Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analysis with the SPSS program. Results: The mean of person-centered care was 2.95±0.62 out of 5. There were significant differences in person-centered care in terms of age, shift pattern, total clinical career, and educational experience of person-centered care. Person-centered care and ethical sensitivity, person-centered care and person-environment fit showed a positive correlation. Factors affecting the person-centered care were the age (20-29), shift pattern (three shift), person-environment fit. The explanatory power was 42%. Conclusion: These results can be used to increase the person-environment fit and adopt a differented approach based on age and shift pattern in order to enhance person-centered care. Therefore, it is necessary to develop and apply an person-centered care program for nurses in long-term care hospitals.
This study was conducted to evaluate menu pattern and nutritional contents of snack menus provided by child care information centers in Seoul. Snack menus during March 2013 (morning snack : 125 cases, afternoon snack : 100 cases), including information on portion size, were collected from five child care information centers, after which the number of menu items, menu patterns, and nutritional contents were analyzed. About two-thirds of total snack menus included two menu items. There were significant differences in service time (morning & afternoon snacks). 'Beverage+Food' pattern (66.7%) was the most commonly used; 'Beverage' pattern was significantly higher in morning snacks (10.4%) than in afternoon snacks (1.0%). Morning and afternoon snacks provided 124.5 and 170.6 kcal of energy and 116.4 and 90.9 mg of calcium, respectively, which are 8.9% and 12.2% as well as 19.4%, and 15.2% of children's daily energy and calcium requirements. To improve the quality of food and nutrition offered to children through snacks at child carre centers, a more detailed snack menu plan as well as nutritional guidelines for institutions should be developed.

We identified the intake pattern and consumption propensity of milk and sought improvements to promote consumption of milk. We targeted 362 preschool children aged 5~7 years old who attended nursery school in the Bucheon area. Questionnaires were distributed and 328 questionnaires were collected. Approximately 36.2% of boys and 31.2% of gorls drank milk six times per week. A total of 32.9% of the preschool children drank more than 2 cups of milk/day. Approximately 72.9% of them currently drink white milk, and 46.0% preferred milk to processed milk. The reasons why they drink milk included 'want to be tall'(66.5%) and 'good health'(52.4%). Mothers(54.6%)and preschool children(39.3%) were the purchasers with the greatest impact on product purchases. Consumer propensity to buy milk was shown in the order of expiration date(4.80 points), and nutrition facts(4.01 points). (4.88 points) and enhanced nutrients(4.59 points) should be promoted for milk consumption. Therefore, it is thought that continuous nutrition education should be made together in order to increase consumption of milk of children and education targeting teachers and school parents should be conducted as well. And in order for children to drink milk without repulsion, the development of various products satisfying both symbolic aspects and nutritional aspects should continue to be made.
