  • With a concentration on online university student behavior in highly-wired countries of Canada, the US, and South Korea, this study is aimed at identifying and comparing students' perception to the Internet use, willingness to use, and performance from its use. The cross-national comparison unveiled that students in each country did not have a compatible pattern of relationship among perception, intention, and performance. This study also examines the impact of levels of Internet use motivations on users' attitude, intentions to use, and performance. The results of the study help understand the factors affecting the Internet use in three countries and identify the differences in willingness to use and performance from cultural heterogeneity. Implications of the study, limitations, and further research directions are also discussed.

  • From the perspective of smart learning space, this study aims to take a look at the learning space of college students who do online remote learning in the COVID-19 era, and analyze their demands on what smart learning space they want. Furthermore, this study intends to provide valuable implications for the technology-enhanced learning environments by deriving design elements that make up the university's smart learning space. To achieve these goals, we conducted a review of prior studies, interviews with experts, and case analysis on smart learning spaces of major Korean and foreign universities, which are considered as innovative cases. Additionally, in order to confirm the difference between the importance level recognized by the college students and the current performance level for nine components of technology and for ten components of spaces and facilities, a paired t-test and an Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) were carried out. According to the result of IPA analysis, Internet of Things from the technological aspects, a desk that can supply power and a flexible learning space from the aspects of spaces and facilities were found to have much lower performance than the importance. This result is meaningful in suggesting key design components for smart campus development in the post-COVID-19 world.

  • The aim of this study is to design a Real-time video Korean curriculum. Curriculum using real-time video, which is a variant of distance learning, teaches Korean to students studying in distant places through real-time video communication program. This is expected to supplement the lack of interaction in existing video classes and enable online simultaneous interaction, while increasing learning opportunities for Korean language students living in distance places. To find out the needs of the subjects for the curriculum design, this study conducted a one-on-one interview with 9 female married immigrants who are enrolled in the Cyber University which is opening a curriculum later. According to the survey, the students answered that they have a high intention of attending classes if the lack of interaction in existing distance classes are supplemented. Therefore, we could confirm the demand of a curriculum consisting of an overall real-time video education and multilateral individual connection. Also, we found out that there is a demand in performance rather than comprehension and a high demand for detailed feedback from the teacher. The result shows that the curriculum needs to establish performance-oriented contents to progress to an advanced level Korean Language, and include a study plain comprising of real-time interaction.

For final analysis, 232 of the 234 questionnaires administered from May 17, 2021 to June 2, 2021 were analyzed. For statistical analysis, SPSS 21.0 was utilized; frequency analysis was conducted to identify demographic characteristics, factor analysis was used to verify the research model, and regression analysis was conducted to verify the hypothesis. First, images of professors have been shown to affect learning immersion. Second, the professor image were shown to affect learning satisfaction. Third, education immersion has been shown to affect educational satisfaction. In order to overcome the limitations of online lectures in universities that suddenly began with onset of COVID-19, it is believed that students' satisfaction can be increased by applying blended learning as a way to improve the quality of classes.

A total of 99 students enrolled in an international school in Seoul, Korea from grades 3 to 6 participated in this study. Data were analyzed through Independent Sample T-Test, one way ANOVA, Multiple Regression Analysis, and Hierarchical Regression Analysis using the SPSS 23.0. The findings of the study were as follows. First, there is a difference between genders and among grades. Second, only acceptance was significantly related to school adjustment. Third, acceptance, strict control, and accepted control are significantly related to SRS. Fourth, Self-Regulatory Skills (Sustained Attention) fully mediate the relationship between Maternal Parenting Attitude (Acceptance) and School Adjustment (Academic Attitude/ Rule compliance). Educational implications for understanding the role of parenting attitude and future directions are discussed.

  • Owing to the Corona virus (COVID-19) crisis, virtual education has been expanded. Accordingly, this study was conducted to determine the direction of oral health education by examining participants' satisfaction with virtual education and educational media preferences. This study collected data from a Naver Form online survey targeting 290 university students across the country, from May 10 to 31, 2021. The collected data were analyzed using IBM SPSS 20.0. According to the data, satisfaction with virtual classes was 3.36 points in 5-point Likert scale, satisfaction factors were reduced commuting time and money expenditure, and the highest dissatisfaction factor was a decrease in lecture concentration. The media platform that most interested students pursing oral health education was YouTube. The oral health education that participants wished to receive through virtual education included how to prevent tooth decay, how to prevent gum disease, and how to brush teeth. In conclusion, it is necessary to develop various media like Zoom, YouTube, and virtual reality programs so that students feel motivated to utilize oral health education and improve oral health.

  • The main purpose of this study is to analyze the adoption and use of mobile banking by university students and its potential determining factors. This study comprises 259 completed questionnaires answered through an online survey method. The respondents are Mongolian university students who have experience in using mobile banking applications. Young adults rely heavily on technology and are more likely to adopt mobile banking applications; however, there is limited research on the acceptance and use of mobile banking applications among this cohort, particularly from the perspective of Central Asian developing economies. Through using the SmartPLS 3.3 software, confirmatory factor analysis was conducted to evaluate the construct and structural equation modeling. The main results indicate that performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, and facilitating conditions are the main constructs related to mobile banking technology acceptance; perceived security positively impacts perceived trust. Moreover, perceived trust is the construct of the use of mobile banking technology by the university students who responded to the questionnaire. However, the relationship between perceived risk and use behavior was not accepted.
