Although significant amount of research has been done to develop LED lamp packages for improved performance, no standard theories or guidelines have been established yet for designing LED lamp packages. In this paper, the photon extraction efficiency depending on both the InGaN/Sapphire LED chip structure and its attachment schemes for chip mounting has been analyzed by using the Monte Carlo photon simulation method. Based on the results of the analysis, we have derived guidelines for LED lamp package design, which can be utilized in industries or research institutes for designing new LED lamp packages optimized for particular applications.

Maintaining the required dimensional accuracy after springback becomes the main concern of sheet-forming die designers when formability is secured through beforehand tryouts. As a part to build guidelines for springback control in automobile frame forming, experiments are carried out to show the effects of process parameters, such as holding force, blank size, and lubrication, on corner angles of channels formed by U-bending or by square-cup drawing and trimming. The results predicted by a commercial FE package were compared with the experiment and the current limitations on springback evaluation were closely discussed.

NCS development for the treatment of waste oils from ship was carried out through steps such as analysis on characteristics, development of competency standard, utilizing package, and validation of industry sites. The results were as follows. Firstly, duty competency was classified as levels from 2 to 6. Educational training institutions were followed by 75 graduate schools, 73 universities, 54 colleges, and 37 high schools. Secondly, developed standards were consisted of duty and competency unit. The name of duty was the treatment of waste oils from ship and competency units were consisted of 8 items as classification of waste oils from ship, pickup and transport of waste oils from ship, warehousing of waste oils from ship to marine disposal company, transport of waste oils from ship to land, warehousing of waste oils from to disposal company, determination of disposal method and plant recycling treatment, and incineration treatment. 28 competency unit elements below 8 competency units were developed. Thirdly, utilizing package was developed into 3 areas of life-long career path, training criteria, and guidelines for exam according to national competency standards in order to develop development of labor's career and perform personal management such as hiring and promotion in industry sites.

The death toll of the elderly by accidents in 2007 takes 6.5% of total death toll. The lost income from this is estimated to be 17 trillion and 511 billion won. According to CISS of Korea Consumer Protection Board, the number of safety related accidents of the elderly at home in 2006 was 486 cases in 2006 and has gradually increased every year. This thesis created 115 guidelines at 14 spaces as facility evaluation index evaluating the aging friendliness of the facility and safety related accidents generated at elderly resident welfare facility, examined influence variables of safety related accidents with 191 elderly including demographic variable, physical skill variable, social psychological variable and facility environmental variables, and then verified relevance between safety accidents and each influence variable. As a result, it was verified through ANOVA test of SAS Package Program and $x^2$- test that facility environmental variable would be closely related to the accident. In this regard, this study newly proposes the facility standards of aging friendly facility by supplementing them with contents and guidelines of facility evaluation table as ways to reduce safety related facility of the elderly.

Fifteen years after the modernization of traditional markets, commercial facilities and some 1,000 markets across the country contacted arcade operators, there are no specific guidelines on installation standards, exact guidelines for public facilities, and guidelines on law, maintenance and management yet. Therefore, it is necessary to derive a plan that reflects the mindset of the market project and the users as basic planning data for making arcade remodeling of traditional markets more advanced. As a research method, case studies and surveys were conducted and the details are as follows. Through the case study, this study drew suggestions that were available and needed in Korea on the planning plan of arcade space in the developed traditional market and conducted user preference. The survey participants are 150 users of Daegu seomun market. In addition, the survey contents are approached with the concept of remodeling remuneration, so the total number of questions is 47 including 'accessibility', 'comfort', 'openness', 'safety' and 'integrity', which are five elements of the arcade plan. The survey method assessed the importance and satisfaction of each questionnaire on a 5-point scale, and the survey results were compared with technical statistics and means using the SPSS statistics package. The results of user awareness and image survey, in which the installation and remodeling of the ventilation system of the crosshairs are mentioned in the event of fire or in the case of daily ventilation, are important factors in safety. The user-conscious survey, analyzed in 'integrity', indicates that the use of multi-purpose space is required, and that the layout of street stalls and parking and user movements should be integrated. Mac of this study is going to present direction of remodeling plan and behavior analysis by analyzing user preference data for advanced remodeling of arcade in traditional markets.

Quality of Service(QoS) in the telecommunications can be evaluated by analyzing the opinion data which result from the surveyed opinions of respondents and quantify subjective satisfaction on the QoS from the customers' viewpoints. For analyzing the opinion data, MOS(mean opinion score) method and Cumulative Probability Curve method are often used. The methods are based on the scoring method, and therefore, have the intrinsic deficiency due to the assignment of arbitrary scores. In this paper, we propose an analysis method of the opinion data using logit models which can be used to analyze the ordinal categorical data without assigning arbitrary scores to customers' opinion, and develop an analysis procedure considering the usage of procedures provided by SAS(Statistical Analysis System) statistical package. By the proposed method, we can estimate the relationship between customer satisfaction and network performance parameters, and provide guidelines for network planning. In addition, the proposed method is compared with Cumulative Probability Curve method with respect to prediction errors.

The purpose of this study was to provide guidelines for the remodeling understanding the needs of apartment housing residents. In order to achieve our goal, questionnaire surveys were used. We sampled the questionnaire surveys of the households in Seoul whose apartments had been more than ten years and recently remodeled. The materials collected by a questionnaire survey were analyzed by examining the frequency, percentage on the SPSS/PC+ Statistics package. The results of the questionnaire survey were as follows: (1) Residents tend to demand better environment than an economics benefits from remodeling. (2) Residents wanted to have organized the remodeling group that can help to solve the problems concerning profit and loss among residents. (3) Residents wanted to be supported by government, expand loans from monetary organizations, and have a reserve fund for the remodeling.

Managing apartments is critical not only to handling the physical deterioration over time, but also to the quality of community life, social environment and ultimately residents' satisfaction with the housing environment. Therefore, this study aims at understanding residents' awareness of apartment management, and finding the relationship between management activities and residents' satisfaction and participation by comparing an apartment with active management and an apartment without it. This study examines 1) management activities of two subject apartment complexes, and 2) how management activities affect residents' participation and satisfaction. Surveys were conducted of the residents, and SPSS statistics package was utilized to analyze the survey data. This study found that management activities of apartment complex have positive influence on residents' participation and satisfaction with their housing environment. The results of this study can be utilized as basic materials to develop effective guidelines and manual from the perspective of environmental management of apartment houses, in order to improve the participation of the residents in the apartment management.

Transfer Molding is currently the most widely used process for encapsulation integrated circuits(;IC). Although the process has been introduced over 20 years ago, generating billions of parts each year, it is far from being optimized. With each new mold, epoxy mold, epoxy mold compound, and lead-frame, lengthy period and expensive qualification runs have to be performed to minimized defects ranging from wire sweep, incomplete fill, and internal voids etc. This studies describes how simulation can be applied to transfer molding to yield acceptable design and processing parameter. The non-isothermal filling of non-newtonian reactive epoxy molding compound(;EMC) in a multi-cavity mold is analyzed. Sensitivity analysis is conducted to investigate the influence of process deviations on the final molded profile. This study trend is carried out by following some heuristic process guidelines.

Many IT specialists say that ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) is the best way to manage resources in enterprise effectively. Actually lots of companies are using ERP solutions in the hope of getting competitiveness and employing global standard business practice. Wishing to take advantage of ERP S/W, companies have a preference for purchasing it and outsourcing ERP project. This paper is focusing on purchasing ERP S/W in business firms. This paper finds out what differences there are in purchasing ERP S/W for organization characteristics and building characteristics, and suggests some guidelines of S/W development to venders. The results would be strong implications for ERP vendors. Especially this paper identify what the reasons and the checkpoints are when firms introduce ERP S/W. To do this, this paper used empirical data obtained from companies in South Korea and analyzed it using statistical software.
