This study was carried out to de develop a control strategy of a fruit harvesting redundant robot. The method of generating a safe trajectory, which avoids collisions with obstracles such as branches or immature fruits, in the 3D(3-dimension) space using artificial potential field technique and virtual plane concept was proposed. Also, the method of setting reference velocity vectors to follow the trajectory and to avoid obstacles in the 3D space was proposed. Developed methods were verified with computer simulations and with actual robot tests. Fro the actual robot tests, a machine vision system was used for detecting fruits and obstacles, Results showed that developed control method could reduce the occurrences of the robot manipulator located in the possible collision distance. with 10 virtual obstacles generated randomly in the 3 D space, maximum rates of the occurrences of the robot manipulator located in the possible collision distance, 0.03 m, from the obstacles were 8 % with 5 degree of freedom (DOF), 8 % with 6-DOF, and 4% with 7-DOF, respectively.

New occurrences in Korean waters were recorded for two penaeid species: Atypopenaeus stenodactylus (Stimpson, 1860) and Metapenaeopsis toloensis Hall, 1962, which were previously known from the Indo-West Pacific up to southern Japan. The specimens were collected from the southeastern coast of Korea by a shrimp beam trawl. The former is the only known member of the genus Atypopenaeus and the latter is the sixth species of the genus Metapenaeopsis reported in Korea. Morphological descriptions and illustrations with color photographs of the specimens are given. At present, the Korean Penaeidae consist of 20 species in 11 genera. A key to the Korean genera of family Penaeidae is also presented.

이 논문에서는 기상에 따른 고령 환자의 질병 발생빈도를 예측하는 방법을 비교한다. 분석을 위해 건강보험심사평가원의 고령 환자 의료 자료와 기상청 자료를 주별, 권역별로 병합한다. 기상에 영향을 받는 질병의 주별 발생 빈도를 ARMAX모형, VARMAX모형, TSCS회귀모형으로 분석하고 MSE, MAPE, MAE 기준으로 모형을 비교했다.

A total of 77 unanticipated trip cases induced by human errors in Korean nuclear power plants were collected from the nuclear power plant trip event reports and analyzed to investigate the areas of high priority for human error reduction. Prior to this analysis, a classification system was made on the four task-related categories including plant systems, work situations, task types, and error types. The erroneous actions affecting the unanticipated plant trips were indentified by reviewing carefully the description of trip events. Then, the events with erroneous action were analyzed by using the classification system. Based on the results for the individual cases, human error occurrences were counted for each of the four categories, also for the selected pairs of categories, to find out the relationships between the two categories in aspects of human errors. As a result, the plant systems, work situations, and task types, and error types which are dominant in human error occurrences were identified.

A table of annual sea state occurrences is prepared based on the significant wave heights and modal periods, two parameters representing a Bretschneider wave spectrum. Measurements of them were done by the Korean Ocean Research and Development Institute (KORDI) at 67points around the Korean peninsula for 22 years. Also the average values of parameters over 4 regions and 4 seasons were derived. Comparative seakeeping calculations using wave parameters prevalent around Korea and those of the North Pacific at sea state numbers 3, 4, and 5 respectively, show some differences in the assessed seakeeping performance.

This study intends to predict prospective defects and establish the plan of Preventive Maintenance through research and analysis of defect occurrences and their repair costs in the public equipment of ‘H’ apartment house from 1998 to 2001. According to results of the analysis, more than 90% of defects and their repair costs for 4 years of the building have occurred in heating, hot water and water supply equipments. In case of specific classification in each equipment, more than 60% of defects were found at hot water pipes and heating pipes, and their repair costs covered more than 60% of the total defect costs. After two repairs by ‘Preventive Maintenance’ had been performed in the year 1998, total defects and defects of each equipment each yew have increased in number from 1999 to 2001. But total repair costs and repair costs of each equipment have not increased as time has gone by, because repair costs have relationship with the price of materials and labor, the part of defect and the scale of repair.
