부산지역 양호교사의 업무분석에 관한 연구 (A Study on the analysis of activities of t?e 5.H.T. (5.H.T. in Pusan City))

  • The purpose of this study was to find out the general characteristics of school health teachers, the status of school health resources and the degrees of self-confident performance for the 124 school health teachers in Pusan City. Data was collected by means of questionaires from Aug. 1986 to Mar. 1987. The data were analyzed by use of percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, ANOVA and Pearson-correlation coefficient. The results of this study were as follows: 1 . General Characteristics of School Health Teachers (SHT) 1) The average of age of the SHT was 32.8 years old and 39.5% of them were from 30 to 34 years old. 2) The average for school nursing experience of the SHT was 7.9 years and 37.9% of them were from 5 to 9 years. 3) The 45.2% of them have not the clinical experience. 4) The 74.2% of them were graduated from the 3 years college of nursing. 2. Status of school health resources and nursing activities. 1) The average of student number was 2497.3 and class number was 45.2. 2) The average of school health budget was 1039000 won and 27.7% of school health budget expended on examination cost. 3) Only 29.0% of all schools have organization for school health. 4) The 84.7% of all schools have health clinic separately and 69.1% of schools have less than $33m^2$ sized. 5) The average of clinic visitor number was 2111.8 for 1 year. 6) Major problem was on digestive system. And other problems were skin, respiratory, musculo-skeletal system and dental problem. 7) The number of literal message was 14.4 times for 1 year. 3. The degree of the school health teachers' self-confidence. 건강증진모델학교 분석: 고등학교를 중심으로 (Analysis of Health Promoting Schools: Focusing on High Schools)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to investigate the actual conditions and operational problems of Health Promotion Model School' in high school. Methods: We conducted a content analysis of 2014 results report and staffs' responses of five high schools among 85 'Health Promotion Model Schools' led by Ministry of Education from 2012 to 2014. Results: The study examined the operational process of health promoting schools in five stages; system development, needs survey & current status survey, school health policy development, program development & execution, and evaluation. Every step was found to be inadequate. In addition, the study discovered three key factors in operating health promoting schools and examined the status of each factor; connection with the curriculum, connection with the community, and consensus among members. Three factors were also applied poorly. Compared to elementary school, high school showed a lack of all respects. Health promoting school staffs have faced difficulties in linking community resources, organizing and operating a working committee, conducting surveys and assessing health problems, preparing self-assessment or external evaluation, and developing strategies and programs. In order to solve the operational problems, active cooperation of all teachers is urgent. Conclusion: 'Health Promotion Model School' conducted in high school is not considered to have faithfully implemented WHO's concept of health promoting school. In the future, incentive policies for health promoting school teachers should be actively reviewed.

Concept Development of a Simplified FPGA based CPCS for Optimizing the Operating Margin for I-SMRs

  • The Core Protection Calculator System (CPCS) is vital for plant safety as it ensures the required Specified Acceptance Fuel Design Limit (SAFDL) are not exceeded. The CPCS generates trip signals when Departure from Nucleate Boiling Ratio (DNBR) and Local Power Density (LPD) exceeds their predetermined setpoints. These setpoints are established based on the operating margin from the analysis that produces the SAFDL values. The goal of this research is to create a simplified CPCS that optimizes operating margin for I-SMRs. Because the I-SMR is compact in design, instrumentation placement is a challenge, as it is with Ex-core detectors and RCP instrumentation. The proposed CPCS addresses the issue of power flux measurement with In-Core Instrumentation (ICI), while flow measurement is handled with differential pressure transmitters between Steam Generators (SG). Simplification of CPCS is based on a Look-Up-Table (LUT) for determining the CEA groups' position. However, simplification brings approximations that result in a loss of operational margin, which necessitates compensation. Appropriate compensation is performed based on the result of analysis. FPGAs (Field Programmable Gate Arrays) are presented as a way to compensate for the inadequacies of current systems by providing faster execution speeds and a lower Common Cause Failure rate (CCF).

Cavitation Characteristics of a Pump-turbine Model by CFD Analysis

  • The pumped storage plant operates with quick change of the discharge as well as quick changes between pump mode and turbine mode. This study focuses on the cavitation analysis of a pump-turbine model because in turbo-machinery, cavitation can reduce the performance and shorten service life. The pump-turbine model system consists of 7 blades, 20 stay vanes (including tongue) and 20 guide vanes. This study adopts the Rayleigh-Plesset model as a cavitation model, which illustrates cavitation by using the air volume fraction method. The pump mode and turbine mode at the operating condition of partial loading, normal and excessive loading are analyzed to investigate the cavitation performance of the pump-turbine. It was observed that this pump-turbine design showed very good cavitation characteristics with no cavitation bubbles in all operating conditions. Overall value of air volume fraction of both mode at different operating condition are lower than 1, which confirms low possibility of cavitation occurrence at current situation.

창의·인성 모델학교 운영에 따른 학생, 학부모, 교사의 창의·인성교육에 대한 인식 변화 (A Study on Students', Parents', and Teachers' Change of Perception on Creativity and Character Education through Operation of Creativity and Character Model School)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the change of perceptions of students', parents', teachers' on creativity and character education at the model school for creativity and character education. This study used pre and post tests to examine the effects of creativity and character education on students, parents, and teachers. The results were as follows. Firstly, operating model school for creativity and character education brought about the statistically meaningful changes of students' perception on creativity and character education. However, the changes seemed that the level of their perception on creativity and character education was not rational as the average is about 3.5 point. Secondly, operating model school for creativity and character education brought about the statistically meaningful changes of parents' perception on creativity and character education. However, the changes seemed that the level of their perception on creativity and character education was not rational as the average was about 3.5 point like their children. thirdly, operating model school for creativity and character education brought about the statistically meaningful changes of teachers' perception on creativity and character education. The changes seemed that the level of their perception on creativity and character education was rational as the average was about 4.5 point unlike their students and school parents. Fourthly, it seemed that the perception on creativity and character education showed a difference among students, school parents, and teachers.

학교 텃밭의 지속적인 운영방안에 관한 연구 - 서울특별시 초등학교의 학교 텃밭 실태조사를 바탕으로 - (A Sustainable Operation Plan for School Gardens - Based on a Survey of Elementary School Gardens in Seoul)

  • 본 연구는 학교 텃밭의 양적인 확대뿐만 아니라, 지속적인 운영 방안을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 서울시내 599개 초등학교를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시한 결과, 설문조사에 응답한 161개 학교 모두가 학교 텃밭을 조성 운영하고 있었다. 서울시 초 중 고 포함 학교 텃밭 면적은 $166,901m^2$, 평균 $131.2m^2$이고, 설문조사에 응답한 161개교의 학교 텃밭 면적은 $65,493m^2$, 평균 $363m^2$, 학생 1인당 $1.15m^2$로 조사되었다. 학교 자체적으로 조성 운영하는 경우는 11.8%, 학교 자체적으로 조성하여 운영하다가 기관 지원 사업을 통해 재조성 혹은 환경개선을 하여 운영하는 경우가 50.3%로 조사되었다. 학교 텃밭은 조성위치에 따라 혼합형(교내 텃밭과 상자텃밭 조합)이 34.8%로 많았고, 교내 텃밭형이 32.9%, 상자 텃밭형이 29.2%, 교외 근린텃밭을 활용하는 교외 텃밭형 학교도 3.1%였다. 텃밭 운영 담당자는 담당교사가 51.6%로 가장 높았으며, 텃밭 조성 시에 함께 조성된 시설물은 소형 온실 농기구 보관함이 26.1%로 가장 많았으나, 별도의 기반시설이 함께 조성되지 않은 경우도 21.7%였다. 텃밭 운영에 있어서 어려운 점은 텃밭 관리가 34.2%로 가장 높았고, 텃밭의 지속적 운영을 위해 가장 필요한 요소로 물리적 환경 개선과 유급관리인 고용이 필요하다는 의견이 각 32%로 높게 조사되었다. 학교 텃밭 조성목적은 교육환경 조성(81.6%)이 가장 높았으며, 텃밭관리에 필요한 정보는 주로 주변 자문(67.8%)을 통해서 얻고 있었다. 텃밭에서 발생하는 식물쓰레기를 친환경적으로 퇴비화하는 학교는 45.8%였다. 학교 텃밭의 교육적 활용이 학생들에게 미치는 영향에 대해서는 매우 효과적이라는 응답이 63.2%, 효과적이라는 응답이 36.8%로 조사대상 학교 전체가 긍정적인 응답을 하였다. 본 연구는 서울지역 초등학교를 대상으로 텃밭 운영 실태를 파악하고, 지속적인 운영방안으로 학교 실정에 맞는 텃밭조성 지원, 양질의 교육프로그램적용 및 교구개발, 담당교사 직무연수 확대, 전문 강사 지원방법 모색, 텃밭관리조직 운영의 필요성을 제안하는데 의의가 있다고 생각된다.

  • In this paper, we proposed small scale real-time operating system for embedded system. Real-time system is characterized by the severe consequences that result if logical as well as timing correctness properties of system are not met. On real-time system, real-time operating system allows real-time applications to be designed and expanded easily. Functions can be added without requiring major changes to the software. We design small scale real-time operating system for preemptive kernel, and design kernel component such as multitasking, scheduler, task priority, semaphore, inter-task communication, clock tick timer, ISR(Interrupt Service Routine) mechanism has low interrupt latency.

Low temperature-operating NiO-CoO butane gas sensors

  • $NiO,\;Cu_2O,\;Mn_2O_3$ and $Cr_2O_3$ as p-type semiconductors were added in CoO with 15 wt.% ethylene glycol binder and measured the butane gas sensing characteristics. The highest sensitivity is obtained for the NiO-CoO sensors. CoO-20 at.% NiO sensor with 15 wt.% ethylene glycol binder sintered at $1100^{\circ}C$ for 24 h exhibits high sensitivity of 90 % to 5000 ppm butane gas at the sensor temperature of $250^{\circ}C$, compared to low sensitivities at the low operating temperature for commercial sensors. Response and recovery times are, respectively, within few seconds and 1min in the static flow system, indicating rapid adsorption and desorption of butane gas on sensor surface even at this low temperature.

Operating Pressure Conditions for Non-Explosion Hazards in Plants Handling Propane Gas

  • Hazardous area classification is designed to prevent chemical plant explosions in advance. Generally, the duration of the explosive atmosphere is used for zone type classification. Herein, IEC code, a quantitative zone type classification methodology, was used to achieve Zone 2 NE, which indicates a practical non-explosion condition. This study analyzed the operating pressure of a vessel handling propane to achieve Zone 2 NE by applying the IEC code via MATLAB. The resulting zone type and hazardous area grades were compared with the results from other design standards, namely API and EI codes. According to the IEC code, the operating pressure of vessels handling propane should be between 101325-116560.59 Pa. In contrast, the zone type classification criteria used by API and EI codes are abstract. Therefore, since these codes could interpret excessively explosive atmospheres, care is required while using them for hazardous area classification design.

  • In this paper, we have studied about the optimum fabrication condition of the printed Indium Tin Oxide (ITO) layers for the electrical resistance-type sensor application. We have investigated on the substrates surface treatments, mixing ratio of organic binder/ITO powder, and viscosity of the printing paste to determine the optimum condition of the screen printed ITO layer. Also, we found that the printing condition is closely related with the sensor performance. To know the feasibility of printed ITO layer as an electrical resistance-type sensor, we have fabricated the ITO sensors with a printed and sputtered ITO layers. The printed ITO films revealed $10^2$ times higher sensitivity than the sputtered ITO layer. Also, the sputtered ITO layer exhibited an operating temperature of $127^{\circ}C$ at the operating voltage of 5 V. While, in case of the printed ITO layer showed the operating temperature of $27.6^{\circ}C$ in high operating voltage of 30 V. We found that the printed ITO layer is suitable for the various sensor applications.
