학습프로세스 측정도구 개발 (The Development of Measures for Learning Processes)

  • 성공적으로 IT 프로젝트를 수행하기 위해서, IT 컨설턴트의 역량은 매우 중요하다. 특히, 학습 프로세스는 IT 프로젝트를 수행하는 동안 발생할 수 있는 다양한 핵심 이슈들을 해결하기 위해 필요하다. 본 연구의 목적은 바로 이러한 학습 프로세스를 측정할 수 있는 측정도구를 개발하는 것이다. 학습 프로세스의 측정도구를 수립하기에 앞서, 3회에 걸쳐 20년 이상 IT 프로젝트 수행경험이 있는 IT 컨설턴트와 인터뷰를 수행하였다. IT 프로젝트 전문가와의 인터뷰를 통해, 본 연구는 설문 항목을 개발하고 측정도구를 검정하였다.

수출기업의 시장지향성 및 학습지향성이 성과에 미치는 영향 - 기업의 정보기술 활용을 중심으로 - (The Relationships among Market Orientation, Learning Orientation, IT Support for Resource, IT Support for Strategy, and Performance in Export Firms)

  • In this study, we investigate the relationships among organizational market orientation, learning orientation, information technology(IT) support for firm resource, IT support for strategy, and balanced scorecard(BSC) performance in export firms. The development of the research model is based on the empirical studies of strategy and resource-based view. The data from the survey was analyzed using Partial Least Squares(PLS). The results from the empirical model suggest that IT support for firm resource is effected by market orientation and learning orientation. And, IT support for strategy is enhanced by IT support for firm resource. Finally, BSC performance of export firms is effected by IT support for strategy.

A study on the impacts of informal networks on knowledge diffusion in knowledge management

  • Knowledge management has garnered attention due to its role of maintaining competitive advantage. Creating and sharing knowledge is an essential part of managing knowledge. However, the best knowledge is underutilized because employees tend to seek knowledge through their informal networks, not reach out to other sources for obtaining the best knowledge. Prior studies on informal networks pointed out a negative influence of heavy reliance on learning through informal networks but they paid little attention to a structure of informal networks and its impacts on diffusion of knowledge. The aim of our study is to show impacts of informal network on knowledge management by employing a network structure and investigating diffusion of knowledge within it. Our study found out that performance of learning becomes lower in a highly clustered network. Creating random links such as serendipitous learning can improve performance of knowledge management. When employees rely on a knowledge management system, creating random links is not necessary. Costs of adopting knowledge affect performance of knowledge management.

  • 본 논문은 공학기초설계 과목에서의, 사이버강좌를 통한 교육에서의 튜터의 역할에 관해서 논한다. 창의설계과목은 학생들과의 피드백이 매우 중요한 교과목으로서, 튜터와 교수, 학생간의 역할이 정확히 정립되어 있어야 함이 매우 중요하다. 이 논문에서는 튜터의 역할 중 교수법, 선후배간 유대관계, 관리차원과 기술적인 측면에서의 튜터들의 역할을 논의하고 있으며, 학생들의 참여도를 향상시킬 수 있는 튜터 활용의 중요성을 논하고 있다.

지식의 탐색(Exploration)과 활용(Exploitation)이 개방형협업의 성과에 미치는 영향: 오픈소스 소프트웨어 개발 프로젝트를 중심으로 (Impacts of Exploitation and Exploration on Performance of Open Collaboration: Focus on Open Source Software Development Project)

  • With rapid development of information and communication technologies, open collaboration can be eased through the Internet. Open source software, as a representative area of open collaboration, is developed and adopted to various fields. In this research, based on organizational learning theory, we examine the impacts of exploration and exploitation on innovation performance in open source software development projects. We define knowledge exploration as a number of developers from outside organization and knowledge exploitation as the ratio of member of an organization who participated in an open source software project managed by the organization. For analysis, we collect data of 4794 projects from github which is a representative open source software development platform using Web crawler developed by Python. As a result, we find that excessive exploration has curvilinear (invers U-shape) relationship on project performance. On the other hand, exploitation with enough external developers will positively impact on project performance.

서비스 기업의 고객지향적 품질분임조 활동이 기업성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Effect of Customer-Oriented Quality Circle Activities on Business Performance for Service Firms)

  • Purpose: The paper analyzes empirically the causal relationship between customer-oriented Quality circle activities and Business Performance for Korean service firms. We compare the operational characteristic behavior of the service firms and business performance. Methods: In this study, we used 3 variables, QC activities, Employee commitment and business performance. Especially, Service SME's QC Circle activities were analyzed in related with growth of company on the basis activities such as Leadership(team), improvement activity, Organizational learning, customer-focus activity and employee suggestion. Results: The result of analysis showed that employee commitment affected significantly on financial performance and non-financial performance and in turn, improvement activities, Organizational learning and customer-focus activity affected significantly on business performance (financial and non-financial). Conclusion: In the summary of the characteristics of this study based on the research results, first, segmenting the QCC activities in the service business into 5 elements can be considered to be differentiated from the existing researches in the aspect of utilizing the organization's objective-oriented variables differently from the researches utilized the variables related personal characteristics. Second, this study suggested the recent research results that suggested the problems of the QCC clearly, through which what new QC story approach was suggested has working level value in the aspect of activating the service QCC.

  • 단계형, 수준별 교육과정의 효율적인 운영을 위해서는 개별화 학습이 가능하도록 자기 주도적 학습 시스템이 구축되어야 한다, 이러한 시스템 구축을 통한 교육과정의 효과적 운영과 교수-학습의 질적 향상을 도모할 수 있는 방안의 하나로 초등수학 전자 교과서 개발은 중요한 의미를 갖는다. 본 연구에서는 초등 수학 전자 교과서의 구성 및 개발 전략에 대한 기본 방향을 설정하고, 이러한 기본 방향에 기초하여 유사 자료 사례 분석, 내용 분석, 기능 분석을 통해 종합적인 초등 수학 전자 교과서의 구성 모델을 제시하였다. 또한 실제적인 개발 전략의 일환으로 단계적 개발 모형과 컨텐트 확보 방안도 함께 제시하였다.

The Technology Readiness of Thai Governmental Agency

  • The paper aims to analyze the factors influencing the digital technology readiness of the governmental agency in Thailand, namely the Office of the Welfare Promotion Commission for Teachers and Educational Personnel (OTEP). This paper discusses challenges regarding the technology readiness of OTEP, which is taken as a case study for Thai governmental agencies. Data is collected through questionnaires distributed from October to December 2020. With a population of 777 OTEP staff, 534 employees are the respondents of this study. The study employs correlation, multiple linear regression, and structural equation modeling to analyze the data. The dependent variable is the digital technology readiness, while the independent variables are age, technology literacy, technology experience, attitude, organizational culture, leadership, and learning facilities. One of the principal findings is that the digital technology readiness of OTEP is at a moderate level. In addition, learning facilities, technology literacy, leadership, and organizational culture are found to be statistically significant for digital technology readiness. The findings highlight the issues and obstacles associated with encouraging human resource development, notably in the field of digital technology. Adopting digital technology to give better services to a large scale of customers is challenging for most large governmental enterprises, considering OTEP as a wonderful example for organizations under government oversight.

Green Human Resources Management and Its Impact on Supply Chain and Business Performance: An Empirical Study in Indonesia

  • This study focuses on green human resources management (GHRM), which is currently a strategic issue in almost every service or manufacturing company, including courier service SMEs in Indonesia. This study intends to analyze the relationship between GHRM and supply chain organizational learning (SCOL), supply chain performance (SCP), and business performance (BP) still rarely studied. The population encompasses all courier service SMEs in the Special Province of Yogyakarta (DIY) and East Java, Indonesia. The study targets courier service SMEs that meet certain conditions; 130 SMEs responded from the target of 200 SMEs. Partial Least Square statistical technique is used. The results show that conventional HRM practices are increasingly being abandoned by courier companies in Indonesia, particularly in Special Province of Yogyakarta and East Java. Although GHRM has a negative and non-significant effect on BP, GHRM has a positive effect on SCOL and SCP. SCOL has a significant positive effect on SCP and BP. Furthermore, SCOL mediates the relationship between GHRM and SCP and SCOL mediates the relationship between GHRM and BP. Likewise, SCP has a positive effect on BP. In addition, SCP mediates the relationship between GHRM and BP. SCP also mediates the relationship between SCOL and BP.

Work life balance practices and the link to innovation and productivity: A comprehensive literature review

  • Purpose - This paper is to review recent literature, by conducting a thorough investigation of the limitations and implications for future research on work-life balance with the focus and linkages between work-life balance practices, machine learning and emotional intelligence, work-life conflict, the correlations between work-life enrichment and work-life balance practices, the relationships between employee job satisfaction and work-life balance, the links between work-life balance and the managerial support. Research design, data, and methodology - The paper will further detail linkages between work-life balance and organizational performance outcomes productivity and innovation. Previous literatures have paid attentions to the link of HR practices and organizational outcomes such as productivity, flexibility, and financial performance, but the understanding needs to be extended to involve innovation performance. Dealing with employees' emotions using different machine learning techniques is one of the phenomenal researches in today's world. Here, we examine how far the employees are conscious of their own self and found the ideas and views of an individual about themselves and others. Without proper knowledge about their personality it will be very difficult for an individual to manage their own emotions. This study also aims at finding out the individual abilities to manage their emotions in order to perform well. Conclusions - A theoretical conceptual framework has been built by integrating the existing literature to explain a number of factors which are closely associated with work-life balance. The conceptual model illustrates how the work-life balance interplays with performance and interrelates with the aforementioned factors.
