In this paper, the design criteria of future container crane for megaships are investigated. The current loading/unloading capacity of a typical container crane, roughly 30 moves/hr, is too law to meet the requirements of future super containerships, which are expected over 15,000 TEU. After examining the transition of containerships through the years and studying the research trend in developed countries, the specifications of the container crane that can Meet a 15,000 TEU containership are proposed. The structure, trolley and hoist mechanism, outreach, backreach, capacity, speeds, durability, and stability of the future container crane are described.

대학도서관 사서들의 전문성 강화를 위한 계속교육 프로그램의 개발 방향을 제시하기 위하여, 대학도서관 사서들을 대상으로 한 국내외 계속교육 프로그램과 관련 선행연구를 고찰하고, 우리나라 대학도서관 사서의 계속교육 현황과 요구를 조사하였다. 전국 대학도서관 사서의 33.3%를 체계적으로 표집하여 설문조사를 수행하였으며, 계속교육 참여경험과 만족도, 계속교육 주제, 계속교육 운영방법, 계속교육 프로그램 평가방법, 계속교육 활성화 방안, 참여요인 등에 대한 현황을 파악하고자 하였다. 수요분석 결과 첫째, 대학도서관 사서의 전문성 강화를 위해 참석했던 계속교육 유형 및 교육의 만족도는 그다지 높지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 교육요구 주제조사에서 도서관 홍보, 정보자원 및 지식콘텐츠 관리, 도서관환경변화와 적응에 대해 높은 요구도를 보였다. 셋째, 선호하는 계속교육 유형은 전문주제별 교육과 업무기능별 교육이었고, 가장 선호하는 교육기간은 일주일로 나타났다. 넷째, 계속교육의 활성화를 위해서는 교육내용의 전문성 증대, 지원체계확립, 교육수준의 다양화 등으로 나타났다.

Purpose: This study aims to examine the influence of vitamin D and calcium on depression and cognitive function of the elderly living alone in a city. Methods: The participants were registered in eight senior centers in S city and they had lived alone. Data were collected between November 28, 2014 and March 7, 2015. A total of 155 people participated in data collection to measure the serum vitamin D, the serum calcium, depression, and cognitive function. The data were analyzed with t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation and multiple regression analysis. Results: There were significant differences in depression according to gender and perceptions of health status. Depression correlated significantly with the serum calcium and perceptions of health status, and a stepwise regression analysis showed that the perceptions of health status were significant. There were significant differences in cognitive function according to education level and age. Cognitive function correlated significantly with the serum vitamin D and a stepwise regression analysis showed that education level and age were significant. Conclusion: Consequently, elderly people with poor perceptions of their health status need a depressive intervention program and those with a higher age and lower level of education need a cognitive function intervention program.

본 연구는 보존기록관리기관 웹사이트에서 제공하는 온라인 기록정보콘텐츠의 사례를 분석하고 그 유형과 특징을 정리하여 기록관리기관이 콘텐츠 개발에 참고할 수 있는 시사점을 도출하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 선행연구를 통해 온라인 기록정보콘텐츠의 개념을 정의하였으며, 미국과 영국, 호주의 국립기록관과 우리나라의 국가기록원 웹사이트에서 제공하는 온라인 기록정보콘텐츠 사례를 조사하였다. 콘텐츠의 주요 목적과 구조, 콘텐츠와 이용자의 관계에 따라 온라인 기록정보콘텐츠의 유형을 분류하였고, 유형별 및 국가별로 온라인 기록정보콘텐츠가 갖는 구조적 내용적 측면의 특징을 정리하였다.

기록관은 다양한 확장서비스 방법들을 활용하여 이용자들에게 홍보를 해야 한다. 그중에서도 견학은 유용한 서비스 방법이나, 기록관 견학에 대한 연구는 거의 없었다. 본 연구는 기록관 견학에 대해 연구하고 바람직한 프로그램을 제안해보기 위해, 대통령기록관을 사례로 연구를 진행하였다. 이를 위해 미국 대통령기록관 네 곳의 사례를 살펴보고 분석하였으며, 국내의 유사기관으로 견학프로그램을 제공하고 있는 김대중 도서관, 외교부 외교사료관과 국립중앙도서관의 견학 프로그램을 살펴보았다. 그리고 현재 대통령기록관에서 제공하고 있는 견학 프로그램을 살펴보고 분석하여 제한점을 확인하였다. 그리고 곧 세종특별시에 단독청사로 이전할 대통령기록관의 특성을 반영하여 다양한 이용자를 대상으로 한 바람직한 견학프로그램 구성 방향을 제시하였다.

Purpose: This study was done to determine if osteoarthritis (OA) patients living in rural Korea would have a benefit from a structured group program focused on self-help strategies. Methods: A hundred and twenty-six patients with OA were recruited from nine Primary Health Care Posts. The experimental group received a 6-week self-help education program while the control group received usual care. T-tests and c2-tests were used to determine the homogeneity between the experimental and control groups. Independent sample t-tests were performed to determine the effect of the treatment program. To guard against such likelihood, the level of significance of t-test was determined by Bonferroni correction within the study constructs. When significant group differences were found in study variables at baseline, analysis of covariances (ANCOVAs) were used for group comparisons of outcome variables. Results: The experimental group reported more significant improvement in fatigue, difficulty with physical activity, depression, quality of life, self-efficacy, and health behaviors than did the control group. The experimental group also showed improvements in range of motion and muscle strength as compared to the control group. Conclusion: A self-help group education program was an effective and powerful strategy to promote physical and psychosocial health in OA patients

Background The prevalence of flap necrosis after palatoplasty in patients with cleft palate. The prevalence of mucoperiosteal flap necrosis after palatoplasty remains unknown, and this complication is rare. This event is highly undesirable for both the patient and the surgeon. We present here a new scale to evaluate the degree of hypoplasia of the palate and identify patients with cleft palate at high risk for the development of this complication. Methods In this case series, a 20-year retrospective analysis (1994-2014) identified patients from our records (medical records and screening day registries) with nonsyndromic cleft palate who underwent operations at 3 centers. All of these patients underwent operations using 2-flap palatoplasty and also underwent a physical examination with photographs and documentation of the presence of palatal flap necrosis after primary palatoplasty. Results Palatal flap necrosis was observed in 4 cases out of 1,174 palatoplasties performed at these centers. The observed prevalence of palatal flap necrosis in these groups was 0.34%. Conclusions The prevalence of flap necrosis can be reduced by careful preoperative planning, and prevention is possible. The scale proposed here may help to prevent this complication; however, further studies are necessary to validate its utility.

본고에서는 2009 대전국제우주대회의 개최 결과 및 유치 성과를 정리하였다. 지난 10월 대전에서 개최된 국제우주대회는 72개국 4,000명 이상의 국내외 우주 전문가와 학생들이 참석한 가운데 역대 최고 대회로 성황리에 막을 내렸다. 이번 대회 개최는 우리나라의 우주개발 활동에 대한 국제적 인지도를 향상시키고 신흥 우주국으로서의 우리나라의 위상을 강화하는데 기여하였을 뿐 아니라, 전략적 국제협력을 강화하기 위한 저변을 확대를 위한 중요한 밑거름이 되었다. 또한 대회 개최를 계기로 국내 젊은 우주 인력의 양성을 지원하고 및 국민의 우주활동에 대한 이해를 증진시킬 수 있었다.

어린이천문대는 2003년부터 15년간 어린이들의 천문지식 함양과 과학탐구 능력의 향상을 도모하기 위해 수준별 3단계 프로그램을 연구 개발해왔다. 우리의 3단계 천문교육 시스템은 저학년을 대상으로 한 체험교실, 고학년을 대상으로 한 탐구교실, 그리고 탐구교실을 수료한 학생들을 위한 심화 단계인 테마교실로 이루어져 있다. 단계별 교재, 교보재, 관측실험 및 시각자료의 개발을 통해 프로그램의 완성도를 높여왔다. 우리의 천문교육 프로그램으로 교육된 누적 인원은 모두 67986명(2018년 3월 31일 기준)에 달한다. 그중 천문학 진출 사례로는 페리지로켓의 신동윤 대표와 다수의 천문학 전공 학생들이 있다. 전문적인 초등학생 천문교육 프로그램의 지속적인 연구개발을 통해 대한민국 천문학 대중화에 이바지할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

This paper is built upon an attempt to answer the question: "What can be done to facilitate social integration between the elderly of Bagac, Bataan and the communication students of St. Paul University Manila?" The research was designed as a qualitative inquiry that involved an outreach activity by 24 dominantly female students of Development Communication to the senior citizens of Bagac, Bataan (Philippines) and a reflection period involving the students. The students were tasked to pay special attention to the digital engagements and/or disengagements of the elderly to allow them to learn more about the difficulties and potential of using social media in development-related projects involving senior citizens. The actual two-hour encounter involved socialization between the elderly and the students. The students, prior to the encounter, were tasked to generate the funds, use them to acquire and prepare the gifts, develop the program during the actual encounter based on research-based guidelines, and photo document the entire activity. They were given guide questions for reflections a week after. The reflections were thematically analyzed and revealed that in order to facilitate greater social integration between the elderly and the communication students. The university should address the health and digital aversion issues that intensify the sense of isolation of the elderly experience daily. This can be done by enhancing the communication skills of the communication students in 16 areas.
