인터렉티브 텔레프롬프터의 설계 (Design of Interactive Teleprompter)

  • 본 논문에서는 실시간 방송 및 스마트 미러 등과 같은 사용자 개인 또는 다른 사용자들과의 상호 작용이 가능한 인터렉티브 텔레프롬프터의 개념을 소개, 논의하고 실제 제작 사례를 제시한다. 이 적용 분야에서는 사용자 자신 또는 사용자와 제3자 사이의 시선의 일치가 심리적인 측면과 비음성적 커뮤니케이션에서 중요한 역할을 차지한다. 그러나 일반적인 모니터와 카메라의 조합만으로는 실제 거울을 보는 것과 같은 시선 일치를 구현하기가 쉽지 않기 때문에, 기존 방송 현장에서 널리 사용하는 텔레프롬프터의 원리를 응용한다. 제안하는 설계에서는 기존 방식과는 달리 깊이 정보를 통한 제스처 인식까지 구현하며 가시광선 정보와 적외선 정보 각각의 효율적인 처리를 위해서 텔레프롬프터에서 핵심적인 역할을 담당하는 빔 스플리터의 설계 사례와 실험 결과를 제시한다.

Microblog User Geolocation by Extracting Local Words Based on Word Clustering and Wrapper Feature Selection

  • Existing methods always rely on statistical features to extract local words for microblog user geolocation. There are many non-local words in extracted words, which makes geolocation accuracy lower. Considering the statistical and semantic features of local words, this paper proposes a microblog user geolocation method by extracting local words based on word clustering and wrapper feature selection. First, ordinary words without positional indications are initially filtered based on statistical features. Second, a word clustering algorithm based on word vectors is proposed. The remaining semantically similar words are clustered together based on the distance of word vectors with semantic meanings. Next, a wrapper feature selection algorithm based on sequential backward subset search is proposed. The cluster subset with the best geolocation effect is selected. Words in selected cluster subset are extracted as local words. Finally, the Naive Bayes classifier is trained based on local words to geolocate the microblog user. The proposed method is validated based on two different types of microblog data - Twitter and Weibo. The results show that the proposed method outperforms existing two typical methods based on statistical features in terms of accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score.

SMART CARD 기반 생체인식 사용자 인증시스템의 구현 (Implementation for the Biometric User Identification System Based on Smart Card)

  • 본 논문은 Smart Card의 일종인 비 접촉 IC 카드의 내부 데이터를 사용하여, 생체인식 요소인 홍채폐턴을 이용한 사용자 인증 시스템의 인증률 향상을 도모한 연구이다. 먼저, CCD 카메라로 입력 받은 안구영상에서 홍채영역을 추출하고, GHA(Generalized Hebbian Algorithm)웨이트를 이용하여 PCA(Principal Component Analysis) Coefficient를 Smart Card 내부에 저장한다. 사용자 인증시에는 실시간으로 입력되는 사용자의 생체 인식 정보와 카드 내부의 사용자 생체 인식 정보를 비교하여, 동일한 경우에 그 인식 정보를 SVM(Support Vector Machine)을 사용하여 분류하였다. 본 논문에서는 실시간 테스트 실험 결과 이전에 개발된 시스템보다 사용자의 인증률이 우수해 짐을 보였다.

  • 최근 여러 지역에서 발생되는 지하철 참사 및 대형화재 또는 대형 지하상가, 백화점, 지하공간, 대형쇼핑센터, 숙박업소, 공공건물등 대형 다중이용시설등에서 발생될 수 있는 예측 불가능한 인재, 천재지변에 안전하게 대피하기 위한 수단으로 비상등 및 여러 감지기들이 소방법 개정으로 의무설치 하고 있다. 현재 많이 사용되는 휴대용 비상등 및 감지기는 방음벽이나 격벽, 경고 거리의 제한으로 인해 비상시 경고 전파에 많은 어려움을 갖는다. 본 연구에서는 화재 감지/경고 시스템에 최근 다양하게 활용되는 유비쿼터스 센서 네트워크를 적용하여 화재 감지 및 가스누출을 조기 감지 및 경고하고 휴대용 조명등의 위치를 대피자들에게 알림으로써 신속히 대피할 수 있도록 하는 무선 화재 감지/경고 시스템을 제안하고자 한다.

조직 간 파워 유형과 SCM 사용자만족 (Inter-Organizational Power Type and SCM User Satisfaction)

  • Companies are required to have adequate understanding and awareness of a partner company within the supply chain, together with the understanding of the imbalance consequent on power types. Therefore, this study intends to look into the power types and make clear their influence on confidence & commitment and causal relationship that is linked to SCM user satisfaction. The concrete research results are as follows. First, the result showed that none of the behavioral coercive, high-handed reward, and relative legitimacy in terms of Mediated power had a significant influence on confidence and commitment. Like this, the result explains that there is a limit to forcibleness power in forming a continuous, long-term relationship. Second, business expertise, professional information and value reference in terms of Non-Mediated power were all found to have a significant influence on confidence and commitment. This could be judged as having an intention of aggressively accepting a partner company's expertise, information strength and imitable culture, etc. Third, both confidence and commitment was found to have a significant influence on SCM user satisfaction.

Block-Level Resource Allocation with Limited Feedback in Multicell Cellular Networks

  • In this paper, we investigate the scheduling and power allocation for coordinated multi-point transmission in downlink long term evolution advanced (LTE-A) systems, where orthogonal frequency division multiple-access is used. The proposed scheme jointly optimizes user selection, power allocation, and modulation and coding scheme (MCS) selection to maximize the weighted sum throughput with fairness consideration. Considering practical constraints in LTE-A systems, the MCSs for the resource blocks assigned to the same user need to be the same. Since the optimization problem is a combinatorial and non-convex one with high complexity, a low-complexity algorithm is proposed by separating the user selection and power allocation into two subproblems. To further simplify the optimization problem for power allocation, the instantaneous signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio (SINR) and the average SINR are adopted to allocate power in a single cell and multiple coordinated cells, respectively. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme can improve the average system throughput and the cell-edge user throughput significantly compared with the existing schemes with limited feedback.

3차원 로봇 시뮬레이션 환경을 위한 웹 기반의 사용자 스크립트 연동 시스템 개발 (Development of Web-based User Script Linking System for Three-dimensional Robot Simulation)

  • 로봇의 움직임은 3차원 공간상의 다관절 좌표계의 회전 및 이송으로 표현된다. 이러한 좌표계 모델링을 위해 동차 변환 행렬의 관계식으로 표현하나 복잡한 3차원 공간상의 움직임을 고려하여 시각화 기법을 이용한 시뮬레이션 환경 기반의 모델링 및 생성한 동작의 확인이 필수적이다. 기존 시뮬레이션 환경의 경우, 플랫폼 의존도가 높으면 정해진 명령어의 수행으로 구성되어 사용성 및 확장의 한계성이 있었다. 본 논문에서는, 웹 기반의 3차원 시뮬레이션 환경을 구축하고, 소형 웹 서버 모듈과 사용성이 용이한 Python 스크립트의 연동 방식을 통해 높은 사용자 접근성을 얻고자 한다. 또한 로봇 제어를 위한 비선형 모델의 적용 사례를 통해 제안된 시스템의 연산 능력, 프로세스 관리 방식의 성능 및 사용자 스크립트 연동을 통한 확장성을 검증하고자 한다.

Real-time Multi-device Control System Implementation for Natural User Interactive Platform

  • Natural user interface (NUI) is used for the natural motion interface without using a specific device or tool like a mouse, keyboards, and pens. Recently, as non-contact sensor-based interaction technologies for recognizing human motion, gestures, voice, and gaze have been actively studied, an environment has been prepared that can provide more diverse contents based on various interaction methods compared to existing methods. However, as the number of sensors device is rapidly increasing, the system using a lot of sensors can suffer from a lack of computational resources. To address this problem, we proposed a real-time multi-device control system for natural interactive platform. In the proposed system, we classified two types of devices as the HC devices such as high-end commercial sensor and the LC devices such astraditional monitoring sensor with low-cost. we adopt each device manager to control efficiently. we demonstrate a proposed system works properly with user behavior such as gestures, motions, gazes, and voices.

지진파 탁월주기를 고려한 비구조요소의 수평설계지진력 평가 (A Study on Evaluation of Horizontal Force of Non-structural Components Considering Predominant Periods of Seismic Waves)

  • In the event of an earthquake, non-structural components require seismic performance to ensure evacuation routes and to protect lives from falling non-structural components. Accordingly, the seismic design code proposes horizontal force for the design and evaluation of non-structural components. Ground motion observed on each floor is affected by a building's eigen vibration mode. Therefore, the earthquake damage of non-structural components is determined by the characteristics of the non-structural component system and the vibration characteristics of the building. Floor response spectra in the seismic design code are estimated through time history analysis using seismic waves. However, it is difficult to use floor response spectra as a design criterion because of user-specific uncertainties of time history analysis. In addition, considering the response characteristics of high-rise buildings to long-period ground motions, the safety factor of the proposed horizontal force may be low. Therefore, this study carried out the horizontal force review proposed in the seismic design code through dynamic analysis and evaluated the floor response of seismic waves considering buildings and predominant periods of seismic waves.

가에타노 페세의 디자인에서 나타나는 비재현성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Non-Representational Characteristics that Appears in the Design of Gaetano Pesce)

  • Since the 1960's, diverse movements that oppose the uniform design tendency of modernism appears in Italy. Especially, Gaetano Pesce, who opposed uniformity and standardization that are based on mass production system, had interests in making unique product, not an identical product, while accepting modern production technology. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to comprehend Pesce's design, which creates diversity by arranging contingent, non-predictive, and episodic aspects in creative and acceptance processes according to the intension of the designer within mass production system, as a non-representational characteristic, which appears widely in modern thought and the arts, and examine how it is materialized in detailed design work. The study methods are first examining non-representation with theoretical contemplation and dealing with the design philosophy of Pesce based on the examination. Next, in order to discover non-representational characteristics that appear in the work of Pesce, it examines from introducing worker's creativity, user's possibility of choice, openness in the working process, and the aspects of researching materials. And a specific application method will be drawn through case analysis centered on furniture design. Gaetano Pesce's design that denies the world of representation based on the sameness comes to possess non-representational characteristics that acknowledge contingency and ceaselessly create difference by intentionally arranging during the working process.
