밸브후단에서의 다회선 초음파 유량계의 특성변화 (Installation Effects on the Characteristics of Multi-path Ultrasonic Flowmeter with Valve)

  • A five path ultrasonic and/or magnetic flowmeter were installed after valve. Five path ultrasonic flowmeter were tested to obtain it's performance in a water flow standard system and magnetic flowmeter. It's varied with straight pipe length(nD), install direction and valve position. All the results are summerized. The multi-path flowmeters(MUF) showed up to $\pm0.5{\%}$ at a 2, 4, 8, 15D spacing : the MUF was significantly better than magnetic flowmeter at disturbed flow conditions.

  • 무선 ATM은 무선 멀티미디어 서비스를 종단간 ATM 기술로 제공하는 전송방식으로 최근에 그 요구가 급증하여 단말기의 개발과 보급이 폭증하고 있다. 이에 따라 사용자 및 전송용량의 증가로 인하여 셀의 크기가 작아지게 되고 더 많은 핸드오프가 발생하게 되는데, 좀 더 빠르고 망 자원을 보다 효율적으로 이용하도록 하기 위한 기법들에 대한 연구가 증대되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 보다 빠른 핸드오프를 위하여 사용되어지는 여러 가지 routing 방법들 중 단말기가 접속된 기지국이 바뀔 경우 VC(Victual Connection)를 재설정하는 방식인 Path Extension과 Path Rerouting을 사용하여 LAN 환경에서 해당 MSC에 속한 BS의 개수에 따라 어떠한 VC path length와 receive latencies를 나타내는지 비교하여 핸드오프 지연이 보다 적은 기법을 제안한다.

Open path FT-IR spectrometer를 사용한 원거리의 VOCs 측정에 관한 연구 (The study for VOCs analysis in long path by open path FT-IR spectrometer)

  • 휘발성 유기 화합물(VOC)은 상온에서 가스 상태로 있거나 가스 상태가 되기 쉬운 화합물로써 유해화학물질관리법으로 관리되고 있는 유해물질이다. 이러한 휘발성 유기 화합물을 측정하기 위해서 일반적으로 측정자가 직접 현장에서 포집하는 방법을 채택하고 있으나, 이 방법은 측정자가 위험에 노출될 수 있으며, 측정자의 접근이 제한적이거나 대공간일 경우 측정이 어려운 단점을 가진다. 특히 대공간에서 포집하는 경우 샘플링에서 오는 오차 및 대공간에서 샘플링의 대표성을 확보하지 못하는 단점을 가지며, 넓은 공간을 연속하여 실시간 측정이 불가능한 점도 간과할 수 없다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 본 연구에서는, 주로 대기오염 등의 모니터링에 부분적으로 연구되어온 개방형적외선분광기(open path FT-IR spectrometer)를 사용하여 원거리에서 대용량, 실시간 측정을 시도하였다. 우선 VOCs 중 벤젠을 대상으로, 시스템과 VOCs 시료와의 분석 최적거리를 측정하였으며, 확인 결과 15 meter에서 가장 좋은 흡광강도(absorption intensity)를 확인하였다. 15 meter의 최적거리에서 휘발되는 7종의 VOCs를 원거리 정성분석하였으며, 벤젠을 대상으로 정량 분석을 시도하였다. 본 연구를 통해 기존에 분석방법으로 불가능하였던 대공간 VOCs의 측정 및 상시 모니터링의 가능성을 확인할 수 있었다.

레이저 절단공정에서의 토지경로 생성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Torch Path Generation for Laser Cutting Process)

  • This paper addresses the problem of a torch path generation for the 2D laser cutting of a stock plate nested with resular or irregular parts. Under the constaint of the relative positions of parts enforced by nesting, the developed torch path algorithm generate feasible cutting path. In this paper, the basic object is a polygon( a many-slide figure) with holes. A part may be represented as a number of line segments connected end-to-end in counterclockwise order, and formed a closed contour as requied for cutting paths. The objective is to tranverse this cutting contours with a minimum path length. This paper proposes a simulated annealing based dtorch path algorithm, that is an improved version of previously suggested TSP models. Since everypiercing point of parts is not fixed in advance, the algorithm solves as relazed optimization problem for the constraint, thich is one of the main features of the proposed algorithm. For aolving the torch path optimization problem, an efficient generation mechanism of neighborhood structure and as annealing shedule were introduced. In this way, a global solution can be obtained in a reasonable time. Seveeral examples are represented to ilustrate the method.

참조 경로 비교법을 이용한 유성 버스트 무선로의 특성 추정 (Estimation of Characteristics of Meteor Burst Radio Path Using Reference Path Comparison Method)

  • 본 논문은 불특정의 유성 버스트 통신 경로의 버스트 신호 발생빈도와 그 평균 지속 시간을 예측하는데 있어서 기존의 경로를 참조 경로로 하여 각 정수를 서로 비교 계산하므로서 간편, 정확하게 산출할 수 있음을 소개하는 것이다. 이 논문에서는 유성 경로의 발생빈도와 지속시간을 그 경로의 거리, 주파수, 안테나 이득, 송신 출력 그리고 수신기의 문턱치를 기존 경로와 비교 계산하여 산출할 수 있음을 해석적으로 증명하고 이것을 확인하기 위하여 한국 경산으로부터 일본 hamamatu 및 Hatinohe간의 750 km와 1,200 km의 두가지 경로에 관하여 각각 실험을 실시한 결과를 보고하고 있다. 그 결과 실험으로 얻어진 버스트 발생 빈도와 평균지속 시간은 해석 결과와 잘 일치하고 있음을 확인하였다.

Selection of Early Maturing Rice for Duble Cropping before Growing of Alisma plantago

  • In order to obtain basic information for selecting early maturing rice varieties which is suitable for early cropping before Alisma plantago in the southern part of Korea. Six rice varieties were grown from May to August in 2002 at Youngjeon Experiment Field, Sunchon and yield components and yield of plants were investingated. Early maturing rice cv. Grubyeo showed higher rough rice yield than any other varieties used in the experiment. It showed high yield components, such as culm length, panicle length, number of panicles per plant, number of spikelets per panicle and ratio of ripened grains. Therefore, it was concluded that Grubyeo was the most suitable variety with high yield for the cultivation before growing of Alisma plantago at the southern part of Korea. The heritability of culm length number of spikelets per panicle and rough rice yield were high and that of panicle length number of panicle per plant, ratio of ripened grain and 1,000 grain wt. of milled rice were low. According to the result of path coefficient analysis, characters highly correlated with rough rice yield showed large direct effects on rough rice yield.

바닥면의 교란에 따른 자세균형능력의 변화 (Ability to Maintain Postural Control while Standing on Perturbed Surfaces)

  • This study was aimed to understand the effects of perturbed floor surface on human postural stability while standing. Ten subjects were asked to stand quietly on the surface with two angles of inclination ($0^{\circ}$ and $5^{\circ}$), two contamination conditions (dry and oil-contaminated), and three commercial floor materials (ceramic tile, coated wood, and vinyl tile). During each trial, a force plate with data acquisition systems was used to collect subject's center of pressure (COP) position. Measured COPs were then converted into the length of postural sway path in both subject's anterior-posterior (AP) and medio-lateral (ML) axis. Results showed that the length of sway path in ML axis was significantly affected by the angle of inclination and the type of floor material. The sway length was increased significantly at the inclination angle of $5^{\circ}$ and on the vinyl tile, respectively. The contamination condition, however, did not significantly affect the postural sway length in both AP and ML axis. The results imply that a proper treatment of floor surface and material is critical to preserving postural balance while standing.

The Feasibility Study of Sit-to-stand and Stand-to-sit Assistive Chair for Elderly

  • Objective: The sitting and standing are motions that correspond to the previous stage of rehabilitation to go to walking for daily life. The purpose of this study was to measure task times, path length of the center of pressure (COP) and activity on the vastus femoris muscle using surface electromyography (EMG) when standing up and sitting down. Design: One group cross-sectional design Methods: Fifteen elderly subjects (8 male, 7 female) participated. All subjects were tested three times according to four assist levels (non-assist, lower, middle, and maximal assist) using adjusts the length of spring at sit-to-stand and stand to sit on a chair. The task duration, and COP path length were recorded for the balance function on the Nintendo Wii fit board. The activity of the rectus femoris muscle was recorded on both legs using surface EMG. Results: The results showed that the task duration of the sit-to-stand and stand-to-sit were significantly increased compared to without assist (p<.05). The activation of the rectus femoris muscle more significantly decreased compared to without assistance at standing or sitting (p<.05). Conclusions: The assistive chair showed less quadriceps muscle activation during sitting and standing compared to without assistance. We suggest that our assist-standing chair can help with activities of daily living such as standing up and sitting down movements adjusting the spring length for control assist level by safely.
