Development of Web-based Management System for Greenhouse Teleoperation (웹을 통한 온실 원격 관리 시스템의 개발)

  • In this paper, we have developed the web-based management system for greenhouse teleoperation. The remote control system consists of database, web-server, controller in greenhouse, and clients. The database in the server stores user informations and greenhouse conditions, and is used to manage user login and conditioning data. The management system developed by using Java applet, which is a client program for effective and easy management of greenhouse, monitors the greenhouse in real time. Master and driver boards installed in greenhouse control unit. Database on flowering to collect and analyze data exchanges data with the server. The greenhouse can be managed effectively by timer routine, repeat control within setting time, and algorithm of setting points. Also, the greenhouse conditions can be controlled by manual or remote controller (PC) through web browser in internet. Furthermore, all of the control devices of the greenhouse are managed by remote control using PC and checked via camera installed in greenhouse.

  • In this paper planed mobile shopping system using MVLS. MVLS is based on braille system, and list this to a square color box. This is can accomplish convenience of use and encipherment of fundamental personal information. Also, this system has advantage to fast communication speed because that has little size packets. Planed system does and fit this in shopping to graft together mobile-phone, smart-phone and tablet-pc that the such MVLS and most of internal adult are possessing. User can more fast finish shopping just photographing and press the button that show on TV or PC monitor and printed materials etc. by camera of mobile phone.

  • In this paper, vision inspection module for dimensional measurement has been developed. For high accuracy of CMM, camera calibration and edge detection with subpixel accuracy have been implemented. In measurement process, the position of vision probe can be recognized in PC by serial communication with CMM controller. The developed vision inspection module can be widely applied to the practical measurement process.

  • Bridge displacement measurement system using image processing is developed to overcome the contact type system inefficiencies such as heavy, expensive property and temporary construction necessity. The system is composed of tablet PC with IEEE1394 digital camera, telescope lens and a designed target mark. The key is projection algorithm where all pixels are added up for each row(column) to find out the center line. The experimental results are shown compared with a contact type system.

  • This paper describes a vision-based line-tracking system for AGV and steering control scheme. For detect the guideline quickly and exactly, We use four line-points which complement and predict each other. This low-cost line-tracking system is efficiently using PC-based real-time vision processing, Steering control is studied through an steering controller with guide-line angle and line-point error. This method is tested via a typical AGV with a single camera in laboratory environment.

  • This paper presents a navigation control method for a vision guided robot. The robot is equipped with one camera, an IBM/AT compatible PC, and a sonar system. The robot can either follow track specified on a monitor screen or navigate to a destination avoiding any obstacles on its way. The robot finds its current position as well as its moving direction by taking an image of a circular pattern placed on the ceiling.

  • Color rendition method is necessary for improving the low contrast images which are achieved by PDA, mobile phone camera or PC camera. There are some methods for color rendition. However, after correcting the color, image quality degradations, such as graying-out, halo-artifact and color noise, may occur. In order to overcome these problems, this paper proposes a retinex-based color rendition method. The proposed method uses the HSV color coordinate system to avoid the graying-out, and the advanced image formation model to reduce the halo-artifact in which the image is divided into three components as the global illumination, the local illumination, and reflectance. The experiment results show that the proposed method yields better performance of color correction over the conveniently method.

  • According as vehicles increases, system such as Advanced Drivers Assistance System(ADAS ) to inform forward situation to driver is required. In this paper, we proposes method to detect forward vehicles and lane from sequential color images by basis process to inform forward situation to driver. We detect a front vehicle using that shadow area exists on part under vehicles and that road area occupies many parts even if road traffic is confused. We detect lane information using that lane part is white order by reverse characteristic of shadow area. This method shows good result in case road is confused or there is direction indication to road. HSV color space is selected for color modeling. This method uses saturation component and value component in HSV color model to detect vehicles and lane. It uses statistics features of HSV component and position to know whether detected vehicles area is vehicles such as vehicles previous frame. To verify the effects of the proposed method, we capture the road images with notebook and CCD camera for PC and Present the results such as processing time, accuracy and vehicles detection against the images.

  • Recently, Virtual reality parts is applied in various fields of industry. In this paper we got under control motion of reality robot from interface manipulation in the virtual world. This paper created virtual robot using of 3D Graphic Tool. And we reappeared a similar image with reality robot put on texture the use of components of Direct 3D Graphic. Also a reality robot and a virtual robot is controlled by joystick. The developed robot consists of robot controller with vision system and host PC program. The robot and camera can move with 2 degree of freedom by independent remote controlling a user friendly designed joystick. An environment is recognized by the vision system and ultra sonic sensors. The visual mage and command data translated through 900MHz and 447MHz RF controller, respectively. If user send robot control command the use of simulator to control the reality robot, the transmitter/recever got under control until 500miter outdoor at the rate of 4800bps a second in Hlaf Duplex method via radio frequency module useing 447MHz frequency.
