Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the degree of satisfaction of part-time work of the mentally disabled and the factors affecting their job satisfaction. Methods: The subjects of this study were 106 part-time workers with mental illness in the city of B and Y. The data were collected from February 1, 2012 to May 30, 2012 using self-report questionnaires including the measurement scales of job satisfaction, family support, work volition and the degree of satisfaction with work environment. The data were analyzed using t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients, multiple regression with the SPSS/WIN 18.0 program. Results: The mean of score for job satisfaction was $61.8{\pm}13.84$. Job satisfaction was highly related to family support, work environment and work volition. The associated factor of the subjects job satisfaction were family support, work environment, work volition, and the period of employment. The combination of these four factors showed an explanation for job satisfaction at the rate of 80.2%. Conclusion: The results imply that job satisfaction needs to be increased for the job continuity of employees with mental illness. In addition to this, work environment, work volition and family support should first be improved for the increase of job satisfaction.
In this study, we examined the effects of a mother's reading motivation on the home literacy environment. Seven hundred fifty-seven mothers with three to five year old children participated in this study and completed the Adult Motivation for Reading Scale and the Home Literacy Environment Questionnaire. The subcategories of the Adult Motivation for Reading Scale are "reading as part of self," "reading efficacy," "reading for recognition," and "reading to do well in other realms." The Home Literacy Environment Questionnaire has three subcategories, namely reading books, reading behavior and modeling of parents, and literacy learning. The mean, standard deviation, one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA), and hierarchical multiple regression analysis were used to analyze the data. The results showed that (1) the home literacy environment was significantly different depending on the mother's education and family income levels, (2) the mother's reading motivation also differed significantly depending on the mother's education and family income levels, and (3) the mother's reading motivation has a significant explanatory effect on the home literacy environment. In addition, the mothers falling into the reading motivation subcategories of "reading part of self" or "reading to do well in other realms" were found to enrich their home literacy environment. Therefore, this study demonstrates that the mother's reading motivation is an important factor affecting the home literacy environment.

The Multi-cultural Family Support Center provides various educational programs and services for multi-cultural families. However, there are controversies regarding integration and assimilation, ethnic identity and ethnocentrism, and state-sponsored multi-culturalism. From the home economist's perspective, it was necessary to explore the direction of integration of family life culture in the multi-cultural society. This study concluded that there is a necessity to accept foreign culture and create a new culture while still maintaining their and our own cultural identity respectively. For this purpose, integration and assimilation must progress side by side to maintain the cultural identity and stability of multi-cultural families. But, women migrants are to adapt in their everyday life, they need to attend a Korean-language course and take part in a traditional Korean culture program such as having an assimilational characteristics. Also for the happiness of multi-cultural families ultimately not for the confronted problems, it requires sometimes education of changing migrants' own traditional customs and life culture partly. In this sense, educational and cultural programs held by Multi-Cultural Family Support Center are meaningful and their importance in adapting into everyday life must be recognised by all of us.

Time poverty is a kind of objective and subjective state which a person does not have a enough time to do his/her work or is in the mood to do something in a hurry. The major of family resources management has studied time as a resource to manage for long years. How to manage time has been a major part in education of family resources management. The education itself in nature has focused to inform knowledge and the disciplines of time management, to the students, on the other way, has a rare interest with a each student how to apply them or whether do in practical. Coaching is characterized as a practical learning and mutual communication skills with open questions, which help for a individual student to find his/her own goal related with time poverty or furthermore, whatever he/she wants to achieve in life. If the benefits of the education of family resources management as well as the benefits of practical learning of coaching could be merged in education on time management, the effectiveness of education to resolve time poverty is able to be increased. For the purpose, this study suggests a coaching approach in education of family resources management to resolve time poverty, by some comparisons of family resources management and coaching about time and time management.
Software product line development is a development paradigm that efficiently develops a product family by avoiding redundant development based on separation of the common part and the variable part of the product family. In software product line development, the source code that is used to produce a product family is called a product line code base, and when the product line code base is changed and the products of the product family are affected by the change, the activity of testing the affected products is called a product line regression testing. For product line regression testing, instead of conducting regression testing individually on each product of the product family, a more efficient regression testing would be possible if unnecessary testing that are irrelevant to the change can be avoided. This paper introduces SRTS, which is an automated method to efficiently perform software product line regression testing. SRTS divides the product line code base and test cases based on commonality and variability. Then SRTS identifies and selects the test cases affected by the change. Finally, it reduces unnecessary testing by rerunning only the selected test cases.
When Korean family planning services began as a part of the National Policy in 1962, the annual population growth was 3.0%. This growth rate has been decreased to 2.0% during last ten year period. And it seems imperative that all hospitals, as well as related organizations, should participate in family planning in order to contribute to achieving the National goal of 1.5% population growth by 1976, the end of the Third Five Year Economic Development Plan. Nurses should be considered the most important human resources in charge of the core of family planning services in any setting. For the family planning services in the general hospital setting, nurses as a core members contribute much as change agent, motivators, counsellors, educators etc. A nurse can work with patients and their relatives when she is equipped with relevant knowledge and skills. Fur the more family planning cannot be ignored even in hospital setting where more comprehensive nursing care is needed Thus, the general objective of this study is to provide baseline data for better programming of In-service education in family planning so that effective hospital family planning nursing services can be made a part of comprehensive nursing care contributing to the national population program and human welfare. In order to meet the general objective, this study has the following specific objectives : 1. To find out the general characteristics of the clinical nurses working in Y Hospital 2. To evaluate their attitudes and practices of family planning 3. To assess their knowledge, attitudes and practices of population and family planning as professional nurses. 4. To examine and compare data collecting methods for the planning of an In-service Educational Program 5. To explore the contents to be included in this In-service Education Program. The study population randomly selected one hundred nurses working in Y Hospital A cross-sectional survey with questionnaires developed for this study was chosen for the study method. To collect reliable data, the questionnaires were distributed to and answered by the study population in a controlled situation. X²test and t-test was employed in analyzing the data. The findings of this study are as follows: 1. Y Hospital nurses had a lower ideal number of children (X=2.02) and showed no strong preference for male children, and 74% of them expressed the desire to use permanent methods of birth control 2. of this thirty Y Hospital nurses who were married 66.7% stated they were already practicing contraceptive methods. Most of them preferred male methods of contraception. 3. According to objective evaluation about knowledge of various aspects of population and family planning, respondents from collegiate programs significantly knew better the subjects on the average than did respondents from diploma programs of nursing. 4. There was a marked difference in the results of self-evaluation and objective evaluation in their family planning knowledge. It was found that the self-evaluation family planning knowledge seemed to be unreliable. Accordingly, the objective test methods appeared to be more reliable in the evaluation of knowledge levels. 5. The subject areas needed to be included in In-service education for the Hospital family planning services in Y Hospital are 1) rhythm methods, 2) tubal-legation, 3) family planning effects of contraceptives, 4) population growth, 5) demographic traction, 6) population structure and 7) infant mortality facts. In addition, 1) various oral contraceptives, 2) basal temperature method, 3) laparoscopic female sterilization, 4) interfering factors of family planning, 5) anatomy and physiology of the female reproductive organs were additional areas to be taught to respondents from 3-year diploma schools of nursing. Demographic transition was one subject area in which the four-year graduates need further study. 6. Population problems guidance and counselling in family planning instruction in the theory and practice of contraceptives should be included in future In-service Education Programs in order to provide more effective hospital Family Planning Services, stated 77.0% of the respondents.
Background: Cholangiocarcinoma (CCA) is the most common cancer in Northeast Thailand. It is also a crucial health problem for Thai people. Various risk factors for CCA have been identified in the upper part of Northeast Thailand, but no similar studies of risk factors have been conducted in the lower parts of the region. This study aimed to investigate factors associated with CCA in the resident population. Materials and Methods: A hospital-based case-control study was conducted during 2009-2012 with the recruitment of 123 CCA cases and 123 non-CCA patient controls, matched for sex, age and residential area. Information was collected by interview with a structured questionnaire. Blood samples were collected for assays of anti-OV antibodies. Associations between various personal factors, dietary habits, family history, the presence of anti-OV antibodies and CCA were analyzed using multiple conditional logistic regression. Results: Patients who consumed raw meat (beef, pork) and alcoholic beverages ${\geq}3$ times per week had a higher risk of CCA than non-consumers ($OR_{adj}$=4.33; 95%CI=1.14-16.35 and $OR_{adj}$=2.13; 95%CI=1.00-4.55, respectively). Patients who had a family history of cancer had a higher risk than those who did not ($OR_{adj}$=4.34; 95%CI=1.80-10.43). Also, patients who had anti-OV antibodies (AU>23.337) had a higher risk than those whose anti-OV antibodies were below the cut-off ($AU{\leq}23.34$) ($OR_{adj}$=3.09; 95%CI=1.04-9.16). Conclusions: As is the case in the upper part of Northeast Thailand, OV infection is a crucial risk factor for CCA in people who live in lower part of the region. Similarly, a family history of cancer and the consumption of alcohol are risk factors for CCA.
The purpose of this study is to introduce the evolution of corporate family-friendly policies and programs, a recent business issue throughout the world. In addition, this study suggests implications for a corporate reference guide to work-family policies and programs by providing a comparative analysis of the typical stages of development of U.S. corporate family-friendly policies and programs, and by presenting model initiatives of Korean and American family-friendly companies. Just as technological changes at the time of the Industrial Revolution altered the relationship between workers and their work, more recent technological advances have again transformed this relationship, offering the promise of a society in which work demands a smaller portion of the worker's time and permitting the worker more freedom and control over work conditions. These new work arrangements have the promise of producing a new paradigm for work and family, based on which many industrialized nations have developed family-friendly policies already. Family-friendly policies and programs can be grouped into four discernable stages in the evolution of a corporate work-family agenda. According to these stages, most companies in Korea are in the predevelopment stage or stage 1. Development of scales to assess company family-friendliness is needed to create a family-friendly workplace environment, policies, and programs. It is critical that companies have champions who have the vision to step out in kent, and the determination to ensure that the family-friendly programs are solidly grounded. Companies should develop their work-family initiatives as an integral part of a program for managing diversity focusing on needs of women and minority employees.
The nation's birthrate has been rapidly falling. The purpose of this study was to explore the factors related to low birthrate, by analyzing TV dramas dealing with childbirth and rearing. Content analysis is well suited to research probing widespread cultural notions or behavior. If any part or all of the dramas discussed an aspect of childbirth and rearing, we recorded verbatim quotes and paraphrased some specific points. Using the technique of multiple observers, inter rater as well as intra rater reliabilities were measured. The results showed that emergent themes in TV dramas on low birthrate are social environment, family context, and value changes. The conclusions and implications of these findings are discussed.
This study of 54 folk paintings of the late chosen period analyzed the perception of children of that period. Three types of children's activities were identified: children playing, children working hard, and children studying hard. Only boys participated in these activities along with their parents or grandparents: girls were relegated to the background, along the fence. Conclusions were that people recognized play as a natural part of childhood. children's lives were defined by social status: children of the yangban (upper) class had to study hard for their family's honor while children of the lower classes had to labor for their family's livelihood, children were recognized as members of a family and a community. Boys were considered important because they were heirs to the family fortune: girls were to be supportive of men and family.
