PURPOSE. The aim of this investigation was to analyze the dimensions of clinical crowns and to classify the crown and the gingival type in the anterior teeth in Korean young adults. MATERIALS AND METHODS. Casts were obtained from 50 subjects ranging in age from 24 to 32. Measurements of length and width were made on the casts using a pair of digital calipers on the entire dentition. Crown thickness and papilla height were also measured and MDW/CL (mesiodistal width to clinical length) and CW/CL (cervical width to clinical length) ratios of the maxillary anterior teeth were calculated. The K-clustering method was used for CW/CL to classify the anterior tooth shape into three groups (tapered, ovoid, and square), and one-way analysis of variance and Duncan's post-hoc comparison were used to evaluate statistical significance between the groups. Pearson's correlation analysis was performed between tooth shape and papillary height (PH) to demonstrate the correlation between tooth shape and gingival morphological characteristics. RESULTS. The average length of the maxillary central incisors was 9.89 mm; the mesio-distal width was 8.54 mm; and the ratio of width/length was 0.86 in Korean young adults. The average bucco-palatal thickness of the central incisor was 3.14 mm at the incisal 1/3 aspect. Ovoid type was the most common tooth shape (48%), followed by square type (29%) and taper type (23%) in the central incisors of Korean young adults. Tooth shape and gingival type were correlated with each other. CONCLUSION. New reference data were established for tooth size in Korean young adults and the data show several patterns of tooth shape and gingival type. Clinicians should diagnose and treat based on these characteristics for better results in the Korean population.

This study investigated the effect of emotional leadership on the job satisfaction of dental hygienists. Therefore, we tried to determine a way to improve job satisfaction through emotional leadership, which is one of the skills that dental hygienists should have. The study subjects were 237 dental hygienists working in dental clinics in Jeollabuk-do from April 16, 2018 to April 28, 2018. The data was analyzed using the SPSS 12.0 program. The following results were obtained. The emotional leadership of the subjects was lowest for leadership ability (3.15), and the average job satisfaction was 3.43. Salary levels were low, ranging from 2.49 to 2.98. The final academic achievement and dental career had significant influences on emotional leadership (p<0.05). Marital status, self-cognition ability, self-management ability, and relationship management ability influenced the subjects' job satisfaction. The explanatory power of the multiple regression model was 26.5% and the validity of the model was statistically significant (p<0.05). Based on the above results, it was determined that self-recognition ability, self-management ability and relationship management ability of emotional leadership are all highly related to the job satisfaction of dental hygienists. Thus, emotional leadership of dental hygienists can be strengthened to enhance empathy, understanding and management of others' feelings. Therefore, institutional support should be provided for developing an emotional leadership program based on education and training.
This study purposed to analyze dental hygienists' job satisfaction according to their clinical career as an effort to enhance their job satisfaction and quality and to provide basic materials for dental hygienists' effective job performance. For this purpose, we surveyed 120 dental hygienists working at dental hospitals and clinics in Busan during the period from the $1^{st}$ February to $31^{st}$ March 2009 by using a self administered questionnaire. Job satisfaction was measured using a 5 point Likert scale ranging from 'Absolutely yes' (5 points) to 'Yes' (4), 'So so' (3), 'No' (2), and 'Not at all' (1), and a high score indicates high degree of satisfaction. When it testd the reliability of the job satisfaction scale was tested, Cronbach's Alpha (${\alpha}$) was 0.85 which indicates the instrument is sufficiently reliable. Data collected were analyzed with SPSS. We performed frequency analysis in order to examine the subjects' demographical characteristics, and Chi square and one way ANOVA to examine their perception of their job, job satisfaction, and their aptitude and status as a dental hygienists' according to clinical career. The results of this study were as follows. 1. The longer clinical career the dental hygienists had, the more they thought that they had aptitude as a dental hygienist (p<0.05). 2. The dental hygienists' turnover intention was different according to clinical career (p<0.01). 3. The longer clinical career the dental hygienists had, the more satisfied they were when they were working at a dental hospital or clinic equipped with convenience facilities (change room, lounge, etc.) (p<0.01). 4. The longer clinical career the dental hygienists had, the more power to make decisions they had and the more acknowledgement and trust they received from dentists (p<0.01). 5. Satisfaction with duty coordination was low in general, but it grew higher with increase in clinical career (p<0.01). 6. The longer clinical career the dental hygienists had, the more satisfied they were with patients' appreciation of their treatment (p<0.01). In addition, their time and opportunities to discuss with dentists were different according to clinical career, and their satisfaction with the items was higher when their clinical career was long (p<0.01). 7. As to their perception of dental hygienists' potential for development, they generally believed that they had potential for future growth with the expansion of their work scope (M=3.73). The longer clinical career the dental hygienists had, the more satisfied the more power to make decisions they had and the more acknowledgement and trust they received from dentists and their time and opportunities to discuss with dentists when they were working at a dental hospital or clinic equipped with convenience facilities (change room, lounge, etc.). Moris is now best known for his attractive and colorful patterns. The decorating firm of Morris, Marshall, Fault & Company(Morris & Company after 1875) was established in 1861. The ultimate purpose of the present study is to secure a effective method for foam liquid discharge when the mixing ratio deviates from the permissible range due to a decrease in the bypass flow rate resulting from a decrease in the cross sectional area of the foam liquid piping ranging from the branching header of one foam proportioner to the branching headers of multiple branching foam fire-extinguishing systems in the region for fire extinguishing and then to the standpipe at the lower part of the storage tank when a fire occurred in a combustible tank. To this end, the cause of mixing ratio variations following changes in the flow rates of existing foam fire extinguishing systems was analyzed, methods for compensation for constant mixing ratios were investigated, and it was proved that metering orifice replacements that could expand the cross sectional area of the stock solution inhaling piping was the most effective way for the improvement of form fire extinguishing systems' mixing ratios through foam proportioner venturi, foam chamber orifice, and metering orifice replacement experiments.

The principal reasons for applying a pigment coating to paper are to improve appearance and printability. The pigment coating provides a surface that is more uniform and more receptive to printing ink than are the uncoated fibers and, in turn, both facilitates the printing process and enhances the graphic reproduction. The improvement in print quality is readily apparent, especially in image areas or when multiple colors are involved. Although pigment coating of paper is to improve the printability, coated paper is not completely free from printing defects. Actually there are a number printing defects that are observed only with the coated papers. Among the printing defects that are commonly observed for coated papers, print mottle during multi-color offset printing is one of the most concerned defects, and it appears not only on solid tone area but also half dot print area. There are four main causes of print mottle ranging from printing inks, dampening solution, paper, and printing press or its operation. These indicates that almost every factors associated with lithographic printing can cause print mottle. Among these variation of paper quality influences most significantly on print mottle problems in multicolor offset printing, and this indicates that paper is most often to be blamed for its product deficiency as far as print mottle problems are concerned. Furthermore, most of the print mottle problems associated with paper is observed when coated papers are printed. Uncoated papers rarely show mottling problems. This indicates that print mottle is the most serious quality problems of coated paper products. Overcoming the print mottle is becoming more difficult because the operating speeds of coating and printing machines are increasing, coating weights are decreasing, and the demands on high-quality printing are increasing. Print mottle in offset printing is caused by (a) nonuniform back trap of ink caused by a nonuniform rate of ink drying, referred as "back trap mottle, and (b) nonuniform absorption of the dampening solution. Furthermore, both forms of print mottle have some relationship to the structure of the coated layer. The surest way of eliminating ink mottling is to eliminate unevenness in the base paper. Coating solutions, often easier to put into practice, should, however, be considered. In this paper the principal factors influencing print mottle of coated papers will be discussed. Especially the importance of base paper roughness, binder migration, even consolidation of coating layers, control of the drying rate, types of binders, etc. will be described.
Statement of problem. Although a number of previous investigations have been carried out on the polymerization shrinkage-strain kinetics of provisional crown and fixed partial denture (FPD) materials, the effect of the changes of liquid monomer to powder ratio on its polymerization shrinkage-strain kinetics has not been reported. Purpose. The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of liquid monomer to powder ratio of polymer-based provisional crown and FPD materials on the polymerization shrinkage-strain kinetics. Material and methods. Chemically activated acrylic provisional materials (Alike, Jet, Snap) were investigated. Each material was mixed with different liquid monomer to powder ratios by volume (1.0:3.0, 1.0:2.5, 1.0:2.0, 1.0:1.5, 1.0:1.0). Time dependent polymerization shrinkage- strain kinetics of all materials was measured by the bonded-disk method as a function of time at $23^{\circ}C$. Five recordings were taken for each ratio. The results were statistically analyzed using one-way ANOVA and the multiple comparison Scheffe test at the significance level of 0.05. Trends were also examined by linear regression. Results. At 5 minutes after mixing, the polymerization shrinkage-strains of all materials ranged from only 0.01% to 0.49%. At 10 minutes, the shrinkage-strain of Alike was the highest, 3.45% (liquid monomer to powder ratio=1.0:3.0). Jet and Snap were 2.69% (1.0:2.0) and 1.58% (1.0:3.0), respectively (P>0.05). Most shrinkage (94.3%-96.5%) occurred at 30 minutes after mixing for liquid monomer to powder ratio, ranging from 1.0:3.0 to 1.0:1.0. The highest polymerization shrinkage-strain values were observed for the liquid monomer to powder ratio of 1.0:3.0. At 120 minutes after mixing, the shrinkage-strain values were 4.67%, 4.18%, and 3.07% for Jet, Alike, and Snap, respectively. As the liquid monomer to powder ratio increased, the shrinkage-strain values tend to be decreased linearly (r=-0.769 for Alike, -0.717 for Jet, -0.435 for Snap, $r^2=0.592$ for Alike, 0.515 for Jet, 0.189 for Snap; P<0.05). Conclusion. The increase of the liquid monomer to powder ratio from 1.0:3.0 to 1.0:1.0 had a significant effect on the shrinkage-strain kinetics of polymer-based crown and FPD materials investigated. This increased the working time and decreased the shrinkage-strain during polymerization.

It has been reported that There is a relatively high incidence of congenital cleft lip and palate among congenital anomalies. Children with the cleft lip and palate confront various problems ranging from feeding difficulties as infants to frequent ear infections, compromised speech, aberrant dentofacial development, malocclusion and esthetic impairment with its unfavorable effects on the psychosocial adaptation of the individual. Management of these patients is a process that starts in infancy and continues on into adulthood. Through a team approach, professionals from various fields convene to assess the needs of the child and to assist the parents in dealing with the situation. A pediatric dentist, one of the team, must advise the parents the way of feeding or make an obturator for normal feeding and weight gain of infants with cleft lip and/or palate. An obturator can aid nursing, stimulate orofacial development, help develop the palatal shelves, prevent tongue distortions, prevent nasal septum irritation, decrease chance of ear infections, expand collaped maxillary segments, constrict the expanded anterior part of the maxilla, reposition the premaxilla, and help the parents psychologically. Three cases of infants with cleft lip and palate were managed with the obturator at the Dept. of Pediatric Dentistry, Kyung Hee University. In all cases, infants showed normal feeding and weight gaining after the insertion of the obturator.
The word culture itself is very difficult to define. Therefore, in order to confine its meaning, many scholars prefer to attach different prefixes such as inter-, bi-, multi-, cross-, pluri-, trans-, in front of the adjective cultural instead of defining the word culture itself. These prefixes have been used along with about thirty various nouns, ranging from adaptability to training. In this paper, we focused on the adjective intercultural. In fact, this adjective has been widely used, not only in education but also in the communication and philosophy sectors among the world academia discourse. Intercultural Education appeared in America in the 1930s and also in the 1970s in Europe, in order to improve relations between immigrants and the people who received them. Intercultural communication arose in America as a cultural education program for American diplomats and professionals, while interculturalism appeared in the 1970s in Canada as a policy in opposition to multiculturalism. Intercultural philosophy started in 1990s Germany as philosophical speculation against Eurocentrism. As such, the adjective intercultural has been used with a combination of diverse nouns. In regards to this, one can ask the following questions: did the scholars have any kind of agreement during their discussions? Did they communicate and make a positive impact on each other? If not, how can we interpret their common use of the word intercultural? To answer these questions, we tried to compare fives types of intercultural waves of the 20th century, paying particular attention to their time periods, places and backgrounds of appearance, their emphases and shortcomings. Following our research, we found that intercultural waves in the 20th Century have developed independently despite their common use of the word intercultural. Therefore, we concluded that the use of same word intercultural was the result of humankind's effort to approach cultural differences in a positive way in the global village created by internationalization and globalization of the 20th century.
Objective: In dryland areas of China, alfalfa hay (AH) is a possible substitute for concentrate feed for beef cattle. To evaluate the potential benefits of this substitution, we studied the effect of the ratio of AH intake to total dry matter (DM) intake on average daily body-weight gain (ADG), dietary energy utilization status, and economic benefit in Gansu province. Methods: In each of two feeding trials in 2016 (trial 1 [T1], July 3 to 17; trial 2 [T2], August 15 to September 23), crossbred male Simmental calves were allocated to low AH (LA), medium AH (MA), and high AH (HA) feeding groups (n = 4 per group). The target ADG was set as 1 kg for both trials. In a one-way-layout design based on conventional feeding practices in the province, calves received diets containing the different AH amounts, with a constant ratio of corn stover:total DM and decreasing rations of concentrate feed proportional to the increase in AH. Calves in T1 received AH at 15% (T1-LA), 23% (T1-MA), or 31% (T1-HA) of their dietary DM allowances; those in T2 received 9% (T2-LA), 24% (T2-MA), or 34% (T2-HA) AH. Results: Among the T1 groups, both ADG and economic benefit were highest in T1-LA; whereas in T2, they were higher in the T2-LA and T2-MA groups than in T2-HA. Energy digestibility did not significantly differ among the groups in either trial. The dietary AH inclusion ratios of 14% in the warm season and 8% to 21% in the cool season appeared to yield optimal ADG, metabolizable energy intake, and economic benefit. Conclusion: Low-level inclusion of AH, ranging from 8% to 21%, is a practical approach for beef cattle feeding. This modified feeding regimen likely will promote increased growth performance during the fattening stage of beef steers in dryland areas of Gansu province, China.

제 19 조 (관할 법원)
서비스 이용으로 발생한 분쟁에 대해 소송이 제기되는 경우 민사 소송법상의 관할 법원에 제기합니다.

1. (시행일) 이 약관은 2016년 9월 5일부터 적용되며, 종전 약관은 본 약관으로 대체되며, 개정된 약관의 적용일 이전 가입자도 개정된 약관의 적용을 받습니다.
