TeleRemote를 이용한 원격 제어 시스템 구현 (Implementation of Remote Control System using TeleRemote System)

  • 본 논문에서는 기존외 무선 이동 회선망 및 전화 가입자 회선망을 사용한 정보통신기기에 적용하여 원격 제어를 할 수 있는 인터페이스 장치인 TeleRemote 시스템을 설계 및 구현한다. 제안된 방법은 신호 탐지 제어 이론에 기반을 둔 응용 프로그램으로, 컴퓨터에 TV 수신 카드를 장착하여 인터넷을 통한 고효율의 PC-EPG를 이용한 양방향성 방송을 통하여 MPEG-1 포맷의 TV 신호들을 코드화하여 실시간 재생 및 예약 녹화할 수 있는 우수한 성능을 가진다. 또한 통신망을 이용하여 원격 제어 프로그램으로 PC 전원을 ON/OFF한 수 있는 제어동작이 가능하다. PC-EPG 시스템은 서버/클라이언트 형태의 Web 프로그램으로 구현되며 EPG 기능을 제공하는 서버 시스템은 스케줄러에 의한 예약녹화 및 데이터 전송을 담당하며, 클라이언트 PC로의 데이터 저장은 TCP/IP을 통해 Visual C++/MFC 프로그램으로 구현된 클라이언트 프로그램에서 수신처리 된다. 구현된 시스템은 인트라넷을 구성하고 인터넷과 연결된 상업적 통신 시스템에 부합하여 안정성 및 신뢰성을 바탕으로 부가가치 창출이 가능한 시스템임을 확인할 수 있다.

IoT 환경에서 IP카메라의 효율적 운용을 위한 키 관리 및 보안 설계 프로토콜 (Authentication and Key Management Techniques for Secure Communication in IP Camera)

  • 인터넷의 기술의 발전과 다양한 스마트 기기의 보급은 많은 사람들에게 편리성을 제공해 주며, 이는 IoT라는 이름의 기술로 보편화 되고 있다. 그러나 이러한 상황을 악용하는 해커들의 공격으로 인해 개인 정보 유출이나 사생활 침해를 받는 등의 다양한 문제를 야기 시키고 있다. IoT 환경에서는 다양한 스마트 디바이스들이 네트워크에 연결되고 있으며, 이로 인해 기존 PC 환경에서 악용되던 네트워크 공격이 IoT 환경에서 빈번하게 발생하고 있다. 실제로 IoT 디바이스인 IP 카메라에 불법적인 접근을 통해 DDoS 공격을 시도하거나, 개인정보 유출, 동의 없는 모니터링 등의 보안 사고가 발생하고 있다. 기존 인터넷 환경에서의 공격이 PC 위주였다면, 이제는 IP카메라나 태블릿 등의 스마트 기기들이 네트워크 공격에 활용될 수 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 이러한 IoT환경에서 발생할 수 있는 문제를 방지하기 위해 디바이스들에 대한 보안 솔루션 적용을 해야 하지만 PC와 다르게 메모리나 파워 등이 제한되어 있어 기존에 사용하던 보안 솔루션 설치 및 실행에 어려움을 가지고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 IoT 환경에서 IP 카메라의 특징 및 보안 위협들에 대해 살펴보고 이를 방지할 수 있는 보안 프로토콜을 제안한다. 제안하는 프로토콜은 성능평가를 통해 RSA 보다 서버기준 11%, Kerberos 보다 클라이언트 기준 8배 이상 에너지 효율성을 보였으며, 디바이스의 개수가 늘어남에 따라 효율이 높아짐을 확인하였다. 또한, 네트워크에서 발생할 수 있는 다양한 보안 위협에 대응 가능함을 확인할 수 있어 IoT 환경에 적용한다면 효율적인 운영이 가능할 것으로 기대 된다.

  • This paper presents temperature measurement of solar photovoltaic modules using the custom-made system composed of an infrared temperature sensor and a microcontroller. The obtained measurement results are processed, displayed and stored on a PC using the custom-made virtual instrument. The proposed system overcomes some of the problems related to the contact sensor application, and at the same time offers accurate readings and better flexibility. The proposed system is especially suitable for applications where the cost is a limiting factor in the choice of measuring system. The conducted analysis and the obtained results have shown an excellent accuracy of the proposed system in comparison to a high quality thermal imaging camera used as the reference instrument.

  • In this paper, we implement a sensor which can perceive obstacles. We constructed it with a laser emitting a structured light and a small pc camera. It is cheap and can measure the precise sizes of the obstacles. Ultrasonic arrays and laser scanners are used generally to perceive obstacles in the autonomous mobile robot until now. However we knew that they can perceive big obstacles well, but cannot perceive small obstacles on the ground by experiments. We mounted this equipment to our robot and use it to perceive the obstacles of the front side. Our robot can recognize the obstacles of 10mm height. We expect that this equipment will be useful because it is cheap but work well.

  • This paper describes the structure, operation, image processing, and decision making techniques of a color machine vision system designed for the automatic sorting of soybeans. The system consists of feeder, conveyor belt, line-scan camera, lights. ejector, and a PC Unlike manufactured goods, agricultural products including soybeans have quite uneven features. The criteria for sorting good and bad beans also vary depending on inspectors. We tackle these problem by letting the system learn the inspecting parameters from good samples selected manually by a machine user before running the system for sorting. Real-time processing has another importance In the design. Four parallel DSPs are employed to increase the processing speed. When the designed system was tested with real soybeans and the result was successful.

  • The most important subject in developing agricultural robots for fruit harvesting is to detect accurately the location of a fruit about the given coordinate system. This study was carried out to develop an image processing algorithm which enables finding out the three dimensional locations of a fruit. The digital image processing device consisted of an optosensor (Closed-circuit TV camera), image processing interface board (Digitizer) and microcomputer (IBM PC/AT). A stereo-image processing method using the two cameras attached to the manipulator was evaluated through experiment with apples. The accuracy and quickness of detecting the location of apples by this method was not satisfactory. The maximum errors of the detected locations by the stereo-image processing method in x-, Y-, and z- directions were 3, 4 and 4 cm, respectively. The maximum time required to get the rectangular coordinate data of a fruit was about 2 minutes.

  • In this paper, we propose the system that can monitor and control the camera in the remote place using the PDA. The server PC attached to the PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) acquires the current status (On/Off) of the devices through the RS-232 serial communications. Also, the moving image frames captured from the wireless camera is compressed in the JPEG format and is stored in the server. The PDA, which is connected to the server through wireless internet, receives the data about the status of the devices and controls the devices according to the circumstances of them. Also, it can receive the images from the server simultaneously. So, we ran monitor and control the specified area in the remote place using the PDA through the wireless communication.

  • The goal of this study is to explore the possibility of KLT tracker for tracking the features between two images including rotation and shift. As a test site, Jangsu-Gun area of South Korea is selected and the images taken from UAV camera are used for analysis. The analysis was carried out using KLT tracker developed in a PC environment. The results of the experiment used two images with the large overlapping area are compared with the results of two images with the little overlapping area and rotation. Overall, the research indicates that the integrated features of littlerotation and motion images can significantly increase during the tracking process. But using KLT tracker for extracting and tracking features between images with large rotation and motion, the number of tracked features are decreased.

  • For home networking system with a function of air quality monitoring, a wireless sensor module with several air quality monitoring sensors was developed for indoor environment monitoring system in home networking. The module has various enlargements for various kinds of sensors such as humidity sensor, temperature sensor, CO2 sensor, flying dust sensor, and etc. The developed wireless module is very convenient to be installed on the wall of a room or office, and the sensors in the module can be easily replaced due to well designed module structure and RF connection method. To reduce the system cost, only one RF transmission block was used for sensors' signal transmission to 8051 microcontroller board in time sharing method. In this home networking system, various indoor environmental parameters could be monitored in real time from RF wireless sensor module. Indoor vision was transferred to client PC or PDA from surveillance camera installed indoor or desired site. Web server using Oracle DB was used for saving the visions by web-camera and various data from wireless sensor module.
