Short-circuited can have significant effects on a generator and its performance. One of effective method detecting inter-turn short circuits on round rotor winding is a method using sensor detecting. But the method needs duplicate design of sensor for characteristic change according to types and forms of generator. Thus rotor shorted-turn diagnosis method without sensor is needed for detecting short turn when generator is driven. Diagnosis method without sensor depend on change of electric property in generator For the reason, this paper presents characteristic analysis of shorted-turns in generator by detecting the output voltage of generator.

The study on prevention measures for vibration and excavation of tunnel for the #3, #4, Seoul Subway. In the Seoul subway tunnel blasting, the drilling pattern and prevention method to seismic vibration are as follows as well as for adaptions of NATM, the supportings of roof and wall holes are arranged with control blasting. 1. The blasting is executed basically using the low velocity explosive such as slurry, Nitrate ammonium explosive, and F-I and F-II explosive for control blasting substituting of existing dynamite. 2. The cut holes are arranged with burn cut pattern and also must be arranged with M/S electrical delay caps substituting of ordinary do]ay caps. 3. Jack leg drills are used in Five Job sites and a jumbo drill in one job site. 4. In performance of safety work and in maintenance of building safety. The drilling length for blasting will not exceed 1.20 meter for round so that the vibration value shall carry below 0.3cm/sec. The harmonizing of better powder, better drilling machine and better technique is only the way of improving tunnelling efficiency and less vibration will help the dereasing of accidence.

Commercial pure iron powder and iron powder of coated 0.45% phosphorus were mixed with graphite powder in dry mixer to control carbon content from 0 wt% to 0.8 wt%. Mixed powder was pressed in the mould under the pressure of 510 MPa. Compacts were sintered at 118$0^{\circ}C$ for 40 min. in cracked ammonia gaseous atmosphere. Some of these sintered specimens were quenched in oil, and tempered in Ar gas. All of these specimens were investigated for microstructure, density and hardness in relation to coated phosphorus and carbon content. The results obtained were as follows: (1) The microstructure of the sintered speciments revealed that the amount of pearlite was increased with increasing C content but decreased by P-addition. (2) The P-addition affected the microstructure of pores in which the pore shape became round and its mean size was decreased by P-addition. (3) After tempering of sintered specimens the structure of pearlite was changed from fine structure to coarse one in P added specimen. (4) Hardness was higher in P added specimens.

The ring routing and wavelength assignment problem arose in the planning of optical communication networks which use WDM rings. Traffic demands are given for each pair of nodes in an ring : each demand must be routed one of the two possible connections round the ring and the wavelength assignments must be made so that there are no conflicts : that is. no two connections whose routes share a link can be assigned the same wavelength along that link. The objective is to minimize the number of used wavelengths. We propose the local optimal routing for the problem and show that there always exists an optimal solution satisfying it. Furthermore we suggest a new lower bound for the problem and show that it is very efficient for the worst case example.

Assembly is usually performed by one robot and fixtures. This type of assembly system has Low flexibility in terms of variety of parts and part-presentation that the system can handle. This paper addresses assembly without fixtures using two-manipulator robot. An active method using force feedback is proposed for the peg-in-hole assembly in highly uncertain environment. Assembly states are described by extended contact relations. Qualitative templates for events are easily derived from the token vector of the Petrinet model. The states are recognized through identification of the events using two 6-d.o.f force/moment sensors. The proposed method is verified and evaluated through experiments with round peg- in-hole assembly.

In this papre, we describe a recently implemented echo canceller for digital cellular communication of Code Division Multiple Access(CDMA) that features time sharing of digital signal processor(DSP) over four channels in one DSP to reduce per channel costs. In the Public Land Mobile Network(PLMN), it is important to cancel the echo reflected from the Public Switched Telephone Network(PSTN) side. In case of digital mobile system, the round-trip delay of the echo is in excess of about 180 milliseconds due to frame-by-frame voice coding. It is necessary to cancel the echo in PLMN. We have developed a multi-channel echo canceller tht operates with Time Switch Module in a Mobile Switching Center(MSC). The general echo canceller needs PCM trunk interface circuits and the tone detection and disabling circuits, but the multi-channel echo canceller linked with Time Switch Module does not need them. Therefore we could develop the effective and economical echo canceller.

Primary tumors of the diaphragm are very rare, From a clinical point of view, they do not present a specific symptomatology and the radiologic aspect is not characteristic. Their etiology is often obscure. The authors experienced one case of primary neurofibroma of the diaphragm. The patient was 52 year old male, and detected preoperatively abnormal round mass shadow in the middome portion of the left diaphragm in routine chest X-ray. A left posterolateral thoracotomy through the 7th ICS was performed. The mass and surrounding tissues were completely removed, and diagnosed as a primary neurofibroma by the histopathologic findings. Postoperative course was uneventful.

In this paper, the random key pre-distribution scheme introduced in ACM CCS'02 by Eschenauer and Gligor is reexamined, and a generalized form of key establishment is introduced. As the communication overhead is one of the most critical constraints of any successful protocol design, we introduce an alternative scheme in which the connectivity is maintained at the same level as in the original work, while the communication overhead is reduced by about 40% of the original overhead, for various carefully chosen parameters. The main modification relies on the use of a two-level key pool design and two round assignment/key establishment phases. Further analysis demonstrates the efficiency of our modification.

Case 1 was showed severe caughing and nasal discharge, who was one of 5-month-old 18 male sheep taking inspection for MCF experiment. Pathological examination of case 1 was conducted. Macroscopic observations were the foamy sticky fluids in nasal and tracheal cavity, the grey spots with 2-4 mm diameter on the surface of lung. Histopathological observations were severe eosinophil and other round cell infiltration in general organs including lung, trachea, small intestine, large intestine, liver. Also, in the lung, there were parasite-cutting lesions in some alveolar spaces and bronchioles. Following these observations, case 1 was diagnosed as ovine lungworm infection.

A 31-year-old female visited O.P.D. of internal medicine, Kyung Hee Medical center, with the chief complaint of generalized weakness and headache. She took a routine chest P-A and there was a 6.5 x 7.5 cm sized round mass in the right middle lung field. She admitted to the Dept. of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery under the impression of malignant bronchogenic carcinoma with the remit of bronchoscopy and sputum cytology and tomogram. Middle and lower lobectomy of right lung was performed and postoperative surgical biopsy revealed out the plasma cell granuloma. The plasma cell granuloma may occur as a solitary nodule in the lung or be associated with systemic disease, plasma protein imbalance, or nonspecific local inflammatory reaction . More than two third of the reported patients were less than 30 year of age. Grossly the lesion appears reddish-brown and microscopic features include pallisade or a cartwheel distribution of plasma cells with Russel bodies and amyloid. Local excision or lobectomy has been curative in most cases.
