Obiectives : The purpose of this study was to develop PBL packages geared toward improving the problem-solving abilities, self-directed learning capabilities and communicative competency of dental hygienists, which were all required for dental hygienists to have in the dental field. Methods : After three PBL packages for a semester of oral health education were developed, the PBL packages were evaluated by an expert to determine what improvements should be made. Results : The findings of the study were as follows. The three PBL packages were based on real clinical situations and designed to have a different degree of difficulty and provide problems in the form of scenario for learners to solve in a self-directed manner. When the packages were assessed by an expert, the packages were expected to make a contribution to the improvement of the three different abilities on which this study focused, and the packages were found to be appropriate in general in terms of learning content and field applicability, though they needed some modifications. Thus, this study attempted to develop PBL packages and let an expert assess the packages in order to give some suggestions about the development of PBL packages. The packages developed in this study are expected to help boost the problem-solving abilities, self-directed learning capabilities and communicative competency of dental hygienists, which should all be possessed by dental hygienists in the dental field. Moreover, the packages were found to be conducive to the introduction of PBL in the field of dental hygiene. Conclusions : To ensure the successful application of the packages, dental hygiene students should be provided with the packages in situations similar to real clinical situations, and they should have an opportunity to practice dental hygiene duties.

Purpose: This study was to develop PBL packages geared toward fostering the problem-solving ability, self-directed learning capability and communicative competence of emergency medical technician students and to give some suggestions on the development of PBL packages of the approach based on the evaluation results of the packages by experts. Methods: First, real clinical situations that learners would be exposed to after graduation should be provided as examples when the packages are developed. Second, a variety of learning-facilitating tools should be offered to facilitate their understanding, because they don't yet gain plenty of clinical practice experiences. Third, they should be encouraged to have an energetic discussion in small group when the developed packages are applied. Conclusion: First, the packages developed in this study were just incorporated into some areas of a single course. In the future, the integration of an entire course or the development of a new course is required to attain the multiple learning objectives in the provided clinical situations. Second, this study attempted to develop the PBL packages to boost the problem-solving ability, self-directed learning capability and communicative competence of emergency medical technician students, and follow-up research should be implemented to finalize the packages based on the suggestions of the experts who evaluated them and to determine the effects of the packages.

In traditional electronic packages the die and the substrate are interconnected with fine wire. Wire bonding technology is limited to bond pads around the peripheral of the die. As the demand for I/O increases, there will be limitations with wire bonding technology.

Management science/operations research (MS/OR) educational software packages are widely used at the present time. Those software packages are expected to help students understand MS/OR techniques better. However, MS/OR educational software packages are often used as computational tools to obtain model solutions efficiently rather than as the tutoring software packages. Several possible reasons for the lack of effective tutoring capacity in MS/OR educational software packages are identified in this paper. The authors believe that the deficiency of tutoring capacity in those software is mainly due to technological limitations (computers and artificial intelligence) and the MS/OR professionals' perception about those software packages. Given technological limitations, feasible design and development approaches are provided to improve the tutoring effectiveness of MS/OR educational software packages.

When conducting a health screening, it is important to select the most appropriate hospitals for the screening items. There are various packages in the screening hospitals, and the screening items and price are very different for each package. In this paper, we provide a method of recommending the screening packages in consideration of the customer's preferences such as screening items and minimum matching ratio. First, after collecting package information of hospitals, information such as basic items and optional items in the package are extracted. Then, we determine whether the client's screening items exist in the basic item or optional item of the package and calculate the matching rate of the package. Finally, we recommend screening packages with the lowest price while meeting the minimum matching rate suggested by the client. For performance analysis, we implement a prototype for recommending screening packages and provide the experimental results. The performance analysis shows that the proposed approach provides a real-time response time and recommends appropriate packages.

Statistical data analysis using the statisticaal packages can be performed on the personal computers. But it is not easy to select a personal computer in which statisticians could run statistical packages. The paper discusses some of the minimum requirements of the personal computers to use statistical packages and how to choose good statistical packages with better numerical results and introduces the statistical packages which are available in the personal computers.

This paper investigates the importance and satisfaction levels according to factors on commercial Enterprise Resource Planning(ERP) packages in the view of end users when the ERP system is employed especially in SMEs. Considering the characteristics and functions of ERP packages, five factors (vendor, technology, function, A/S, price) are obtained based on the literature review. The proposed procedure consists of finding importance factors and satisfaction levels which support the selection of ERP packages for a certain SME. When a company tries to implement the ERP system, the findings in this paper suggest which ERP package is suitable for its own business environment.

Effect of modified atmosphere packaging conditions on quality changes of dry jujube was investigated. Dry jujubes with moisture content of 26.7% were packaged in PET/Al/PE film pouches with modified atmospheres. The tested packages include those with normal air, vacuum, CO2 flushing, N2 flushing and O2 scavenger. Packages were stored at 25$^{\circ}C$ for 6 months, during which ascorbic acid concentration, browning level, titratable acidity and surface color were measured. Generally modified atmosphere packages could improve quality retention of dry jujubes except that vacuum package resulted in large surface color change. CO2-flushed package showed the best quality retention of high ascorbic acid content and low browning during 112 days, but caused high amounts of ascorbic acid destruction and browning in longer storage. In all the modified atmosphere packages titratable acidity reached a maximum followed by decline and subsequent rise, while it increased linearly with time in normal air package. Considering ascorbic acid retention browning level and surface color changes during 112 days, the packages of CO2 flushing and N2 flushing were better than others.
