  • For the generalized nilpotent spaces, e.g. the locally nilpotent space, the residually locally nilpotent space and the space satisfying the condition ($T^{*}$) or ($T^{**}$), we find the pullback property of them. Furthermore we investigate some fiber properties of the space satisfying the condition ($T^{*}$) or ($T^{**}$), especially locally nilpotent space.

  • We study the structure of a generalization of right nilpotent-duo rings in relation with powers of elements. Such a ring property is said to be weakly right nilpotent-duo. We find connections between weakly right nilpotent-duo and weakly right duo rings, in several algebraic situations which have roles in ring theory. We also observe properties of weakly right nilpotent-duo rings in relation with their subrings and extensions.

  • A ring R is called right (resp., left) nilpotent-duo if N(R)a ⊆ aN(R) (resp., aN(R) ⊆ N(R)a) for every a ∈ R, where N(R) is the set of all nilpotents in R. In this article we provide other proofs of known results and other computations for known examples in relation with right nilpotent-duo property. Furthermore we show that the left nilpotent-duo property does not go up to a kind of matrix ring.

  • It is shown that every nilpotent-invariant module can be decomposed into a direct sum of a quasi-injective module and a square-free module that are relatively injective and orthogonal. This paper is also concerned with rings satisfying every cyclic right R-module is nilpotent-invariant. We prove that R ≅ R1 × R2, where R1, R2 are rings which satisfy R1 is a semi-simple Artinian ring and R2 is square-free as a right R2-module and all idempotents of R2 is central. The paper concludes with a structure theorem for cyclic nilpotent-invariant right R-modules. Such a module is shown to have isomorphic simple modules eR and fR, where e, f are orthogonal primitive idempotents such that eRf ≠ 0.

  • In this note, we prove that every subscalar operator with finite spectrum is algebraic. In particular, a quasi-nilpotent subscala operator is nilpotent. We also prove that every subscalar operator with property (${\delta}$) on a Banach space of dimension greater than 1 has a nontrivial invariant closed linear subspace.

  • Antoine studied conditions which are connected to the question of Amitsur of whether or not a polynomial ring over a nil ring is nil, introducing the notion of nil-Armendariz rings. Hizem extended the nil-Armendariz property for polynomial rings onto power-series rings, say nil power-serieswise rings. In this paper, we introduce the notion of power-serieswise CN rings that is a generalization of nil power-serieswise Armendariz rings. Finally, we study the nil-Armendariz property for Ore extensions and skew power series rings.

  • The reversible property of rings was initially introduced by Habeb and plays a role in noncommutative ring theory. In this note we study the reversible ring property on nilpotent elements, introducing the concept of commutativity of nilpotent elements at zero (simply, a CNZ ring) as a generalization of reversible rings. We first find the CNZ property of 2 by 2 full matrix rings over fields, which provides a basis for studying the structure of CNZ rings. We next observe various kinds of CNZ rings including ordinary ring extensions.

  • We in this note consider a generalized ring theoretic property of quasi-commutative rings in relation with powers. We will use the terminology of weakly left quasi-commutative for the class of rings satisfying such property. The properties and examples are basically investigated in the procedure of studying idempotents and nilpotent elements.

  • In this paper we show that Helton class preserves the nilpotent and finite ascent properties. Also, we show some relations on non-transitivity and decomposability between operators and their Helton classes. Finally, we give some applications in the Helton class of weighted shifts.
