As on-line purchases is activated, customers' demand increases for the realistic and accurate digital information of a product design. In this paper, we propose a practical method that can generate a realistic 3D model of a real product using a 3D geometry obtained by a 3D scanner and its photographic images. In order to register images to the 3D geometry, the camera focal length, the CCD scanning aspect ratio and the transformation matrix between the camera coordinate and the 3D object coordinate must be determined. To perform this 2D-3D registration with consideration of computational complexity, a three-step method is applied, which consists of camera calibration, determination of a temporary optimum translation vector (TOTV) and nonlinear optimization for three rotational angles. A case study for a metallic coated industrial part, of which the colour appearance is hardly obtained by a 3D colour scanner has performed to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
Strength of loess that experienced cyclic freeze and thaw is of great significance for evaluating stability of slopes and foundations in loess regions. This paper takes the frequently encountered loess in the Northwestern China as the study object and carried out three kinds of laboratory tests including freeze-thaw test, direct shear test and SEM test to investigate the strength behaviors of loess after cyclic freeze and thaw, and the correlation with meso-level changes in soil structure. Results show that for loess specimens at four dry densities, the cohesion decreases with freeze-thaw cycles until a residual value is reached and thus an exponential equation is proposed. Besides, little change in the angle of internal friction was observed as freeze-thaw proceeds. This may depend on the varying of soil structure, based on which a clue can be found from the surface morphology and mesoscopic scanning of loess specimens. Clearly we observed significant changes in surface morphology of loess and it tends to aggravate at higher water contents or more cycles of freeze and thaw. Moreover, freeze-thaw cycling leads to obvious changes in the meso-structure of loess including lowering the particle aggregates and increasing both the proportion of fine particles and porosity area ratio. A damage variable dependent on the ratio of porosity area is introduced based on the continuum damage mechanics and its correlation with cohesion is discussed.
The restoration of archaeological data was carried out using photographs and drawings left as past records. It can be divided into ruins and artifacts. The restoration of the ruins was performed by modeling the individual parts and parts left by the photographs, aligning them and synthesizing them, and reconstructing them three-dimensionally as one object. Restoration of artifacts was performed on both photographs and drawings. After the modeling work is prioritized through the photographs, there is a method of restoring the original image by modifying the texture image of the damaged part of the modeled artifact, or restoring the original image by modeling and synthesizing the deleted part in the artifact. The restoration of the artifacts through the drawings was carried out by three - dimensional modeling and reconstruction through real mapping of images. The reconstructed archaeological data can be used in various directions. In particular, it is possible to verify and compare the results of the numerical analysis and interpretation of the past 2D data, and to provide a more accurate analysis plan in the future.

In this research, we describe a security robot system and ongoing research results to control human's wrong direction in order to forbid human to enter security zone. Proposed robot system surveils a security area with equipped laserscanner sensor usually. When it detect walking human who is for the area, robot calculates his velocity vector, plans own path to forestall and interrupts him who want to head restricted area and starts to move along the estimated trajectory. The walking human is assumed to be a point-object and projected onto an scanning plane to form a geometrical constraint equation that provides position data of the human based on the kinematics of the mobile robot. While moving the robot continues these processes for adapting change of situation. After arriving at an opposite position human's walking direction, the robot advises him not to be headed more and change his course. The experimental results of estimating and tracking of the human in the wrong direction with the mobile robot are presented.

3D point data is utilized in various industry domains for its high accuracy to the surface information of an object. It is substantially utilized in geography for terrain scanning and analysis. Generally, 3D point data need to be changed by Gridding which produces a regularly spaced array of z values from irregularly spaced xyz data. But it requires long processing time and high resource cost to interpolate grid coordination. Kriging interpolation in Gridding has attracted because Kriging interpolation has more accuracy than other methods. However it haven't been used frequently since a processing is complex and slow. In this paper, we presented a parallel Gridding algorithm which contains Kriging and an application of grid data structure to fit MapReduce paradigm to this algorithm. Experiment was conducted for 1.6 and 4.3 billions of points from Airborne LiDAR files using our proposed MapReduce structure and the results show that the total execution time is decreased more than three times to the convention sequential program on three heterogenous clusters.
In China, the continuous promotion and coverage of scanning code payment has caused an imbalance in the coin market. Coin changers can not only alleviate this problem, but also affect the business development of commercial banks. Therefore, it is meaningful to study the coin changer. The purpose of this paper is to study the impact of coin changers on the business of commercial banks in China. Through on-the-spot visits and based on the manually collected customer data of Chinese commercial banks as the object, combined with the calculation method of financial indicators to conduct case analysis. The results of the study show that the coin changer has a positive impact on the business development of Chinese commercial banks. This paper provides feasible suggestions and new ideas for business development to Chinese commercial banks. At present, there are few related studies on coin exchange machines. This study combines the calculation of financial indicators to verify the policy results, which is the innovation of this study.

In this paper, we propose a system that can detect the shape of a hand at high speed using an FPGA. The hand-shape detection system is designed using Verilog HDL, a hardware language that can process in parallel instead of sequentially running C++ because real-time processing is important. There are several methods for hand gesture recognition, but the image processing method is used. Since the human eye is sensitive to brightness, the YCbCr color model was selected among various color expression methods to obtain a result that is less affected by lighting. For the CbCr elements, only the components corresponding to the skin color are filtered out from the input image by utilizing the restriction conditions. In order to increase the speed of object recognition, a median filter that removes noise present in the input image is used, and this filter is designed to allow comparison of values and extraction of intermediate values at the same time to reduce the amount of computation. For parallel processing, it is designed to locate the centerline of the hand during scanning and sorting the stored data. The line with the highest count is selected as the center line of the hand, and the size of the hand is determined based on the count, and the hand and arm parts are separated. The designed hardware circuit satisfied the target operating frequency and the number of gates.

The depletion of resources and waste disposal caused by the continuous development of industry have emphasized the need to reduce consumption and production, recycle and reuse, and the importance of remanufacturing has increased in recent years. The spindle part of the aging planner miller, which is currently being remanufactured, is one of the factors that has the greatest impact on the performance of the machine tool. When designing the spindle part of the spindle shaft, there are considerations such as the configuration size bearing performance of the main shaft, but the diameter of the main shaft, the dangerous speed bearing, and the arrangement that affect the machining accuracy should be basically considered. As such, various studies have been conducted on the design of machine tool spindle spindles, but research on the reverse engineering of existing aging machine tool spindle spindles is poor. Reverse engineering is designing in the direction of improving performance by extracting specifications from already finished products, and first scanning the reverse engineered object through a 3D scanner, 3D modeling is performed based on the collected data, and then the process of deriving improvement plans by reverberating to improve performance by identifying wear and damage conditions is followed. Therefore, in this study, the purpose of this study is to provide data on reverse engineering by deriving improvement plans through optimal design for the bearing position of the aging planar Miller spindle spindle using central composite programming.
Despite the significant features of fiber-reinforced cementitious composites (FRCCs), including better mechanical, fractural, and durability performance, their high content of cement has restricted their use in the construction industry. Although ground granulated blast furnace slag (GGBFS) is considered the main supplementary cementitious material, its slow pozzolanic reaction stands against its application. The addition of nano-sized mineral modifiers, including nano-silica (NS), is an alternative to address the drawbacks of using GGBFS. The main object of this empirical and numerical research is to examine the effect of NS on the strain-hardening behavior of cementitious composites; ten mixes were designed, and five levels of NS were considered. This study proposes a new method, using a four-point bending test to assess the use of nano-silica (NS) on the flexural behavior, first cracking strength, fracture energy, and micromechanical parameters including interfacial friction bond strength and maximum bridging stress. Digital image correlation (DIC) was used for monitoring the initiation and propagation of the cracks. In addition, to attain a deep comprehension of fiber/matrix interaction, scanning electron microscope (SEM) analysis was used. It was discovered that using nano-silica (NS) in cementitious materials results in an enhancement in the matrix toughness, which prevents multiple cracking and, therefore, strain-hardening. In addition, adding NS enhanced the interfacial transition zone between matrix and fiber, leading to a higher interfacial friction bond strength, which helps multiple cracking in the composite due to the hydrophobic nature of polypropylene (PP) fibers. The findings of this research provide insight into finding the optimum percent of NS in which both ductility and high tensile strength of the composites would be satisfied. As a concluding remark, a new criterion is proposed, showing that the optimum value of nano-silica is 2%. The findings and proposed method of this study can facilitate the design and utilization of green cementitious composites in structures.
Purpose : Computed tomographic equipment is essential for diagnosis by means of radiation. With passage of time and development of science computed tomographic was developed time and again and in future examination by means of this equipment is expected to increase. In this connection these authors measured rate of scatter ray generation at front of lead glass for patients within control room of computed tomographic equipment room and outside of entrance door for exit and entrance of patients and attempted to ind out method for minimizing exposure to scatter ray. Material and Method : From November 2001 twenty five units of computed tomographic equipments which were already installed and operation by 13 general hospitals and university hospitals in Seoul were subjected to this study. As condition of photographing those recommended by manufacturer for measuring exposure to sauter ray was use. At the time objects used DALI CT Radiation Dose Test Phantom fot Head (${\oint}16\;cm$ Plexglas) and Phantom for Stomache(${\oint}32\;cm$ Plexglas) were used. For measurement of scatter ray Reader (Radiation Monitor Controller Model 2026) and G-M Survey were used to Survey Meter of Radical Corporation, model $20{\times}5-1800$, Electrometer/Ion Chamber, S/N 21740. Spots for measurement of scatter ray included front of lead glass for patients within control room of computed tomographic equipment room which is place where most of work by gradiographic personnel are carried out and is outside of entrance door for exit and entrance of patients and their guardians and at spot 100 cm off from isocenter at the time of scanning the object. The results : Work environment within computed tomography room which was installed and under operation by each hospital showed considerable difference depending on circumstances of pertinent hospitals and status of scatter ray was as follows. 1) From isocenter of computed tomographic equipment to lead glass for patients within control room average distance was 377 cm. At that time scatter ray showed diverse distribution from spot where no presence was detected to spot where about 100 mR/week was detected. But it met requirement of weekly tolerance $2.58{\times}10^{-5}\;C/kg$(100 mR/week). 2) From isocenter of computed tomographic equipment to outside of entrance door where patients and their guardians exit and enter was 439 cm in average, At that time scatter ray showed diverse distribution from spot where almost no presence was detected to spot with different level but in most of cases it satisfied requirement of weekly tolerance of $2.58{\times}10^{-6}\;C/kg$(100 mR/week). 3) At the time of scanning object amount of scatter ray at spot with 100 cm distance from isocenter showed considerable difference depending on equipments. Conclusion : Use of computed tomographic equipment as one for generation of radiation for diagnosis is increasing daily. Compared to other general X-ray photographing field of diagnosis is very high but there is a high possibility of exposure to radiation and scatter ray. To be free from scatter ray at computed tomographic equipment room even by slight degree it is essential to secure sufficient space and more effort should be exerted for development of variety of skills to enable maximum photographic image at minimum cost.
