As SNS(Social Network Service) becomes a part of our life, new information can be derived through various information provided by SNS. Through the public timeline analysis of SNS, we can extract the latest tour trends for the public and the intimacy through the social relationship analysis in the SNS. The extracted intimacy can also be used to make the personalized recommendation by adding the weights to friends with high intimacy. We apply SNS elements such as analyzed latest trends and intimacy to item-based collaborative filtering techniques to achieve better accuracy and satisfaction than existing travel recommendation services in a new way. In this paper, we propose a social travel recommendation system using item - based collaborative filtering.

Because of the development and spread of artificial intelligence (AI) technology, new security threats and adverse AI functions have emerged as a real problem in the process of diversifying areas of use and introducing AI-based products and services to users. In response, it is necessary to develop new AI-based technologies in the field of information protection and security. This paper reviews topics such as domestic and international trends on false information detection technology, cyber security technology, and trust distribution platform technology, and it establishes the direction of the promotion of technology development. In addition, the development of international trends in ethical AI guidelines to ensure the human-centered ethical validity of AI development processes and final systems in parallel with technology development are analyzed and discussed. ETRI has developed AI policing technology, information protection, and security technologies as well as derived tasks and implementation strategies to prepare ethical AI development guidelines to ensure the reliability of AI based on its capabilities.

New products and services, such as 5G and wireless power transmission equipment, have recently brought about changes in the field of electromagnetic technology. There is a need for the evaluation and measurement of the health effects of such technology. To address this need, the development of international standards related to human exposure to electromagnetic waves of these new technologies are currently being discussed. This article briefly introduces the International Standard Organization standards for human exposure to electromagnetic waves, and focuses on the major standard trends for SAR measurement techniques that employ vector probes, wireless power transfer, and 5G base station measurement.

Currently, major foreign countries such as Europe, the United States, Japan, and China have established policy and technology goals by 2050 to achieve the hydrogen economy. In line with this, Korea is also preparing to leap forward as a leading country in the world's best hydrogen economy by establishing a technology development target by 2050. In this paper, by examining and analyzing domestic and foreign policy and technology trends to date, implications for domestic hydrogen policy and technology trends are discussed, and major issues and future contents are summarized.

The circumstances of overseas construction market is developing into quite complicated and diversified trends. Construction circumstance is escaping from localization to the open competitions, and from developing countries focused to the resources developing countries. Thus, new strategies for order competitiveness improvement based on our know-hows are required to secure the order volumes. This study has analyzed domestic construction companies' order trends in overseas construction market, and proposed strategic plans through analyzing of Order Causes on overseas construction projects to improve the order competitiveness.

Music is a means of emotional expression and self-expression. In addition, it allows to interact with others and communicate with the world. Music may be considered as inaccessible for people with hearing impairment, who are sometimes discriminated from the music community. We explore trends in various technologies and research that enable everyone to access and enjoy music through experiences that leverage new and innovative technological approaches and bridge the gap between people with and without hearing impairment. Various aspects of haptic systems are being studied, but most of them are performance-oriented and focus only on technical functions. As research matures, more detailed and new studies that converge with various senses are being attempted. These studies will likely evolve into influential research areas that can positively affect the lives of people in terms of accessibility and inclusion by providing detailed functions and stimuli to specific users, including those with hearing impairment.

Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a new type of respiratory disease that has been announced as a pandemic. The COVID-19 outbreak has changed the way we live. It has also changed the food service industry. This study aimed to identify trends in the food and food service industry after the COVID-19 outbreak and suggest research themes induced by industry trends. This study investigated the industry and academic information on the food and food service industry and societal trends resulting from the COVID-19 outbreak. The most noticeable changes in the food industry include the explosive increase in home meal replacement, meal-kit consumption, online orders, take-out, and drive-through. The adoption of technologies, including robots and artificial intelligence, has also been noted. Such industry trends are discussed in this paper from a research perspective, including consumer, employee, and organizational strategy perspectives. This study reviews the changes in the food service industry after COVID-19 and the implications that these changes have rendered to academia. The paper concludes with future expectations that would come in the era of COVID-19.
