The properties of Low-heat cement are especially in lower heat of hydration than that of other types of cement. In other respect, Low-heat concrete is more advantageous than OPC concrete in chemical resistance, long term age compressive strength, slump loss and resistance to seawater. This paper deals with 28 days age compressive strength and slump loss by elapsed time of mortar and concrete that made with Low-heat cement and 3 types of other cement.

Two PVY strains (PVY-VB and PVY-VN) isolated from tobacco in Korea were compared for their serological relationship with other 8 strains which were obtained from tobacco or potato in different countries. One of these strains, PVY-Argentina showed the spur reaction to PVY-VB and PVY-VN antisera in SDS-agar gel double diffusion plates. The two Korean PVY strains were closely related to other strains except for one, PVY-Argentina when antigen-antibody reciprocal absorption tests were conducted. It is suggested that the strain, PVY-Argentina, is a new serotype containing a specific antigenic site different from other 9 strains tested.

Air space disorders are usually considered medical diseases, although some patients with air space disorders can benefit from surgical intervention. Recently we experienced two cases of bullous emphysema. One case is large bilateral apical bullae and the other is infected large bulls of RUL with bullous emphysema. The patient with large bilateral apical bullae underwent simultaneous operation via bilateral thoracotomy and other patient underwent simultaneous bilateral operation via median sternotomy. Postoperatively, the patient with large bilateral apical bullae showed subjective as well as objective improvement and other patient is resulted subjective improvement.

The drive efficiency is investigated with drawbar pull test to provide the basic data in the gradability and acceleration of the wheeled vehicle. This study investigated the effect of socio-demographic variables and the ownership of asset and the other types of debts on the use of a specific type of household debt. Household debts were categorized into six types according to borrowing sources: debts from banks, other financial institutes, employers, private sources, Gye, and retailers. The 1996 Korean Household Panel Study were analyzed using logistic model. It was found that socio-demographic factors influenced differently on the probabilities of debt holdings according to the types of debt. There were interrelationships among the ownerships of a specific type of debt and other types of debt and asset.

The railway station is an important intermodal network point of the railway passengers who use the other transportation means and go to the destination. So at the railway station, the device of various intermodal transfer information is needed to transfer the other transportation means. In this paper, we study the passing characteristics of transfer traffic line of the passengers of railway station and the status of information provision for use of transfer facility and we describe the strategies of information provision according to the necessary intermodal transfer to use the other transportation means.

This Paper examines the meaning of Privacy within the content of cultural background of the traditional Korean society, identifying some of the relationships between desired levels of privacy and the situational centingencies of self - other concept along with the relationships between the privacy control mechanism and the cultural norms, This paper discusses several important dimensions, including1) the traditional values, 2) the norms of family life, 3) the children education in the household environment, 4) the `self - other` concept, and5) the privacy control mechanism.

Developing a public transportation guidance system requires the following aspects: (i) people may change transportation means not only within the same type but also among different modes such as between buses and subways, and (ii) the system should take into account the time taken in transfer from one mode to the other. This study suggest the framework for developing a public transportation guidance system that generates optimized paths in the transportation network of mixed means including buses, subways and other modes. For this study, the Genetic Algorithms are used to find the best routes that take into account transfer time and other servicetime constraints.

Tea is a pleasant, popular and safe beverage in the world. During the past decade, epidemiological studies have shown that tea catechins intake is associated with lower risk of cardiovascular disease. Tea provides a dietary source of health-promoting components to help humans reduce a wide variety of cancer risks and chronic diseases. The antioxidative activity of tea-derived catchins has been extensively studied. The antioxidant effect is a synergistic action between catechins e.g. EGCG, EGC, ECG, EC, pheophytins a and b, and other components in tea leaves, which aye more bioavailable for human body. Green tea has a Higher content of catechins than other kinds of tea. Green tea extract with hot water has high potential and more efficiency to reduce cancer risk than any other tea products or pure EGCG. Protein, iyon, and other food components may interfere with the bioavailability of ten catechins. Interaction of catechins with drug affects the cancer-preventive activity of some cancer-fighting medication. Further studies are required to determine the bioavailability of tea catechins and cancer-preventive functionality.

In this paper, we describe an image processing algorithm which is able to recognize the road lane. This algorithm performs to recognize the interrelation between AGV and the other vehicle. We experimented on AGV driving test with color CCD camera which is setup on the top of vehicle and acquires the digital signal. This paper is composed of two parts. One is image preprocessing part to measure the condition of the condition of the lane and vehicle. This finds the information of lines using RGB ratio cutting algorithm, the edge detection and Hough transform. The other obtains the situation of other vehicles using the image processing and viewport. At first, 2 dimension image information derived from vision sensor is interpreted to the 3 dimension information by the angle and position of the CCD camera. Through these processes, if vehicle knows the driving conditions which are lane angle, distance error and real position of other vehicles, we should calculate the reference steering angle.
