식품영양전공과 비전공 여대생의 BMI에 따른 식습관 및 영양소 섭취 상태에 관한 연구 -경남대학교를 중심으로- (A Study on Food Habits and Nutrient Intakes according to BMI in Food and Nutrition Major and Non-major Female Students in Kyungnam University)

  • 본 연구는 경남 마산에 위치한 경남대학교에 재학 중인 식품영양전공여대생(147명)과 비전공여대생(155명)의 BMI에 따른 차이가 있는지 분석하고 여대생들의 식품선택에 있어서 올바른 선택과 균형 잡힌 식습관의 정립을 위해 지속적이고 체계적인 영양교육을 하는데 기초자료를 제공하고자 신체계측, 신체이미지와 식습관, 식사섭취빈도, 영양지식, 영양소 섭취상태를 평가하였으며 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 전체 조사대상자의 신장과 체중은 각각 161.5 cm, 53.2 kg으로 조사되었고 전공여대생은 161.5 cm, 55.1 kg, 비전공여대생은 161.5 cm, 51.3 kg이었으며 체중은 유의한 차이를 보였다(p < 0.001). 2. 조사대상자 57.3%는 자신의 체형이 보통이다고 인식하였으며 37.7%는 뚱뚱하다고 인식하였다. 전공여대생 저체중군의 67.9%가 자신이 보통이다, 14.3%가 자신이 뚱뚱하다고 평가하였으며 정상 체중군에 속하면서 28%가 뚱뚱하다고 인식하였으며 과체중/비만군의 7.9%가 자신이 보통이라고 인식하는 것으로 조사되었고 비전공여대생은 저체중군의 59.2%가 자신이 보통이다, 20.4%가 자신이 뚱뚱하다, 정상체중군의 35.4%가 뚱뚱하다, 과체중/비만군의 20%가 자신이 보통이다고 인식하는 것으로 조사되었다. 식습관 중 평소 거르는 끼니에 대한 질문에서 전체 대상자의 77.2%가 아침을 거르며 평균 식사시간은 10분~20분 미만이 전체 대상자의 63.6%로 가장 많았으며 20분 이상은 전공여대생 과체중군이 높았으며 10분 미만은 비전공여대생 과체중군이 가장 높았다. 스트레스를 받은 후 선호하는 맛은 전공, 비전공여대생 모두 매운맛, 단맛 순으로 조사되었다. 3. 조사대상자의 영양지식점수를 보면 20점 만점에 전체 조사대상자 $16.2{\pm}2.4$, 전공여대생 $16.8{\pm}2.2$, 비전공여대생 $15.6{\pm}2.4$으로 유의한 차이(p < 0.001)를 보여 전공여대생이 비전공여대생에 비해 영양지식 수준이 높았으며 식품섭취빈도합계는 전체대상자 중 전공여대생이 비전공여대생에 비해 전체적으로 높았으나 유의한 차이는 없었다. 4. 조사대상자의 열량 및 영양소 섭취상태를 분석한 결과 나트륨, 비타민 B6, 콜레스테롤 이외 모든 영양소 섭취에서 전공여대생의 섭취가 높은 것으로 조사되었으며 칼슘(p < 0.05), 아연(p < 0.001), 비타민 C(p < 0.001), 비타민 E(p < 0.01)는 유의적으로 높았다. 섭취열량의 전체 평균은 $1208.9{\pm}435.0kcal$, 전공여대생이 $1234.0{\pm}436.7kcal$, 비전공여대생 $1185.2{\pm}433.5kcal$로 유의적이진 않지만 약간 높게 섭취하는 것으로 나타났다. BMI에 따른 유의적 차이는 없었으며 전공여대생은 저체중군 1342 kcal, 정상군 1183 kcal, 과체중/비만군 1261 kcal, 비전공여대생은 각각 1176 kcal, 1194 kcal, 1132 kcal로 조사되었다. 전공여대생 에너지비율은 당질 : 단백질 : 지질 = 57.6 : 16.6 : 28.2, 비전공여대생 당질 : 단백질 : 지질 = 57.8 : 17.7 : 27.5이었으며 특히 전공여대생 과체중/비만군이 당질 : 단백질 : 지방 = 58.9 : 14 : 28.4로 에너지 섭취에 대한 지방비율이 가장 높은 경향을 보였다. 식이섬유는 전공, 비전공여대생의 과체중/비만 군이 각각 10.2 g, 8.8 g으로 가장 낮게 섭취하였으며 칼슘은 전공, 비전공여대생 각각 310.6 mg, 265.6 mg으로 유의적인 차이를 보였으며 특히 비전공여대생 과체중/비만군 226.4 mg으로 낮았다. 인 섭취는 전공여대생 583.2 mg, 비전공여대생 545.8 mg, 철분은 각각 7.9 mg, 7.3 mg, 나트륨은 각각 2298.8 mg, 2461.6 mg으로 조사되었으며 두 그룹 모두 저체중군이 각각 2608.6 mg, 3032.8 mg으로 많이 섭취하였다. 아연은 전공여대생 5.9 mg, 비전공여대생 4.8 mg, 비타민 C는 각각 53.3 mg, 36.7 mg, 엽산은 각각 140 mg, 124 mg으로 조사되었으며 콜레스테롤 각각 208 mg, 211 mg으로 전공여대생 저체중군 254 mg, 비전공여대생 과체중/비만군이 260 mg으로 가장 높았다. 5. 조사대상자의 상관분석 결과 BMI와 유의한 양의 상관관계(p < 0.01)를 보인 것은 신체이미지, 영양지식점수, 체중이었다. 체중과 신체이미지, 영양지식점수(p < 0.01), 영양지식점수와 인스턴트섭취횟수(p < 0.05), 간식섭취횟수와 지질(p < 0.05), 당질과 지질(p < 0.01)도 양의 상관관계를 보였다. 이상의 결과를 종합해보면 전공, 비전공 여대생 모두 저체중이면서 자신이 보통이거나 뚱뚱하다고 인식하는 비율이 유의적으로 높았으며 전체적인 영양지식점수는 전공여대생이 비전공여대생에 비해 유의적으로 높았다. 이 결과는 비전공여대생에 비해 영양소 섭취량과 식품섭취빈도 결과가 양호한 편이었지만 우수한 편은 아니었으므로 영양지식을 알고 있는 것에 비해 식습관의 실천으로 잘 옮겨지지 않고 있는 문제점을 시사한다. 여대생들에게 식품선택에 있어서의 올바른 선택과 균형 잡힌 식습관의 정립을 위해 지속적이고 체계적인 영양교육 프로그램 개발과 교육이 중요하다고 사료된다.

영양교육에 의한 노인 영양증진전략연구 : 효과분석 (Strategies of Improve Elderly Nutrition through Nutrition Education : Evaluation of the Effectivenss of the Program)

  • The increased number of elderly in Korea presents great challenges for community nutrition programs. Strategies to enhance elderly nutrition are needed, as well as dietary advice that are reality-based and tailored to the need of the elderly. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the overall effectiveness of an elderly nutrition improvement program(ENIP), by assessing changes in nutrition knowledge, attitudes, and behavior after program completion. ENIP was conducted in Suwon for 4 months in 1998 at 5 centers for the elderly. The program provided individual nutrition counseling and brief biweekly group education sessions. To stimulate participation and motivation, the elderly in two centers were served free milk packs(200ml) three time a week during the program(milk+education group), and the elderly in 3 other centers were served yoghurt on the program day(education group). Altogether, 102 subjects finished the program(milk+education group 67 ; education group 35). Data about nutrition knowledge, dietary attitudes, diet records(24 hour recall) and dietary habit was collected before(baseline) and after the program(follow-up). The Drop-out rate for the milk+education group(2.9%) was significantly lower than that for the education group(30.0%)(p<.001). The Nutrition Knowledge fo females milk+education group increased significantly after the program, but no significant differences were observed in other groups. Over 60% of all the elderly showed positive responses to the healthy eating attitudes. Energy, protein, vitamin A, riboflavin, Calcium and Potassium intakes improved in the male milk+education group. The Vitamin C intake improved in the male education group. Energy and vitamin A intakes improved in the female milk+education group and energy, vitamin A, thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, Ca nad P in the female education group. A stepwise multiple regression analysis was performed to examine the effects of food intake changes on overall nutrient quality. For all elderly, the fish intake explained 12.6% of the variance, followed by candy intake and vegetable intake(model $R^2$=19.6%). Dietary habits such as meal time regularity and salty food reduction were markedly improved in both groups. Sixty-one percent of the milk+education subjects stated their participation was voluntary and active, while 51% of education subjects did. Sixty four percent of the subjects stated their interest on diet increased remarkably through program participation. Considering the results, it is conjectured that ENIP had a great impact on nutrient intake, dietary attitudes and habits. Milk supplement showed no direct effects on elderly nutrition improvement, but it encouraged the program by reducing drop-out rates and inducing voluntary participation. Therefore milk supplement could enhance the community nutrition education program. Moreover it is strongly suggested that the ENIP be expanded to other communities.

초등학교 고학년용 영양교육 소책자 개발 및 효과 분석 - 하루 필요 식품군 단위수 교육을 중심으로 - (Development and Effects' Analysis of Nutrition Education Pamphlet for the Higherr Grades Elementary Students -Focused on Individual Daily Needed Food Exchange Units-)

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate effects of a nutrition education focused on Food Exchange System for the higher grades elementary children. Nutrition education lessons (40 min/lesson, 4 times), '5 major nutrients and functions', '6 food groups', 'daily needed energy and food exchange units', 'good choice of snacks and balanced exercise' were provided to elementary students (5th grade students). This research was based on the data from two groups of elementary school children in the 'education' group (n = 31) and 'non-education' group (n = 31). We assessed the changes in dietary attitude, food habit and nutrition knowledge using questionnaire and nutrient intake using 24hr recall method by nutrition education using the developed pamphlet. After education, there was a significant difference in the dietary attitude score only in attitude of 'balanced meal' (p < 0.001) in the education group compared to the non-education group. In food habit, there were significant positive changes in the type of breakfast and in the priority of choosing snack in the educated group. In nutrition knowledge, there were significant increases in scores of 'function of carbohydrate' (p < 0.05), 'function of fat' (p < 0.01), 'function of vitamin' (p < 0.01), 'foods of carbohydrate' (p < 0.01), and 'foods of vitamin' (p < 0.01) in the educated group. After education, carbohydrate: protein: fat (CPF) ratio was significantly different between the two groups (education group, 59 : 16 : 26 vs. non-education group, 63 : 15 : 23). In evaluation of nutrient intake by Dietary Reference Intakes for Koreans (KDRIs), there were significant positive effects in energy (p < 0.05), thiamin (p < 0.05), riboflavin (p < 0.05), vitamin C (p < 0.05), phosphorus (p < 0.01), Fe (p < 0.01) and zinc (p < 0.01) in the education group compared to the non-education group. In conclusion, the developed 4 times' nutritional education pamphlet focused on individual daily energy requirements and food exchange units using food exchange system for higher grades' elementary student may positively change nutrition knowledge and dietary intakes.

여고생의 영양지식, 식태도, 식습관 및 식품영양표시에 대한 인식 (Nutrition Knowledge, Dietary Attitudes, Dietary Habits and Awareness of Food-Nutrition Labelling by Girl's High School Students)

  • This study was carried out to investigate the nutrition knowledge, dietary attitudes, and dietary habits of girl's high school students in Kunsan, and to investigate their recognition of food-nutrition labeling. The results are summarized as follows. General nutrition knowledge is relatively low, with an average of 0.57. It was shown that high school female students skipped breakfast rather than lunch or dinner, with a skipping rate of 28.9% for breakfast, 0.7% for lunch, and 8.6% for dinner. Regarding snacks, 35.5% of all the surveyed students had 1 snack per day, with 31.9% having them between lunch and dinner. The most popular snacks include biscuits (22.3%), noodles (18.3%) and bakery (13.3%). The most popular response was that students 'sometimes checked' the food label of processed domestic and imported processed food. The level of satisfaction with food labels is moderate, with an average of 2.96, out of 5. The most satisfactory title about food labels was 'helpful for food selection' with 3.19. On the other hand, the least satisfactory title was 'understands the label' with 2.78. Regarding the identification of the nutrition labeling, the highest response was 'sometimes watched, sometimes not' with 40.5%. Products which were most often checked were milk/milk products (3.44), snacks/bread (3.33), and soft drinks (3.07). Among nutrition labeling items, total calories was the most important, followed by fat, carbohydrate, cholesterol and calcium. The question regarding the knowledge of nutrition labeling rated an average of 0.58 (out of 1). There was a significant positive correlation between the degree of the nutrition label verification and the dietary attitude score, along with the nutrition labeling knowledge and the nutrition knowledge score of the subjects. On the other hand, the degree of the nutrition label verification and the knowledge on nutrition labeling had a significant negative correlation. Hence, it is of the opinion that education on properly reading nutrient information is necessary to enable adolescents to apply that in real life. Furthermore, labeling nutritional information on processed fred through a more comprehensive method is deemed necessary as a supporting measure.

식품알레르기 유경험 미취학아동 양육자의 지식 및 식사관리에 대한 연구 (Knowledge and management of food allergy by parents of preschool children who experience food allergies)

  • 본 연구는 식품알레르기 경험이 있는 미취학아동의 양육자를 대상으로 양육자가 식품알레르기 관리를 위해 필요한 교육이 무엇인지 파악하고자 하였다. 양육자 400명을 대상으로 2022년 7월 온라인 업체를 통해 설문조사를 진행하였으며, 모든 데이터는 SPSS 통계 (ver. 25)를 사용하여 분석되었다. 미취학아동의 식품알레르기 경험에도 불구하고 양육자의 식품알레르기 지식수준은 낮았다. 특히 '원인식품' (74.2%)과 '식품반응' (65.2%) 관련된 문항의 오답률이 높았다. 또한, 식품알레르기 지식수준을 '상', '중', '하'로 구분하여 평가한 결과 미취학아동의 연령에 따라 아동의 나이가 어릴수록 지식수준이 유의하게 높았다 (p < 0.05). 양육자의 식품알레르기 관리여부를 4가지 문항으로 측정한 결과, '식재료 및 조리기기 분리사용' (50.5%), '식품알레르기 유발표시 확인' (34.0%) 관리율이 낮았다. 식품알레기 진단여부에 따라 식재료 및 조리기기를 분리사용 관리에 유의적인 차이가 있었으며, 의사진단을 받은 미취학아동의 양육자 중 59.4%가 분리사용 관리를 하고 있었다 (p < 0.01). 또한, 식품알레르기 지식이 높아질수록 관리의 총점이 높아졌다 (r = 0.137, p < 0.01). 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 살펴볼 때 지식수준이 낮거나, 자녀가 만 4세 이상, 자가진단을 하는 양육자의 경우 식품알레르기 관리율이 낮았다. 따라서 해당 양육자의 지식수준을 높일 수 있는 '유발식품제한', '식품알레르기 유발표시 확인', '식재료 및 조리기기 분리사용' 하는 방법 등 맞춤 교육이 필요하다고 사료된다.

The Influence of Weaning Time on Deer Performance

  • Current growth in the deer industry is 20% per annum as the demand increases for venison in Europe, including the increased use in Asia of antlers as a natural medicine by humans. The deer industry in Australia has developed rapidly, but farm profitability has fluctuated markedly. The knowledge on deer farming has largely been adopted from New Zealand (NZ) and the United Kingdom (UK) although the environmental conditions in these deer growing countries differ markedly from Australia. The practice used for weaning is one of the key factors influencing the profitability of the industry. However, a wide range in weaning dates are practised by farmers leading to the question of whether deer should be weaned after mating to reduce the stress during weaning or should they be weaned in the pre-rut period to allow does to recover their body condition for the next reproduction cycle. This review examines the effect of weaning time on the performance of does and hinds and the subsequent growth rate of the fawns and calves. Gaps in knowledge of weaning procedures and nutritional management for early weaned deer are identified.

보건소 방문 어르신 대상 사회적 인지론 적용한 영양교육의 효과 (Effects of an Intervention of Nutrition Education Program based on Social Cognitive Theory for the Elderly Visiting Public Health Center in Jinhae-Province)

  • The aim of this study was to evaluate the effects of a nutrition education program for the elderly at a public health center located in Jinhae city. The one group pretest and posttest design was conducted using self-administered questionnaire survey. Nutrition education lessons based on social cognitive theory (2 hours/lesson, 3 times) were provided to 27 female elderly(${\geq}65$ yrs) for a month. After the nutrition education, number of exercise increased and preference for sweetness decreased significantly (p<0.05). The outcome expectations, the knowledge of nutrition (p<0.001), and behavioral capability (p<0.05) score were significantly increased. There were significant increases in all nutrient intake. NAR was increased significantly in protein, calcium and vitamin C (p<0.01), dietary fiber, iron, zinc, thiamin, niacin and folic acid (p<0.001), and riboflavin (p<0.05). INQ was increased significantly in thiamin, vitamin B6 and niacin (p<0.05), and dietary fiber (p<0.01). The score of nutrition education satisfaction was high (4.52). The results of this study suggested that the nutritional education program based on social cognitive theory had a positive effect on dietary behavior changes, and nutrition intake status among female elderly even after short-term intervention.

Skin Commensal Fungus Malassezia and Its Lipases

  • Malassezia is the most abundant genus in the fungal microflora found on human skin, and it is associated with various skin diseases. Among the 18 different species of Malassezia that have been identified to date, M. restricta and M. globosa are the most predominant fungal species found on human skin. Several studies have suggested a possible link between Malassezia and skin disorders. However, our knowledge on the physiology and pathogenesis of Malassezia in human body is still limited. Malassezia is unable to synthesize fatty acids; hence, it uptakes external fatty acids as a nutrient source for survival, a characteristic compensated by the secretion of lipases and degradation of sebum to produce and uptake external fatty acids. Although it has been reported that the activity of secreted lipases may contribute to pathogenesis of Malassezia, majority of the data were indirect evidences; therefore, enzymes' role in the pathogenesis of Malassezia infections is still largely unknown. This review focuses on the recent advances on Malassezia in the context of an emerging interest for lipases and summarizes the existing knowledge on Malassezia, diseases associated with the fungus, and the role of the reported lipases in its physiology and pathogenesis.

어머니의 영양지식과 식행동이 중학생 자녀의 식생활에 미치는 영향 (Association between Nutritional Knowledge and Dietary Behaviors of Middle School Children and Their Mothers)

  • 본 연구는 중학생의 영양지식과 식생활 실태를 파악하고 그 어머니의 영양지식과 식행동이 자녀의 식생활에 미치는 영향을 연구하기 위하여 시도되었다. 대구지역 중학생 357명(남학생 158명, 여학생 199명)과 그 어머니들을 대상으로 영양태도, 영양지식, 식습관, 식사섭취상태 등에 대하여 설문조사를 실시하여 조사 분석하였으며 그 결과는 아래와 같다. 1) 남학생의 어머니 평균 연령은 42.2세, 여학생의 어머니는 41.6세이며 학력은 대졸이상이 남학생의 어머니 46.8%, 여학생의 어머니 43.2%로 가장 높았다. 어머니가 직업을 가지고 있는 경우는 남학생이 41.1%, 여학생 43.2%이고, 월평균 수입은 남학생 가정이 381만원, 여학생 가정이 391만원이었다. 2) 영양태도 점수는 총 15점 만점에 남학생은 평균 10.47점, 여학생은 11.24점으로 여학생이 유의적으로 (p < 0.001) 높았으며, 남학생 어머니는 11.81점 여학생 어머니는 12.09점으로 유의적인 차이가 없었다. 영양지식 점수는 20점 기준으로 남학생 15.43점, 여학생 16.13점으로 역시 여학생의 평균 점수가 남학생에 비해 유의하게 (p < 0.01) 높게 조사되었고 어머니 점수는 약 17점으로 차이는 없었다. 식습관 점수는 15점 만점에 남학생 10.84점, 여학생 11.13점, 남학생 어머니 11.50점, 여학생 어머니 11.62점으로 유의적인 차이가 없었다. 3) 조사대상자들은 본인의 식습관 문제점으로 남학생은 '급하게 먹는 습관'을, 여학생은 '불규칙한 식사시간'을 들었고 어머니들은 '불규칙한 식사시간'을 가장 많이 응답하여 학생들과 비슷한 식습관 문제점을 가진 것으로 조사되었다. 식습관 형성에 영향을 준 인자로 학생, 어머니 모두 '부모님 형제자매'라고 응답한 비율이 가장 높아 올바른 식습관을 위한 가정의 역할이 중요함을 반영하였다. 또한 영양교육의 기회가 주어진다면 참여하겠다는 비율이 여학생에서 유의적으로 (p < 0.01) 높게 나타났고, 50% 이상의 어머니가 참석을 희망하여 학생과 어머니를 위한 영양교육 프로그램의 필요성을 제시하였다. 4) 섭취량이 가장 낮은 영양소는 칼슘이며, 남학생은 권장 섭취량의 63.2%, 여학생은 71.2%였으나, 어머니들은 권장섭취량 수준을 보여 양호하였다. 영양소 섭취의 질을 평가하기 위해 계산한 MAR 점수는 여학생이 0.89로 0.86인 남학생보다 유의적으로 (p < 0.01) 높았으며, 어머니들의 평균 영양소적정도는 0.90이었다. 5) 남 여학생 모두 영양태도와 영양지식 점수 간에 상관성이 있었고, 여학생의 경우는 영양태도와 식습관, 영양지식과 식습관, 식습관과 MAR간에도 유의적인 상관성을 보였다. 어머니와 학생자녀 간의 관련성을 살펴보았을 때 남학생의 식습관과 MAR이 각각 어머니의 식습관과 MAR과 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났고, 여학생과 그 어머니 사이에는 어머니의 영양태도, 식습관, MAR이 여학생 자녀의 영양태도, 영양지식, 식습관, MAR과 유의적인 정의 상관관계를 보였다. 이러한 결과는 어머니의 영향이 여학생 자녀에게 미치는 영향이 남학생과 어머니 사이에서 보다 더 크다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 가정은 아동이 식생활 관련 행위를 학습하고 습관을 형성하는 환경으로 부모의 영향력이 크게 작용한다. 특히 어머니는 식생활 관리자로서 그 영향력이 크다고 할 수 있어, 영양적으로 균형 잡힌 식사계획으로 학생의 영양 요구량을 충족시켜 주어야 하며 긍정적이고 바람직한 식사환경을 제공함으로써 자녀들이 건전한 식습관과 합리적인 식생활관리를 할 수 있도록 해 주어야한다. 따라서 어머니들에 대한 영양교육이 생활에 적용하여 실천할 수 있도록 교육의 내용 뿐 아니라 교육방법에 대한 방안이 다양하게 강구되어야 할 것이다. 또한 학생들의 영양교육의 방법이나 내용이 학생들의 성에 따라 상대적으로 달리 적용될 필요성이 있겠다.

일부 보육교사의 영양지식과 식생활태도 및 영양교육 요구 조사 (A Study on Nutrition Knowledge, Dietary Attitudes and Nutrition Education Needs among Child-Care Teachers)

  • This study was conducted on 175 child-care teachers, who participated in in-service education, to research the methods to improve child-care teacher's nutrition management capability for infants and children. Investigated results of child-care teachers' nutrition knowledge, dietary attitude status, and needs on nutrition education in child-care centers are as follows: The score of child-care teachers' nutrition knowledge was 10.83 points out of 15, which is about 72%. Total score increased as teachers' age but not significantly different from their career duration, since teachers who have a child-care career less than 5 years acquired 10.91 points, which is higher than 10.64 points of teachers having more than 5 years of child-care career. Teachers' average recognition to the nutrition knowledge was 90.6%, increased significantly by the older they are, and decreased according to the accumulation of their career. The average accuracy of the nutrition knowledge was 79.7%, increased in proportion to the teachers' age. The marks of child-care teachers' dietary attitude were 41.3 points (possible score range 5-50) and 83%, older teachers tended to have more desirable dietary attitude. As indicated by the increment of child-care career, the score of emotional attitude tended to be increased but which of cognitive and behavioral attitude showed a declining tendency. Nutrition information which child-care teachers were mainly interested in were correct selection of food (58.1%), obesity and weight management (52.7%), and nutrient content of food (44.9%). Nutrition education contents which child-care teachers needed were 'nutritious food and menu for child' (72.2%), 'health management of child' (69.2%) and meal management of child (40.2%). Nutrition education methods, which child-care teachers considered as of desirable ones, were cooking class of small scale (31.8%), visiting class at child-care center (26.5%). In consequence, the nutrition knowledge and dietary attitude of child-care teachers were not good and showed different issues by age and career duration. Therefore, it is requisite to intensify nutrition management courses in child-care teachers' qualification and in-service education courses which has actual necessity and suitability based on teachers' age, career, and the type of child-care center, and to disseminate these through public health centers and child-care & education information centers to pursue the efficient balance of nutrition education programs.
