수동적 면접과는 다르게 자신의 의견을 내놓으며 능동적으로 변화한 모습으로 남북한의 미래에 대한 이야기를 진행했다. 이는 본 연구의 가치이자 향후 1020세대들에게 남북한 관계와 상호작용하며 대한민국의 미래를 설계함에 있어 필요한 교육이 무엇인가에 대한 의의를 제공한다.

생명공학에 대한 한국인들의 표상: 대학생들과 일반 성인들을 중심으로 (Korean representation of biotechnology : For college students and lay adults)

  • 본 연구는 생명공학과 관련 기술의 활용에 대한 일반 국민들의 인식과 태도, 그리고 그 인식과 태도에 영향을 미치는 심리적 요인들에 대해 탐색해 보려 하였다. 대학생과 일반 성인집단을 대상으로 생명공학과 기술에 대한 자유연상 반응 및 질문지 응답을 통해 얻어진 결과를 분석하였다. 생명공학 연구 및 기술활용과 관련한 한국 성인들의 인식 내용은 '인간의 존엄성 손상' '인체에 유해한 부작용' '도덕적 혼란' '상업적 악용' 등의 불확실성이나 부작용에 대한 염려와 '질병치료' '수명연장' '식량문제 해결' 등의 긍정적 기대를 중심으로 표상되어 있었다. 생명공학 및 그 기술 활용과 관련한 대학생들의 관심과 인지도는 비교적 높았고, 관련 정보를 얻는 주된 출처는 'TV'와 '신문' 및 '인터넷' 등이었으며, 생명공학이 사회에 미치는 영향의 판단에 대해 신뢰하는 집단으로 '과학자'와 '시민단체'를 들고 있었다. 생명공학 기술의 적용에는 호의적인 태도를 보이지만, '유전자변형 콩으로 만든 두부'의 부작용을 염려하고 먹지 않겠다는 반응이 많았다. 또 개인 유전정보를 사회적이나 공적으로 이용하거나 관리하는 데 대해서는 매우 부정적인 태도를 보이고 있었다. '급진성'과 '행동활성화 체계의 민감성' 및 '신뢰감'과 '적개심' 등의 심리적 속성들이 생명공학 및 그 기술의 활용과 관련한 '관심과 인지도' 및 '기술의 활용의도'와 의미 있게 관련되어 있었다. 또 생명공학에 대한 인지도가 높다고 해서 호의적인 태도가 높은 것은 아니었다. 끝으로 본 연구에서 얻어진 결과의 의미와 추후 연구에 대해 논의하였다.

암환자의 통합의학 치료경험 - 근거이론을 중심으로 - (Integrated medical treatment experience of cancer patients -grounded theory around-)

  • Purpose : Recently, cancer has become a chronic disease that requires supervision because of early diagnosis and the development of therapeutic technology. As a result, cancer patients are interested in improving the quality of their lives besides the treatment of cancer itself. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct a qualitative research to understand the vivid experiences of cancer patients and structure their treatment experience. Among qualitative researches, grounded theory is developed based on the data collected in the field. The grounded theory research method is easy to analyze for the process and structure of the treatment experience. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to provide basic data on the integrated medical experience of cancer patients Methods : Participants were conveniently selected, and the criteria for selection were for those who had more than 1 month of hospitalization so that they could dictate their situation and experience in a meaningful manner. Data was collected through in-depth interviews and continued until the data were saturated through theoretical sensitivity and continuous comparison methods. The collected data were analyzed through the process of open-coding, axial coding, and selection coding, which are the research methods of grounded theory. Results : Cancer patients differ in their path, purpose, and attitudes depending on their respective situations and the internal and external resources of individuals. There is also a difference in the perception of their situation among the cancer patients and their families. Cancer patients were shown to recognize and cope with problems in the integrated medical treatment process, and have been classified into 6 different types after the results. Cancer patients showed positive changes in terms of physical, emotional, and lifestyle after their integrated medical treatment. Cancer patients perceived the integrated medical treatment process as a horizontal relationship structure and with diversity. Conclusions : The experience of integrated medical treatment of cancer patients is a process of rehabilitation that heals the body and restores life within the interaction of support system, contextual situation, and internal resources of the individual. Despite this, there is a need not only for the efforts of integrated medical service providers but also institutional support in the future with regards to the current weaknesses and points for improvement. In addition, there is a need for an objective criterion to measure the outcome of integrated medicine for the standardization of integrated medical services.

Korean consumers' attitudes towards organic labels and country-of-origin of organic foods

  • Although the South Korean organic food market is in the infancy compared to other industrialized countries, Korean consumers'interest in organic food and retail stores devoting space to organic products have been rapidly increasing. Despite the fact of organic food popularity, the term "organic" is interpreted differently by individuals. As opposed to the US, Japan and the EU where have operated an integrated organic food labelling system, Korea has adopted complex organic labelling systems regulated by several different government bodies. As a result, complicated food labelling standards make consumers confused when purchasing organic foods. Furthermore, in terms of country of origin (COO), it is argued by a lot of researchers that COO effects vary from product to product and from country to country; moreover, other informational cues such as brand and price can influence COO effects. In modern society, COO labelling has been complicated, due to the sourcing, manufacturing and market locations of merchandise spread over the world. Accordingly, the evaluation of COO effects has become complex. In order to examine these issues, a quantitative research was selected to classify the commonfeatures of organic food consumers and construct statistics such as the extent to which people are aware of organic food and COO labellingvia a questionnaire which took place in two cities in Korea with a cluster sample of 161 organic food purchasers. As for the data analysis, one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA), T-tests, bivariate crosstatulations with Cramer's V were conducted,depending on the characteristics of variables and the assumptions the research data need to fit. It has been concluded that in general, Korean organic consumers comprehend the term "organic"in a closer way to the general concept rather than technical term, thus people do not appreciate environmentally labels which include organic food labels, although marital status influence the degree of label awareness, regardless of gender, age, education level and so on. Regarding COO effects on organic food, home organic products were Korean consumers'first choice over those from industrialized countries and developing nations. Specifically, in processed organic product category, domestically cultivated and processed organic products were absolutely preferred to leading national brands produced with imported ingredients and international brands. However, due to a lack of checks of ingredients' COO, consumers tend to purchase a leading national organic food brand, believing that it is a pure organic food sourced domestically. As a consequence, this research has suggested some important managerial implications and future research directions. In order to prevent consumer confusion when buying organic foods, it should be noted that consumers do not comprehend the organic food certifications, due to complicated labelling systems for organic produce and processed organic foods. Therefore, government bodies related to organic food distribution have to know consumers' perception of organic food labels and the significance of customer-oriented labels and reestablish labelling standards. Similarly, public advertising should be followed to raise public awareness of the labelling to enable customers to have the correct information. In addition, not only international marketers but also domestic marketers need to understand COO images and also the influence COO of ingredients has on the image of an organic product.

대학생의 성교육 효과측정을 위한 기초 연구 (A preliminary study for the evaluation of the effects of sex education program on college students)

  • This study was performed to provide preliminary data for the development of a useful instrument to measure the effect of sex education. The study was conducted with the voluntary participation of 155 college students enrolled in the course "Sexuality and Relationship" at Y university in Seoul. At the end of that course, they were asked to write freely about the change they had experienced on sexuality. All meaningful statements were elicited and classified into 7 categories; "Change of Knowledge", "Enlightenment", "Change of Attitude on Sexuality", "Buildup of Ability", "Buildup of. Identity", "Change of Emotion", "Change of Behavior:' There were significant changes in the areas of knowledge(28. 6%), enlightenment(27.4%), and attitudes(20.3%) about sexuality among these 7 categories. The Change of Knowledge category consists of 3 areas: "concretion of knowledge", "increase of information", and "correction of misunderstanding." In the category of Enlightenment, total 12 areas are included: "sex role", "erception of lack of knowledge", "importance of family", "life plan", "parent role", "value of life", "equality", "sexual autonomy", "importance of sexuality", "freedom of sexuality", "perception of sexual problem", and "meaning of love." The Attitude Change category consists of 8 areas. These are "being natural", "being progressive", "being sensitive", "being truthful", "being expressive", "being cautious", "being responsible", and "being confident". The category of Buildup of Ability includes 4 areas: "problem solving", "sex education", "relationship", and "communication". The category of Buildup of Identity includes "sexual identity", and "value of sexuality". The Emotional Change category includes 3 areas: "positive feeling", "negative feeling", and "breaking from negative feeling on sexuality". The Behavior Change category includes "sex-related behavioral change". In conclusion, up to now most researches on sex education effect measures only changes of knowledge, attitude, and behavior. But we believe the changes in "Enlightenment", "Buildup of Ability", "Buildup of Identity", "Change of Emotion", should be included in addition to knowledge, attitude, and behavior in the development of an instrument to measure the sex education effects. And the effect of sex education should measure the degree of learning of autonomy, enlightenment, and ability of behavior and so on rather than studying the simple changes in sexuality.enment", "Buildup of Ability", "Buildup of Identity", "Change of Emotion", should be included in addition to knowledge, attitude, and behavior in the development of an instrument to measure the sex education effects.   • 이 연구는 국·공립문화예술단체가 하나의 조직으로, 조직의 내·외부에 수많은 갈등이 존재할 것이라는 인식에서 출발하였다. 또한, 갈등이 조직 구성원들에게 부정적 문제요소로 작용하며, 그로 인해 파생된 감정들이 어떠한 관계가 있는지를 파악하였다. 구체적으로, 1) 현직 국·공립문화예술단체(조직)의 예술단원(조직 구성원)들이 인식하는 갈등 요인을 파악하고, 2) 갈등이 부정적 문제요소로서 예술단원들에게 어떠한 영향력을 제공하는지, 3) 갈등에 따른 감정(소진, 이직 의도, 직무 불만족, 부정적 전이)이 어떠한 관계를 맺고 있는지를 살펴보는 것이 목적이다. 이를 위해, 이론적 검토와 동시에 현직 국·공립문화예술단체 소속 예술단원들을 대상으로 인터뷰 및 설문조사를 진행하였다. 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 국·공립문화예술단체의 예술단원들이 지각하는 갈등은 1) 조직적 갈등(경영·행정·운영 등), 2) 개인적 갈등(예술적 취향·동료 등)으로 구성될 수 있었다. 이 갈등은 조직 구성원들의 감정에 부정적인 방향을 제공하는 것으로 파악되었다. 조직적 갈등과 개인적 감정은 모두 감정 소진에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 감정 소진은 이직 의도와 직무 불만족에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 직무 불만족은 이직 의도에 정(+)의 영향을, 이직 의도와 직무 불만족은 부정적 전이에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 검토되었다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 국·공립문화예술단체의 효과적인 마케팅을 위한 시사점을 제시하였다.
