The main division of involvement was third branch and two cases were combined with infra orbital nerve. 3. There was no constant pathologic changes in nerve tissue, but capillary proliferation were observed in perineural connective tissue in two cases. • Hamartoma is benign pathologic lesion that looks like a neoplasm. But actually hamartoma is derived from congenital developmental errors of mature tissue. That is a focal overgrowth of normal tissue components. Hamartomas have been reported as arising anywhere in the body, but rarely has it been found in the head and neck region. Above all, laryngeal hamartoma has been described few times. We report an unusual case of hamartoma located in the larynx. Epiglottis mass was found incidentally by gastrofibroscopic examination. After the mass was excised by $CO_2$ laser, pathologic diagnosis has confirmed the mass as hamartoma.

  • The influences of dietary aflatoxin B1 on performance, on hematologic, pathologic and immunologic changes in broiler chickens were studied. One hundred and fifty hatched broiler chickens were fed with diet containing aflatoxin B1 (1.0 ppm and 2.5 ppm) fot three weeks. Blood samples, serum, and immune organs were obtained to investigate hematological, clinico-chemical, and histopathologial changes. Body weight gain and feed intake were significantly decreased. The liver and kidney were increased, whereas the bursa of Fabricius, spleen and thymus were decreased.
