The purpose of the present study is to investigate the effect of time remaining to use mileage in the notification message from retailers on consumer responses. A total of 577 consumers participated in experiments involving different notification messages of the time remaining to use mileage. Results showed: 1) a significant difference in mileage benefit perception, positive emotion, negative emotion, attitude toward retailers, and repurchase intention according to the remaining time to use mileages, 2) benefit perception positively affected positive emotion and negatively affected negative emotion; positive emotion positively affected and negative emotion negatively affected attitude toward retailers; and attitude positively affected repurchase intention on retailers, and 3) the remaining time to use mileages moderates the relationship between attitude and repurchase intention. Findings highlighted the importance of timing of the message to notify the consumer as to remaining time to use mileage. In the case of a message indicating long remaining time to use mileage, consumers showed more positive responses toward retailers than did consumers who had a message indicating short remaining time to use mileage. These results can be used as guidelines to select the optimal time to send notification messages of remaining time to use mileage in order to generate positive consumer responses.

본 논문에서는 스마트폰에 실행되는 여러 종류의 모바일 트래픽 중, 급격히 증가한 SNS 트래픽 해결 방안으로 통합 SNS 게이트웨이 서버에 대한 설계를 제안한다. 현재 모바일 SNS 애플리케이션들은 해당하는 SNS 서버에 각각 대응하여 개별적으로 접근하여 정보를 갱신한다. 우리가 제안하는 통합 SNS 게이트웨이는 이러한 SNS들을 하나로 통합하고, 단말과 SNS 서버 사이에 게이트웨이 서버를 두어 자주 반복되는 데이터 요청에 대하여 트래픽을 줄이고, 모바일 통신환경을 개선할 수 있는 방법을 제안한다. 또한, 단말과 통합 SNS 게이트웨이 서버 간의 푸시 알림 서비스를 위하여 MQTT 프로토콜의 QoS레벨과 페이로드 크기를 다양하게 전달하여 캡처하여 분석하고, 메시지에 대한 종단 간 지연 및 패킷 손실에 대한 분석 결과를 활용하여 MQTT 기반의 통합 SNS 게이트웨이 푸시 알림 서비스를 위한 프로토콜 설계 결과를 제시한다.

최근 국민들의 삶의 질이 높아짐에 따라 국외 여행의 수요가 급증하고 있으며, 늘어난 국외여행 수만큼 국외에서 여행자들의 다양한 사건사고 피해가 증가되고 있다. 하지만 국외 여행자들이 이용할 수 있는 안전시스템은 부족하다. 따라서 여행자들을 위한 국가별 재난 범죄 및 위험지역에 대한 정보제공 서비스가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 국외 여행자의 상황별 긴급 대처를 위한 웨어러블 디바이스 기반의 스마트 안전 알림서비스 시스템을 제안한다. 제안된 시스템은 재난 범죄 및 위험지역에 대한 정보제공이며 보호자 및 사용자에게 제공할 수 있도록 설계하였다.

We propose a face recognition and notification system that can transform visual face information into tactile signals in order to help visually impaired people. The proposed system consists of a glasses type camera, a mobile computer and an electronic cane. The glasses type camera captures the frontal view of the user, and sends this image to mobile computer. The mobile computer starts to search for human's face in the image when obstacles are detected by ultrasonic sensors. In a case that human's face is detected, the mobile computer identifies detected face. At this time, Adaboost and compressive sensing are used as a detector and a classifier, respectively. After the identification procedures of the detected face, the identified face information is sent to controller attached to a cane using a Bluetooth communication. The controller generates motor control signals using Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) according to the recognized face labels. The vibration motor generates vibration patterns to inform the visually impaired person of the face recognition result. The experimental results of face recognition and notification system show that proposed system is helpful for visually impaired people by providing person identification results in front of him/her.

이벤트에 기반한 약결합의 분산 응용이 인터넷과 같은 광역네트워크 상에서의 주요 응용분야로 대두되고 있다. 이를 지원하기 위해 이벤트 통지서비스가 필요하다. 광역 네트웍크상에서 이벤트 통지 서비스를 구현하는 방법으로 내용기반 이벤트 라우팅이 최근 활발히 연구되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 효과적인 내용기반 이벤트 라우팅 알고리즘을 구현하기 위해 기존에 발표된 대표적인 이벤트 통지서비스 시스템인 SIENA에 바탕을 두고, SIENA에서의 이벤트 라우팅 알고리즘의 문제점을 분석하고 이를 개선한 라우팅 알고리즘을 제안한다.

Nowadays a disaster event such as a building on fire, an earthquake or typhoon could occur any time, and any where. In such event, a warning notification system is a vital tool to send warning notifications to at-risk people in advance and provide them useful information to escape the dangerous area. Though some systems have been proposed such as emergency alert system using android, SMS or P2P overlay network, these works mainly focus on a reliable message distribution methods. In this work, we introduce a full prototype implementation of a personalized warning notification system based on geosocial information, which generates a personalized warning message for each user and delivers the messages through email or an android application. The system consists of four main modules: a web interface, database, a knowledge-based message generator, and message distributor. An android application is also created for user to receive warning messages on their smart phone. The prototype has been demonstrated successfully with a building-on-fire scenario.

We propose and implement a flexible secure peer-to-peer(P2P) file sharing scheme which can be used for data sharing among closed user group (CUG) members. When a member wants to share data, notification messages are sent to the members with whom the member wants to share data. Each notification message includes one-time password encrypted with the receiver's public key. A member who received the notification message can download the data by using the one-time password. The proposed scheme provides selective sharing, download confirmation and efficient storage management. In terms of security, the proposed scheme supports authentication, entity privacy, replay attack protection and disguise prevention. We also implement the proposed system and find that the system is very useful among P2P service of closed user groups.

Purpose: Children's swimming pools are picking up faster than the other types of swimming pool. Yet, safety law-related studies are still lack. This study is to review legal status of children's swimming pool in Korea and to discuss the related legal issues for safety management of children's swimming pool. Research design, data, and methodology: The study reviewed law and clauses for sport facility management and related legal clauses with chilren's swimming pool management, and sport facility-related articles. Results: Safety management of children's swimming pool should currently follow law for sport and physical education facility management because of no its own legal norm for children's swimming pool. Given this, specific law and clauses for children's pool management need to be legislated to prevent risks for children and to satisfy specific safety factors considering careless behavior of children. Conclusions: Regarding this, the study points out five suggestions. First, law should be established to make notification of safety rules mandatory and this notification should be placed in the pool. This notification would be better effective if it is visualized. Second, according to law, safety 7 rules of children' s swimming pool need to be legistrated and educated for pool managers to obey them. Pool managers could also add their own rules to the 7 rules. Finally, preparation of emergency kits and safety devices need to be mandatory in the pool. Further implications were discussed.

A plantar pressure mat with visual notifications was developed to confirm whether individuals can effectively balance themselves and correct imbalances. The sensor-embedded mat was made with a commercial yoga mat, and was tested on seven working women in their 30s to determine plantar pressure distribution when standing and squatting, and if they could recognize and correct imbalances with visual feedback. The study found that visual notifications significantly changed the plantar pressure ratio of the forefoot and hindfoot, as well as the left and right foot plantar pressure ratio. Without notifications, the center of gravity was more concentrated in the rear foot than the forefoot in both standing and squatting positions. Visual notifications showed that the center of gravity, which was largely focused on the rear foot, was distributed to the forefoot, resulting in a more evenly distributed center of gravity throughout the sole. For the change in left and right plantar pressure, the weight that was largely loaded on the left side was distributed to the right foot through the visual notification mat, confirming a more balanced plantar pressure.

미의회는 증가하는 성범죄를 예방하고, 시민의 안전을 보호하기 위하여 성범죄자 등록 및 공개법을 통합 제정하였다. 즉, 2006년 미연방은 웨털링법(the Jacob Wetterling Act)과 메간법(Megan's Law)을 통합하여 AWA(the Adam Walsh Child Protection and Safety Act)를 제정하였다. AWA는 불일치하는 주법의 흠결을 제거하고, 성범죄자 등록 및 공개에 대한 국가적 기준을 제시하기 위한 목적을 갖고 있다. 그러나 AWA의 등록요건이 지나치게 포괄적이고, 처벌중심의 법이라는 비판을 받고 있다. 또한 AWA는 폭력범죄와 비폭력범죄를 구별하지 않고 등록을 요구하고 있으며, 심지어 청소년 성범죄자까지 등록대상으로 삼고 있다. 그런 이유로 납세자인 시민은 AWA의 이익향유자가 못 되고, 오히려 등록된 수많은 성범죄자들을 관리 감독하기 위해 필요한 재정적 부담을 짊어져야 할 처지에 놓여 있다. 따라서 재정적 부담을 줄이고, 시민과 성범죄자 모두에게 이익이 될 수 있도록 AWA는 흉악한 폭력범죄를 저지른 성범죄자로서 위험성이 있고, 재범의 가능성이 있는 범죄자만을 등록시키도록 해야 하며, 청소년 성범죄자들 특히, 비폭력적이며 재범의 가능성이 없는 청소년들은 적절한 치료를 우선적으로 받게 함으로써 재사회화될 수 있는 길을 열어주는 것이 바람직할 것이다.
