Background in a novel is most important elements with characters and events, and means time, place and situation that characters appeared. Among the background, spatial background can help conveys topic of a novel. So, it may be helpful for choosing a novel that readers want to read. In this paper, we are targeting Korean historical novels. In case of English text, It can be recognize spatial background easily because it use upper and lower case and words used with the spatial information such as Bank, University and City. But, in case Korean text, it is difficult to recognize that spatial background because there is few information about usage of letter. In the previous studies, they use machine learning or dictionaries and rules to recognize about spatial information in text such as news and text messages. In this paper, we build a nation dictionaries that refer to information such as 'Korean history' and 'Google maps.' We Also propose a method for recognizing spatial background based on patterns of postposition in Korean sentences comparing to previous works. We are grasp using of postposition with spatial background because Korean characteristics. And we propose a method based on result of morpheme analyze and frequency in a novel text for raising accuracy about recognizing spatial background. The recognized spatial background can help readers to grasp the atmosphere of a novel and to understand the events and atmosphere through recognition of the spatial background of the scene that characters appeared.

Broadband ISDN will support advanced communication services such as multimedia conference, VOD and electronic news service. Because many of these advanced services require multimedia data delivery, future communication networks must have flexible and efficient multiparty communications capabilities. In this paper we propose a new multicasting method which uses packer filtering capabilities both in a physical network and in a logical network layers. This new scheme has potential to reduce the transmission and packet processing overheads of multicast communications. For the new multicasting method, we develop a group matching algorithm which finds a suitable set of groups that covers multiple target hosts. We show the application of the multicasting method and the group matching algorithm with two simple examoles.

This paper presents a method for clustering short text documents, such as news headlines, social media statuses, or instant messages. Due to the characteristics of these documents, which are usually short and sparse, an appropriate technique is required to discover hidden knowledge. The objective of this paper is to identify the combination of document representation, document distance, and document clustering that yields the best clustering quality. Document representations are expanded by external knowledge sources represented by a Distributed Representation. To cluster documents, a K-means partitioning-based clustering technique is applied, where the similarities of documents are measured by word mover's distance. To validate the effectiveness of the proposed method, experiments were conducted to compare the clustering quality against several leading methods. The proposed method produced clusters of documents that resulted in higher precision, recall, F1-score, and adjusted Rand index for both real-world and standard data sets. Furthermore, manual inspection of the clustering results was conducted to observe the efficacy of the proposed method. The topics of each document cluster are undoubtedly reflected by members in the cluster.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to increase our understanding of the terminal cancer patients and their families concerns. I analyzed the counseling contents of terminal cancer patients and their relatives who referred to hospice office. Method: Data was collected from January 2004 to November 2004. During the counseling, I took notes the key points and contents. 109 patients and/or their families's counseling records were analyzed with the descriptive statistics and content analysis. Result: 73.4% of patients knew their current terminally ill status. The mobility of 86.2% of the patients was worse than ECOG 3 level. Patients have uncontrolled pain(28.4%), emotional distress(55.0%), and physical distress(49.5%). Caregivers of the patients were spouse(46.8%), sons and daughters(24.8%). Family members had problems to tell the bad news to their family cancer patient. 95.4% of the patient and family members was informed about the hospice and palliative care services, and 35.8% of them was referred to the hospice and palliative organizations. Frequently asked questions were 'what is hospice?', 'how much is the cost of hospice services?' etc. Conclusion: Care planning for terminal cancer patients must include patient. Also, professionals should consider and offer accessible, effective and empathetic counseling services to patients and families.

This study aims to test empirically whether the ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard (ACGS) has a positive effect on Sustainability Reporting (SR) and whether the ACGS and Sustainability Reporting (SR) have a positive effect on Firm Value (FV). The study was conducted in five ASEAN countries - Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, and Thailand from 2014 - 2017. The research sample was collected from companies with the ACGS data and obtained with the help of 359 company observations. Hypothesis testing was performed using the Ordinary Least Square (OLS). The results of the study do not support all hypotheses. The ACGS has no effect on sustainability reporting. The ACGS has a significant negative effect on firm value, while sustainability reporting has a negative and insignificant effect on firm value. The ACGS and sustainability reporting are not good news for investors. This research's limitation is that companies rarely disclose the final value of the ACGS in their annual reports, so this research uses content analysis. The weakness of content analysis is the researchers' subjectivity so that the point of view between researchers is different. Besides, sustainability reporting for several ASEAN countries is voluntary, so not all companies can be sampled, which ultimately affects interpretation.

People usually check their social media, e-mail, and online news on their smartphones using their carrier network. During this process, much of the data traffic is offloaded to ubiquitous Wi-Fi networks. Such offloading will continue to increase rapidly because of flourishing public Wi-Fi networks located around the world. In this technical report, we first investigate domestic public Wi-Fi projects, and followed by foreign projects. In addition, we investigate the Wi-Fi technology evolution that has been standardized in IEEE 802. More and more people are tending to use Wi-Fi, not only at home or work, but also on public transport such as buses and trains. Hence, it is important to come up with ideas that can realize Wi-Fi onboard. The key technologies needed here are related to a mobile wireless backhaul between trains and trackside radio equipment, or between buses and roadside units. Thus, we also investigate the mobile wireless backhaul technologies and their trends.

As the number of SNS users is increasing, it has been very important how companies use SNS strategically. As a result, studies have been performed for the utilization of SNS. Most of the studies, however, focused on the overall characteristics of SNS and did not consider the characteristics of individual SNS. This study classified the main purpose of SNS use as relation-oriented purpose and information-oriented purpose, and identified the types of SNS from two viewpoints : service type and openness. Based on the classification, this study identified the characteristics of Cyworld, Facebook, and Twitter respectively, and analyzed the difference of the purpose of SNS users according to the characteristics of each service. The results showed that more users had the information-oriented purpose in the order of Twitter, Facebook, and Cyworld. There was no difference in the relation-oriented purpose among the three services. The analyses of the motive to join a group or a party made similar results. The results of additional analyses showed that the ratio of users with many acquaintances was high in the order of Facebook, Twitter, and Cyworld. In addition, more users checked their timeline or news feed more frequently in the order of Facebook, Twitter, and Cyworld.

본 연구는 사행산업의 분야인 복권, 체육진흥투표권, 경마, 카지노에 대해 언론에서는 어떻게 다루어지고 있는지를 1990년부터 2015년까지의 뉴스데이터를 빅데이터 분석 방법 중 테스트의 의미연결망 분석을 통해 밝혀보고자 하는 연구이다. 이 논문은 의미망 분석을 통해 기사의 빈도와 연결성을 프레이밍과 시민관심 정도로 재조명 하여 기사에 대한 언론보도자의 의도와 시민의 인식차이를 밝혔고, 이를 통해 정책적 특성과 개혁과제를 탐색하였다. 분석결과 복권의 경우 당첨번호, 당첨금, 조작의혹 등 당첨에 대한 부분이 주제인 '사회문제' 형태였으며, 체육진흥투표권의 경우에는 사업입찰, 불법사이트, 발매대상 등 주로 사업추진과 불법사이트에 대한 '의무정보' 종류였고, 경마의 경우 사업장, 홍보, 기사 등으로 사업홍보나 광고 관련 뉴스이었고, 마지막으로 카지노의 경우에는 불법, 도박장, 외국인 등 '주요정보'에 해당하는 논문이었다. 시대에 따라 1990년대에는 카지노, 2000년대에는 복권, 2010년대에는 경마에 대한 기사보도가 많아졌으며, 이에 대한 시민의 반응도 사업비리, 당첨, 시민운동 등의 차이가 있었다. 마지막으로 기사의 빈도와 연결성이 나타내는 프레이밍 정도와 시민의 관심은 '1. 홍보광고, 2. 의무정보, 3. 사회이슈, 4. 주요정보' 네 가지로 구분되었으며 이 중 사고, 비리 등 주요기사로 구분되는 사회문제가 주요 공공의제로 형성되는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

This study aimed to identify the intrinsic characteristics of camouflage patterns by reviewing their origin, transitions and types from a theoretical background and analyzing their forms of expression in contemporary fashion. For a literature review and an empirical analysis of the camouflage patterns used in contemporary fashion, the study referred to domestic and foreign fashion magazines published between 2000 S/S and 2010 S/S, including Gap Press, Fashion News, Vogue and Harper's Bazaar, and other related data available on the internet. The findings of this study show that the forms of camouflage patterns used in contemporary fashion can be divided into four types: abstract patterns, plant patterns of flowers or leaves, animal patterns and dotted patterns. In terms of coloration, the camouflage patterns work to refresh the design, breaking from the image of military uniforms through the use of a wide range of color variation and combinations as well as the traditional camouflage colors based on khaki and beige. In terms of expression, most of them utilize printing. However, other techniques of expression, such as embroidery, beading, knitting, and collages are used to emphasize the beauty of handcrafted decorations along with the aesthetic value of reliefs. Through these tendencies of expression, the characteristics of contemporary fashion using camouflage are explained with an emphasis on feminine beauty, the expression of neutrality, and the use as decorative factors.

The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of celebrity and celebrity fashion on contemporary fashion. As study methods, the literature study using books and theses concerning fashion, culture, and history were used for theoretical background and visual data from magazine, news paper, and internet were used for actual study. The results of this study are as follows. First, the celebrity is the figure who shows their attractive appearance and status using major cultural contents on the basis of the various media and visual culture, and has secured a solid foothold as the source of fashion and an indispensable factor of fashion industry. Second, the celebrity fashion, a creature of mass media, set a powerful fashion trend along with the media, and increasingly plays mayor roles in the society and culture. Third, the combination of celebrity and fashion has come into the brightest spotlight as the serious business of today, and bring about a tremendous industrial ripple effect extensively.
