IoT-based services are being released in accordance with the aging population and the demand for well-being pursuit needs. In addition to medical device companies, companies with ideas ranging from global ICT companies to startup companies are accelerating their market entry. The areas where these services are most commonly applied are health/medical, life/safety, city/energy, automotive and transportation. Furthermore, by expanding IoT technology convergence into the area of life care services, it contributes greatly to the development of service models in the public sector. It also provides an important opportunity for IoT-related companies to open up new markets. By addressing the problems of life care services that are still insufficient. We are providing opportunities to pursue the common interests of both users and workers and improve the quality of life. In order to establish IoT-based digital life care services, it is necessary to develop convergence technologies using cloud computing systems, big data analytics, medical information, and smart healthcare infrastructure.

This study examines how open-ended tasks can be implemented with the support of redefined learning goals and teaching practices from a student-centered perspective. In order to apply open-ended tasks, learning goals should be adopted by individual student's cognitive levels in the classroom context rather than by designated goals from curriculum. Equitable opportunities to share children's mathematical ideas are also attainable through flexible management of lesson-time. Eventually, students can foster their meta-cognition in the process of abstraction of what they've learned through discussions facilitated by teachers. A pedagogical implication for professional development is that teachers need to improve additional teaching practices such as how to tailor tasks relevant to their classroom context and how to set norms for students to appreciate peer's mathematical ideas in the discussions.

With the advancement of the digital convergence of content and platform, Korean film industry sees good opportunities of maximizing the profits and increased distribution opportunities by independent film makers. Nevertheless, the domestic film market almost entirely relies on the box office sales, which seems to be caused by the stagnation of new additional copyright market. The study aims to address the following problems: First, information asymmetry of the revenues to which the contents providers and the service providers are exposed leads to the distrust among digital film contents businesses and the disadvantages to film makers and investors, in particular. Secondly, the VOD(Video on Demand) market of film industry is adversely affected by the illegal uploads and downloads of film contents, which harms the formation of paid additional market. Based on the examination of current legislation and policy options addressing these issues, the study suggests legislative accomodations and cultural industry policy alternatives to promote the additional market of film industry.

This paper designed and developed internet based competency developing system for small IT (Information & Technology) companies. The purpose of this system was to provide career development opportunities to small IT business workers for their longstanding employment and self-improvement job skills. This study analyzed job competencies based on job descriptions from two IT companies. The survey was conducted to analyze employees' self-assessed current job competency level and effective ways of improving their current level of competencies. From the results of survey, most of subjects indicated their job competencies were in between mid-level to low level, and they required the need of training programs to improve their job knowledge and experience. Based on the interview from field experts about job competency development, this study designed and developed the internet based competency development system to provide effective and efficient way of improving job competencies and needed training programs for small IT business employees.

The mission of the police as described by law is to guard the life, body and property of all citizens. Such duties should be accurately performed based on legal and democratic procedures because the works of the police are directively influencing the overall lives of the citizens by restricting their freedom. We are frequently watching the traffic police on the street or road. Traffic policing aims to reduce crime and the opportunities for criminal activity in relation to the use of roads, that is to improve road user behavior in order to reduce accidents. The characteristics of traffic accident change is not similar in each traffic condition. The purpose of this study is to analysis a type characteristics of traffic accident change, such as number of deaths and wounded persons by the time, the vehicle, the type the road, the age group. Based on the characteristics of traffic accident change, traffic accident countermeasures are proposed, in which some variable of traffic policies such as traffic facilities, traffic regulation, and traffic safety education.

Railway system which has latent loss of lives and property by big accident with that human error such as locomotive driver, manager, signaller, and the others involved. So human error management is needed to control this complex system and to confirm safety of it. Rail human error research for managing human resource has grown rapidly in both quantity and quality of output over the past few years. The continual influences of safety concerns, new technical system opportunities, reorganization of the business, needs to increase effective, reliable and safe use of capacity, and increased society, media and government interest have now accelerated rail human factors research programmes in several countries. The objective of this research is to improve safety and to reduce accidents in korean railway system, through the application of research results to the investigation of requirement for human error.

This study reviews policies related to children's play which are being implemented by the UK at a national level from 2008 to 2020. The Department for Children, Schools, and Families, in cooperations with other central government departments and professional organizations, are developing and implementing the strategy. The purpose of the strategy is to improve play opportunities for all children and young people in England by raising the value and status of play in every community. This study examines the strategy by focusing on firstly, the purpose, vision, and steps to be undertaken; secondly, the methods used and the participating organizations; and thirdly, the legal, social, and academic basis upon which the strategy is founded. By way of conclusion, the researcher argues that we need to consider and learn from the case of the UK to come up with desirable polices for children's education and well-being.

Research into the use of recreation forest accommodations, the main facilities in these forests, and user satisfaction with them has been carried out for recreation forests in the suburbs of Daegusi and Gyongsangbukdo. This study aimed at providing background material to support the increasing demand to improve the facilities of recreation forests and to educate recreation forest staff about how to provide better service. User satisfaction with recreation forests as determined through regression analysis was affected by the following factors in this order: indoor recreation, the indoor space, outdoor recreation, time satisfaction factor, and activity opportunities. The level of satisfaction is affected by the force of factors above. The order of effective offerings of accommodations is presented according to the results.

Especially over the last two decades, the birth and unprecedented growth of wireless is really marvelous and further holds tremendous promise into the future. This wireless and emerging technologies will offer extensive opportunities to handle many ITS user services, and alter many of the traditional paradigms of transportation.

The World-Wide Web provides new opportunities for cyber education over the internet. The web, when combined with other network tools, can be used to provide useful educational information to learners. Thus, the objective of this paper is to develop Java applets for understanding the principles of electronic circuits on the internet. Some sample Java applets are illustrated as an example. The results of this paper can be widely used to improve the efficiency of cyberlectures in the cyber university.
