Children need oral care according to their developmental stage and accordingly, the appropriate dental treatment is different, which requires parents to have an active attitude and the applicable oral knowledge. As there is so much unreliable oral care information and PR, it is hard to find accurate information and parents are in need of a preventative oral healthcare mobile application for healthy oral care. Also, pediatric adolescent care should be focused on prevention rather than treatment and children should be instructed and educated to eat cariogenic foods as little as possible as well as told to brush before going to bed. This study designed a smart application for oral health care education to provide information and knowledge regarding oral health care for infants, oral health education, and oral health care prevention for parents of young children.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the supportive care needs of parents of preterm children in South Korea using text data from a portal site. Methods: In total, 628 online newspaper articles and 1,966 social network service posts published between January 1 and December 31, 2019 were analyzed. The procedures in this study were conducted in the following order: keyword selection, data collection, morpheme analysis, keyword analysis, and topic modeling. Results: The term "yirundung-yi", which is a native Korean word referring to premature infants, was confirmed to be a useful term for parents. The following four topics were identified as the supportive care needs of parents of preterm children: 1) a vague fear of caring for a baby upon imminent neonatal intensive care unit discharge, 2) real-world difficulties encountered while caring for preterm children, 3) concerns about growth and development problems, and 4) anxiety about possible complications. Conclusion: Supportive care interventions for parents of preterm children should include general parenting methods for babies. A team composed of multidisciplinary experts must support the individual growth and development of preterm children and manage the complications of prematurity using highly accessible media.

The purpose of this study is to compare the cognition of SIDS as the first step for decreasing the SIDS death rate for the infant and for activity of infant-care in Korea. Participants were 409 child care center directors and 146 parents from 500 child care center directors and 200 parents who using child care center facilities for their children in Seoul. For analysis of research questions, frequencies, Cronbach $\alpha$, t-test,One-way ANOVA, Scheffee test were used with SPSSWIN 15.0. Through this study, we find the child care center directors have good cognition for it, but their effort for SIDS prevention is limited, because they don't have any official prevention education from authorized training center. Even though the parents have a low awareness for SIDS prevention than child care center directors, but they have high score in endeavor for SIDS precaution. Both child care center directors and parents want to receive systematic information from government side. Our infant should have a opportunity to grow up health and stability from reducing the risk of SIDS. In western countries such as U.S.A., U.K. and Japan have studied to decrease the SIDS death rate from thirty years ago, they have already government and social organization for preventing the SIDS. Nowadays, as you know well, our country birth-rate is falling by 1.08, therefore, it is important to decrease the infant death rate for keeping with our population. Also, it is relevant to the child-welfare and the child-safety and more better the child-care.

Purpose: The purposes of this study were to identify the perceived nursing needs and the differences by general characteristics of parents of infants in a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) and to provide useful evidences developing a new intervention for family-centered care in NICU. Methods: A convenience sample of 121 parents of infants in NICU was used and the participants asked to complete the Korean version of NICU Family Needs Inventory (NFNI) from April to May, 2014. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test and ANOVA. Results: The participants reported high average score in the perceived nursing needs. In subscales, needs for assurance rated highest score and needs for information, proximity, support, and comfort were followed. Mothers reported higher nursing needs score than fathers except the subscale of support. Conclusion: The findings suggest that nurses in NICU actively provide information about treatment, nursing, results of laboratory tests, and current status to give reassurance to parents. Not only providing informational support of parents of NICU infants, but also finding methods to contact to parents is necessary. The purpose of the current study was to determine whether preschoolers' attachment relationships with their parents and socioemotional behaviors are related to their day care experiences in infancy and at the present time. The participants consisted of 59 preschoolers and their mothers from 2-parent, white, middle-class dual earner families in Madison, Wisconsin. Preschoolers' attachment quality was measured by two representational instruments: the Separation Anxiety Test and "My Family and Friends". Mothers completed questionnaires about their family background and their children's day care history. The quality of current day care was obtained from directors' reports about regulatable features of the day care centers. Teachers completed the Preschool Behavior Questionnaire. Data was analyzed by hierarchical multiple regression analysis. The results showed that the quality of preschoolers' attachment relationships with parents were significantly related to the amount of day care during infancy, the quality of current care, and children's gender. In addition, the amount of infant day care appeared to have negative relations with children's socioemotional behavior problems as evaluated by teachers.
