STEP AP214 자동차 설계 데이터 정리 시스템 (Healing of STEP AP214 Automotive CAD Data)

  • To exchange CAD data between heterogeneous CAD systems, we generally use a neutral format especially STEP, which is the international standard (ISO-10303) for product model data exchange. AP214 (Application Protocol) for the automotive industry not only takes into account geometry and organizational data, but also provides a classification mechanism for product modeling. When reading a STEP file during a design process that is exported from other CAD systems, it is a burden to a designer to go through the tedious process of removing duplicate or non-manifold entities, adjusting parts, and rearranging text. We analyze the structure of AP214 and develop a healing tool to solve the following problem. Without the assembly information in the Master workspace of CATIA, or to read a STEP file from Pro/Engineer, a designer should do a repetitive process of disintegrating an assembly into parts one by one. We have developed a post-processing tool for STEP AP214 that separates out a part from an assembly model and adjusts superfluous or useless entities using the ACIS kernel.

  • There are many types of BOM, such as EBOM, MBOM, As-Built BOM, As-Designed BOM, Generic BOM, Customized BOM, etc. We should define an adequate BOM to achieve some purposes. In this paper, we proposed BOM structure for EMU Maintenance Information System. First of all, we define Master BOM including all part's information, such as 2D/3D drawings, images, specification, etc. And then we define Object BOM that is functional structure for someone to achieve maintenance works. Object BOM will be applied to configure sales orders, explode aggregate forecasts, and calculate standard cost.

수소에너지 정부 정책 동향 및 R&D 역할

  • New and renewable energy has attracted a significant attention since the Paris Agreement in 2015. Especially hydrogen energy is important for reducing greenhouse gas produced during transportation. The new government suggested that the eco-friendly vehicles, hydrogen infrastructure and the development of new and renewable energy are the major growth engines in the future. Hydrogen energy is also concerned as the main part of our economy in the national affairs. In the policy of Mission Innovation Strategy and the third Eco-Friendly Vehicle Master Plan, government presents the status, future direction, technical road map and distribution road map of hydrogen energy. With this trend, investments in the research and development on hydrogen and fuel cells have expanded and will continue to expand for the implementation of the policy. The cost reduction, technical innovation and the increase in the localization rate are required for the new and renewable energy, including hydrogen energy, to become the future growth engine.

Reliability: A Neglected Topic in the Power Electronics Curricula

  • This paper presents the approach followed to develop a course that introduces reliability into the design of power electronics converters. The course is part of the curriculum of a master of science in electrical engineering program, and it is aimed at providing reliability tools that can be used in a straightforward manner, while avoiding the mathematical intricacies. The reliability calculations are performed according to the Military Handbook 217, using the evaluation version of a commercial software package which greatly reduces the computational burden usually associated with this task. The course assessment shows that, after attending the course, students were able to improve the mean time between failures in a power-electronics converter, from a minimum of 5%, up to 100%.

  • This paper describes the communication system of sequencing sorter. Generally sequencing sorter is a machine that sorts mails by delivery order. And designed sequencing sorter is composed of 5 physical modules. So, it is necessary to communicate with each module and to control this communication. A computer called Machine Management Computer, controls this. This paper is about the communication system with MMC and module controllers. This is PC-based, asynchronous full-duplex 4-wire serial systems. 3 protocol layers are presented and stop-and-wait flow control is adopted. Because designed sequencing sorter has to be operated high speed about 27,000 letters per hour, we analyzed the network traffic in the worst case. So, we could find that the communication system has to use above 115,200bps speed.

A Comparative Analysis of Port Development Strategies in Hong Kong and Busan

  • This paper discusses the strategies for the future qf the Hong Kong Port and Buasn Port. We assess whether they prepare the ports for the position of being the logistics hub, and as such could assist the ports to maintain their position in the world's container port. We reviewed both the current situation qf the Hong Kong Port and the strategy of the port for the future (Master Plan 2020) to keep the status of logistics hub. With the case study on the Port of Hong Kong, this study attempts to examine what the strategic planning is needed for the Busan Port. We debate the Port of Busan could be seen as a logistics chain for the future. In our discussion, the strategic planning on "Port Vision 2020" for Port of Busan does not address the issues regarding this part, nor does it make any recommendations in terms of the requirement of the logistics private sector.

  • Recently, the scope of the smart factory has been expanded, and process research to minimize the part that requires manpower in many processes is increasing. In the case of detecting defects in the appearance of small products, precise verification using a vision system is required. Reliability and speed of inspection are inefficient for human inspection. In this paper, we propose an algorithm for inspecting product appearance defects using a machine vision system. In the case of the remote control targeted in this paper, the appearance is different for each product. Due to the characteristics of the remote control product, the data obtained using two cameras is compared with the master data after denoising and stitching steps are completed. When the algorithm presented in this paper is used, it is possible to detect defects in a shorter time and more accurately compared to the existing human inspection.

  • Writing is an indispensable skill among the four language skills, but in actual teaching, it is also a difficult part to master for students. To improve students' writing ability, it is very important to understand their cognition and attitude towards writing. Because students are the main body of learning, learning and teaching are complementary to each other. Comprehending students' opinions is very significant for improving teaching. For this, the purpose of this paper is to investigate the perception and attitudes of Korean college students towards Chinese writing de ply, and based on the results of the survey, this study also suggested several proposals. As one of the basic researches of writing teaching design, this paper provides a certain reference basis of future instructional curriculum designs.

  • This paper describes a research work of developing computer-aided design of lead frame, semiconductor, with blanking operation which is very precise for progressive working. Approach to the system is based on the knowledge-based rules. Knowledge for the system is formulated from plasticity theories, experimental results and the empirical knowledge of field experts. This system has been written in AutoLISP on the AutoCAD using a personal computer and in I-DEAS Drafting Programming Language on the I-DEAS Master Series Drafting with Workstation, HP9000/715(64) and tool kit on the ESPRIT. Transference of data among AutoCAD, I-DEAS Master Series Drafting, and ESPRIT is accomplished by DXF(drawing exchange format) and IGES(initial graphics exchange specification) methods. This system is composed of six modules, which are input and shape treatment, production feasibility check, strip-layout, die-layout, modelling, and post-processor modules. The system can design process planning and Die design considering several factors and generate NC data automatically according to drawings of die-layout module. As forming process of high precision product and die design system using 2-D geometry recognition are integrated with technology of process planning, die design, and CAE analysis, standardization of die part in die design and process planning of high pression product for semiconductor lead frame is possible to set. Results carried out in each module will provide efficiencies to the designer and the manufacturer of lead frame, semiconductor.

장애인을 위한 도서관 대체자료 연구 - 정책 및 법령 분석을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Materials at Libraries for the Disabled: Focused on the Analysis of Related Policies and Legislations)

  • 본 연구는 장애인을 위한 도서관 대체자료 제작 및 활용의 근거가 되는 정책 및 법령의 분석과 이해당사자와의 면담을 통해 관련 문제점을 논하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 대체자료의 정의와 유형을 논하고, 장애인 정보접근권을 위한 제도적 노력의 연혁을 살펴본다. 정책 영역에서 제1차 및 제2차 도서관발전종합계획 중장애인 서비스 관련 부문을 분석하고, 법률 영역에서 도서관 대체자료와 관련하여 장애인, 도서관, 출판사 등 관련 집단의 권리와 의무를 규정하고 있는 "도서관법", "장애인복지법", "저작권법"을 논한다. 정책 및 법률 분석을 기반으로 대체자료 관련 이해당사자들의 인식과 입장을 분석하고자 심층 면담을 실시한다. 결론에 갈음하여, 이상의 논의를 바탕으로, 대체자료에 관한 5가지 문제를 논한다.
