The government developed National Competency Standards and expands field friendly education for innovation of industrial field based education training. NCS is the national level of standards that the government systemized knowledge, skills and attitudes required to work in industrial fields by each industry and each level. This study was intended to research NCS education contents of an introduction of dental hygienics, which is a basic major subject among subjects of dental hygiene course, to present learning goals accordingly, and to be used as a basic resource of NCS field oriented classes of dental hygienists through the comparison before and after. In case of the dental hygiene course, dental hygienists are performing important core tasks as clinicians at dental offices. Therefore, such comprehensive and professional performance abilities as scaling, oral prophylaxis and oral health education are required at the fields. The education process and education contents for this should be researched continuously.

The purpose of this study was to examine the oral health behavior and awareness of teachers in community children's centers, the state of oral health care among children in the centers and the opinions of the teachers on child oral health education in a bid to gather information required for the development of oral health education programs geared toward community children's center teachers. The subjects in this study were 178 teachers who worked in 98 community children's centers in the city of Incheon. After a survey was conducted from April 28 to June 4, 2010, the collected data were analyzed. The findings of the study were as follows: The 57.3% of the teachers investigated provided toothbrushing guidance from time to time or couldn't do it at all. As for the reason why toothbrushing guidance was scarcely conducted, the largest group cited shortage of sinks(27.5%) as the reason, and the second biggest group replied they couldn't afford to pay attention to that due to heavy workload(20.6%). The third greatest group was pressed for time(16.7%). The teachers got a mean of 3.27 in oral health behavior, and 87.7% were concerned about children's oral health. The group of teachers who ever received oral health education was significantly better at oral health behavior and showed significant more interest in oral health(p<0.01). The 97.2% of the respondents considered oral health important. Concerning the reason, they replied it was crucial for systemic health (74.2%). The 89.4% of the teachers viewed child oral health education as necessary, and 86.5% had an intention to provide oral health education for children. They hoped to receive education on the oral health control act(4.52) and the prevention of dental caries(4.40). The above-mentioned findings confirmed that in order to step up the oral health promotion of child users of local children's centers, it's necessary to provide secondhand education for them through their teachers who have a great impact on them. Therefore the development of oral health education programs that cater to local children's center teachers is required.

The M. bass method shows much greater effect of halitosis amongst 3 kind of method. PI for Self test method and Tooth pick method show decreasing effect. Decreasing effect during education shows until 2nd week by 3 kind of method, but it shows no differences after 3rd week. VSC(ppb) for M. bass method and Tooth pick method show decreasing effect. Decreasing effect during education shows after 3rd week by 3 kind of method, but it shows no differences until 2nd week. PHP for Self test method, M. bass method and Tooth pick method show decreasing effect after 2nd week during education. But, there is no differences of decreasing effect by among 3 kind of method. The oral health belief consisted of 25 questions including susceptibility, seriousness, barriers, benefit, and self-efficacy using Likert 5 scale. The reliability of Cronbach's alpha in the study was 0.725. Data were analyzed using SPSS ver 18.0 for frequency analysis, t-test, ANOVA, ${\chi}^2$-test, and Pearson's correlation coefficient, simple regression, and binary logistic regression. Results: Oral health beliefs of middle and high school students affected the oral health behaviors. Susceptibility, barriers and self-efficacy also influenced on the oral health behaviors. In order to provide the best oral health education, susceptibility and self-efficacy are the primary factors to increase motivation because the motivation endows the students with correction of oral health behaviors that improve the knowledge, attitudes, and decrease barriers in oral hygiene. The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of maternal socioeconomic status, maternal oral health behaviors, and oral health behaviors of children, on the prevalence of early childhood caries in children aged 5 years. The Korean National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey data collected between 2007 and 2014 were applied to this study, and the study sample included 824 children who received oral examinations and participated in the health behavior survey. The factor that affected the prevalence of early childhood caries were confirmed by maternal and child factors. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The mothers' age, income level, and job status affected the prevalence of early childhood caries. There was a significant difference in the analysis considering the factors of motherhood and children in the prevalence of early childhood caries according to mother's age, education level, income level, and the child's oral examination. The prevalence of early childhood caries was higher in children who received oral examinations than in those who did not. When the mother's educational level was higher than college education, it was found that the index of child, i.e., there was a difference in the prevalence of early childhood caries according to the mother's educational and income levels. These results indicate that maternal socioeconomic characteristics are correlated with the oral health of children. Therefore, oral health education programs that include mothers for the prevention of early dental caries in children may improve the dental health of children. In addition, specific oral health policies are necessary to address the differences in the oral health between the income groups.
