  • This study was conducted to analyze the factors influencing participation intention in urban agriculture. The theoretical foundations of the study were Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) and Pine and Gilmore's Experiencel Economy. The type of household composition was set as the moderating variable between these independent and dependent variables. In order to test the research model, hierarchical regression analysis was conducted on 439 effective respondents. The empirical analysis results are as follows. Educational experience factors, escapist experience factors, attitudes, subjective norm, and perceived behavioral control, which were set as independent variables to positive (+) influence participation intention in urban agriculture. In addition, the impact of their influence relationship was as follows : perceived behavioral control > attitudes > escapist experience factor > subjective norm > educational experience factor. On the other hand, as a result of analyzing the moderating effect according to the household composition, there was a significant difference in the effect of educational experiences, escapist experiences, and subjective norm on participation intention in urban agriculture. Significant results were not tested on the moderating effects between attitudes, perceived behavioral control, and participation intention in urban agriculture. Based on the results of this empirical analysis, academic and practical implications were presented.

  • This study investigates the influence of technology readiness, fashion innovativeness, and participation level perception on the acceptance intention of 3D virtual fitting systems. We presented a 3D virtual fitting system with detailed information that was watched by respondents who subsequently completed a research questionnaire. The data were collected from 300 subjects with an age range of 21 to 39 who have experienced Internet shopping. Descriptive statistics, Cronbach's alpha, factor analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis were conducted. The results were as follows. First, fashion innovativeness, technology innovativeness, participation level perception, and optimism significantly influenced the acceptance intention. Second, fashion innovativeness, technology innovativeness, participation level perception, and optimism positively influenced the acceptance intention in the male group; however, technology innovativeness, participation level perception, optimism, and insecurity significantly influenced the acceptance intention in the female group. The results indicated that a marketing strategy has to be designed that focuses on consumers with high technology, fashion innovativeness, and optimism to increase the acceptance intention. In addition, markers have to enhance a participation level perception that will contribute to the introduction of 3D virtual fitting systems. Another notable finding was the importance to differentiate marketing strategies according to gender.

  • This study aimed to confirm the quality of exhibitions and the effectiveness of government's policy support for small and medium-sized companies seeking to help companies expand overseas marketing and improve their performance through participation in overseas exhibitions. For the purpose of empirical analysis, the survey was conducted directly to exhibitors of companies participating in overseas exhibitions with the support of government for three years from 2016 to 2018. As a result, the quality characteristics of overseas exhibitions had a significant positive influence on re-participation intention, and the influence was the most important in organizer's capacity, followed by exhibition reputation and exhibition environment. In addition, quality characteristics had a significant effect on participation performance, and participation performance had a partial mediating effect on re-participation intention. The government's policy support had a significant moderating effect between participation performance and re-participation intention, and the conditional indirect effect (adjusted mediating effect) on the effect of quality characteristics on re-participation intention through participation performance. This study has an academic significance in confirming the mediating effect of participation performance and the moderating effect of government policy support.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the determinants of union commitment and union participation intention based on the social exchange perspective and apply implications to union setting to improve union management. The results are as follows : Firstly, union commitment is the most direct predictors of union participation intention and mediates the relation both perceived union support and union instrumentality and union participation intention. Secondly, both perceived union support and union instrumentality are direct predictors of union commitment but perceived union support has more effect than union instrumentality on union commitment. Lastly, process related justices affect on perceived union support but interactional justice is a more Important antecedent of perceived union support than procedural justice. Unexpected finding is that union instrumentality has direct relationship with not only union commitment but also perceived union support. This finding is needed further research in the future.

It also typifies the interest and participation intention of lifelong education by region, and compared the interest and participation intention of Citizen Participation Education. Through this, we intend to provide concrete basic data for activating the Citizen Participation Education in Chungnam. We analyzed data of 4,108 people in 2016 lifelong education needs survey. Second, the enjoy learning type group is a group that enjoys participating throughout lifelong education area. bias earning type group is a group that perceives that lifelong education is limited to vocational ability education, culture art education, and liberal arts education. These are groups that are interested and participating only in three areas. The elderly learning type group is a group that shows typical characteristics of the elderly learners and is a group that is concentrated on participation in culture arts education. Third, enjoy learning type group is the second most experienced participant. They are the group with the highest participation interest and participation intention. bias earning type group is the group with the highest participation experience. They are also the second highest group of participating interests and willingness to participate. elderly learning type group is the group with lowest participation experience, participation interest, and participation intention. Finally, we suggest the ways to revitalize Citizen Participation Education in lifelong education.
