It is reported that the higher the satisfaction of students' clinical practice, the more the ability to perform their work. It is important to assess student satisfaction with clinical practice. This study is to investigate the satisfaction of occupational therapy students' clinical practice. The research data will be used as basic data for effective clinical practice. The subjects of this study were 319 occupational therapy students who completed clinical training. The data collection period was from August 1, 2017 to August 13, 2017. The questionnaire used in the previous literature was used to measure the satisfaction of clinical practice. The collected data were statistically processed using the SPSS 12.0 statistical program. The general characteristics of the study subjects were more female, university more. Satisfaction with major was the most satisfied and the training period was the most 24 weeks. Rehabilitation hospitals were the highest in the training institutions. The results showed that the satisfaction of clinical practice was higher in the order of clinical practice, satisfaction after clinical practice, clinical practice environment, teaching method of clinical practice, clinical practice time, evaluation of clinical practice, and internal conflicts in clinical practice. Clinical practice satisfaction according to general characteristics was significantly different according to the major satisfaction and the training period.
Objectives: An increase in the number of caregivers is necessary to provide services to the elderly, but more importantly, it is qualitative management for them. The purpose of this study was to identify occupational stress, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment and to explore the impact of occupational stress on job satisfaction and organizational commitment among caregivers employed in health service centers for the elderly. Methods: This descriptive survey was a cross-sectional correlational design of 118 caregivers. The questionnaire included occupational stress, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment. Stepwise multiple regression was applied. Results: Job satisfaction and organization commitment of caregivers were found to be above the average. There was a high level of job stress due to lack of job autonomy, job demands, and inadequate compensation. It has been found that the inappropriate compensation, organization system, work culture, and lack of job autonomy affected job satisfaction of caregivers. The factors affecting organizational commitment were inadequate compensation, job insecurity, and work culture. Conclusions: Efforts should be made to assess and complement the appropriateness of compensation and work culture that are taken to relieve job stress to enhance the job satisfaction and organizational commitment of caregivers.

Objective : The aim of the study was to investigate the job satisfaction of occupational therapists(OTs) who work in sensory integration treatment setting, and to analysis for factors influencing the satisfaction. Methods : Data were obtained from 62 OTs who had registered Korean Academy of sensory integration through a survey. Results 1 : Job satisfaction according to general characters: OTs who were above 35 years old and take the treatment course for sensory integration felt the highest total job satisfaction. OTs who are above 35 years old and have clinical experience under 12 month felt the highest salary satisfaction. OTs who are under 25 years old felt the highest promotion satisfaction. Female OTs felt higher colleagues relationship satisfaction than male OTs. 2. Job satisfaction according to work environment: OTs who work with 5 to 10 colleagues and work at private clinic felt the highest total job satisfaction. OTs who spend time treating patients more than 45 hours per week and work at private clinic. OTs who work with 5 to 10 colleagues felt the highest promotion and institute satisfaction. OTs who work at the disabled children care center considered change their job more than others. Conclusions : To improve job satisfaction of OTs, we need to consider size of organization, type of institutes. And we have to define role and specialty of OTs who work in various sensory integration treatment setting.

Objectives: This case report aims to contribute to the enhancement of training quality for occupational accident prevention by conducting surveys on customers' satisfaction with the training course management by the Occupational Safety and Health Training Institute (OSHTI) of KOSHA. Methods: Surveys were conducted through phone calls, customer service documents, and questionnaires from January 1, 2018 to December 31, 2018. Results: The surveys showed an answer rate of 97.36% and handling rate of 97.47% in 2018, an increase of 1.15% compared to 2017. The number of monthly inbound calls in 2018 was 5,902, rising 0.10% year-on-year, and the average inbound calls per day in 2018 was 289, a decline from 291 the year before. The number of provisions of customer service in 2018 was 68,952, increasing 1.89% year-on-year. The number of inquiries on the training curriculum was 58,744 in 2018, an increase of 3.98% compared to the 56,498 recorded in 2017. Inquiries on job training centers were the most common, numbering 27,114 (39.32%), followed by e-learning 18,470 (26.79%) and expert courses 13,160 (19.09%). Of the 149 answers to the customer service survey, 'Nothing to complain about' accounted for 86 (56.72%) and 'Diversifying training time and programs' numbered 22 (14.77%). Conclusions: Customer satisfaction in 2018 increased compared to that in 2017. However, there is a need to reflect the demands of customers for diversifying training time and programs, offer practice-centered training, and collect opinions on providing information in order to maintain high quality training course management.

This study was designed to assess the factor of influence to occupational stress who work in the field of firefighters and questionnaire was uesd to analyse the stress scores and find the primary factors influence to occupational stress. The number of respondents were 408 who received the refresher training and period of investigation was august 2011 through october 2011. A structured questionnaire was employed to evaluate the participants' socio-demographics, job-related factors, health-related behaviors, occupational stress, reaction factor (fatigue, job satisfaction) and buffer factor (social support). Occupational stress and fatigue were assessed using the Korean Occupational Stress Scale-Short Form (KOSS-SF) and the Multidimensional Fatigue Scale (MFS), respectively. The analysis showed that we found a strong correlation between fatigue, job satisfaction and occupational stress. Occupational stress was associated with an increased risk of fatigue and decreased the job satisfaction. In the multiple regression analysis(stepwise), main factor that influence to occupational stress were job satisfaction, gender, age, processing number for a day, exercise. In logistic regression analyses, a higher occupational stress was associated with higher odds of fatigue(High) and the odds was down by 15.0% after adjustment for job satisfaction, gender, age, processing number for a day, exercise. Thus, a job satisfaction promote program for the reduction of occupational stress and the promotion of firefighters's health is strongly recommended.

Objective : The purpose of this study is to provide basic data on effective manpower management by analyzing the influence of occupational therapists' work experience satisfaction, organizational commitment and turnover intention. Methods : Throughout the working hours of occupational therapists working in occupational therapy rooms nationwide, the questionnaire was examined by Google, Empowerment, Job Satisfaction, Organizational Commitment and Turnover. Results : Empowerment perception level of the subjects was 3.52, Job satisfaction was 3.05, Organizational commitment 3.02, and turnover intention 3.19. The analysis of empowerment according to the general characteristics of the subjects revealed significant differences in gender, age, education level, and work experience. There was a significant difference in the organizational commitment age, education level, and patient type. The age and education level of the general characteristics of the subjects were different significantly in the empowerment and organizational commitment. Empowerment showed a positive correlation with job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Conclusion : The empowerment is an important variable affecting job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and turnover intention, which are important factors for effective job performance of occupational therapist.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships between mother's occupational background, their role satisfaction, and their young children's social competence. The subjects of this study were 360 working mothers having 3 to 6-year-old children and 56 teachers of the children drawn from 8 preschools and 7 kindergartens in Cheongju city. The results obtained from this study were summarized as follows : First, mother's occupational background was significantly different according to mother's age, educational level, job type, mother's income, family finances and the existence of a supporter for bringing up children. Second, mother's role satisfaction was significantly different according to mother's income and the existence of a supporter for bringing up children. Third, children's social competence was significantly different according to children's sex, age, mother's age, educational level, job type, mother's income and family finances. Finally, there were significantly meaningful correlations between mother's occupational background, their role satisfaction, and their young children's social competence.
This study examined the influence of social support perceived through SNS on teachers' adult attachment and occupational satisfaction. In order to do so, survey was conducted on teachers and a total of 103 sets of responses were used for final analysis. As a result of the study on social support perceived through SNS, with regards to adult attachment, it was shown that emotional support, informational support, and instrumental support have influence on attachment anxiety. With regards to attachment avoidance, emotional support was shown to have statistically effective influence. In addition, with regards to influence of social support perceived through SNS on occupational satisfaction, it was shown that emotional support and informational support have effective influence on occupational satisfaction. In conclusion and discussion, the implications and limitations of this study were suggested.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine factors related to burnout of nurses at hemato-oncology wards. Methods: The participants were 134 nurses working at hematology-oncology wards in three tertiary general hospitals in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire that consisted of personal characteristics, occupational stress, satisfaction and burnout. Using a SPSS/WIN 12.0 program, descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, and stepwise multiple regression procedures were employed. Results: The mean score of burnout reported by the participants was $3.15{\pm}0.50$ (range 1~5), showing the highest scores in the area of physical burnout ($3.53{\pm}0.57$). The satisfaction with nursing profession was found to be the most impact on the burnout of the hematology-oncology ward nurses (${\beta}$=-.533), followed by occupational stress (${\beta}$=.351) and years of clinical experiences (${\beta}$=-.154). Conclusion: Given the findings, the sorts of strategies to increase the satisfaction with nursing profession and decrease their occupational stress are required, particularly for newly employed nurses.
Objective : This study implemented occupation-based practice as a group program for children with neurodevelopmental disabilities, and investigated the quality of occupational performance, performance and satisfaction, and efficacy levels of the program. Methods : ADOC-S(Aid for Decision making in Occupation Choice-School) and COPM(Canadian Occupational Performance Measure) were used to establish common meaningful occupational goals for 10 children with neurodevelopmental disabilities. After occupational analysis of the 'subway use', the Performance Quality Rating Scale(PQRS) were used to evaluate the quality of occupational performance. Occupation-based interventions were implemented by participants individually performing meaningful occupations in the most natural and real-life environments as possible. The trial consisted of 1 session of pre-intervention assessments, 8 sessions of intervention, where a single session of 100 minutes is provided once a week. Post-intervention evaluation was conducted over one session. Results : The quality of occupational performance by PQRS was 38.10 higher than before intervention. The occupation-based intervention as a group program used the maintain and modify(compensation, adaptation) approaches and acquisition model. In the early stages of intervention (1 to 4 sessions), the occupational performance was greatly improved. The performance level of COPM increased by 5.80 and the satisfaction level was increased by 7.00. In addition, high scores were found in program satisfaction through parental interview. Conclusion : The results of implementing occupation-based interventions to children with neurodevelopmental disabilities showed increase in quality of occupational performance, performance, and satisfaction along with positive effects of satisfaction levels for the program.
