항공기 제빙 시스템의 인증에 대한 연구 (Study for Certification of Aircraft De-icing System)

  • De-icing system is essential for any aircraft to fly in icing conditions. So there are two kinds of aircraft-those that are certificated for flight in icing conditions and those that are not. Icing certification involves a rigorous testing program, and relatively few light aircraft carry this approval. From a legal perspective, aircraft that do not have all required ice protection equipment installed and functional are prohibited from venturing into an area where icing conditions are known. There are a few kinds of de-icing system. It is necessary to review the systems in point of aircraft certification considering the operational and safety issues.

  • 1988년 4월 10일부터 17일까지 오스트레일리아의 Sydney에서 개최된 제7차 IRPA 국제학회에서 발표된 방사선방어에 관한 연구논문들을 전반적으로 검토하여 방사선 연구의 동향을 파악하는 한편, 전리방사선 안전분야에서 일어나고 있는 변화와 비전리 방사선 영역에서 증가되고 있는 관심사항등을 소개함으로써 금번 제7차 IRPA 국제학회의 면모를 소개한다. 첨가하여 IRPA 7 국제학회의 poster session에서 발표된 연구논문, '황산망간 용액조 방법에 의한 Cf-252 중성자 선원의 방출률측정'이 전재된다.

  • This paper proposes a method to protect the copyright of creators' content shared through an online sharing platform in a legal battle. When creators upload their independent creation content to the online sharing platform, it automatically upload information necessary for copyright effect to this system. The data warehouse of this system is as a private blockchain for to ensure non-repudiation and transparency of the information. We present that the data warehouse is to build as Hyperledger Fabric in this paper. And We present the transaction data structure of the blockchain to prevent orphan works. We also dealt with how to build a website where users can conveniently check the data (copyright related information) of this blockchain.

  • This paper described the contents of the WTO (world trade organization) SPS (world trade organization) Agreement and trends in the WTO SPS provisions such as equivalence, localization, transparency, and risk assessment. The purpose of the WTO SPS agreement is to promote international trade by preventing arbitrary and unreasonable use of SPS measures, which are the rights of a country for the protection of human health and animal and plant health, and by abolishing the non-tariff barriers. To this end, the requirements for implementing the SPS measures taken by the importing country are restricted to those that can scientifically prove to be inevitable for SPS protection. The major provisions in WTO SPS agreement were elaborated to promote international trades. When trade-restricted SPS measures such as prohibition of imports are made, a scientific basis should be provided. Therefore, it is essential to provide scientific evidence based on risk analysis to protect people's health from potentially harmful imported foods.

  • 본 논문에서는 이동 에이전트의 시큐리터 취약성을 살펴보고 이를 보호하기 위한 기존 연구를 분석한 후, 이동 에이전트 보호를 위한 새로운 방안을 제안하였다. 제안 방안은 이동 에이전트 수행 결과를 보호할 뿐만 아니라 이동 에이전트 실행 추적도 가능하다. 또한, 이동 에이전트 실행에 대한 부인 방지, 전방향 무결성, 삽입 또는 삭제 공격 방지 특성을 지닌다.

  • Vaccines help protect people from infections. However, Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) vaccinees often still become infected with COVID-19 variants (breakthrough infections) and may go on to suffer from long COVID symptoms due to short-lasting immunity and less-effective protection provided by available vaccines. Moreover, the current COVID-19 vaccines do not prevent viral transmission and ward off only about 15% of breakthrough infections. To prepare more effective vaccines, it is essential to predict the viral strains that will be circulating based on available epidemiological data. The World Health Organization recommends in advance which influenza strains are expected to be prevalent during influenza season to guide the production of influenza vaccines by pharmaceutical companies. However, future emerging COVID-19 strain(s) have not been possible to predict since no sound epidemiological information has been established. Thus, for more effective protection, immune stimulators alone or in combination with vaccines would be preferable to protect people from COVID-19 infection. One of those remedies would be ginseng, which has been used for potentiating immunity in the past.

  • During the medical data transmissions, the protection of the patient information is vital. Hence this work proposes a spatial domain watermarking algorithm that enhances the data payload (capacity) while maintaining the authentication and data hiding. The code is distributed at every pixel of the digital image and not only in the regions of non-interest pixels. But the image details are still preserved. The performance of the proposed algorithm is evaluated using several performance measures such as the mean square error (MSE), the mean absolute error (MAE), and the peak signal to noise Ratio (PSNR), the universal image quality index (UIQI) and the structural similarity index (SSIM).

A "Prime and Deploy" Strategy for Universal Influenza Vaccine Targeting Nucleoprotein Induces Lung-Resident Memory CD8 T cells

  • Lung-resident memory T cells (TRM) play an essential role in protecting against pulmonary virus infection. Parenteral administration of DNA vaccine is generally not sufficient to induce lung CD8 TRM cells. This study investigates whether intramuscularly administered DNA vaccine expressing the nucleoprotein (NP) induces lung TRM cells and protects against the influenza B virus. The results show that DNA vaccination poorly generates lung TRM cells and massive secondary effector CD8 T cells entering the lungs after challenge infection do not offer sufficient protection. Nonetheless, intranasal administration of non-replicating adenovirus vector expressing no Ag following priming DNA vaccination deploys NP-specific CD8 TRM cells in the lungs, which subsequently offers complete protection. This novel 'prime and deploy' strategy could be a promising regimen for a universal influenza vaccine targeting the conserved NP Ag.

  • In the hazardous areas where explosive substances in the form of gases, vapor or mists exist, electrical apparatus and installations must be of explosion-proof construction to prevent or limit the danger of the ignition of potentially explosive atmosphere. In Korea, six types of protection have been specified in the government regulations at present: flameproof enclosure, pressurization, oil immersion, increased safety, intrinsic safety, and special types. If electrical apparatus are made of explosion-proof construction in a way other than five above-mentioned types, and their performance is tested and approved by the reponsible authorities, they may be categorized as special type apparatus. In this paper, we introduced a special type of explosion-proof electrical apparatus, called non-incendive type, and presented its constructional requirements. We also investigated evaluation methods of non-incendive type apparatus to assure the explosion-proof performance, and proposed a new classification method of hazardous areas using probabilistic concept.

비 기술혁신과 기업의 경영성과 사이에서 전유성의 매개효과 (Mediating effect of appropriation between non-technical innovation and business performance)

  • 본 연구에서는 조직혁신과 마케팅혁신 같은 비 기술혁신 활동 이외에 전유성은 어떠한 메커니즘을 가지고 기업의 경영성과에 영향을 미치는지에 대해서 실증분석을 통해 검증하고자 하였다. 이에 과학기술정책연구원(STEPI)에서 실시한 '2018년 한국기업혁신조사: 제조업부분'으로부터 자료를 수집하여 분석 데이터로 활용하였고 회귀분석을 통해 가설을 검증한 결과 비 기술혁신은 경영성과를 향상시키고, 전유성은 비 기술혁신에 영향을 받으며, 경영성과 사이에 매개 요인으로 작용함을 실증분석을 통해 검증하였다. 이러한 것을 통해 최근 연구되고 있는 비 기술혁신에 대하여 비 기술혁신과 함께 전유성을 고려하는 것이 의미 있는 연구가 될 수 있음을 도출하였고, 실무적 시사점으로는 전유성의 확보가 기업의 경영성과를 결정하는 중요한 요인이기에 기업에서는 전유성 확보를 위한 전략적 통찰이 필요하다. 한계점으로는 비 기술혁신과 전유성의 매개효과를 가지는 것을 검증하는 연구로 제한하였으며, 추후 연구에는 보다 다양한 검증 방법을 통해 기업의 경영성과에 미치는 연구로 발전해 나가는 것도 가능할 것으로 판단된다.
