Pickup 렌즈의 사출조건이 복굴절 및 굴절율에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on Influence of Parameters and Characteristics in the Injection Process on the Birefringence and Refractive Index for Pickup Lens)

  • Injection molding process factors such as molding temperature, injection pressure, flow rate and flow velocity, must be controlled properly in filling and packing phases in the injection molding process. In this study, effects of these factors on the injection molding were investigated through the flow analysis for birefringence and refractive index for pickup lens. This paper presents the birefringence and refractive index reduced with increasing the holding pressure and also the holding pressure time. And there are interaction with birefringence and fill time in the injection process. The optimal conditions through DOE are validated by using injection molding analysis.

아이스슬러리의 분기관내 압력손실과 IPF 변화에 관한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study on Transformation of IPF and Pressure Drop in Branches with Ice Slurry)

  • This study aimed to understand the effects of transporting ice slurry Particles through Pipes with branches. The experimental apparatus was constructed as ice slurry mixing tank. vortex pump, manometers for differential pressure measuring. IPF(ice packing factor) measuring instruments and branches as test sections. The experiments were carried out under various conditions. with concentration of water solution ranging between 0∼20wt% and velocity of water solution at the entry ranging between 1.5∼2.5m/s. The differential Pressure and IPF between the pipe entry and exit were measured. and flowing form was checked throughout the experiment. The pressure loss in 3d branches appeared compared with 6d branches so that it was very high. In the pressure loss of the inside and outside of branches. 6d branches was showed the difference. but was agreed in 3d branches The pressure loss according to concentration of water solution, low value appeared at 10wt% in 6d branches, at 20wt% in 3d branches. The pressure loss according to velocity, did not show large difference. The change of IPF at outlet, appeared +15∼-25% in 6d branches and 0∼-20% in 3d branches. The difference of IPF at the inside and outside of branches. appeared 10∼15% in 6d branches and maximum 5% in 3d branches.

  • Casting behavior of Zr(Y,Ce)O2 TZP/Mullite suspension during pressure filtration was investigated to prepare multi-layered Functionally Gradient Materials(FGM). The dispersion stabilities of each layer suspension were investigated by examination of zeta potential and viscosity. The each suspensions with 20 vol.% solid loading and 100 첸 of viscosity was prepared after fix of the dispersing agent (Sodium hexa-meta phosphate) and the binder (Hydroxyethyl cellulose), and then the cakes were formed at the 2.5 MPa~10.0MPa pressure range. The cake thickness of all suspensions was increased with the square root of time at the constant pressure, and the relations between filtration pressure(P)a nd dehydration rate (Q=dh/dt) showed that the flows of filtrates in the consolidated layers were laminar. The permeabilities were nearly constant during filtration, and kozeny constants(Kc) of the suspensions were 4.8~6.7. These valumes were seen as close to 5, which might be homogeneous particle packing during filtration. On the basis of those data, the multi layered compaction with 9 mm thickness and 52.5% green density was prepared by continuous pressure filtration.

  • By introducing curing kinetics and chemo-rheology for the epoxy resin formulation for ultra-high voltage gas insulated switchgear (GIS) Insulating Spacers, a study was conducted to simulate the curing behavior, flow and warpage analysis for optimization of the molding process in automatic pressure gelation. The curing rate equation and chemo-rheology equation were set as fixed values for various factors and other physical property values, and the APG molding process conditions were entered into the Moldflow software to perform optimization numerical simulations of the three-phase insulating spacer. Changes in curing shrinkage according to pack pressure were observed under the optimized process conditions. As a result, it was confirmed that the residence time in the solid state was shortened due to the lowest curing reaction when the curing holding pressure was 3 bar, and the occurrence of deformation due to internal residual stress was minimized.

대면적 미세패턴 사출성형에서의 전사 특성 실험 (A study on the micro pattern replication properties of large area in injection molding)

  • We injection molded a thin plate with micro prism patterns on its surface and investigated the fidelity of replication of the micro pattern depending on the process parameter such as mold temperature, injection rate or packing pressure. The size of the $90^{\circ}$ prism pattern is $50{\mu}m$ and the size of the plate is $400mm{\times}400mm$. The thickness is 1mm. The fidelity of the replication turned out quite different according to the process parameters and location of the patterns of the plate. We measured the cavity pressure and temperature in real-time during the molding to analyze the effect of the local melt pressure and temperature on the micro pattern replication.

  • We injection molded a wedge type of plate with micro prizm patterns on its surface and investigated the fidelity of replication of the micro pattern depending on the process parameter such as mold temperature, melt temperature, injection rate or packing pressure. The size of the size of the $90^{\circ}$ prizm pattern is $50{\mu}m$ and the size of the plate is about 300㎜${\times}$200㎜. The thicknesses are 2.6㎜. and 0.7mm at each edge of the wedge type of plate. The fidelity of the replication turned out quite different according to the process parameters and location of the patterns on the plate. We measured the cavity pressure and temperature in real-time during the molding to analyze the effect of the local melt pressure and temperature on the micro pattern replication.

Family 금형의 충전 균형을 위한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study for the Filling Balance of the Family Mold)

  • It is well known that the family-mold has an advantage to reduce the cost for production and mold. However, defects are frequently occurred by over packing the smaller volume cavity during molding, especially when the family-mold has a volumetric difference between two cavities. In this study, the cavity-filling imbalance was confirmed by the temperature and the pressure sensors, and a variable-runner system was developed for balancing the cavity-filling. Experiments of balancing the cavity filling was carried out in the family-mold with the variable-runner system, and balancing the cavity-filling was confirmed by changing the cross-sectional area of a runner in the variable-runner system with the temperature and pressure sensors. The influence of the injection speed to the balancing-capability of the variable-runner system was also examined in the experiment.

  • In recent years, many researches on new storage media with high capacity and information are developing. For manufacture of optical storage with high capacity, the injection molding process is generally used. In order to increase the filling ratio of the injection molding structure, the injection molding process required for high injection pressure, packing pressure and temperature control of the mold. However, conventional injection molding process is difficult to increase the filling ratio using injection master with the range of several nanometers and high aspect ratio. In order to improve and increase filling ratio of nano-structure with high aspect ratio, the active temperature control of injection mold was used. Experimental conditions were used injection pressure, time and temperature. Consequently, by using the peltier device into injection mold, we carried out the efficient and active temperature control of mold at low cost.

흉부X선사진(胸部X線寫眞)에 나타나는 감감현상(減感現象)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究) (A Study on Appearances of Desensitized Phenomenon in Chest Roentgenography)

  • Roentgenographic film has to be handled with greatest care during removal from the packing, loading of the cassettes and loading of the hanger. In the case of prior to or after exposed film is handled with mechanical pressure in darkroom, the most common phenomena are desensitization or sensitization on roentgenographic film. In order to observe these defect occurring on, it, the author studied on change of the densities where the mechanical pressure reached to the roentgenographic film. 1. The optimal minimum and maximum densities in routine chest x-ray film are from 0.25 to 1.47 2. The dependence of the desensitization occurring on film upon the bent degree of film is in the portion to bent degree over $10^{\circ}$ 3. Appearances of the desensitization on film by the curved degree of film is inverse proportion to it's degree below intervals of 3cm. 4. The more unexposed film is bent with nail tip and is pressured with palm, the more desensitization it was appeared upon film size and pressure weight. 5. The most serious area of desensitization produced by many types of mechanical pressure is in the portion of lung apex and outside lung fields. 6. The tendency of desensitization due to mechanical pressure on unexposed film is more serious than sensitization on exposed film in the view of radiologic diagnosis.
