The application of Nano-paste for high efficiency back contact Solar cell (고효율 후면 전극형 태양전지를 위한 나노 Paste의 적용에 대한 연구)

  • In this study, we focused on our specialized electrode process for Si back-contact crystalline solar cell. It is different from other well-known back-contact cell process for thermal aspect and specialized process. In general, aluminum makes ohmic contact to the Si wafer and acts as a back surface reflector. And, silver is used for low series resistance metal grid lines. Aluminum was sputtered onto back side of wafer. Next, silver is directly patterned on the wafer by screen printing. The sputtered aluminum was removed by wet etching process after rear silver electrode was formed. In this process, the silver paste must have good printability, electrical property and adhesion strength, before and after the aluminum etching process. Silver paste also needs low temperature firing characteristics to reduce the thermal budget. So it was seriously collected by the products of several company of regarding low temperature firing (below $250^{\circ}C$) and aluminum etching endurance. First of all, silver pastes for etching selectivity were selected to evaluate as low temperature firing condition, electrical properties and adhesive strength. Using the nano- and micron-sized silver paste, so called hybrid type, made low temperature firing. So we could minimize the thermal budget in metallization process. Also the adhesion property greatly depended on the composition of paste, especially added resin and inorganic additives. In this paper, we will show that the metallization process of back-contact solar cell was realized as optimized nano-paste characteristics.

Effects of Service Quality on Consumer Satisfaction and Repurchase Intention of Apparel Products and Hairdressing Services for Silver Consumers (의류제품과 미용서비스 구매시 점포서비스품질이 실버소비자만족 및 재구매의도에 미치는 영향)

  • Recently, the growing of the aging population by medical and science development, silver consumers were became new consumption market. The purposes of this study were to investigate the effects of service quality on consumer satisfaction and repurchase intention in the apparel store and hairdressing shop. Data were obtained from 853 women in the 50's and 60's who living in Busan. Data were analyzed by frequency analysis, factor analysis, Cronbach's alpha, 1-test, and path analysis using SPSS WIN 12.0. The results of the study were as follows: First, service qualities of apparel store were composed of Personal Service, Facilities Service, Product Service, and Policy Service. Service quality of hairdressing shop were consisted of Personal Service, Facilities Service, Skill Service, and Policy Service. Second, repurchasing intention was differently influenced by perceived store service quality and consumer satisfaction when purchasing apparel products and hairdressing services. Salesperson or hairdresser was the most important variable for silver consumers' satisfaction, which influenced the repurchase intention of apparels or hairdressing services. This research extends a domain of fashion market research from the product to the service. Additionally, this study provides an insight into silver fashion marketers and retailers for developing market strategies for silver common. Implications are drawn for the information useful to consumer behavior researchers and retailers of the silver fashion market.

A new anti-bacterial colloidal system from tailored control of colloidal silver deposition onto functionalized porous

  • A new collolidal silver (Ag) system is present in which a fine colloidal Ag is in situ deposited onto functionalized porous poly(ethylene glycol dimethacrylate) (poly (EGDMA)) microspheres. The effectiveness of Ag deposition was investigated considering the surface characteristics of poly (EGDMA) microspheres, The result reported in this study illustrates that the control of surface area and surface functionality (in this study, a hydroxyl group) of poly (EGDMA) microspheres is an important factor that determines practically the degree of deposition of colloidal Ag. The x-ray analysis showed that Ag nanoparticles were dispersed evenly inner and outer surfaces and has a face center cubic(fcc) phase. In the preservation test, the Ag-containing poly (EGDMA) microspheres had a powerful anti-bacterial performance, showing a high potential for a new preservative.

  • Noble 7,7'-substituted (or unsubstituted) 4-oxo-1,1',2,2'-dibenzothiazine-3,3'-dicarboxylic acid methyl ester 1,1,1',1'-tetraoxide 3,4'-yl ethers 2a-h were synthesized through the dehydration of 7-substituted (or unsubstituted) 4-hydroxy-1,2-benzothiazine-3-carboxylic acid methyl ester 1,1-dioxides 1a-h using silver(I) oxide for the development of new nonsteroidal antiinflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). Optimal reaction was proceeded through stirring of distilled acetone using 100 mol% of silver(I) oxide at room temperature for 24-68 hrs.

New Record of Two Oligohymenophorean Ciliates (Protozoa: Ciliophora) from Korea

  • During a field survey on Korean coastal marine waters, two ciliates belonging to the genera Pseudovorticella Foissner & Schiffmann, 1975 and Frontonia Ehrenberg, 1838 in the class Oligohymenophorea de Puytorac et al., 1974, were collected. Even though the two genera are very common in the aquatic ecosystems, they had been superficially studied in Korean habitats. Using the observation of living cells and specimens impregnated by protargol, silver carbonate, and silver nitrate, two newly recorded ciliate are identified as P. paramarina Sun, Ji, Warren & Song, 2009 and F. ocularis Bullington, 1939. A brief diagnosis, remark, and comprehensive micrographs are provided for each species.

  • A PVC membrane electrode for silver ion based on a new cone shaped calix[4]arene (CASCA) as membrane carrier was prepared. The electrode exhibits a Nernstian response for $Ag^+$ over a wide concentration range ($1.0{\times}10^{-1}-8.0{\times}10^{-6}$M) with a slope of 58.2 {\pm}$ 0.5 mV per decade. The limit of detection of the sensor is $5.0{\times}10^{-6}$M. The sensor has a very fast response time (~5 s) in the concentration range of ${\leq}=1.0{\times}10^{-3}$ M, and a useful working pH range of 4.0-9.5. The proposed sensor displays excellent discriminating ability toward $Ag^+$ ion with respect to common alkali, alkaline earth, transition and heavy metal ions. It was used as an indicator electrode in potentiometric titration of $Ag^+$ with EDTA and in direct determination of silver ion in wastewater of silver electroplating.

Research on the Relationship between the Service Quality and Customer Loyalty of the Hair Beauty Industry for the Silver Generation : With a Focus on Relationship Quality (실버세대 헤어 미용업의 서비스품질과 고객충성도에 대한 관계성 연구: 관계품질을 중심으로)

  • The silver generation in our aging society will rapidly emergeas a new consumer group and the service industry used by silver customers will develop going forward. The beauty service sector is one of the most needed ones for the qualitative improvement of life for the silver generation. In this research, ananalysis was conducted on 244 persons of the silver generation living in Seoul, in order to examine the factors affecting the quality of the beauty service for the silver generation and their relationships with customer loyalty. For the statistical treatment of the empirical analysis, the SPSS 23.0 and AMOS 23.0 statistical programs were used. The results of the analysis showed that the service quality perceived by the silver customers who used the beauty service had significant effects on trust and flow, which are the relationship qualities, and that trust and flow had positive effects on customer loyalty. Also, it was found that, in the relationship between service quality and customer loyalty, trust had mediating effects on reliability, responsiveness, empathy, and assurance, and that flow had mediating effects on reliability, responsiveness, empathy, assurance, and tangibility. The results of this research are significant in that they present the basic data enabling the beauty industry to play an important role for the silver generation, under the present circumstances in which the beauty service industry has minimal educational programs exclusively available for the silver generation.

Electro-optical Properties of Twisted Nematic Liquid Crystal Cell with Silver Nanowire Network Electrodes

  • This paper introduces liquid crystal (LC) alignment and its electro-optical properties in the LC cells with silver nanowire (AgNW) networks. The AgNW network was used as an electrode of LC cell as a substitute for an indium-tin-oxide (ITO) film. LC alignment characteristics in the LC cell using AgNW networks, which have two different sheet resistances of $60{\Omega}/m^2$ and $80{\Omega}/m^2$, were observed. The LC alignment characteristics including pretilt angle, LC alignment state, and thermal stability are similar irrespective of sheet resistance of AgNW network. However, twisted-nematic (TN)-LC cell normally operated when using AgNW network with sheet resistance of $80{\Omega}/m^2$. Electrooptical properties of TN-LC cell exhibited competitive performance compared to those of TN-LC cell based on conventional ITO electrode, which allow new approaches to replace conventional ITO electrode in display technology.

  • A new route for the synthesis of silver doped of zinc sulfide phosphor by combustion method has been investigated. Silver nitrate was decomposed with urea or carbohydrazide to give small size particles in presence of alkali metal halides at low temperature compared to the conventional method. The high temperature inherent to the highly exothermic nature of redox reaction leads to well-crystallized powder in short time. The phosphors thus obtained were further heated at $1050^{\circ}C$ in an inert atmosphere for 3hrs to get better luminescence properties.
