개방형 협업 커뮤니케이션 특성과 협업 성과 : 오픈소스 소프트웨어 개발을 중심으로 (Empirical Study of the Relationship between Communication-Structure Characteristics and Open Collaboration Performance: Focusing on Open-Source Software Development Platform)

  • Purpose The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of communication-structure characteristics on performance in online collaboration using the data from Github, one of representative open source software development platforms. We analyze the impact of in-degree/out-degree centralization and reciprocity of communication network on collaboration performance in each project. In addition, we investigate the moderating effect of owner types, an individual developer or an organization. Design/methodology/approach We collect the data of 838 Github projects, and conduct social network analysis for measuring in-degree/out-degree centralization and reciprocity as independent variables. With these variables, hierarchical regression analysis is employed on the relationship between the characteristics of communication structure and collaborative performance. Findings Our results show that for the project owned by an organization, the centralized structure of communication is not associated with the collaboration performance. In addition, the reciprocity is positively related to the collaboration performance. On the other hand, for the project owned by an individual developer, the centralized structure of communication is positively related to the performance, and the reciprocity does not show the positive relationship on the performance.

다문화 청소년의 지각된 차별감이 민족정체성 혼란에 미치는 영향: 이중문화역량을 통한 부모-자녀 개방형 의사소통의 조절된 매개효과 (Effects of Perceived Discrimination on Multicultural Adolescents' Ethnic Identity Conflict: A Moderated Mediation Effect of Parent-Child Open Communication through Bicultural Competence)

  • This study examined the effects of perceived discrimination on multicultural adolescents regarding feelings of conflict over their ethnic identity by investigating the moderating role of father-child open communication and mother-child open communication mediated by bicultural competence. A total of 234 middle school students (grades 7-8; 139 girls and 95 boys) from multicultural families, from which the father is Korean and the mother is not, participated in the study. Data was collected through an online self-report questionnaire and was analyzed via SPSS 26.0 and Process (Version 4.1) MACRO. The results can be summarized as follows. First, bicultural competence mediated the effects of perceived discrimination on feelings of conflict over one's ethnic identity. Enhanced bicultural competence resulting from a lower perception of discrimination contributed to a reduction in feelings of conflict over one's ethnic identity. Second, the moderated mediation effect of fatherchild open communication was significant, while the effect of mother-child open communication was not. Thus, the mediation relationship (lower perceived discrimination increased bicultural competence and, thus, reduced conflict over one's ethnic identity) grew stronger as the level of father-child open communication increased. The significance of this study lies in uncovering the causal relationships between individual and environmental factors that contribute to ethnic identity development among multicultural adolescents, particularly highlighting the important role of Korean fathers within multicultural households.

중학생의 부모-자녀간 의사소통과 자아존중감 (Communication and Self-Esteem between Middle School Students and Their Parents)

  • This study is designed to provide some basic materials for finding better ways to promote student-parent communication in order to elevate the sense of self-esteem among middle school students and to talk about the importance of communication between students and parents through looking at the current student-parent communication reality resulting from socio-demographic changes among male and female middle school students and analyzing some influences student-parent communication has on students' self-esteem. To attain the aforementioned purpose, total 650 2nd grade and 3rd grade middle school students were asked to fill out the questionnaire. The schools that they are attending are 2 schools in Gwangju City and 2 schools in a township in Jeonnam. 617 students responded to the survey. In order to see the general characteristics and the distribution of major variables of the respondents, the data were used to produce frequency. percentile, standard deviation and correlation quotient. and t-test. one-way Anova, Duncan's multiple range test and multiple regression analysis techniques were put to use. The results from this study are as follows: student groups that have good relations with other students seemed to be more open and active in their communication with their mother and father. Female students and students in their 2nd grade had more open talking relations with their mothers than male students and students in their 3rd grade. Students had more open talking relations with their father when father's occupation is office worker. In the difference of self-esteem that results from variables in communication between students and parents, a significant variance was presented in the level of the self-esteem of middle school students. When they had open communication with both parents, they had a high sense of self-esteem. and when their communication style was problematic, they had a low sense of self-esteem. When they had better relations with other students, when they had more open communication styles with their mother, when they had better school records, when they felt more satisfaction with communication With their father, they showed a higher level of self-esteem.

OpenCL 및 Embedded GPU를 이용한 영상 특징 추출 및 파노라마 영상 생성의 병렬화 (Parallelization of Feature Detection and Panorama Image Generation using OpenCL and Embedded GPU)

  • 본 논문에서는 최신 embedded GPU를 사용하여 영상의 특징 추출 알고리즘(SIFT, SURF)을 병렬화하고, 특징 추출 및 정합 결과를 이용하여 파노라마 영상을 GPU에서 고속으로 생성하는 방법을 제안한다. 병렬화 된 알고리즘의 GPGPU(general purpose computation on GPU) 구현은 최신 스마트폰의 embedded GPU에서 지원하기 시작한 OpenCL을 이용하였다. 본 논문에서는 GPU에서 OpenGL Shading Language(GLSL)를 이용한 기존의 병렬화와 OpenCL을 이용한 새로운 병렬화 구현 결과를 효과적인 코드 구현 방법과 수행속도 관점에서 비교하였다. 실험결과, OpenCL은 GLSL과 유사한 수행 속도를 보였으며 embedded CPU와 비교하여 약 3~4배 빠른 수행속도를 보였다. 구현한 특징 추출 결과의 응용 사례로써, 특징 정합을 통한 영상 정합을 GPU상에서 병렬 수행하여 여러 장의 영상으로부터 파노라마 영상을 고속으로 생성하는 사례를 보인다.

양이 보청기 개발을 위한 양이 통신 오픈 플랫폼 구현 (Implementation of Binaural Communication Open Platform for Binaural Hearing Aids Developing)

  • Recently, the performance of binaural hearing aids is rapidly improved with the technology advancement of wireless communication, digital signal processing, and integrated circuit design. However, the previous hearing aids developer platforms can't be applied to binaural hearing aids developing, because it has no consideration for wireless communication and binaural hearing control. Also, the previous developer platforms are not easy to use for the algorithm development, because programming languages are limited. In this paper, we designed and implemented the open platform board for binaural hearing aids developing. The designed board can be programmed by general programming language and can be used wireless communication module. In order to verify the designed open platform board, we used the volume control algorithm using two open platform board. As a result of experiment, we verified the performance of designed and implemented open platform board that was successfully operated the binaural hearing control and the wireless communication.

가족의 심리적 환경과 청소년의 자기통제력 및 친구특성이 청소년의 문제행동에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Psychological Family Environment, Self-control and Friend Characteristics of Middle School Students on Their Problem Behaviors)

  • The Purpose of this study was to examine the direct or indirect effects of psychological family environment self-control, and friends characteristics of middle school students on their problem behaviors. Data were corrected from 520 senior students of middle school (266 boys and 254 girls) who reside in Inchon. The level of problem behaviors was directly influenced positively by closeness with friends and negatively by self-control and open communication with mothers. And the level of problem behaviors was indirectly influenced positively by intrafamily conflicts and negatively by self-control, parental monitoring and open communication with parents. Self-control was the most powerful predicator of problem behaviors of middle school students. Self-control was directly influenced positively by open communication with fathers and negatively by intrafamily conflicts. Closeness with friends was directly influenced positively by parental monitoring and negatively by self-control and open communication with mothers.

Designing a Comet-based Open API for Establishing RCS Chat Session

  • As smartphone users grow, mobile operators are trying to standardize and commercialize Rich Communication Suite (RCS), which is a next-generation messaging service, so that it can replace legacy messaging services. However, it is not enough to spread RCS widely to the users only by publishing an RCS app. To increase the use of RCS, a web-based open API for common RCS capabilities is needed. By using the API, Internet-based developers can create applications that make use of the RCS capabilities with less effort and time. This paper proposes a lightweight Comet-based open API to allow mobile operators to expose useful information and capabilities to application developers. The system architecture of the open API framework and call flow between relevant nodes are defined. In addition, examples of protocol translations on the framework are provided.

부모-청소년 자녀간의 의사소통과 가족의 응집성 및 적응성 -전남지역 고등학생을 중심으로- (Parent -Adolescent Communication Variables on Family Cohesion and Adaptability Focusing on The High School Students in Jeonnam)

  • 본 연구는 사회인구학적 변인에 따른 부모-자녀간의 의사소통의 차이와 가족 응집성 및 적응성의 차이, 부모-자녀간의 의사소통 변인에 따른 가족 응집성 및 적응성의 차이를 알아보고, 청소년들에게 가족내에서 바람직한 의사소통과 가족 응집성 및 적응성을 향상시키는데 필요한 기초자료를 제공하고자 하는데 그 목적이 있다. 전남지역 고등학생 425명을 대상으로 하여 얻어진 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 사회인구적 변인에 따른 부모-자녀간 의사소통의 차이는 부개방형은 출생순위에 따라, 부문제형은 성별, 출생순위, 가족형태에 따라, 모개방형은 성별에 따라, 모문제형은 성별 출생순위에 따라 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 즉 남학생이 부모와 문제형 의사소통을 많이 하고 있었으며 여학생이 어머니와 개방형 의사소통을 많이 하고 있었다. 또한 장자가 부와 개방형 의사소통을 적게 하고 막내인 경우에 부모와 문제형 의사소통을 적게 하는 것으로 나타났으며 핵가족인 경우에 부와의 문제형 의사소통을 많이 하고 있었다. 둘째, 사회인구학적 변인에 따른 가족 응집성과 적응성을 살펴보면 가족 응집성은 성별과 생활정도에 따라 유의한 차이가 나타나 여학생인 경우, 가정의 생활정도가 높은 경우에 가족 응집성을 높게 지각하고 있었다. 가족 적응성은 성별 출생순위, 생활정도에서 유의한 차이가 나타났는데 여학생인 경우, 독자인 경우, 가정의 생활정도가 높은 경우에 가족 적응성이 더 높은 것으로 지각되었다. 셋째, 가족 응집성은 부와의 개방적 의사소통, 모와의 개방적 의사소통, 생활정도, 성별에 의해 영향을 받는 것으로 나타나 부모와 개방적 의사소통이 잘 이루어질수록. 생활정도가 부유할수록, 여학생이 가족 응집성을 높게 지각하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 가족 적응성은 부와의 개방적 의사소통, 모와의 개방적 의사소통, 부와의 문제형 의사소통, 생활정도 성별에 의해 영향을 받는 것으로 나타나 부모와 개방적 의사소통이 잘 이루어질수록 아버지와 역기능적인 의사소통을 하지 않을수록, 생활정도가 부유할수록, 여학생일수록 가족 적응성을 높게 지각하였다.

스마트워크와 심리적 비분리가 연결되지 않을 권리 인식에 미치는 영향 : 의사소통 개방성과 성별의 조절효과를 중심으로 (The Effect of Smart Working and Psychological Attachment from Work on Right to Disconnect : Focused on Moderating Effect of Open Communication and Gender)

  • Recently, office workers are increasingly aware of the right to disconnect because of the pressure from strong connections with Internet messengers. In this study, we examined the reason why the perception of the right to disconnect increases and how to deal with it. This research model is that smart working and psychological attachment from work affect right to disconnect, and that open communication and gender moderate the intensity of these effects. To verify this research model, survey questionnaires were distributed to workers in smart working environments, and 400 data were collected and analyzed using Smart-PLS. As results of data analysis, it was verified that smart working and psychological attachment from work had a significant influence on right to disconnect, that open communication group had a lesser effect of psychological attachment from work on right to disconnect than closed communication group, and that women had a lesser effect of psychological attachment from work on right to disconnect than men. Organizations need to maintain a desirable level of right to disconnect in order to improve the quality of working life. But, if it is impossible, They need to change the way of communication more openly so as to absorb the burden of strong connection by Internet. And they need to perform task assignment or stress relief policy reflecting gender characteristics.
