Implementation of the virtual reforestation system using spatial data

  • In this study the spatial distribution characters of burnt forest site was first considered by analyzing spatial data and monitoring forest landscape before/after lire to restore the site. Then suitable tree species on each forest site should be selected through the weighted score analysis of GIS analysis methods. Finally. the best forest stand arrangement method could be simulated on the system for the advanced reforestation technology in Korea. For this purpose, the virtual reforestation system was implemented by using the concept of virtual GIS and CBD (Component Based Development) method. By use of this system the change of forest landscape of burnt forest area some years after reforestation practice could be detected and monitored by applying the site index and 3D modeling method.

건설현장 MMS 라이다 기반 점군 데이터의 정확도 분석 (Accuracy Analysis of Point Cloud Data Produced Via Mobile Mapping System LiDAR in Construction Site)

  • Recently, research and development to revitalize smart construction are being actively carried out. Accordingly, 3D mapping technology that digitizes construction site is drawing attention. To create a 3D digital map for construction site a point cloud generation method based on LiDAR(Light detection and ranging) using MMS(Mobile mapping system) is mainly used. The purpose of this study is to analyze the accuracy of MMS LiDAR-based point cloud data. As a result, accuracy of MMS point cloud data was analyzed as dx = 0.048m, dy = 0.018m, dz = 0.045m on average. In future studies, accuracy comparison of point cloud data produced via UAV(Unmanned aerial vegicle) photogrammetry and MMS LiDAR should be studied.

  • In this thesis, we present process that remove mistake of data before statistical analysis. If field data which is not simple examination about validity of data, we cannot believe analyzed statistics information. As statistical analysis information is produced based on data to be input in statistical analysis process, the data to be input should be free of error. In this paper, we study the application of statistical analysis road map that can enhance application on site by organizing basic theory and approaching on initial data exploratory phase, essential step before conducting statistical analysis. Therefore, access to statistical analysis can be enhanced and reliability on result of analysis can be secured by conducting correct statistical analysis.

  • The sequences of monthly streamflows constitute a non-statonary time series. The purely stochastic model has been applied to data generation of non-stationary time series. Tow different mothods--single site and multisite generation--have been used on the hydrologic time series. In this study the synthetic generation method by bivariate analysis, studied by Thomas Fiering, one of multi-site models, has been applied to the historical data on monthly streamflows at two sites in Nakdong River, and also for validity of this model the single site Thomas Fiering model applied. Through statistical analysis it has been shown that the performance of bivariate Thomas Fiering model was better than that of the other. By comparison of mean and standard deviaion between the historical and the generated, and cross correlogram interpretation, it has been known that the model used herein has good performance to simultaneously generate the monthly streamflows at two sites in a river hasin.

중요도-성취도 분석에 의한 전시컨벤션 개최지 평가 (Exhibition and Convention Destination Site Evaluation Using Importance-Performance Analysis)

  • 본 연구는 전시컨벤션 기획가를 대상으로 서울에 대한 전시컨벤션 개최지로서의 7개 요인 및 42개 선택속성을 중요도-성취도 분석을 통하여 평가함에 목적이 있었으며 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 전시컨벤션 개최지의 42개 선택속성에 대한 중요도-성취도 분석 결과, 13개의 속성이 I사분면('지속적 노력필요'), 4개의 속성이 II사분면('과잉노력 지양'), 5개의 속성이 III사분면('우선시정 필요')에 그리고 20개의 속성이 IV사분면('저우선 순위')에 위치하고 있는 것으로 평가되었다. 둘째, 전시컨벤션 개최지의 7개 요인에 대한 중요도-성취도 분석 결과, 중요도와 성취도가 높은 I사분면에 위치하는 요인은 "전시컨벤션센터 시설", "전시컨벤션센터 이용비용" 및 "전시컨벤션 개최지 숙박공간" 요인으로 나타났다. 중요도는 높으나 성취도는 낮은 III사분면에 위치하는 요인은 "전시컨벤션 개최지 지역공간"으로 평가되고 있다. 한편 중요도와 성취도가 낮은 IV사분면에는 "전시컨벤션센터 운영", "전시컨벤션 개최지 관광공간" 및 "전시컨벤션 개최지 여가활동공간" 요인이 위치하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 서울의 전시컨벤션 개최지로서의 중요도-성취도에 대한 평균값의 차이는 2개의 속성을 제외하고는 40개의 속성이 양의 값(+)을 나타내어 속성의 중요도에 비교하여 성취도가 낮은 것으로 평가되었다.

경작지 내 소규모 수림의 경관생태적 특성 분석 (A Character Analysis of the Woodland in Cultivated Areas in point of Landscape Ecology)

  • This research put most emphasis on setting the guidelines for improvement through character analysis of landscape ecology to cope with ecological malfunction of the woodland surrounded in cultivated areas. The results are as follows. 1) As a result of character analysis of the woodland in cultivated area in point of landscape ecology in five case sites, the size of case site 3 is the largest as $3,000m^2$ and it is shown that a colony of pine trees which is valuable in terms of ecological, scientific, historic and cultural senses. 2) As a result of analysis on expansibility of woodland in cultivated area, case site 1 is 0.25, the lowest, flexibility is 4, the highest. In order to improve ecological function in woodland, it is regarded that maintaining curve form rather than straight one. 3) As a result of analysis of morphological diversity, case site 5 shows 1.3, the highest. However, the condition of vegetation and emergence frequency of species indicates low value degree. 4) Based on the result of analysis of landscape ecological character like above, the number of guidelines for the woodland in cultivated area is three and vegetation is four.

Assessment and spatial variation of water quality using statistical techniques: Case study of Nakdong river, Korea

  • Water quality characteristics and their spatial variations in the Nakdong River were statistically analyzed by multivariate techniques including correlation analysis, CA, and FA/PCA based on water quality parameters for 17 sites over 2017-2019, yielding PI values for primary factors. Site 10 indicated the highest parameter concentrations, and results of pearson's correlation analysis suggest that non-biodegradable organic matter had been distributed on the site. Five clusters were identified in order of descending pollution levels: I (Ib > Ia) > II (IIa > IIb) > III. Spatial variations started from sub-cluster Ib in which Daegu city and Geumho-river are joined. T-P, PO4-P, SS, COD, and TOC corresponded to VF 1 and 2, which were found to be principal components with strong influence on water quality. Sub-cluster Ib was strongly influenced by NO3-N and T-N compared to other clusters. According to the PIs, water quality pollution deteriorated due to non-biodegradable organic matter, nitrogen- and phosphorus-based nutrient salts in the middle and lower reaches, illustrating worsening water pollution due to inflows of anthropogenic sources on the Geumho-river, i.e., sewage and wastewater, discharged from Site 10, at which there is a concentration of urban, agricultural, and industrial areas.

  • As the interest in internet business increases, effective web site evaluation is in order. While web site evaluation is supposed to be based on feasible applicability and trust-worthy criteria. many researches on web site evaluation fails to rover the various business models and consider corporate-activity-related features. Besides, dealing with the limited aspects such as design and cognitive science is something to be desired on the previous researches. Therefore, This paper presents internet web site evaluation framework not only based on existing researches and analysis but also reflecting corporate strategies. The framework includes web sites contents, design, operation and management-related factors, and it is applied to companies to validate its applicability.

The Erosion of Reinforced Concrete Walls by the Flow of Rainwater

  • The action of rainwater on reinforced concrete walls has led to an erosion phenomenon. The erosion is very apparent when the walls are inclined. This phenomenon is studied on a real site characterized by different architectural forms. The site dates back to the seventies; it was designed by the architect, modeler of concrete, Oscar Nie Meyer. On this site, the erosion has damaged the cover of the reinforcements and reduced its depth. In this research work, a method of quantification of the erosion is developed. Using this method, the amount of mass loss by erosion was measured on imprints taken from the site. The results are expressed by the rate of mass loss by erosion; they are associated to the height and the inclination of the walls. Moreover, laboratory analysis was carried out on samples taken from the site. From this study, it is recommended to consider the erosion, in any building code, to determine the cover thickness.

GIS를 이용한 생태마을 입지분석 모델 개발 - 경북 포항시 북구를 사례로 (Developing Analytical Model for Locating Preferred Ecovillage Sites Using GIS - The Case Study of Bukgu, Pohang)

  • 본 논문은 생태마을 입지분석에 필요한 표준화된 분석요소와 평가기준을 정립하고, GIS를 이용한 생태마을 입지분석 모델을 개발하여 실제 적용한 결과를 제시하였다. ArcGIS 모델빌더(Model Builder)를 활용하여 개발된 모델은 사용자가 GIS 프로그램에 익숙하지 않더라도 쉽게 사용할 수 있도록 사용자 편의성을 최대한 고려하였다. 이를 위해 첫째, 기존연구 분석을 바탕으로 크게 자연환경 요소, 인문/사회적 요소, 법제적 요소로 분류되는 18개의 보편적이고 정량적인 생태마을 입지분석 요소와 평가기준을 선정하였고, 각 요소의 등급화 및 점수화 방안을 제시하였다. 둘째, ArcGIS 모델빌더를 활용하여 18개 입지분석 요소의 주제도 작성과정과 생태마을 입지로 적합한 지역을 도출하는 중첩분석 연산과정을 체계적으로 정리한 생태마을 입지분석 모델을 개발하였다. 셋째, 개발된 모델의 유효성을 검증하기 위하여 포항시 북구를 테스트 사이트로 생태마을 입지분석을 수행하였다.
