Objective: This study examined the relationship between child care teachers'job satisfaction, teacher-parent partnership, and teacher- child interaction in order to improve the quality of child care. Methods: Self-report questionnaires were used on 321 child care teachers and data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation and Structural Equation Modeling Analysis. Results: First, significant correlations existed among variables except the relationship between payment/promotion and other variables. The results showed that child care teachers'job satisfaction had a significant and direct influence on teacher-child interaction, and teachers' job satisfaction was partially mediated by teacher-parent partnership on teacher-child interaction. Conclusion/Implications: The findings confirm that teachers' job satisfaction and teacher-parent partnership are preceding factors for positive teacher-child interaction. Significant attention should be paid to child care teachers'psychological satisfaction and teacher-parent relationships to promote the quality of child care and the positive interaction between teachers and children.

The relationships of social support and parent-satisfaction to the mothers' parenting behaviors were examined in a sample of 235 mothers who have preschool-aged children. Mothers completed three kinds of questionnaires such as the perception of the social support, the parent-satisfaction comprised of five subscales, general satisfaction parent-child relationship, support of husband, parent role conflict, and support of child, and the parenting behaviors comprised of two subscales, warmth and control. Social support and parent-satisfaction were found to have significant influence on mothers' warmth. The more social support they perceived and the more parent-satisfaction they had, the warmer they were. But these variables were not significantly related to the mothers' control except two subscales of parent-satisfaction they had, the warmer they were. But these variables were not significantly related to the mothers' control except two subscales of parent-satisfaction, parent-child relationship and parent role conflict. the importance of social support was emphasized for yielding the positive parenting behaviors.

The purpose of this study was to identify the multiple mediating effects of time use satisfaction and morality on the relationship between children's parent-child relationships and cyberbullying perpetration. To achieve this a convenience sample of 465 fifth and sixth-grade students from six elementary schools located in D City and G Do Province was recruited. The data collected for this study were analyzed using IBM SPSS 27.0 and AMOS 23.0 programs for descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation analysis, and path analysis. The principal results were as follows. First, parent-child relationship significantly influenced time use satisfaction and morality. Additionally, children's time use satisfaction and morality were found to have a significant impact on cyberbullying perpetration. Secondly, in the relationship between parent-child relationships and cyberbullying perpetration, the total mediating effect of time use satisfaction and morality, as well as the individual mediating effects of time use satisfaction and morality, were also significant. These findings emphasize the significance of the parent-child relationship in addressing cyberbullying perpetration and suggest that both home and school education should guide children to use their time satisfactorily. Supplementing this, various educational programs should be developed to enhance children's morality.

The purpose of this study was to examine which aspects of coresident intergenerational relationships were associated with the life satisfaction of unmarried children in established adulthood and of their parents. In this study, the coresident relationship characteristics included support exchange, emotion, interference-conflict, and perceptions of coresidence. Data were collected from (a) 250 never-married adults who were 35+ years old and lived in Seoul with at least one parent aged 75 years or younger and (b) 250 older adults who were 75 years old or younger and had at least one unmarried child aged 35+ years living in the same household. Our multiple regression analysis of unmarried children showed that the adult child's financial support, the adult child's psychological reliance on parents, the parent's psychological reliance on the child, and relationship quality were significantly related to higher levels of life satisfaction. In contrast, the parent's daily interference, daily conflicts, and anticipation of future care of parents were related to lower levels of life satisfaction. Second, the characteristics that were positively associated with the parent's life satisfaction were the parent's instrumental support, relationship quality, the coresident child's daily interference, positive perceptions of intergenerational coresidence, and expectation of future care of parents. In contrast, the parent's financial support, daily conflicts with the child, and taking intergenerational coresidence for granted were negatively related to the parent's life satisfaction. This study advances our understanding of coresidence between unmarried children in established adulthood and their older parents by focusing on the multiple aspects of intergenerational coresidence.

Purpose: The purpose of this descriptive survey study was to characterize the relationship between clinical decision-making and job satisfaction among pediatric nurses and to elucidate the mediating effects of the nurse-parent partnership on that relationship. Methods: The subjects of the study were 174 nurses who had worked in a pediatric ward in a university hospital, general hospital, or children's hospital. Data were collected from June 20, 2016 to August 10, 2016 and analysed using descriptive statistics, the t-test, analysis of variance, the Pearson correlation coefficient, and three-step mediated regression analysis in SPSS version 22.0 for Windows. Results: The nurse-parent partnership had significant effects on clinical decision-making and job satisfaction, with an explanatory power of 19% and 26%, respectively. The nurse-parent partnership had a partial mediating effect on the relationship between clinical decision-making and job satisfaction (Sobel test: Z=4.31, p<.001). Conclusion: The nurse-parent partnership had a partial mediating effect on the relationship between clinical decision-making and job satisfaction among pediatric nurses. Therefore, in order to improve the job satisfaction of pediatric nurses, it is necessary to develop effective educational programs and strategies to address their clinical decision-making and their experiences of the nurse-parent partnership.

The purpose of the study was to investigate whether there were differences between the Paternal child rearing Involvement and the Parental Satisfaction according to child's sex, father's age and the birth order of child. The subjects surveyed were 271 fathers 132 in their thiries and 139 in their forties who live in Kwang-ju. And the children considered are 128 boys and 143 girls. Among them, first-born children are 143 members, second-born are 103, and third-born are 25. Factor analysis, frequencies, mean, standard deviation, Cronbach's α, one way-ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and step-wise regression are used for data-analysis. The main results were as follows : (1) There were some significant differences in the Paternal child rearing Involvement according to the child's sex, while there was no difference as related the father's age and the birth-order of child. (2) The were some significant differences in the father's Parental Satisfaction which is involved child's sex and the father's age, but there was no difference as to the birth-order of child. (3) There were some significant differences between the Paternal Child rearing Involvement and the Parental Satisfaction, and between its subfactor and the Parental Satisfaction, too. (4) The result of the step-wise regression, which analyses the Paternal child rearing Involvement and the background variables as to father's Parental Satisfaction, shows the Parent-child relationship variable (accounted for about32% of the general variation), spouse support, support of children, general satisfaction, and parent's role conflict at intensity in order. Of the above mentioned five fields, house-activities were the first factor in determining this order. And the personal interaction plays an important role in fulfilling general satisfaction and the support of children. The leisure-action factor was the second explanatory factor in establishing the parent-child relationship. Finally father's age was the fourth explanatory factor in assessing the parent-child relationship variable considering the background variables.

Relationship between parent and children is basic relation and initial relationship. It is essential research to explore relationship between parent's role satisfaction and children's health promotion in rapidly changing social situation influence parenting attitude. The purpose of this research to explore first mother's parenting belief, communication, filial piety by indepth interview and literature review. Method of research is literature review (books and articles) and Web site researching (home page) and contacted two mothers to do individual interview. Data was collected and analysed according to the objectives. The result of this study as follows. 1) It was problem that is child rearing and child education due to working parents. 2) It was discussed parent's belief regarding child rearing. The belief was influence by culture, social economic status, family friend and internet, advise of professionals. The subjects of this study was influenced by family, friend and internet Web site. 3) Parent-child communication was reviewed and discussed about influence of masmedia and early education system. Children's level of language development was rapidly improved by role play and read the book with mother. 4) It was discussed concept of filial piety. Parent was not expected filial piety from their children. Parent thought that they already received filial piety from their children, because children gave them pleasure and happiness during growing process. Parents want their children become mature person and adapt to informative changing society. Finally, it is needed further interdisciplinary study for parent-child health promotion and growth and development in rapidly changing society.

Purpose: This study was conducted to characterize the influence of achievement motivation and the parent-child relationship on ego identity in Korean nursing students. Methods: The participants were 217 Korean nursing students in the first and fourth year of university. Data were collected through self-report questionnaires composed of items assessing ego identity, achievement motivation, the parent-child relationship, and demographic characteristics. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, one-way analysis of variance, the $x^2$ test, and multinomial logistic regression analysis. Results: Ego identity was related to achievement motivation; moreover, the achievement motivation of students with moratorium and achieved identity status was significantly higher than that of students with low-profile moratorium and diffused identity statuses. Ego identity was not related to the mother-child relationship, but the father-child relationship of students in foreclosure was significantly higher than that of students with diffused identity status. The factors influencing achieved identity compared to diffused identity were achievement motivation, year in school, satisfaction with school, and having religious beliefs. Conclusion: These findings indicate that nursing students' ego identity attainment was more influenced by achievement motivation than by the parent-child relationship. It emphasizes that highly motivated students can develop their own identities regardless of the parent-child relationship.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to describe quality of life in school age children and the relationship between quality of life and parenting attitude as perceived by children and parent-child communication pattern. Methods: Data were collected between May 26 and June 3, 2009 using self-report questionnaires from 148 pairs of children and their parents. The children were enrolled in 4th to 6th grades. The questionnaires included the Parental Bonding Instrument (PBI), Parent-Child Communication (PCC) Scale, and Pediatric Quality of Life Inventory (PedsQL). The data were analyzed using the SPSS WIN 17.0 program. Results: The Quality of Life (QOL) score for the children was significantly higher among children reporting higher parental bonding attitude (mother r=.38, father r=.34) and parent-child communication (mother r=.43, father r=.36). Results of multiple regression showed that factors significantly associated with QOL were academic achievement, caregiver available after school, parent-child communication, school satisfaction, relationship with peers, and birth order among siblings. Conclusion: Positive relationships and good communication with parents and satisfaction with school life were important factors associated with quality of life in school age children.

This study investigates the relationship between Big 5 personality factors of food service employees and turnover intention and identifies the moderating effects of satisfactory parent-child relationship. A total of 179 data were subjected to frequency analysis and regression analysis. Participants were instructed to take an on-line survey which is google survey from August to October in 2017. The results of this study demonstrated that Big-5 personality factors excepted openness to experience influence on turnover intention. Furthermore, the parent-child relationship affects the relationship between Big-5 personality factors and turnover intention. This study may contribute to new data to human resource management.
