황해 지역의 질소와 황 침적 추정 (Estimation of Nitrogen and Sulfur Deposition over the Yellow Sea Region)

  • The amounts of nitrogen and sulfur deposited in the region of the Yellow Sea in both dry and wet forms were estimated by using the measurement data published in tile literature during tile past 10 years. In the estimation of dry deposition, concentrations at ground stations including those at a station on the Chinese side and concentrations from shipboard and aircraft measurements were used as well as deposition velocities. Wet deposition flux was determined at ground stations on the Korean side either by taking the flux data themselves or by calculating them from precipitation data in the literature. The dry deposition flux over the Yellow Sea was much greater than those China was confirmed from the fact that the total amount summing wet and dry depositions exceeded the emission amount from Korea. Dry deposition was principally made in the gaseous form due to a larger deposition velocity. Nevertheless, since the deposition velocity over water was smaller than that over the ground, dry deposition of oxidized nitrogen was smaller than wet deposition. As a whole, wet depositions of nitrogen and sulfur were 2.3 and 1.9 times 1arger than corresponding dry depositions, respectively.

  • Nonvolatile semiconductor memory devices with reoxidized nitrided oxide(RONO) gate dielectric were fabricated, and nitrogen distribution and bonding species which contributing memory characteristics were analyzed. Also, memory characteristics of devices according to anneal temperatures were investigated. The devices were fabricated by 0.35$\mu\textrm{m}$ retrograde twin well CMOS processes. The processes could be simple by in-situ process of nitridation anneal and reoxidation. The nitrogen distribution and bonding state of gate dielectric were investigated by Dynamic Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometry(D-SIMS), Time-of-Flight Secondary ton Mass Spectrometry(ToF-SIMS), and X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy(XPS). Nitrogen concentrations are proportional to nitridation anneal temperatures and the more time was required to form the same reoxidized layer thickness. ToF-SIMS results show that SiON species are detected at the initial oxide interface and Si$_2$NO species near the new Si-SiO$_2$ interface that formed after reoxidation. As the anneal temperatures increased, the device showed worse retention and degradation properties. These could be said that nitrogen concentration near initial interface is limited to a certain quantity, so excess nitrogen are redistributed near the Si-SiO$_2$ interface and contributed to electron trap generation.

혐기성 소화액의 농지환원에 따른 질소 거동 (Assessment of Nitrogen Fate in the Soil by Different Application Methods of Digestate)

  • Digestate or slurry produced from anaerobic digestion is mostly applied to crop lands for its disposal and recovering nutrients. However, minimizing nitrogen losses following field application of the digestate is important for maximizing the plant's nitrogen uptake and reducing environmental concerns. This study was conducted to assess the effects of three different biogas digestate application techniques (sawdust mixed with digestate (SSD), the hole application method (HA), and digestate injected in the soil (SD)) on nitrate leaching potential in the soil. A pot laboratory experiment was conducted at room temperature of 25 ± 2 ℃ for 107 days. The experimental results showed that sawdust application method turned out to be appropriate for quick immobilization of surplus N in the form of microbial biomass N, reflecting its lower total nitrogen and NH4-N contents and low pH. The NH4-N and total nitrogen fate in the soil fertilized with manure showed no statistically significant (p > 0.05) differences between the different methods applied during the incubation time under room temperature. In contrast, NO3-N concentration indicates significant reduction in sawdust treatment (p < 0.05) compared to the control and other application methods. However, the soil sawdust mixed with digestate was more effective than the other methods, because of the cumulative labile carbon contents of the amendment, which implies soil net N immobilization.

대청호 저토의 N, P및 Si 영양염 함량과 조류생장잠재력 (The Contents of Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Silicon Nutrient and Algal Growth Potential (AGP) in the Sediment of Taechong Reservoir)

  • 대청호내 3개 지점에서 저토의 영양염을 조사하여 수층과 식물플랑크톤에 대한 생장 잠재력에 미치는 영향을 파악하였다. 저토-수층의 경계면에서 DO는 0.5 mg $O_{2}$/l 이하로서 무산소 상태였다. 공극수의 전기전도도는 저토보다 1.9${\sim}$2.6배 더 높았고 수심이 얕을수록 변동폭이 컸다. Eh는 -12${\sim}$-148mV 범위였고 가비중은 1.17${\sim}$1.30g/cm$^{3}$ 범위로서 지역간에 차이가 크지 않았다. 함수율과 유기물 함량은 각각 58%${\sim}$72%, 8${\sim}$13% 범위로서 댐 부근에서 높았고 옥천천에서 낮았다. 저토의 입도 조성은 사질이 97%를 차지하였다. 저토내 총세균수와 규조류의 세포밀도는 수심이 깊은 하류에서 높았다. 공극수와 치환성의 질소와 인 함량에서 입자성이 용존성보다 풍부하였고, 무기 질소로는 NH$_{4}$가 대부분이었다. 또한 유기와 무기 질소 형태로 볼 때, 공극수내 질소함량은 무기 질소가 많았고, 치환성 질소는 유기 질소가 많았다. 공극수 인 함량에서 용존 유기 인이 많았고 치환성은 무기 인이 많았다. 저토내 규소는 치환성이 최대 63%로서 공극수보다 훨씬 많았다. 대청호의 저토는 유기물이 풍부한 부영양 상태로 평가되었다.

담배에서 질소 형태에 따른 흡수 양상 및 생육과 질소대사 효소의 활성 변화 (Changes of Nitrogen Uptake, Growth and Activities of Nitrogen Metabolizing Enzymes by Different Source of Nitrogen in Tobacco)

  • 질소의 형태를 질산태(NO$_3$$^{-}$-N), 암모니아태(NH$_4$$^{+}$-N) 그리고 질산태와 암모니아태(NO$_3$$^{-}$-N + NH$_4$$^{+}$-N)를 혼합한 양액 하에서 수경재배하여 담배의 생육단계별 질소이용에 따른 흡수 양상과 생육 및 nitrate reductase, glutamine synthetase 효소활성을 평가하여 질소 시비 유형에 따른 체내 질소대사의 기초자료를 제공하고져 축행한 결과는 다음과 같다. 질소의 형태별 생육은 NO$_3$$^{-}$-N, NH$_4$$^{+}$-N 단독 처리구보다 혼합처리구에서 지상 및 지하부의 생육이 좋았고, NH$_4$$^{+}$-N 처리구에서는 암모늄 독성에 의해 생육이 극히 불량하였다. 생육단계별 양액의 pH 변화는 NO$_3$$^{-}$-N 처리구에서 이식 초기부터 이식 후 40일까지 증가하였고 NH$_4$$^{+}$-N 처리구에서는 이식 후 20일에 pH 3.42, 혼합처리구에서는 이식 후 30일에 pH 3.64까지 떨어졌다가 증가하였다. 혼합처리구의 질소흡수반응은 생육초기에서는 NH$_4$$^{+}$-N의 흡수를 우선하고 생육중기부터 NO$_3$$^{-}$-N 흡수가 증가하여 흡수 양상을 달리하였다. 생육시기에 따라 흡수형태도 NO$_3$$^{-}$-N와 NH$_4$$^{+}$-N 사이의 상대적인 비율에 의해 크게 영향을 미쳤다. 엽록소와 가용성 단백질은 혼합처리구에서 전질소는 NH$_4$$^{+}$-N 처리구에서 높았고, 특히 NH$_4$$^{+}$-N 질소를 시비하였을 때는 질소함량이 증가하였다. 질산함량이 증가하였다. 질산함량은 NO$_3$$^{-}$-N 처리구에서 암모니아함량은 NH$_4$$^{+}$-N 처리구에서 높았고, 산소 활성은 혼합처리구에서 nitrate reductase와 glutamine synthetase 활성이 높았다.

자주새우, Crangon affinis의 총대사에 미치는 기아의 영향 (Effect of Starvation on the Total Metabolism of Crangon affinis)

  • 자주새우, Crangon affinis 서식지의 동계$(7^{\circ}C$, 춘. 추계$(15^{\circ}C$ 및 하계$(25^{\circ}C$의 평균 수온대에서 일정기간 (0, 5, 11, 17, 25days) 절식시킨 후 체물질의 화학적조성, 산소소비 및 질소배설률을 측정하여 환경변화에 대한 생리적 적응의 일면을 조사하였다. 1. 자주새우의 체물질조성은 단백질 $68.6\%$, 지질 $7.0\%$, 탄수화물$4.1\%$, 키틴$6.3\%$, 그리고 회분은 $14.6\%$였다. 2. 기아상태 에 서도 고온일수록 탈피 빈도는 높았으며 동일 절식기간 동안 고온일수록 체중 및 체물질의 감소는 더욱 컸다. 3. 산소소비율은 기아가 계속됨에 따라 고온일수록 현저히 감소하는 경향을 보였으나 기아 25일 경과 후의 각 수온구별 산소소비율은 유사하였다. 4. 수온별 각 실험구간의 $Q_{10}$치는 실험온도구간에 큰 차이를 보이지 않았으나 기아가 계속됨에 따라 상당히 감소하였다. 5. 총배설질소량은 고온일수록 증가하였으며 배설질소의 주성분은 암모니아였다 그리고 총배설질소량은 어느 실험수온구에서나 기아가 계속됨에 따라 현저하게 증가하였다. 6. 기아 25일 경과후 수온 7, 15 및 $25^{\circ}C$에서 이화된 단백질은 각각 체단백질의 1.8, 2.5 및 $3.3\%$였다. 7. 기아초기의 O:N 원자비는 22-25이고, 기아상태가 지속됨 에 따라 8이하로 낮아져 기아동안의 에너지원으로 단백질을 이용함을 보였다.

  • This paper was to investigate the preparation of polysulfone(PS), polyethersulfone(PES) and polyphenylsulfone(PPS) membrane. The thermal property of PPS was higher than that of others. From the result of SEM, the concentration of polymer was found to have a significant effect on the structure of membrane, and the structure of membrane made of PES is found to have regular micell form of asymmetry. Permeability and selectivity for oxygen and nitrogen gas in the air were analyzed by GC. Permeabilities of the membrane made of PES for oxygen and nitrogen in air, 1.5 and $0.7(x10^9[cm^3(STP)cm/cm^2seccmHg]) $, respectively was higher than that of others. and Selectivity of the membrane made of PPS for oxygen to nitrogen gas in air was 2.9.

Management of Excretion of Phosphorus, Nitrogen and Pharmacological Level Minerals to Reduce Environmental Pollution from Animal Production - Review -

  • In order to prevent pollution from animal waste, P, N and pharmacological level minerals should be properly managed. Microbial phytase has been used successfully to control P excretion. Activity of natural phytase in certain plant feedstuffs is high enough to be considered in feed formulation. Nitrogen control can be achieved through amino acid supplementation and protein restriction in the diet. Supplementation with carbohydrases reduces output of excreta as well as N. Ammonia release from the manure could be reduced by using a low crude protein diet along with the supplementation with probiotics products. Excretion of minerals used at pharmacological level can be reduced by using chelated forms. Cu and Zn in the form of methionine chelate have been successfully used in the broiler and pig diets.

  • The fractions of nitrogen were investigated in the soils of reclaimed and natural tidelands of southwest coastal area of Korea. The content of total-N varied to ranged form 619 to 5,534 mg/kg dry weight with a mean value of 1,857 mg/kg. The order of different fractions of nitrogen was as follows: Acid non-extractable-N > uncounted-N > acid extractable-N > ammonia-N > nitrate-N. The content of ammonia-N, acid extractable-N, and acid non-extractable-N showed highly negative correlations with pH. The content of acid extractable-N and ammonia-N showed highly positive correlation with clay content.

High Performance Thin-Film Transistors Based on Zinc Oxynitride Semiconductors: Experimental and First-Principles Studies

  • The properties of zinc oxynitride semiconductors and their associated thin film transistors are studied. Reactively sputtered zinc oxynitride films exhibit n-type conduction, and nitrogen-rich compositions result in relatively high electron mobility. Nitrogen vacancies are anticipated to act as shallow electron donors, as their calculated formation energy is lowest among the possible types of point defects. The carrier density can be reduced by substituting zinc with metals such as gallium or aluminum, which form stronger bonds with nitrogen than zinc does. The electrical properties of gallium-doped zinc oxynitride thin films and their respective devices demonstrate the carrier suppression effect accordingly.
