This study examines the effects of parental leadership and verbal control modes on preschool children's leadership. The sample included 202 children between the ages of 4 and 5 and their mothers, and data were collected using an index of parental leadership, an index of parental verbal control, and an inventory of preschool children's leadership. A statistical analysis was conducted using a t-test, a correlation analysis, and a multiple regression analysis. According to the results, there were significant differences in preschool children's leadership according to the child's age. According to a correlation analysis, parental leadership and verbal person-oriented control modes had significant positive correlations with preschool children's leadership, and imperative control and position-oriented control modes had negative correlations. In addition, parental leadership and verbal control modes were significant predictors of preschool children's leadership. In particular, parents' communication skill, relationship skill, group activity skill, person-oriented control mode, and position-oriented control mode were significant predictors of preschool children's leadership.

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship among children's perceived parental attachment, parental happiness, and children's autonomy, and to find out in detail the influence of parental attachment and parental happiness on children's autonomy. Frequency analysis and descriptive statistical analysis were performed on data from the 12th year of the Korean Children's Panel (2019), and Pearson's moment correlation coefficient was calculated for correlation analysis between variables. Multiple regression analysis was conducted to examine the influence of parental attachment and parental happiness on children's autonomy. The research results were as follows. First, parental attachment perceived by children, parental happiness, and children's autonomy were all positively correlated. Second, among the sub-variables of parental attachment, maternal trust, paternal trust, and maternal communication were found to have an influence, and only maternal happiness was found to have an effect on parental happiness. This means that parental attachment acts as a more important variable than parental happiness. Therefore, we need constant attention and effort to support children in a more intimate and stable relationship with their parents so that they can gain life satisfaction through active and proactive choices and decisions.
The purpose of this study was to examine the differences of the satisfaction with school uniforms according to demographic variables and to investigate the causal relations of parental control, school life satisfaction, and demographic variables to the satisfaction with school uniform. The research method was a survey method using a questionnaire. The subjects were 407 high school students (191 male, and 216 female) residing in Seoul and the suburbs of Seoul. Students were very satisfied with the convenience of not having to choose what to wear every morning, but the satisfactions with uniform cost and design were lower. The aesthetic, psychological, and status symbol satisfaction of school uniforms were higher as parents and adolescents had more communication, and the psychological and status symbol satisfaction of school uniforms were higher as the level of parental supervision for adolescents was higher. The female students had higher psychological satisfaction with school uniforms than the male students were. The aesthetic satisfaction of school uniforms was lower as mother's education level was higher. The adolescents from upper class families had lower aesthetic, psychological, and status symbol satisfaction with school uniforms than the adolescents from middle and lower class families. The satisfaction with school uniform was influenced by school life satisfaction the most, and the next in the order by grade (-), the social class (-), and the communication with parents. The factors that influenced school life satisfaction for students were parental supervision, school records, the discipline consistency of parents, and their communication with their parents. This study compared male and female university students' perceptions of parenthood and their need for pre-parental educational program. Responses of 579 university students in 5 universities were collected using a questionnaire developed by the researchers. Data were analyzed using a T-test and Pearson's chi squared test. Results showed that (1) systematic and pre-parental education may increase opportunities for university students to prepare parent and child rearing skills. (2) Any pre-parent educational program developed should cover practical and such as communication skills, child-rearing techniques and ways of disciplining children. The purpose of this study was to improve children's positive perceptions of the future by examining the relationship between parental attachment, parental involvement in learning, and children's perceptions of the future, and by identifying the specific influence of each variable on children's perceptions of the future. Frequency analysis and descriptive statistical analysis were performed on data from the 12th year of the Korean Children's Panel (2019), and Pearson's moment correlation coefficient was calculated for correlation analysis between variables. Multiple regression analysis was performed to examine the explanatory power of parental attachment to children's perception of the future and parental participation in learning. The research results are as follows. First, the correlations among all the latent variables of parental attachment, parental participation in learning, and children's future perception showed significant correlations. Second, the explanatory power of children's perception of the future was found in the order of 'mother' trust, 'family'-based participation, 'father' trust, and 'mother' communication. These results suggested that parental trust and warm, warm participation in home-based learning were important variables in children's positive perception of the future.
