The effect of plant growth regulators on proliferation of shoot from stem node culture of Japanese yew (Taxus cuspidata Sieb. et Zucc.) was studied using Quoirin and Lepoivre (1977) medium. Among the cytokinin tested, BAP, kinetin, and thidiazuron at various concentrations had no effect on shoot multiplication However when zeatin at 5$\times$10$^{-5}$ M was added to the medium, an average of 6 shoots were regenerated per explant after 8 weeks of culture. The ratio of rooting ex vitro was remarkably increased up to 34% by dipping the basal end in 0.5 to 1.0% IBA on talc compared with 3% in vitro rooting. Rooted plantlets were acclimated in greenhouse conditions for one month and successfully transplanted to the field.
Single-node stem pieces ca. 1 cm in length containing a axillary bud were obtained from in vitro plants of potato (Solanum tuberosum L.). The influences by a position of the node and the existence of a leaf at the node were observed in the single-node culture on the 8% sucrose MS medium. The effect of CCC was also investigated for the microtuberization. The apical part node was excellent in the tuberization not to mention shoot length, fresh weight, diameter, the number of node on the in vitro culture of a single-node than the lower part. The differences in the diameter of a tuber formed in the part of the axillary bud on all treatments including the cultivation of the apical part node were not recognized. However, the fresh weight of the tuber showed high value in the tuber formed at the axillary bud of shoot apex part. At 20 days after cultivation, tuberization was promoted in the new stolen that developed from the bud of node with a leaf under SD condition of 8 hours at $20^{\circ}C$. The tuberization from axillary bud of the single-node without leaf was inhibited at high temperature of $28^{\circ}C$ regardless of daylength. Whereas, tuberization at $20^{\circ}C$ and $28^{\circ}C$ was similar without the difference under SD condition but the tuber formation ratio were low. CCC 500 mg/L promoted tuberization and the effect was also showed even under LD condition at $28^{\circ}C$. The inhibiton of tuberization under LD and high temperature condition could be solved by treatment with CCC.

The growth of mobile devices in Internet of Things (IoT) leads to a number of remote and controlling system related IoT applications. For instance, home automation controlling system uses client system such web apps on smartphone or web service to access the home server by sending control commands. The home server receives the command, then controls for instance the light system. The web service gateway responsible for handling clients' requests attests an internet latency when an increasing number of end users requests submit toward it. Therefore, this web service gateway fails to detect several commands, slows down predefined actions which should be performed without human intervention. In this paper, we investigate the performance of a web server-side platgorm based event-driven, non-blocking approach called Node.js against traditional thread-based server side approach to handle a large number of client requests simultaneously for remote and controlling system in IoT remote monitoring applications. The Node.JS is 40% faster than the traditional web server side features thread-based approach. The use of Node.js server-side handles a large number of clients' requests, then therefore, reduces delay in performing predefined actions automatically in IoT environment.
Soybean is the one of recalcitrant legume species for shoot induction. Shoot regeneration via direct organogenesis was investigated in five soybean cultivars, 'Dawon', 'Pungsan', 'Daewon', 'Taekwang' and 'Chongdoo 1' by using cotyledonary node explants. Out of 5 soybean cultivars, an efficient shoot regeneration condition was developed in the two soybean cultivars, 'Dawon' and 'Pungsan'. When various kinds of plant growth regulators with different concentration were estimated, the optimum medium condition for shoot induction in both soybean cultivars was MS + B5 vitamin supplemented with BA at concentration 2 mg/L. In addition, shoot formation efficiency was increased with 97.09% and 93.88% by the pretreatment of BA onto the explants before in vitro culture in both cultivars. Shoot induction in 'Dawon' cultivar was originated from epidermal tissue and sub-epidermal layers when histological changes were investigated under shoot regeneration after culturing cotyledonary node segments on shoot induction medium for 0 to 21 days. Especially, cell dedifferentiation was observed from parenchyma cells to meristematic cell in 3-day cultured segments.

We analyze and compare the structure of the networks of Netflix, Disney+, and OCN, which are forerunners in OTT market, on Twitter. This study employs NodeXL pro as a visualization software package for social network analysis. As a result of the comparison with values of Vertices, Connected Components, Average Geodesic Distance, Average Betweenness Centrality, and Average Closeness Centrality. Netflix has comparative advantages at Vertices, Connected Components, and Average Closeness Centrality, OCN at Average Geodesic Distance, and Disney+ at Average Betweenness Centrality. Netflix has a more appropriate social network for influencer marketing than Disney+ and OCN. Based on the analysis results, the purpose of this study is to explain the structural differences in the social networks of Netflix, Disney+, and OCN in terms of influencer marketing.
To study the capacity of callus and shoot formation on seedling stage in soybean, excised hypocotyl, epicotyl, shoot tip, cotyledonary node and primary leaf were cultured on artificial media (MS and B$_{5}$ medium) supplemented with several hormones. Regeneration of shoots was fairly successful from shoot tip and cotyledonary node tissues in soybean. These shoots could be rooted in vitro through tissue culture technique and transplanted normally into soil. Hypocotyl and epicotyl tissues formed only callus, of which growth and appearance were different according to the kinds of media and additives. A small number of shoots were formed from primary leaf tissues, but they did not develop further.r.
Multiple shoots obtained in MS medium suppler with 5.0 mg/L BA though shoot-tip culture. The frequency of vitrified shoot was lower on Bacto-agar medium than on Gelrite as gelling agent. Addition of activated charcoal at concentrations of 0.1~0.3% reduced vitrification and markedly increased shoot growth, and formation and growth of roots, but significantly reduced the number of shoots formed. The ratio of fresh weight to dry weight was decreased by increasing light intensity and agar concentration. Eight-tenths times of macroelement of MS medium was observed to be effective for shoot formation. Addition of IAA effectively promoted shoot formation in both shoot tip and node-bud explants. Supplement of 5.0 mg/L BA, 0.3 mg/L IAA to MS medium was most effective in shoot proliferation on shoot tip and node-bud explants.Multiple shoots obtained in MS medium suppler with 5.0 mg/L BA though shoot-tip culture. Sweet potato is a crop vegetatively propagated by vine cuttings, an ineffective method for maintaining pathogene-free stock plants. As an alternative method, single-node cultures of virus-free plantlets derived from apical meristem in sweet potato (cv. Yulmi) was examined. Effective pH range, sugar concentration and nodal order were investigated to establish an in vitro mass propagation system with high quality virus-free stock plantlets to farmhouse. Although the plantlets grew at wide range of pH, the most effective pH of the medium was 4.8 in single-node cultures. High sugar concentration of 60∼80 g/L resulted in increased growth response in shoot length, root length, number of node, leaf area and fresh and dry weight of shoot and root, whereas reducing sugar contents below 6% was showed reduced growth response. The first node including meristem tip was the best for the rapid growth of plantlets and the other nodes also showed a very similar growth response. Uniform plantlet can be obtained massively at the same time by culture of single node except for the first node including meristem tip. In conclusion, the most effective pH range and sugar concentration of medium for the growth of plantlets via single-node cultures was 4.8, 60∼80 g/L respectively. The first node was the best for the rapid propagation of plantlets in nodal order.
This experiment was carried out to establish micropropagation system in Fritillaria thunbergii Miq. Through the culture of bulblet scales, stems, node-buds and shoot tips with special reference to the effect of physiological age of explant and plant growth regulators on bulblet formation. Number of formed bulblets was significantly increased in node-bud or stem tissue compared to scals segments and on the medium supplemented with kinetin than BA containing medium. Optimum levels of kinetin for bulblet formation from node-bud taken from above 3 cm shoot length and stem segments excised from below 3 cm shoot length were 5.0 mg /L and $1.0{\sim}3.0\;mg$ /L kinetin, respectively. Interesting phenomenon was observed, the direct formation of bulblets from the axilliary bud of cultured explants. Bulblet forming capacity in stem tissue was depended on stem age, young stem had high regeneration ability compared to old stem taken from above 10 cm shoot length. 1.0 mg /L kinetin was optimum concentration for the formation of bulblets from old stem segments. Stem tissue taken from underground growing plant was promoted coampare to shoot tips or bulb scale segments. Optimum concentration of sucrose was $5{\sim}7%$. Summariged above results revealed that effective explant for micropropagation was stem and /or node-bud tissue excised from less than 3 cm plant height compared to those of bulb scale segments which showed high contamination after culture. Maximum multiplication rate of young stem and /or node-bud segment was about 20 times. Kinetin requirement for stimulation of bulblet formation from cultured explant depended on source of explants but favorable levels of kinetin for organogenesis ranged from 1.0 mg /L to 5.0 mg /L.

The most important factor in the wireless sensor network is the use of effective energy and increase in lifetime of the individual nodes in order to operate the wireless network more efficiently. For this purpose, various routing protocols have been developed. The LEACH such a protocol, well known among typical cluster routing protocols. However, when a cluster head is selected, the energy consumption may not be equal because it does not take into account the energy of the nodes. In this paper, we seek to improve the cluster head selection method according to residual energy of each sensor node. This method then adaptively applies the LEACH algorithm and the cluster head section algorithm with consideration of node energy in accordance with the energy of the whole sensor field. Through the simulation, it was found that this proposed algorithm was effective.
