Analysis of Conductivity Variation and Conduction Mechanism in Bulk NiO Based on Sintering Conditions

  • Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors (MLCCs) are essential passive components in the electronics industry, known for their high capacitance due to the multilayer structure comprising inner electrodes and dielectric layers. Nickel electrodes are commonly used in MLCCs as the inner electrodes, and to prevent oxidation during the co-firing of the dielectric layers with nickel electrodes, reducing atmosphere is required. However, reducing atmosphere sintering can also induce a reduction of the dielectric, necessitating precise control of oxygen partial pressure. To explore the possibility of using oxide electrodes that do not require reducing atmosphere sintering, we analyze the electrical properties of nickel oxide (NiO) as a potential candidate. As a preliminary study on its use as an alternative inner electrode, the correlation between microstructure and electrical properties of bulk NiO under different sintering conditions was investigated to gain insights into the conduction mechanisms of the material.

DNN과 Decoder 모델 구축을 통한 생체모방 3차원 파형 익형의 유체역학적 특성 예측 (Establishment of DNN and Decoder models to predict fluid dynamic characteristics of biomimetic three-dimensional wavy wings)

  • The purpose of this study establishes the deep neural network (DNN) and Decoder models to predict the flow and thermal fields of three-dimensional wavy wings as a passive flow control. The wide ranges of the wavy geometric parameters of wave amplitude and wave number are considered for the various the angles of attack and the aspect ratios of a wing. The huge dataset for training and test of the deep learning models are generated using computational fluid dynamics (CFD). The DNN and Decoder models exhibit quantitatively accurate predictions for aerodynamic coefficients and Nusselt numbers, also qualitative pressure, limiting streamlines, and Nusselt number distributions on the surface. Particularly, Decoder model regenerates the important flow features of tiny vortices in the valleys, which makes a delay of the stall. Also, the spiral vortical formation is realized by the Decoder model, which enhances the lift.

연약지반 호안의 측방유동에 따른 안벽 말뚝의 거동 (Behavior of Quaywall Pile by Lateral Movement of Revetment on Soft Ground)

  • 최근 우리나라는 연약지반으로 구성된 서해안과 남해안의 해안매립지역에 도로, 신항 등 건설사업 진행시 수평하중이 말뚝두부에 작용할 경우, 지반은 부동의 상태에서 말뚝의 이동에 저항하여 작용하는 연약지반의 측방유동과 수동말뚝에 대한 문제점이 종종 논의되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 인천 ${\bigcirc}{\bigcirc}{\bigcirc}{\bigcirc}$ 부두 건설공사 과정에서 발생되는 측방유동에 따른 구조물 및 지반의 변형을 분석하기 위하여 현장계측을 실시하였고, 유한요소 해석 프로그램인 AFFIMEX Version 3.4를 이용하여 현장계측 결과와 비교분석하였다. 수치해석에 의한 변위 결과는 시공단계별로 초기응력상태, 말뚝항타, 모래치환, 사석층설치, 준설매립, 배수층설치, 상재하중재하, 상재하중재하 및 제하 후 방치 등으로 구분하여 구조물과 기초지반에 발생된 연직 및 측방 변위를 분석하였다. 현장계측과 수치해석 결과, 안벽호안의 침하량은 계측이 시작된 시점으로부터는 이미 많은 침하가 발생된 것으로 나타났으며, 계측일로부터는 준설매립에 의한 성토작업을 개시하는 시점에서 가장 많은 양의 침하가 발생되었고, 성토가 완료된 시점으로부터 침하량은 수렴하였다. 전체적으로 수치해석에 의한 결과치가 계측을 통한 결과치보다 크게 나타났다.

압전감쇠와 수동적 특성을 갖는 압전지능패널의 광대역 전달 소음저감성능 (Broadband Transmission Noise Reduction Performance of Smart Panels Featuring Piezoelectric Shunt Damping and Passive Characteristics)

  • 광대역 소음저감을 위한 압전지능패널에 대한 실험적 연구를 수행하였다. 압전지능패널은 기본적으로 압전재료를 부착한 평판구조물에 션트회로를 연결하고 흡음재들을 부가한 구조물이다. 압전감쇠와 수동적 특성을 혼용하여 중 주파수영역에서 흡음재의 수동적 특성을 이용하고 저주파수 영역의 공진주파수에서는 압전감쇠를 적용하여 소음저감시키는 개념이다. 저주파수 공진에서의 소음저감을 위하여 측정한 전기적 임피던스 모델을 이용하는 압전감쇠를 적용하였다. 압전감쇠를 위한 공진 션트회로는 직렬로 연결된 저항과 인덕터로 구성되었으며, 저항과 인덕터는 회로에서 소산되는 에너지가 최대가 될 수 있는 값으로 최적설계하였다. 압전지능패널의 전달소음저감 성능은 음향터널을 사용하여 실험을 수행하였다. 음향터널은 사각단면 형태이며 소음원으로 터널의 한 쪽 끝에 스피커가 설치되었다. 패널들을 터널의 중앙에 설치하여 투과 음압을 측정하였다. 흡음재와 공기층을 갖는 압전이중지능패널은 수동적 특성에 의해 저주파수 영역의 공진주파수를 제외한 중주파수 영역에서 뚜렷한 소음저감 효과를 나타내었다. 압전감쇠를 통하여, 공진주파수에서의 좋은 소음저감을 얻었다. 압전감쇠와 수동적 방법을 혼용하는 압전지능 패널은 넓은 주파수 영역에서의 소음저감을 위한 유망한 기술이다.

기능 노출 기간에 따른 골 유착성 임플란트의 촉각 감지도와 최대 교합력의 변화 (OCCLUSAL FORCE AND ORAL TACTILE SENSIBILITY MEASURED IN PARTIALLY EDENTULOUS PATIENTS WITH BR NEMARK IMPLANTS AND NATURAL TEETH: A CLINICAL STUDY)

  • During the previous several decades the osseointegrated implants have been considered as the most ideal therapy for the fully edentulous or partially edentulous patients. Although the research on the biocompatibility of osseointegration, the oral tactile function, and the histo-neurologic study had been performed, the change of the oral tactile sensibility and maximal occlusal force according to the postinsertion time of implant prostheses has not been studied. The purpose of this study was to compare the oral tactile sensibility and maximal occlusal force of implant pros-theses to natural teeth according to the specific postinsertion time intervals. The fifty seven patients treated with $Br{\aa}nemark$ implants during the recent seven years were involved in this study. The oral tactile sensibility and maximal occlusal force were measured according to the postinsertion time (${\leqq}6\;months,\;{\leqq}12\;{\leqq}\;18\;months\;{\leqq}\;24\;months,\;and\;{\geqq}20\;months$) 1. The passive tactile threshold of implants was higher than 6-7 times when comparing to natural teeth(P<0.05) 2. The absolute pressure threshold in horizontal and vertical direction for the passive tactile sensibility had decreased significantly in the post insertion time 13-18 months group and had increased significantly in the post insertion time over 25 months group (P<0.05) 3. 50% limit thickness and 100% absolute thickness for the active tactile sensibility had decreased significantly in the postinsertion time 7-12 months group ($AT_{50}:P<0.005,\;AT_{100}:P<0.05$) 4. The maximal occlusal force of the implants prostheses had decreased when comparing with natural teeth in the postinsertion time 1-6 months group(P<0.05) and after that there was no significant difference between the implant prostheses and natural teeth(P<0.05) 5. Maximal occlusal force according to the postinsertion time had increased significantly in the 13-18 months group (P<0.05) after that there was no significant difference. 6. There was positive correlation between age and oral tactile sensibility tested in horizontal and vertical direction ($P_{H:r}=0.39,\;P_{v:r}=0.41$) and there was no correlation between age and maximal occlusal force, age and active tactile sensibility 7. According to the results or the questionnaire, 76.6% of the patients were satisfied with the function and 96.7% of the patients were satisfied with the sensibility. In conclusion oral tactile sensibility and maximal occlusal force of implants have changed with the postinsertion time. Oral tactile function of implants was lower than that of the natural teeth, but for the maximal occlusal force there was no difference between implants and natural teeth.

스쿼트 동작 시 수동적 발목 가동범위와 무릎 관절 운동역학적 변인 간 상관성 분석 (Analysis of correlation between passive ankle movement range and knee joint kinetic variables during squat movement)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 딥 스쿼트 동작 시 발목 관절 유연성이 무릎 관절의 운동역학적 요인들간의 관련성을 분석하는데 있었다. 본 연구는 최근 1년간 하지 근골격계 병력이 없는 성인 남성 19명과 여성 8명이 연구대상자로 참여하였다. 딥 스쿼드 시 발목 관절 유연성과 하지 관절의 운동역학적 요인들과 상관관계를 검증하기 위해 pearson의 적률상관계수(pearson's correlation coefficient)를 이용하였고(SPSS 24.0, Armonk, NY, USA), 통계적으로 유의미한 상관성을 나타낸 변인들은 단순회기분석(simple regression analysis)을 실시하였으며, 유의 수준은 .05로 설정하였다. 본 연구를 통해 발목 관절 유연성과 무릎 관절의 압력을 결정하는 최대 관절모멘트와 관절반발력 요인들 간의 관련성을 확인할 수 있었다. 그러므로 근력 트레이닝 시 딥 스쿼트와 같은 무릎 관절에 많은 부하를 발생시킬 수 있는 운동을 적용할 때 개인에 신체적 특성 중 발목 관절의 유연성의 정도를 확인하는 것은 신체의 안정성과 무릎 관절의 상해 위험성을 감소시킬 수 있는 운동 강도를 설정하는데 도움이 될 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

Modeling cover cracking due to rebar corrosion in RC members

  • Serviceability and durability of the concrete members can be seriously affected by the corrosion of steel rebar. Carbonation front and or chloride ingress can destroy the passive film on rebar and may set the corrosion (oxidation process). Depending on the level of oxidation (expansive corrosion products/rust) damage to the cover concrete takes place in the form of expansion, cracking and spalling or delamination. This makes the concrete unable to develop forces through bond and also become unprotected against further degradation from corrosion; and thus marks the end of service life for corrosion-affected structures. This paper presents an analytical model that predicts the weight loss of steel rebar and the corresponding time from onset of corrosion for the known corrosion rate and thus can be used for the determination of time to cover cracking in corrosion affected RC member. This model uses fully the thick-walled cylinder approach. The gradual crack propagation in radial directions (from inside) is considered when the circumferential tensile stresses at the inner surface of intact concrete have reached the tensile strength of concrete. The analysis is done separately with and without considering the stiffness of reinforcing steel and rust combine along with the assumption of zero residual strength of cracked concrete. The model accounts for the time required for corrosion products to fill a porous zone before they start inducing expansive pressure on the concrete surrounding the steel rebar. The capability of the model to produce the experimental trends is demonstrated by comparing the model's predictions with the results of experimental data published in the literature. The effect of considering the corroded reinforcing steel bar stiffness is demonstrated. A sensitivity analysis has also been carried out to show the influence of the various parameters. It has been found that material properties and their inter-relations significantly influence weight loss of rebar. Time to cover cracking from onset of corrosion for the same weight loss is influenced by corrosion rate and state of oxidation of corrosion product formed. Time to cover cracking from onset of corrosion is useful in making certain decisions pertaining to inspection, repair, rehabilitation, replacement and demolition of RC member/structure in corrosive environment.

계단 오르기와 내리기 시 가방착용 위치가 지면반력 파라미터에 미치는 영향 (Influence on the Ground Reaction Force Parameters According to Wearing Positions of Backpacks During Stair Ascending and Descending)

  • Purpose : The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence on the ground reaction force parameters according to wearing positions of backpack for during stair ascending and descending. Methods : Participants selected as subject were consisted of young female(n=10) and performed stairs walks(ascending and descending) with 2 types of wearing position(front of trunk[FT], rear of trunk[RT]). Passive(Fz 1) and active(Fz 2) forces of the vertical GRF were determined from time function and frequency domain. Also shear forces(Fx, Fy 1, Fy 2), dynamic postural stability index(MLSI, APSI, VSI, DPSI), loading rate and center of pressure (${\Delta}COPx$, ${\Delta}COPy$, COP area) were calculated from time function and frequency domain. Results : Fx, Fy 1, Fy 2, and Fz 1 in GRF didn't show significant differences statistically according to the wearing positions of backpack(p>.05), but stair descending showed higher forces than that of stair ascending. Particularly, Fz 2 of stair ascending showed higher forces than that of stair descending(p<.001), RT types showed higher than that of FT types(p<.05). MLSI, APSI, VSI, and DPSI of stair descending showed the increased stability index than that of stair ascending(p<.05), MLSI of RT types showed the decreased stability index than that of FT types(p<.05). Loading rate didn't show significant differences statistically according to the wearing positions of backpack(p>.05), but stair descending showed higher loading rate than that of stair ascending(p<.001). Also, ${\Delta}COPx$ in stair descending showed the increased movement than that of stair ascending(p<.05). Conclusions : A backpack of 10 kg(10 kg(ratio of body weights $17.61{\pm}1.17%$) showed significantly change GRF parameters according to wearing positions during stair ascending and descending. If possible, we suggest that the dynamic stability, in case of stairs walking with a smaller weights can be further improved.

공압 고무 엑츄에이터를 장착한 주관절 보조기 착용에 따른 상지 근력 특성 (Characteristics of the Muscular Activities with Elbow Orthosis using Pneumatic Rubber Muscle)

  • An elbow orthosis with a pneumatic rubber actuator has been developed to assist and enhance upper limb movements and has been examined for the effectiveness. The effectiveness of the elbow orthosis was examined by comparing muscular activities during alternate dumbbell curl exercises with and without the orthosis. The subjects participated in the experiment were younger adults in their twenties. The subjects were instructed to perform dumbbell curl motion in a sitting position with and without orthosis in turn and a dynamometer was used to measure elbow joint torque outputs in an isovelocity mode. The measurements were done with four various dumbbell loads: 0 kg, 1 kg, 3 kg, and 5 kg. The orthosis was pneumatically actuated and controlled in a passive mode. The most comfortable air pressure to the pneumatic actuator was determined to be 0.294MPa. Electromyography(EMG) was also measured during curl exercises. The muscles of interest were biceps brachii(BB), triceps brachii(TB), brachioradialis(Bo), and flexor carpi ulnaris(FCU) in the upper limbs. The experimental results showed that the muscular activities themselves significantly reduced with elbow orthosis on in performing similar activities without orthosis. As a result of this experiment, the effectiveness of the developed upper limb orthosis was confirmed and the level of assistance was quantified.

  • 본논문(本論文)은 굴(堀)착깊이에 따르는 지중연속벽(地中連續壁)의 토지변동(土地變動)에 관(關)하여 벽체(壁體)의 강성(剛性), 흙의 밀도(密度), 근입(根入)깊이비(比) 벽체이동(壁體移動)에 기인(起因)되는 strut 설치지점(設置地點)의 선행변위등(先行變位等)의 요소(要素)들을 고려(考慮)한 탄소성(彈塑性) model을 제시(提示)하고 몇 가지 경우(境遇)에 대(對)하여 수치해석(數値解析)한 결과(結果)를 요약(要約)하면 다음과 같다. 1. 변동영역(變動領域)에서의 탄소성한계비(彈塑性限界比)는 벽체(壁體)의 강성(剛性), 모래의 밀도(密度) 및 근입(根入)깊이비(比)가 증가(增加)됨에 따라 감소(減少)되는 현상(現像)을 나타낸다. 2. 벽체(壁體)의 최대(最大) 휨-모멘트값은 모래의 밀도(密屠)가 클수록 감소(減少)하고 벽체강성(壁體剛性)의 영향(影響) 근입(根入)깊이비(比)에 비례(比例)하여 커진다. 3. 최대(最大) strut 반력(反力)은 모래의 밀도(密度)에 반비례(反比例)한다. 4. strut 설치지점(設置地點)의 지중선행변위(地中先行變位)는 deflection에 큰 영향(影響)을 줌으로 반드시 고려(考慮)되어야한다.
