The simulation of non-stationary wind velocity is particularly crucial for the wind resistant design of slender structures. Recently, some data-driven simulation methods have received much attention due to their straightforwardness. However, as the number of simulation points increases, it will face efficiency issues. Under such a background, in this paper, a time-varying coherence matrix decomposition method based on Diagonal Proper Orthogonal Decomposition (DPOD) interpolation is proposed for the data-driven simulation of non-stationary wind velocity based on S-transform (ST). Its core idea is to use coherence matrix decomposition instead of the decomposition of the measured time-frequency power spectrum matrix based on ST. The decomposition result of the time-varying coherence matrix is relatively smooth, so DPOD interpolation can be introduced to accelerate its decomposition, and the DPOD interpolation technology is extended to the simulation based on measured wind velocity. The numerical experiment has shown that the reconstruction results of coherence matrix interpolation are consistent with the target values, and the interpolation calculation efficiency is higher than that of the coherence matrix time-frequency interpolation method and the coherence matrix POD interpolation method. Compared to existing data-driven simulation methods, it addresses the efficiency issue in simulations where the number of Cholesky decompositions increases with the increase of simulation points, significantly enhancing the efficiency of simulating multivariate non-stationary wind velocities. Meanwhile, the simulation data preserved the time-frequency characteristics of the measured wind velocity well.
Mars exploration demands aerodynamic computations for a proper design of missions of spacecraft carrying instruments and astronauts to Mars. Both Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Direct Simulation Monte Carlo (DSMC) method play a key role for this purpose. To the author's knowledge, the altitude separating the fields of applicability of CFD and DSMC in Mars atmosphere entry is not yet clearly defined. The limitations in using DSMC at low altitudes are due to technical limitations of the computer. The limitations in using CFD at high altitudes are due to thermodynamic non-equilibrium. Here, this problem is studied in Mars atmosphere entry, considering the Mars Pathfinder capsule in the altitude interval 40-80 km, by means of a DSMC code. Non-equilibrium is quantified by the relative differences between translational temperature and: rotational (θt-r), vibrational (θt-v), overall (θt-ov) temperatures, anisotropy is quantified by the relative difference between the translational temperature component along x and those along y (θx-y) and along z (θx-z). The results showed that θt-r, θt-v, θx-y, θx-z are almost equivalent. The altitude of 45 km should be the limit altitude for a proper use of a CFD code and the altitude of 40 km should be the limit altitude for a reasonable use of a DSMC code.
Realistic assessment of the performance of reinforced concrete structural members like columns is needed for designing new structures or maintenance of the existing structural members. This assessment requires analytical capability of employing proper material models and cyclic rules and considering various load and displacement patterns. A computer application was developed to analyze the non-linear, cyclic flexural performance of reinforced concrete structural members under various types of loading paths including non-sequential variations in axial load and bi-axial cyclic load or displacement. Different monotonic material models as well as hysteresis rules, were implemented in a fiber-based moment-curvature and in turn force-deflection analysis, using proper assumptions on curvature distribution along the member, as in plastic-hinge models. Performance of the program was verified against analytical results by others, and accuracy of the analytical process and the implemented models were evaluated in comparison to the experimental results. The computer application can be used to predict the response of a member with an arbitrary cross section and various type of lateral and longitudinal reinforcement under different combinations of loading patterns in axial and bi-axial directions. On the other hand, the application can be used to examine analytical models and methods using proper experimental data.
Using the belongs to relation (${\in}$) and quasi-coincidence with relation (q) between fuzzy points and fuzzy sets, the concept of (${\alpha}$, ${\beta}$)-fuzzy subalgebras where ${\alpha}$ and ${\beta}$ areany two of {${\in}$, q, ${\in}{\vee}q$, ${\in}{\wedge}q$} with ${\alpha}{\neq}{\in}{\wedge}q$ was already introduced, and related properties were investigated (see [3]). In this paper, we give a condition for an (${\in}$, ${\in}{\vee}q$)-fuzzy subalgebra to be an (${\in}$, ${\in}$)-fuzzy subalgebra. We provide characterizations of an (${\in}$, ${\in}{\vee}q$)-fuzzy subalgebra. We show that a proper (${\in}$, ${\in}$)-fuzzy subalgebra $\mathfrak{A}$ of X with additional conditions can be expressed as the union of two proper non-equivalent (${\in}$, ${\in}$)-fuzzy subalgebras of X. We also prove that if $\mathfrak{A}$ is a proper (${\in}$, ${\in}{\vee}q$)-fuzzy subalgebra of a CK/BCI-algebra X such that #($\mathfrak{A}(x){\mid}\mathfrak{A}(x)$ < 0.5} ${\geq}2$, then there exist two prope non-equivalent (${\in}$, ${\in}{\vee}q$)-fuzzy subalgebras of X such that $\mathfrak{A}$ can be expressed as the union of them.
A finite group G is called a $\mathcal{QNS}$-group if every minimal subgroup X of G is either quasinormal in G or self-normalizing. In this paper the authors classify the non-$\mathcal{QNS}$-groups whose proper subgroups are all $\mathcal{QNS}$-groups.

This paper discuss some properties of non-monotonic fuzzy measures of Ф -bounded variation. We show that there is an example of Ф such that $\beta$V(x, F) is a proper subspace of Ф$\beta$V(x, F) And also, we prove that Ф$\beta$V(x, F) is a real Banach space. Furthermore, we investigate some properties of non-monotonic fuzzy Ф -measures.
A effective and accurate method of hot-forging process is essential to the design of optimized dies as well as workpiece of intial shape. the former is achieved by a proper forging sequence with invokes serious problem like excessive load and die wear, die failure, underfilling and lap defects. the latter is achieved by a proper preform design of case I, case II, case III. metal forming processes of aluminum-alloy forged at an effective strain and temperature are analyzed by the finite element method. the non-isothermal analysis have been compared with optimized in terms of preform shape.
In modern manufacturing, a product consists of many components created by different processes. Variations in the individual component dimensions and in the processes may result in unacceptable final assemblies. Thus, engineers have increased pressure to properly set tolerance specifications for individual components and to control manufacturing processes. When a proper variation stack-up analysis is not performed for all of the components in a functional system, all component parts can be within specifications, but the final assembly may not be functional. Thus, in order to improve the performance of the final assembly, a proper variation stack-up analysis is essential for specifying dimensional tolerances and process control. This research provides a detailed case example of the use of variation stack-up analysis using a Monte Carlo simulation method to improve the defect rate of a complex process, which is the commutator brush track undercut process of an armature assembly of a small motor. Variations in individual component dimensions and process mean shifts cause high defect rate, Since some dimensional characteristics have non-normal distributions and the stack-up function is non-linear, the Monte Carlo simulation method is used.
In this paper an effective two-phase approach adopting modified p-median mathematical model is proposed for grouping machines and parts in cellular manufacturing(CM). Unlike the conventional methods allowing machines and parts to be improperly assigned to cells and families, the proposed approach seeks to find the proper block diagonal solution where all the machines and parts are properly assigned to their most associated cells and families in term of the actual machine processing and part moves. Phase 1 uses the modified p-median formulation adopting new inter-machine similarity coefficient based on the non-binary production data-based part-machine incidence matrix(PMIM) that reflects both the operation sequences and production volumes for the parts to find machine cells. Phase 2 apollos iterative reassignment procedure to minimize inter-cell part moves and maximize within-cell machine utilization by reassigning improperly assigned machines and parts to their most associated cells and families. Computational experience with the data sets available on literature shows the proposed approach yields good-quality proper block diagonal solution.
Changing demographics and social values suggest that marketers will see an increase in the number of solo customers. Solo consumer often have different reasons for their solo consumer shopping experience. Proper offer of the shopping environment or services and proper training of the service provider to recognize these different motivation will result in a higher level of satisfaction for all solo consumer. The purposes of this study are to identify the demographic characteristics of solo consumer and investigate the difference of solo consumer' shopping orientation in clothes shopping process. To test research problems, Data were collected by means of a survey questionnaire, which was sent to 250 single in Pusan and Ulsan. In total, 224 were returned and 25 were unusable because of unacceptable levels of missing data. The Results were summarized as follows: First, solo consumer had higher incomes, and higher education experience. Second, solo consumer and non-solo consumer (companion consumer) group had significantly different shopping orientation about ostentationbrand, convenience, and hedonic.
